The United States is running out of time to get its budget and trade deficits under control. Despite the urgency of the situation, 2010 has been wasted in hype about a non-existent recovery. As recently as August 2 Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner penned a New York Times Column, Welcome to the Recovery.
As John Williams (shadowstats.com) has made clear on many occasions, an appearance of recovery was created by over-counting employment and undercounting inflation. Warnings by Williams, Gerald Celente, and myself have gone unheeded, but our warnings recently had echoes from Boston University professor Laurence Kotlikoff and from David Stockman, who excoriated the Republican Party for becoming big-spending Democrats.
It is encouraging to see a bit of realization that, this time, Washington cannot spend the economy out of recession. The deficits are already too large for the dollar to survive as reserve currency, and deficit spending cannot put Americans back to work in jobs that have been moved offshore.
However, the solutions offered by those who are beginning to recognize that there is a problem are discouraging. Kotlikoff thinks the solution is massive Social Security and Medicare cuts or massive tax increases or hyperinflation to destroy the massive debts.
Perhaps economists lack imagination, or perhaps they don’t want to be cut off from Wall Street and corporate subsidies, but Social Security and Medicare are insufficient at their present levels, especially considering the erosion of private pensions by the dot com, derivative and real estate bubbles. Cuts in Social Security and Medicare, for which people have paid 15% of their earnings all their life, would result in starvation and deaths from curable diseases.
Tax increases make even less sense. It is widely acknowledged that the majority of households cannot survive on one job. Both husband and wife work and often one of the partners has two jobs in order to make ends meet. Raising taxes makes it harder to make ends meet—thus more foreclosures, more food stamps, more homelessness. What kind of economist or humane person thinks this is a solution?
Ah, but we will tax the rich. The usual idiocy. The rich have enough money. They will simply stop earning.
Let’s get real. Here is what the government is likely to do. Once the Washington idiots realize that the dollar is at risk and that they can no longer finance their wars by borrowing abroad, the government will either levy a tax on private pensions on the grounds that the pensions have accumulated tax-deferred, or the government will require pension fund managers to purchase Treasury debt with our pensions. This will buy the government a bit more time while pension accounts are loaded up with worthless paper.
The last Bush budget deficit (2008) was in the $400-500 billion range, about the size of the Chinese, Japanese, and OPEC trade surpluses with the US. Traditionally, these trade surpluses have been recycled to the US and finance the federal budget deficit. In 2009 and 2010 the federal deficit jumped to $1,400 billion, a back-to-back trillion dollar increase. There are not sufficient trade surpluses to finance a deficit this large. From where comes the money?
The answer is from individuals fleeing the stock market into “safe” Treasury bonds and from the bankster bailout, not so much the TARP money as the Federal Reserve’s exchange of bank reserves for questionable financial paper such as subprime derivatives. The banks used their excess reserves to purchase Treasury debt.
These financing maneuvers are one-time tricks. Once people have fled stocks, that movement into Treasuries is over. The opposition to the bankster bailout likely precludes another. So where does the money come from the next time?
The Treasury was able to unload a lot of debt thanks to “the Greek crisis,” which the New York banksters and hedge funds multiplied into “the euro crisis.” The financial press served as a financing arm for the US Treasury by creating panic about European debt and the euro. Central banks and individuals who had taken refuge from the dollar in euros were panicked out of their euros, and they rushed into dollars by purchasing US Treasury debt.
This movement from euros to dollars weakened the alternative reserve currency to the dollar, halted the dollar’s decline, and financed the massive US budget deficit a while longer.
Possibly the game can be replayed with Spanish debt, Irish debt, and whatever unlucky country swept in by the thoughtless expansion of the European Union.
But when no countries remain that can be destabilized by Wall Street investment banksters and hedge funds, what then finances the US budget deficit?
The only remaining financier is the Federal Reserve. When Treasury bonds brought to auction do not sell, the Federal Reserve must purchase them. The Federal Reserve purchases the bonds by creating new demand deposits, or checking accounts, for the Treasury. As the Treasury spends the proceeds of the new debt sales, the US money supply expands by the amount of the Federal Reserve’s purchase of Treasury debt.
Do goods and services expand by the same amount? Imports will increase as US jobs have been offshored and given to foreigners, thus worsening the trade deficit. When the Federal Reserve purchases the Treasury’s new debt issues, the money supply will increase by more than the supply of domestically produced goods and services. Prices are likely to rise.
How high will they rise? The longer money is created in order that government can pay its bills, the more likely hyperinflation will be the result.
The economy has not recovered. By the end of this year it will be obvious that the collapsing economy means a larger than $1.4 trillion budget deficit to finance. Will it be $2 trillion? Higher?
Whatever the size, the rest of the world will see that the dollar is being printed in such quantities that it cannot serve as reserve currency. At that point wholesale dumping of dollars will result as foreign central banks try to unload a worthless currency.
The collapse of the dollar will drive up the prices of imports and offshored goods on which Americans are dependent. Wal-Mart shoppers will think they have mistakenly gone into Neiman Marcus.
Domestic prices will also explode as a growing money supply chases the supply of goods and services still made in America by Americans.
The dollar as reserve currency cannot survive the conflagration. When the dollar goes the US cannot finance its trade deficit. Therefore, imports will fall sharply, thus adding to domestic inflation and, as the US is energy import-dependent, there will be transportation disruptions that will disrupt work and grocery store deliveries.
Panic will be the order of the day.
Will farms will be raided? Will those trapped in cities resort to riots and looting?
Is this the likely future that “our” government and “our patriotic” corporations have created for us?
To borrow from Lenin, “What can be done?”
Here is what can be done. The wars, which benefit no one but the military-security complex and Israel’s territorial expansion, can be immediately ended. This would reduce the US budget deficit by hundreds of billions of dollars per year. More hundreds of billions of dollars could be saved by cutting the rest of the military budget, which in its present size, exceeds the budgets of all the serious military powers on earth combined.
US military spending reflects the unaffordable and unattainable crazed neoconservative goal of US Empire and world hegemony. What fool in Washington thinks that China is going to finance US hegemony over China?
The only way that the US will again have an economy is by bringing back the offshored jobs. The loss of these jobs impoverished Americans while producing over-sized gains for Wall Street, shareholders, and corporate executives. These jobs can be brought home where they belong by taxing corporations according to where value is added to their product. If value is added to their goods and services in China, corporations would have a high tax rate. If value is added to their goods and services in the US, corporations would have a low tax rate.
This change in corporate taxation would offset the cheap foreign labor that has sucked jobs out of America, and it would rebuild the ladders of upward mobility that made America an opportunity society.
If the wars are not immediately stopped and the jobs brought back to America, the US is relegated to the trash bin of history.
Obviously, the corporations and Wall Street would use their financial power and campaign contributions to block any legislation that would reduce short-term earnings and bonuses by bringing jobs back to Americans. Americans have no greater enemies than Wall Street and the corporations and their prostitutes in Congress and the White House.
The neocons allied with Israel, who control both parties and much of the media, are strung out on the ecstasy of Empire.
The United States and the welfare of its 300 million people cannot be restored unless the neocons, Wall Street, the corporations, and their servile slaves in Congress and the White House can be defeated.
The case for a new discourse of genocide in our lands

The overarching goal of the “open borders” movement is to flood millions of non-Whites into all traditionally White nations. Make no mistake – this is not mere coincidence. It is White genocide by design, worldwide in application. The United States, Great Britain, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Australia: White people founded and populated these nations. All of these nations operated under the implicit mandate, if not explicit by law, that they existed as White nations for the posterity of the White founding stock. All of these nations had overwhelmingly White populations for the preponderance of their national history. Now, in the beginning of the twenty-first century, all of these traditionally White nations face demographic upheavals through massive non-White immigration. The White populations of these countries are slated to become minority populations in just a few generations.
Why is the push for unrestricted immigration focused so strongly and so specifically upon the traditionally White nations? Some say the traditionally White nations are economically advanced and therefore desirable destinations for immigration. This observation is mostly accurate. However, it does not explain the entire story because there are many other advanced nations that are traditionally non-White, yet face no pressure to absorb foreign populations.
Japan is one of the most highly advanced economies in the world. It is a well-known and well-documented fact that Japan faces a grave population decline. There are not enough young Japanese to assume the lower rungs of the workforce. The elderly Japanese population looms on the horizon, destined to strain the retirement and pension system. The Japanese reproductive rate is far below the replacement rate. Over time, Japan’s population will continue its precipitous descent. Under the orthodox globalist economic doctrine, Japan’s situation beckons for a massive influx of cheap foreign labor. Yet somehow the international political discourse barely broaches the topic of massive non-Japanese immigration to Japan. There is no strong international or domestic pressure (or imperious demand) for Japan to import millions of Africans or South Americans. Japan is not singled out for genocide via massive non-Japanese immigration. Japan is not the target. Japan is free to remain Japanese. It is only White nations that are targeted for genocide.
Egalitarians claim “the race problem” will disappear if the traditionally White nations assimilate and interbreed with non-White populations. Some imagine this will produce a utopia of brown-skinned beauties – society without race by homogeneous default. Others recognize this scenario as the systematic eradication of the White race – White genocide. To bolster the credibility of the latter position, put the shoe on the other foot.
Assume for the sake of argument that in a stunning reversal, political correctness dictates that Africans are racist oppressors. Africans disproportionately enjoy material niceties, unfairly subjugate other races, and an invisible “African privilege” pervades the air which mysteriously oppresses all other races. In this hypothetical world, institutional racism means that Africans are predisposed to success and worldly gain from birth, as a result of the current political power relationship. Now, follow the usual prescription for healing with plans for coercive diversity and watch the fireworks begin!
The continent of Africa can solve “the race problem” by a massive influx of non-Africans. These non-Africans will assimilate and interbreed with Africans over time. The end result will be a utopia of mocha-skinned beauties – society without race by homogeneous default. Everyone will hold hands in unity, hatred will be a thing of the past, and racial oppression will no longer be an option.
A sharp mind quickly realizes the solution to “the race problem” in the African example is actually the Final Solution for Africans. That is, the systematic eradication of the African people – African genocide. No rational Black man will agree with such a genocidal campaign. No reasonable Black man will stand by and cheer on the destruction of his or her fellow Africans. No race deserves genocide. Every race has the right to exist biologically, ethnically, and culturally.
International law defines genocide as an international crime against humanity, with grave punishment for violations. As far as the international recognition of the reality of race, ask the ghosts of Saddam Hussein or Wilhelm Frick if the Kurds or Jews, respectively, are mere social constructs. Race is an internationally-recognized reality and is a major factor in the crime of genocide. In the future, the political and economic elites that are responsible for the policies of White genocide may face trial before an international tribunal. The 1948 United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, Article II states:
In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group as such:
(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
The present immigration and political policies of many traditionally White nations, especially the United States, are in violation of part (c) and possibly part (d). White nations have been subverted to conditions that heavily favor non-White immigration, restrict White birthrates, and encourage and support non-White birthrates, and are thus calculated to bring about the physical destruction of the White race. There are many quotations of politicians, professors, and pundits advocating this very point – the end of the White race. Genocide is not always an act of traditional murder. The United Nations Convention on Genocide covers violent genocide with parts (a) and (b). However, the remaining definitions cover indirect and incremental methods to clarify that any form of genocide is punishable under international law.
The United States employed an explicitly pro-White immigration policy for the entirety of its two centuries of existence until the treasonous 1965 Immigration Act, which reversed this safeguard and subverted American immigration policy to discriminate against White Europeans in favor of non-White immigration. Prior to the 1965 Act, American immigration policy favored White European immigration to maintain the status quo of the American population. The behind-the-scenes architects of the 1965 Act realized that overwhelmingly non-White legal immigration would inevitably reduce the White American population over time. The political front men of the 1965 Act, such as Ted Kennedy, falsely assured the American public that the new immigration policy would not upset the racial balance of America. In 1965, America was approximately 89 percent White. Just a few generations later, America is around 65 percent White. In one more generation, White Americans will be a minority in their own country.
Illegal aliens create further demographic chaos, as White Americans are crowded out and out-bred by millions of mestizo illegal aliens from South America. Despite overwhelming public desire to seal the border and to deport and deny entry to illegal aliens, the federal government has willfully ignored its mandate to protect against all threats, foreign and domestic. Non-White legal immigrants and tens of millions of mestizo illegal alien invaders will dispossess the White American majority in the next few decades. White Americans will become a minority in their own nation.
Overwhelmingly non-White legal immigration and millions of non-White illegal aliens are inherently destructive to the White American population. Welfare and social benefit policies financially reward the generally poorer non-White groups for having large broods of children. Preferential hiring policies set aside jobs for non-Whites. Lax enforcement of employment law allows non-Whites to undercut the wages of educated White American citizens. The appalling aspect of these trends is that most of these policies, such as welfare, food stamps, and free emergency medical care, are predominantly financed by White American taxpayers. These White American taxpayers labor under conditions calculated to bring about their genocide as the progressive income tax discourages the most productive White Americans from having children.
Educated, self-reliant, and law-abiding White American taxpayers face the greatest disincentives to having large families. Instead, these White taxpayers work hard but are forced to financially support criminals, illegal aliens, and welfare abusers. The taxes paid by hardworking White citizens are transferred to illiterate illegal aliens to bankroll large broods of anchor babies that will produce an ever-increasing amount of welfare obligations and future criminals. The White American population dwindles while the non-White populations exponentially increase, further straining the welfare system, crowding prison cells, diluting educational standards, and destroying formerly safe White neighborhoods. White Americans face incremental genocide by design, which is precisely why so many fail to recognize the creeping trend. Genocide need not be associated with machetes, firing squads, or executions. The type of genocide White Americans face is far more subtle, which makes it all the more dangerous.
To deny White citizens of White nations the right to preserve themselves – biologically, ethnically, and culturally – is the true example of racism and hatred. Genocide is never acceptable. What can be more racist than the systematic eradication of an entire race? White Americans need not be ashamed of identifying on a racial basis, as every other race in America has a political license to do so. La Raza, the League of United Latino American Citizens, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, and the Anti-Defamation League of the B’nai B’rith are all bound by racial or ethnic ties.
White Americans are now approaching minority status in the nation their forefathers fought for and built from the ground up. If the current birthrates continue, White Americans will be a minority group in a few generations. White Americans must be free to object to the immigration policy of White genocide without being shouted down as “racists”, a term which has lost potency due to its use as a political tool to silence White advocacy. “Racist” is a thinly-veiled attempt to silence a person who wishes to protect his or her race from extinction – a person who opposes genocide. “Racist” is an empty slur meant to shut down debate, silence White people, and obfuscate the reality of White genocide.
White Americans must be free to describe racial injustices committed against White people. Introduce the term “anti-White” to mainstream political discourse in the only way possible – by starting with private conversation. The mainstream media attempts to mold public opinion, but when there is an seismic shift in American thought, the press has no choice but to bow to popular pressure. Demand an end to White genocide and anti-White policies.
White Americans have the same claims to identity, organization, advocacy, and existence as does any other group in America. Take a principled, adamant, and vocal stand against White genocide. Talk to neighbors and inform friends. Write letters to editors, television producers, media figures, and especially politicians. Let the muffled White voice clear its throat and speak up clearly and forcefully after decades of silence. Turn the tables and take back the moral high ground. The truth is dangerous, which is precisely why slurs like “racist” are currently used to shout down reasonable opposition to White genocide. Brush aside such denunciations, or better yet, mount the offense with a counterattack.
Anyone who opposes a return to traditional American immigration policies is pro-White genocide. Anyone who supports amnesty for tens of millions of illegal aliens is pro-White genocide. The current American immigration policy discriminates against White Europeans and is pro-White genocide. There is nothing more racist than genocide, because it is the destruction of an entire race. If someone shouts “racist!” in a petty attempt to silence debate, explain that a real racist is someone who wants to commit genocide against the White race. Stop White genocide one conversation, one talking point, one letter, one complaint, one comment, one remark, and one person at a time. Stay on a consistent message against White genocide.
The White race of the future, if there is to be one, will be grateful.
The American political arena and mainstream media is rigged against White American solidarity. Almost every single race or ethnicity has a political organization to serve its specific racial or ethnic interests. The glaring exception is a mainstream-credited or nationally-recognized political group dedicated to White American interests. There are groups dedicated to White advocacy, but they are invariably plagued by accusations of “extremism” or “hate” or “bigotry.”
The Preamble to the United States Constitution lists one of its purposes as to “secure the blessing of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.” Perhaps this explicit dedication to the interests of the White founding stock means that no White advocacy groups are needed. Maybe the explicit mandate of the Constitution demands the protection of liberty for the posterity of the White race, so White advocacy groups are superfluous. Until the middle of the twentieth century, this view might hold water. In light of the onslaught of anti-White propaganda, legislation, indoctrination, and social policy that has since followed, this explanation is a recipe for White political suicide.
Under oppressive legislation, a hostile media, and an anti-White educational system, the interests of White people have been subverted in favor of a cacophony of minority voices, all of which are alien to the original aims of the Founding Fathers. White Americans can no longer rest assured that the Constitution means what it says, or that the United States exists to preserve the interests of its White founding stock and their progeny. Instead, White Americans must organize specifically and purposefully on racial grounds, realizing that all other groups are slowly destroying each liberty and privilege that White Americans used to take for granted.
White Americans have no choice but to participate in racial identity politics. If White Americans remain unorganized and without a unified voice of advocacy, they will eventually succumb to being nothing more than demoralized tax-producers for the growing entitlement class. Even worse, White Americans will face a perfect storm of skyrocketing entitlements, smoldering racial grievances, and violent uprisings emanating from the non-White racial groups. This will not be a safe or secure future for White Americans. Look to the fates of Whites in the formerly productive countries of South Africa or Zimbabwe for examples of what happens when Whites are subject to a ruling majority of non-Whites. South Africa used to be the jewel of Africa. Rhodesia (the predecessor to the failed state of Zimbabwe) was the breadbasket of Africa, exporting food to its neighbors. Now, South Africa and Zimbabwe are the rape and murder capitols of the world, and Zimbabwe cannot even feed itself, let alone its neighbors. More than five thousand Whites have been murdered since the transition to a black government in South Africa, and the numbers of rapes and robberies are too many to accurately list. American Whites need to take decisive and organized political action before they become a hated minority in their own nation.
Latinos, Hispanics, and mestizos– whatever the gatekeepers of morality decide to call them– are free to organize, protest, and advance political goals strictly on the basis of race or ethnicity. Consider some of the mission statements of these advocacy groups: The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is busy “[a]dvancing the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, health, and civil rights of the Hispanic population in the United States.” The National Council of La Raza “is the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States” and “works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans.” Note that the translation of “la raza” into English is “the race.”
Jews are free to advocate specifically and exclusively for other Jewish people. Among other goals, the Anti-Defamation League “defends the security of Israel and Jews worldwide.” The American Jewish Congress is “organized to defend Jewish interests at home and abroad through public policy advocacy– using diplomacy, legislation and the courts.” Similarly, Asians are free to rally around race. The Asian American Justice Center exists “to advance civil and human rights for Asian Americans.” Blacks have a multitude of race-based advocacy groups. A special group for black practitioners exists for almost every professional occupation. Furthermore, the Congressional Black Caucus exists as an exclusively black organization and is comprised of exclusively black Congressmen advancing exclusively black interests.
In fact, all “people of color” (meaning all non-White people) have an implicit license to politically organize according to racial identity. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) states: “The NAACP’s principal objective is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of minority group citizens of United States.” Blacks, Jews, Asians, Hispanics, “people of color”– all of these groups advocate and organize on the basis of race or ethnicity. Yet White Americans may do no such thing without an onslaught of defamatory remarks, negative press coverage, and accusations of “hate” or “extremism.”
The knee-jerk negative reaction to a White identity organization is not natural. Suspicion regarding an explicitly White political group is the product of intense conditioning from a very young age. The origin and methodology of this conditioning is too complicated to adequately explain herein, but much of it stems from public education, globalist elites, and the corporate media. In short, from a very young age, White Americans are taught that love and admiration for the race and ethnicity of non-Whites is a healthy and sociable trait, but love and admiration for Whites by Whites is strictly forbidden. White Americans are conditioned to scorn their own heritage and to fawn over all other races. According to the ruling orthodoxy, admiration of non-Whites is tolerance and love but admiration of Whites is hate and bigotry.
No other group in America is taught or conditioned to have the same amount of self-sacrificial aims or self-loathing emotions. In fact, most other ethnic groups are encouraged to have a deep and profound sense of heritage and ethnic identity. Perversely, Whites are expected to enthusiastically jump on the non-White bandwagon while abandoning their own families. Whites must celebrate the achievements of every other race and ethnicity. Only Whites are forbidden from celebrating their own extended family, heritage, and history. Any sense of pride or identity stemming from a genetic origin must only be experienced vicariously for White Americans. An entire month has been dedicated to a celebration of the contributions to high culture, technology, art, philosophy, and civilization produced by black Americans. If someone protests that an entire month seems like immense favoritism towards blacks, then calls of “racism” are certain. Any opposition to the politically correct viewpoint is met with swift “justice” and the punishment is summary social execution.
The mere accusation of “racism” is enough to ruin a career, sink a political campaign, cancel an entertainment show, or alienate an individual. Perhaps this is a better explanation for the dearth of White political groups. Most of the nonsensical “truths” that modern Americans are forced to swallow are nothing more than shibboleths. If the shibboleth is met with anything other than the proper response, the “outsider” has been successfully identified, and swift countermeasures will be undertaken.
Instead of American spies inside Germany’s Third Reich being discovered by holding up the pointer, middle, and ring fingers to signify the number three, American citizens within the border are identified as racist outcasts by merely questioning the dubious notion that “diversity is our greatest strength.” Instead of asking a gringo to pronounce a Spanish word with a rolling ‘r’, ask the sociology professor who is up for tenure about her thoughts about the long-term viability of an increasingly diverse America. She had better work on her “accent” and toe the party line if she wants to have a successful academic career. Otherwise, she may infect future legions with the disease of critical thought, healthy dissent, or individuality. Heaven forbid, she may even fail in her greatest duty– to indoctrinate her pupils with the glorious fonts of wisdom which are Political Correctness and Tolerance for Diversity. Joseph Goebbels would be proud of this efficient method for political cleansing. A Soviet apparatchik would shriek with joy at the simplicity of this plan for purging the undesirables from the New Plan for Humanity.
As non-White Americans are free to create political organizations for the sole purpose of advancing the interests of a specific ethnicity, and White Americans are forbidden to do so, non-Whites enjoy fundamental rights and benefits which are denied to Whites. The logical implications of these thoughts and observations are non-controversial, but the act of drawing attention to it is definitely controversial. It might even be . . . “racist.”
As White Americans are prevented from organizing, thinking, or acting in a unified manner, and yet all other non-White groups are permitted and encouraged to do so, White Americans are at a distinct political disadvantage. Social pressure, media influence, legislation, and educational indoctrination combine to influence Whites against organizing or even thinking on the basis of race. This injustice must not stand. White Americans must organize to advance their own interests or they will fade into a dispossessed minority in the nation their forefathers carved from the unforgiving wilderness. White Americans must regain the political power they have implicitly relinquished. White Americans need not fear their own shadows any longer. Instead, White Americans must take back the reins and restore the conditions that made the United States of America into an exemplary society and a first-rate civilization.

How the U.S. is headed for a complete societal collapse! The most important film of all time!
(Editor’s Note: WOW! This is a scary movie…just a day after it was released on the all-time scary holiday. But make no mistake…NIA has nailed this topic. They have been 100% spot on with their predictions sofar. You will ignore the warnings here at your own peril.)
In my prior article I made reference to the “…religious nature of the Secular Humanism…” that fuels the emotional fervor of the disparate social elements that one might broadly classify as the Left. This is actually a misuse of the term and I should begin this article by correcting myself and acknowledging that I am referring instead to the pastiche of incongruent ideological, moral, cultural, and political elements that should more rightly be defined as Egalitarianism. I posit—and I am not the first to do so— that Egalitarianism is indeed the regnant religion of this era. It is important to grasp that it is, indeed, a religion in order to best understand it and its followers; to comprehend the danger inherent in it; to possibly identify any weaknesses that may be exploited; and to predict its progression through the organic and finite life of such belief systems. I shall begin by establishing the case that Egalitarianism is, indeed, the state religion for the West.
What is Egalitarianism? There is no use in trying to define it as some cogent and definable set of beliefs. It is rather a tumor in the mind of the collective body of Western man, diffuse at the extremities and interconnected with an infinite number of outlying elements—some of which, ironically enough, are actually shared with various elements of Rightist thought. However, the center of the tumor is thick with notions of the overarching equality of men, the outright rejection of even the possibility of natural differences between human populations, convictions of the inherent evil of Whites and especially of white men, sentiments of the moral superiority of colored races and of women, support for the uses of state power to correct inequality wherever it may be found—as its presence can only be the result of the abuses of appropriately colored or sexually oriented groups by the aforementioned white, heterosexual men, conviction in the unquestionable good of “freedom” and “democracy,” the importance of tolerance and cultural relativism, and lastly, the firm belief in Progress and the perfectibility of the temporal world. The logical incongruities obvious to even the casual reader between most of these notions—e.g. the idea that all races can at once be completely equal, while at the same time, Whites can be more evil than the others—do not hinder the true believer in the least. Indeed, the faith in these principles; regardless of their inability to coexist in a coherent philosophy, is one of the first indicators of the religious nature of this system of beliefs.
To a significant extent these beliefs—most particularly the notions of the unquestionable equality of man and of the original sin (of the White man in this case)—are ironically inherited from the Christian religion that is to no small degree despised by the modern, secular Egalitarian. It could in fairness be said that modern, secular Egalitarianism is in fact the transmogrification of Christianity into a religion that is now true to its theoretical principles to an extreme degree but that is now paradoxically devoid of its deity in the supernatural sense, the male God-figure having been killed off. What has replaced Him within the context of the religion in question is not entirely clear to me. But certainly one can identify Christ-figures such as the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and elements of religious taboo.
Regarding the former, note that the dear reverend is the only man for whom a National Holiday exists in the United States. And this at a time when Easter (the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ) and Christmas (His birth) are themselves becoming completely devoid of acceptable, public religious meaning. With regard to Easter—ostensibly the most important Christian Holiday period—this process is essentially complete. With regard to Christmas, the process has reached such a level of maturity that in many cities of the United States, references to the Tannenbaum as a “Christmas tree” are considered gauche. Anyone who still doubts whether Christianity has been replaced as the State religion of the West need only ask himself one question: Is it more socially acceptable in today’s polite society to be a Satan worshipper or a racist? Marilyn Manson does an entertaining job of pretending to be the former. It would be interesting to see how many albums he would be allowed to sell if he pretended to be the latter.
An excellent example of Egalitarian religious taboo is the use of the word “nigger.” Today, even writing the word in its entirety is largely unacceptable in polite company. To use the word within any context, in written or verbal form, is almost wholly circumscribed for anyone except Blacks. Instead, conventional mores demand that non-Blacks only obliquely refer to it by writing “the n-word”, “n****r”, etc. Even in these cases, it cannot be used in reference to anything but rather, only used as a subject of a sentence (that must universally condemn the use of the n-word). The search for a comparable example in human history of a word that could not be written or spoken produces only two examples that I am aware of: The first being the Hebraic notion that direct reference to God (rather “G-D” or “Y-W-H”) was blasphemous. The second being the bourgeois sensibility to language deemed vulgar, base, and overly sexual (pregnant with late Christian moral repressiveness). The former is only held true by religious Jews today. The latter has completely fallen out of practice, with the possible exception of television programming for infants. Instead we see a complete replacement of the list of “unacceptable” words, which is a prime illustration of the collapse and disempowerment of the White, Protestant bourgeois who dominated the Anglosphere until the 1950s and the subsequent ascendance of the new, morally-empowered overclass, who now see fit to create their own list of vulgar terms, complete with their own pseudo-religious, moral justifications. That terms like “nigger” were used broadly in society up until very recently and overwhelmingly without ill intent or effect is irrelevant to the architects of modern, egalitarian moral constructs.
At this point it is useful to address the nature of Egalitarianism as the State religion of the West. Here one might be ascribing too much power to the State—or rather, suggesting simplistically that the State: the supreme public power of a political entity, is indeed the primary power in the West. It would be more accurate to argue that the State in the various “democracies” of the West is in reality an executive body, carrying out the wishes of the true, private and corporate powers that use the convenient illusions of public consent offered by universal suffrage as a foil. So let us modify the implication here and suggest that Egalitarianism is the religion imposed via the State and other, opinion-forming and population-controlling entities upon the people of the West; as yet another instrument in furthering the dissolution of the “European” West. Regardless, for the true believers in this religion and for the remainder of the populace who live under its moral force, the difference is irrelevant.
This leads to another interesting subject, which illustrates Egalitarianism’s religious nature: the attitude of the new priestly class and the true believers with regard to heretics. For a belief system for which tolerance is a highest virtue, there is remarkably little tolerance for views outside its narrow, but chaotic and unpredictable, purview. One can acknowledge simply that this intolerance is indeed a manifestation of religiosity—specifically the religiosity of Semitic monotheism as embodied in Judaism, Christianity, Islam—and its polar interpretation of the world, divided into black and white, good and evil, and nothing in between. However, it is also of use to examine some specific aspects of the particular intolerance of Egalitarianism, because unlike the aforementioned Semitic religions, which were religions that marked or accompanied the ascendance of civilizations, Egalitarianism is a religion of descent. Not for the architects of the religion—but for its priests and true believers. Of course, they do not believe it to be the late religion of Spenglerian theory. Rather, they believe it to be the final religion at the end of history—leading to the ascent to earthly utopia. The religion that shows the way to the perfected, temporal human condition: the absence of poverty, suffering, and unhappiness for all people on Earth.
The shrill, inchoate hatred that infuses the attitude of the priests and true believers of Egalitarianism toward non-believers is a manifestation of the absolute incompatibility between these beliefs and the state of the world as it is. Egalitarian belief is indeed the belief in inconsistent ideals that not only conflict with one another, but that conflict with all empirical evidence before one’s eyes and all human instinct. Egalitarianism is a fragile, cracked and shifting skin of ice covering a turbulent, madly-rushing river of cold fact beneath it. It is only through passion and frenzied conviction that this cognitive dissonance can be mastered. Anyone who threatens this tender balance is to be hated. It is akin to the teenager who reacts in an overly angry and passionate manner to gentle criticisms of his father. The teenager’s belief system, still in its infancy, is easily threatened by the wisdom of the father. The child therefore prefers to avoid the discussion altogether; lest his unformed ideas come to humiliation in the debate.
The irrational reaction of the Egalitarian can be better understood when one considers what is at stake. The Egalitarian has committed his entire culture and civilization to a gamble. Every previous example in all of human history suggests very clearly how this gamble will pay out. The Egalitarian believes it will be different this time. He feels it will be different this time. It will be different this time because he believes it and feels it, and because he knows that if everyone works together to make it different, it can be. But there are some out there who are doubters. There are some out there who think it won’t be different this time… gun-owners, opponents of immigration, survivalists, etc. There are some out there whose lack of conviction and lack of optimism are in and of themselves the seeds of failure. This is why they must be hated. This is why they must be silenced. This is why—as examples from Egalitarian paradises clearly illustrate—they must often be killed.

Most of the wars between the nations of Medieval Europe were limited wars in which knights fought knights and generally left the peasants alone. Those wars were limited because their objective was to extend one king’s lands and tax base at the expense of another king. In other words, they were economic wars in which the peasant class was considered to be part of the valuable property being fought over. The king whose army was advancing and winning did not want to kill off his hard-won assets.
Race wars are total wars, always. There is no honorable restraint in the fighting, such as that between nations in Medieval Europe. A race war aims at securing land and resources for a people grown aware of their biological similarity and with the kinship which that similarity implies. There can be no trace of the opposing side left alive within the territorial boundaries because such a remnant would renew the conflict when they became more numerous and able to wage war again.
Soldiers engaged in race war will rape, torture, and kill the enemy’s women, children, and little babies. There is none of this Golden Rule thinking. One race will win and gain the land; one race will lose and perish utterly, unless they flee first.
Black “criminals” already do with such things with the Whites victims who fall into their clutches. We call them criminals; they are really the vanguard troops of the enemy forces. Any limitation on their ruthlessness isn’t based in chivalry, but rather in fear of provoking an effective counterattack—a possibility even today. As the threat of counterattack becomes less creditable, the predation of non-Whites on Whites will intensify proportionately.
Dismal as they are, those are the rules. Man did not write them; nature did. The necessity of engaging in total war is simply that the enemy has been, is, and will continue to engage in total war against us. That necessity arose because of the liberal belief in racial equality and the liberal sentiment of universal human brotherhood. Let’s never make those mistakes again, assuming that we survive the catastrophic consequences of making them this time.
The Black “reverends” who wield so much influence over rioting niggers occupy a position analogous to that of commanding generals. The street nigger recognizes that the Black “reverend” does not really mean what his words say. When the Black “reverend” holds up his arms and preaches brotherhood, the street nigger understands it to be a signal for a temporary cessation of violence to allow the Jewish media time to brainwash the Whites into placidity again.
When the time comes for another riot or for another vicious wave of anti-White crime, the “reverends” will signify it by speaking more loudly than usual about White racism. Then will come another period of niggers invading the homes of Whites to rob, rape and kill. Then will come more Black riots in American cities. Then will more White teenagers be shot in the head on a snow-covered soccer field. Then will more White women be snatched off bicycles or out of cars, taken to a motel, raped, skinned alive, and drowned in a tub of bleach.
The only race not engaged in total war, to the extent they might dare, are Whites. The reason for the White failure to compete as their non-White opponents are competing is Jewish brainwashing, carried on by every major outlet of the mass media. The brainwashing induces internal divisions based on varying degrees with which Whites are insulated from the realities of racial competition. The more insulated Whites are generally more liberal, at least in their racial views. The greater is the familiarity of Whites with non-Whites, the less liberal (on race) they are.
As is typical in “democratic” societies, ignorance swamps wisdom and thereby hobbles efforts for an effective collective defense. The more liberal Whites ensure that their more sensible “racist” brothers can’t defend themselves without facing retaliation from White police officers and from ambitious White lawyers and judges.
If White people don’t kick the habit of interfering with each other’s survival tactics, the White race will become extinct. The enemy, seeing clearly what must be done to us, with a will to do those things to us, will vanquish us, unless we develop a racial consciousness that is at least the equal of that which our opponents have. We must learn to accept, and to practice, total war. Being Whites, we will never enjoy it. Like it or not, though, our survival depends on our employing it.
The White lawyer must never defend a nigger, no matter how green his money is. The White preacher must never declare that the negro is our equal in the sight of God. The White judge must understand that only Whites are citizens of the United States because the 14th Amendment is fraudulent, hence null and void. The White teacher must refuse to teach Blacks. The White school bus driver must leave Spics at the bus stop. The White policeman must shoot his gun into the crowd of rioting niggers with every intention of killing every rioting nigger. Total war. It’s the only option left.

The folks who are getting free stuff, don’t like the folks who are paying for the free stuff, because the folks who are paying for the free stuff, can no longer afford to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff. And, the folks who are paying for the free stuff, want the free stuff to stop. And the folks who are getting the free stuff, want even MORE free stuff on top of the free stuff they’re already getting!
Now, the people who are forcing the people who PAY for the free stuff, have told the people who are RECEIVING the free stuff, that the people who are PAYING for the free stuff, are being mean, prejudiced, and racist. So, the people who are GETTING the free stuff, have been convinced they need to HATE the people who are PAYING for the free stuff by the people who are forcing the people who are PAYING for the free stuff and GIVING them the free stuff in the first place.
We are seeing the political class-warfare and race-warfare rhetoric heating up to a god-awful degree. And it’s being fomented by elected Representatives of the United States Congress — and the President, of course, months and months ago, started this process with his “get in their faces” instructions to his legions. You know, this guy:
That should let you know two things:
1. This divisive government-sponsored rhetoric is REALLY HAPPENING. It is not tinfoil conspiracy stuff or SHTF-masturbatory fantasy.
2. The federal government is beyond the “gloves are off” stage; it has taken its gloves off and is poking the Tea Party in the chest.
I have started a Tea Party group in my neck of the woods to try to push back via the legitimate political system, by applying legitimate nonviolent political pressure on elected representatives. But I wonder more and more if it is merely rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, and whether my efforts are better spent on cardio and FM 7-70 in preparation for defending against a coming violent political arena.
ADDITIONAL DATA POINTS: We had Hurricane Irene hit central Virginia this weekend. Not much damage here other than the power out and some trees down (none in our yard, thankfully). But there were two interesting data points to take away:
1. Where the stoplights were out, we’re supposed to treat it as a four-way stop. Hell, I remember that from driver’s education class in the mid-1980s. Apparently I was the only person who remembered that; most of the intersections operated according to Road Warrior rules of the road that said “road with most lanes has right of way, followed by biggest truck, followed by those with the attitude to say ‘screw you, I’m going through.’” Not a good commentary on how people behave when the rules aren’t in place. If we cannot count on folks to obey one traffic law on how to treat a dead traffic signal, how can we count on them to not steal or rat out neighbors who have food/generator/firearms?
2. A neighbor who works in public safety was at his post near the projects during the hurricane. According to him, once the power was out, the Free Stuff Army in the projects quickly figured out that alarm systems wouldn’t work, so they looted the convenience stores, bypassing the D-cell batteries for alcohol. Then, after a mere 24 hours of no power and no A/C, the FSA started chanting “WE WANT POWER!” and lit trash cans and a vehicle on fire. Then, some of them approached the local fire station to demand D-cell batteries and ice, and were genuinely dumbfounded that the fire station was not there to hand out freebies. If those folks are that ignorant of how to prepare for crisis, they will be easily recruited into a Reparations Army to come for your stuff.

One point that is particularly noteworthy is this bit:
Got faith? There may or may not be a God, but it’s a fact that there’s a congregation in the corner Church on Sunday. Consider that if the Zombie Apocalypse comes knocking your local faith community may be the best option for mutually-arranged self-defense, the patching of any holes that might get made in places you’d rather not have them, and the provision of basic human needs, including most-particularly something hot to put down the pie hole. Is faith practical? You decide, and consider this along with the following indisputable fact: Once you know for sure if there’s a God it’s too late to change your mind.
The real point is not faith, but community. You see, if we as law-abiding Patriots find ourselves at odds with the government or its supports, you can be assured of one thing: The government, the law enforcement bodies, the media, the politicians and political elite, the pundits, and the sheep will all be aligned against YOU if you try to defend yourself against the feral sapiens of the Free Stuff Army. The only people on your side will be the community ties and networks that you have built.
Let me emphasize that again: That YOU have built. Nobody will do it for you — but there are plenty of like-minded folks if you are looking.
Since the overwhelming majority of westerners are sleeping in the matrix of political correctness, the white revolution is predicated on the forthcoming catastrophe that may awaken the millions rather abruptly. Michael O’Meara’s 2005 essay-review, The Widening Gyre: Guillaume Corvus’ La convergence des catastrophes, originally published at National Vanguard, is worth revisiting.
Nearly three hundred years ago, the early scientistic stirrings of liberal modernity introduced the notion that life is like a clock: measurable, mechanical, and amenable to rationalist manipulation. This modernist notion sought to supplant the traditional one, which for millennia held that life is organic, cyclical, and subject to forces eluding mathematical or quantifiable expression. In this earlier view, human life was understood in terms of other life forms, being thus an endless succession of seasons, as birth, growth, decay, and death followed one another in an order conditioned by nature.
That history is cyclical, that civilizations rise and fall, that the present system will be no exception to this rule—these notions too are of ancient lineage and, though recognized by none in power, their pertinence seems to grow with each new regression of the European biosphere. With Corvus’ Convergence des catastrophes, they assume again something of their former authority.
“For the first time in its history,” Corvus writes, “humanity is threatened by a convergence of catastrophes.” This is his way of saying that the 18th-century myth of progress—in dismissing every tradition and value distinct to Europe—is about to be overtaken by more primordial truths, as it becomes irrefutable evident that continued economic development creates ecological havoc; that a world system premised on short-term speculation and financial manipulation is a recipe for disaster; that beliefs in equality, individualism, and universalism are fit only for a social jungle; that multiculturalism and Third World immigration vitiate rather than re-vitalize the European homelands; that the extension of so-called republican and democratic principles suppress rather than supplant the popular will, etc.
In a word, Corvus argues that the West, led by the United States, is preparing its own irreversible demise.
Though Convergence des catastrophes takes its inspiration from the distant reaches of the European heritage, its actual theoretical formulation is of recent origin. With reference to the work of French mathematician René Thom, it first appeared in Guillaume Faye’s L’archéofuturisme (Paris: L’aencre, 1998), arguably the most important work of the “new European nationalism.” Indeed, those familiar with his style and sentiments are likely to suspect that “Corvus” is Faye himself.
Anticipating today’s “chaos theory,” Thom’s “catastrophe theory” endeavored to map those situations in which gradually changing circumstances culminate in abrupt systemic failure. Among its non-scientific uses, the theory aimed at explaining why relatively smooth changes in stock markets often lead to sudden crashes, why minor disturbances among quiescent populations unexpectedly explode into major social upheavals, or why the Soviet Union, which seemed to be surpassing the United States in the 1970s, fell apart in the 1980s.
Implicit in Thom’s catastrophe theory is the assumption that all systems—biological, mechanical, human—are “fragile,” with the potential for collapse. Thus, while a system might prove capable of enormous expansion and growth, even when sustaining internal crises for extended periods, it can, as Thom explains, suddenly unravel if it fails to adapt to changing circumstances, loses its equilibrium, or develops “negative feedback loops” that compound existing strains.
For Corvus—or Faye—the liberal collapse, the tipping point, looks as if it will occur sometime between 2010 and 2020, when the confluence of several gradually mounting internal failures culminate in something more apocalyptic. Though the actual details and date of the impending collapse are, of course, unpredictable, this, he argues, makes it no less certain. And though its effects will be terrible, resulting in perhaps billions of dead, the chaos and violence it promises will nevertheless prepare the way for a return to more enduring truths.
What is this system threatening collapse and what are the forces provoking it? Simply put, it is the techno-economic system born of 18th-century liberalism—whose principal exemplar has been the United States and Europe, but whose global impetus now holds most of the world in its grip.
Faye’s work does not, however, focus on the system per se. There is already a large literature devoted to it and, in several earlier works, he has examined it at length. The emphasis in Convergence des catastrophes is on delineating the principal fault lines along which collapse is likely to occur. For the globalization of liberal socioeconomic forms, he argues, now locks all the world’s peoples into a single complex planetary system whose fragility increases as it becomes increasingly interdependent. Though it is difficult to isolate the catastrophes threatening it (for they overlap with and feed off one another), he believes they will take the following forms:
1. The cancerization of the social fabric that comes when an aging European population is deprived of its virile, self-confident traditions; when drug use, permissiveness, and family decline become the norm; when a dysfunctional education system no longer transmits the European heritage; when the Culture Industry fosters mass cretinization; when the Third World consolidates its invasion of the European homelands; and, finally, when the enfeebling effects of these tendencies take their toll on all the other realms of European life.
2. The worsening social conditions accompanying these tendencies, he predicts, will be exacerbated by an economic crisis (or crises) born of massive indebtedness, speculation, non-regulation, corruption, interdependence, and financial malpractices whose global ramifications promise a “correction” more extreme than that of the 1930s.
3. These social and economic upheavals are likely to be compounded by ecological devastation and radical climatic shifts that accelerate deforestation and desiccation, disrupt food supplies, spread famine and disease, deplete natural resources (oil, along with land and water), and highlight the unsustainability of the world’s present overpopulation.
4. The scarcity and disorders these man-made disasters bring will not only provoke violent conflicts, but cause the already discredited state to experience increased paralysis, enhancing thus the prospect of global chaos, especially as it takes the form of strife between a cosmopolitan North and an Islamic South.
These catastrophes, Faye argues, are rooted in practices native to liberal modernity. For the globalization of Western civilizational forms, particularly American-style consumerism, has created a latently chaotic situation, given that its hyper-technological, interconnected world system, dependent on international trade, driven by speculators, and indifferent to virtually every non-economic consideration, is vulnerable to a diverse range of malfunctions. Its pathological effects have indeed already begun to reach their physical limit. For once the billion-plus populations of India and China, already well embarked on the industrializing process, start mass-producing cars, the system will simply become unfit for human habitation. The resource depletion and environmental degradation that will follow are, though, only one of the system’s tipping points.
No less seriously, the globalizing process creates a situation in which minor, local disputes assume planetary significance, as conflicts in remote parts of the world are imposed on the more advanced parts, and vice versa. (“The 9/11 killers were over here,” Pat Buchanan writes, “because we were over there.”)
In effect, America’s Empire of Disorder is no longer restricted to the periphery, but now threatens the metropolis. Indeed, each new advance in globalization tends to diminish the frontier between external and internal wars, just as American sponsored globalization provokes the terrorism it ostensively resists. The cascading implication of these developments have, in fact, become strikingly evident. For instance, if one of the hijacked Boeings of 9/11 had not been shot down over Pennsylvania and instead reached Three-Mile Island, the entire Washington-New York area would have been turned into a mega-Chernobyl—destroying the US economy, as well as the global order dependent on it. A miniature nuke smuggled into an East Coast port by any of the ethnic gangs specializing in illegal shipments would have a similar effect.
Revealingly, speculation on such doomsday scenarios is now seen as fully plausible.
But even barring a dramatic act of violence, catastrophe looms in all the system’s domain’s, for it is as much threatened by its own entropy (in the form of social-racial disorder, economic crisis, and ecological degradation), as it is by more frontal assaults.
This is especially the case with the global economy, whose short-term casino mentality refuses the slightest accountability. Accordingly, its movers and shakers think nothing of casting their fate to fickle stock markets, running up bankrupting debts, issuing fiat credit, fostering a materialistic culture of unbridled consumption, undermining industrial values, encouraging outsourcing, de-industrialization, and wage cutting, just as they remain impervious to the ethnocidal effects of international labor markets and the growing criminality of corporate practices.
Such irresponsible behaviors are, in fact, simply another symptom of the impending crisis, for the system’s thinkers and leaders are no longer able to distinguish between reality and their virtualist representation of it, let alone acknowledge the folly of their practices.
Obsessed with promoting the power and privileges sustaining their crassly materialist way of life and the progressive, egalitarian, and multicultural principles undergirding the global market, they see the world only in ways they are programmed to see it.
The ensuing “reality gap” deprives them, then, of the capacity both to adapt to changing circumstances or address the problems threatening the system’s operability. (The way the Bush White House gathers and interprets “intelligence,” accepting only that which accords with its ideological needs, is perhaps the best example of this).
In this spirit, the system’s leaders tirelessly ensure us that everything is getting better, that new techniques will overcome the problems generated by technology, that unbridled materialism and self-gratification have no costs, that cultural nihilism is a form of liberation, that the problems caused by climatic changes, environmental degradation, overpopulation, and shrinking energy reserves will be solved by extending and augmenting the practices responsible for them.
These dysfunctional practices are indeed pursued as if they are crucial to the system’s self-legitimacy. Thus, at the very moment when the system’s self-corrective mechanisms have been marginalized and the downhill slide has become increasingly immune to correction, the charlatans, schemers, and careerists in charge persist in propagating the belief that everything is “hunky-dory.”
Karl Marx spilt a great deal of ink lambasting ideologues who thought capitalism arose from natural principles, that all hitherto existing societies had preordained the market’s triumph, or that a social order subordinate to economic imperatives represented the highest stage of human achievement.
Today, the “new global bourgeoisie” gives its euronationalist critics even greater cause for ridicule. Paralyzed by an ideology that bathes itself in optimistic bromides, the system’s rulers “see nothing and understand nothing,” assuming that the existing order, in guaranteeing their careers, is a paragon of civilizational achievement, that the 20,000 automobiles firebombed every year in France by Muslim gangs is not sign of impending race war, that the non-white hordes ethnically cleansing European neighborhoods will eventually be turned into peaceful, productive citizens, that the Middle East will democratize, that the spread of human rights, free-markets, and new technologies will culminate in a consumer paradise, that limitless consumption is possible and desirable, that everyone, in effect, can have it all.
Nothing, Faye argues, can halt the system’s advance toward the abyss.
The point of no return has, indeed, already been passed. Fifteen years of above average temperatures, growing greenhouse gases, melting ice caps, conspicuous biological deterioration, and the imminent peaking of oil reserves, combined with an uncontrolled Third World demographic boom, massive First World indebtedness, social policies undermining the state’s monopoly on our loyalties, and a dangerous geopolitical realignment—each of these potentially catastrophic developments is preparing the basis of the impending collapse.
Those who think a last minute international agreement will somehow save the day simply whistle pass the graveyard. Washington’s attitude (even more pig-headed than Beijing’s) to the modest Kyoto Accords—which would have slowed down, not halted greenhouse emissions—is just one of the many signs that the infernal machine cannot be halted.
The existing states and international organizations are, in any case, powerless to do anything, especially the sclerotic “democracies” of Europe and United States, for their corrupt, short-sighted leaders have not the slightest understanding of what is happening under their very noses, let alone the will to take decisive action against it. Besides, they would rather subsidize bilingual education and Gay Pride parades (or, on the conservative side, ban Darwin) than carry out structural reforms that might address some of their more glaring failures. For such a system, the sole solution, Faye insists, is catastrophe.
The ecological, economic, demographic, social, civilizational, and geopolitical cataclysms now in the process of converging will bring about the collapse of liberalism’s technoeconomic civilization. In one of the most striking parts of his book, Faye juxtaposes two very different TV images to illustrate the nature of the present predicament: one is of a troubled President Bush, whose Forrest Gump antics left him noticeably perplexed on 9/11; the other is of the traditionally-dressed, but Kalashinokov-bearing Bin Laden, posing as a new Mohammed, calmly and confidently proclaiming the inevitable victory of his rag-tag jihadists.
These two images—symbolizing the archaic violence that promises to disturb the narcoticized sleep of a sickened modernity—sum up for Faye the kind of world in which we live, especially in suggesting that the future belongs to militant traditionalists rooted in their ancestral heritage, rather than high-tech, neo-liberal “wimps” like Bush, who are alienated from the most elementary expressions of Europe’s incomparable legacy.
Though rejecting liberalism’s monstrous perversion of European life, Faye does so not as a New Age Luddite or a left-wing environmentalist. He argues that a technoeconomic civilization based on universalist and egalitarian principles is a loathsome abnormality—destructive of future generations and past accomplishments.
But while rejecting its technological, bureaucratic, cosmopolitan, and anti-white practices, he fully accepts modern science. He simply states the obvious: that the great technological and economic accomplishments of Europe cannot be extended to the world’s six billion people—let alone tomorrow’s ten billion—without fatal consequence. For this reason, he predicts that science and industry in a post-catastrophe world will have no choice but to change, becoming the province of a small elite, not the liberal farce that attempts to transform all the world’s peoples into American-style consumers.
Similarly, Faye does not propose a restoration of lost forms, but rather the revitalization of those ancient spirits which might enable our children to engage the future with the confidence and daring of their ancestors. Thus, as befits a work of prophecy, Faye’s survey of the impending tempests aims at preparing us for what is to come, when the high flood waters and hurricane winds clear away the system’s ethnocidal illusions and create the occasion for another resurgence of European being. It aims, in a word, at helping Europeans to resume the epic course of their history.
On a freezing day in late November 1913, an indigent with a sorrow-etched face and no topcoat was ejected in a wilderness area from a train headed from Estonia to Warsaw. He had no ticket, for he could not afford one. An eighth child of a dirt-poor Estonian peasant, the outcast was on his way to claim the throne of Poland to which he was convinced he was the rightful heir.
Juhan Liiv, for that was the madman’s name, walked back home through the Baltic swamps and woodlands in the sub-zero frost of the harsh northern winter. It took several days (1) and must have been a major ordeal, for he had a weak and sickly constitution. As a great lover of Estonia’s soil and soul, to ease the misery perhaps he was humming a little poem he’d written in 1905 about a bee heading back home: “It Flies Toward the Beehive” (Ta lendab mesipuu poole).
By the time Liiv reached shelter at his brother’s rural house, he was ready to die. Which he did, destitute, lonely and mentally ill, on December 1, 1913.
Hardly anyone knew or cared; since childhood, Liiv’s sensitivity and fragile mental state evoked little more than teasing from his peers. He had had one love, but penury, fragile health and mental imbalance, of which he was aware, forced him to shy away from the woman in order to love her penumbra from afar, in letters and poems.
Born in 1864 in a hut and only two generations removed from serfdom, Juhan Liiv had worked for a while as a provincial journalist, but continuous ill health forced him to retire to a life of solitary brooding and poverty from the time he was 28. He wrote some short stories, of which one was published in his lifetime. By 1894, his schizophrenia led to an internment in an asylum in Tartu. Released uncured, he spent the rest of his life leading a semi-vagrant existence in his remote native area.
His mind could no longer handle the long form, so he wrote short poems. The poems were simple but rhythmic, full of imagery and metaphor from nature. Many were autobiographical, reflecting sadly on his fate, on loss, loneliness and disappointment in love. Others were an expression of love for his country, with titles like “I Saw Estonia Yesterday” and “Who Does Not Remember the Past (is Living Without the Future).”
Liiv’s simplicity and realist imagery were discordant with the prevailing taste. The few who knew of his solitary labor in the woods didn’t care for it. Appreciation started a decade later, when a collection of his poems was published in 1909. But by then, he had already lived his life and was, at least in his head, on his way to assume the throne of Poland on the days when he wasn’t Czar Alexander.
Today, Juhan Liiv lies under a grand obelisk, and his humble birthplace in Alatskivi is a museum. He is considered Estonia’s greatest poet of all time. The young read his lines to their loves, and the hurting find in him a balm for their pains. (2)
The trajectory of Juhan Liiv’s life among the Estonians is not unique. Every people kills its Christs, stones its Cassandras and buries its Mozarts and Vivaldis in pauper graves. Apart from greed, envy and stupidity, frivolity and sheep-like conventionality are a hallmark of the human species. They weighed down the lives of hundreds of the greatest everywhere, including Van Gogh and Gauguin, Shubert, Edgar Allan Poe and James Joyce, whose last words were “Does nobody understand?”
The second lesson of Juhan Liiv’s life is that this is a vale of sorrow by definition, and it’s only the dignity, integrity, gratitude and care with which one traverses one’s particular one-way lane that makes a difference. One cannot grasp anything about this world without serious contemplation of death, loss and decay, and the force that keeps all the nuons and gluons spinning, about which we know little. Yet the West’s culture has divorced itself from such considerations.
For the Left, questions about life’s essential mystery and tragedy are met by fraudulent answers. It’s all about the inequality. One day, Progressive rulers will figure out at last that beauty and charm are distributed far less equally and are a greater blessing than race, gender and money. Woe is that day, for government goons may equalize those with “unearned advantages” by sprinkling them with hydrochloric acid in the name of social justice.
For the Middle-Right, the answer to the vale of sorrows dilemma is to create a system where the most people can dance the macarena on the hood of a zero-down Bimmer with the iPod stuck in the back of the thong just below a large tattoo of Jay-Z. That way rooting pork lies.
For most Conservatives, the answer lies in whatever religious rite they learned when nine years old, with a safe harbor for nonthought in worship of Jesus-the-God not leavened with serious study and contemplation of Jesus-the-man and His times. It entails a formalistic adherence to a syncretic 4th century dogma grounded in unexamined autosuggestion, often entailing surrender masquerading as love and embittered at its dwindling popularity. It does not seem to work well in the 21st century anymore.
Somehow, the West has driven itself to Nowhere Land: part Samuel Butler’s Erewhon, part a lodge of Quakers United for Frantz Fanon. Retracing the route where wrong turns were made is essential, for without it it’s impossible to find the path to the straight and narrow.
The straight and narrow connoted here is far more than a theme for a Sunday sermon. The bumper-sticker idea that “S*** happens” expressed more eruditely in Nassim Taleb’s The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable is inseparable from the awareness that ours is a brief interlude on a tiny marble rotating in infinity by forces we don’t understand, by a design we are silly enough to consider fully revealed to holders of PhDs or priest parchments.
Had the tragic and unpredictable side of life and fate not been so fanatically shunned and suppressed in the West, “best-scenario” fractional bank lending based on fictional collateral could not have taken root. A shaky mountain of smelly derivatives touted AAA by unclean rating services could not have risen. Lying governments would not have been allowed their default mode of eternally rosy monetary expansions of colorful pieces of paper. Progressive elites would not be permitted to experiment with flooding the First World with the Third one while singing Kumbaya and painting a glowing future for all. Americans would not live on credit cards and carry two mortgages.
But we are far from done with Juhan Liiv. The third lesson of his life is that with all the misery and neglect that befell him, he never blamed others for his travails. He was modest about his talent, critical about his output and mercilessly honest about his condition, referring to himself often as “lunatic.” What a contrast to our times: a chronicle of the triumphant losers screaming at the altar of victimhood while the erstwhile winners – the normal, smarter, more creative, harder working and more dynamic — march in self-flagellants’ processions murmuring apologies for the imputed sins of their ancestors.
The ultimate lessons are in Juhan Liiv’s legacy as expressed by the Estonian people. His poems have been set to music and are sung by the many choirs that seem to be one of Estonia’s natural resources. The lines about a bee flying home that Liiv may have hummed while stumbling semi-frozen through the bogs and backwoods are now sung by choirs of 25,000 in Estonia’s celebrated song festivals. Here is my favorite rendition:

This is a deeply affecting song for one who can perceive the difference between lucky Anglosphere countries, blessed by their natural barriers from raptor nations yet throwing away their identity, and victims of geography like tiny Estonia that have been crushed for one thousand years between the Rus and the Teuton and never ceased fighting to maintain their identity.
Only in a nation that has suffered cruel oppression but remained ethnically monolithic will you find such huge, young crowds singing the word isamaa – fatherland, my country – with a sincerity that the hip-hopping Hollander or Amerikka–cursing Bostoner would find incomprehensible. Besides isamaa, the whole song, ostensibly about a bee and a beehive, is about love of country, of home.
Consider another Estonian song that excites the feelings, Isamaa ilu hoieldes (“Loving the Beauty of the Fatherland”). This one moves the emotions not through its lyricism and soaring harmonies, but its raw strength and unusual chord progressions — and the thousands singing in unison, as though moved by one spirit.
Isamaa ilu hoieldes was created in the 1980s by two remarkable talents: the poet Jüri Leesment and the composer Alo Mattiisen. Their resistance songs fuelled the ’87–‘91 Singing Revolution that spread from Estonia to Latvia and Lithuania, and succeeded in shaking off the yoke of a vastly stronger Soviet oppressor. This is the credo it expresses:
If you believe in yourself, in the wisdom of the old and the strength of the young; if you believe in the solidarity of your people, and in the soil and birch groves and swallows of home – then you get a better life.
If you believe in dreams and lies, if you bow to the ruling masters and to money interests, if you are swayed by the words of your rulers and your opponents, or weaken due to the scolds of the blind and the bites of the base and greedy – then you get nothing (4).
It’s quite the goose-bump experience to hear 25,000 people singing this refrain:
Isamaa ilu hoieldes. Loving the beauty of the fatherland Vaenlase vastu võideldes: Fighting against the enemy, pane tähele, pane tähele, Pay attention, pay attention, pane tähele, pane tähele, Pay attention, pay attention.
Pay attention. Can a crowd of 150,000 unblessed by Wonderful Diversity and animated by 25,000 singing in unison of their ancestral land and spirit have a strength in sameness quite unlike the dar al-harb of 2010 Rotterdam and Birmingham or the Zimbabwe-in-training at America’s “most diverse” cities, such as Oakland, CA (5) or Camden, NJ?
“Diversity” is actually a good thing. You may rest assured that the milk-bread-and-salted fish Estonian would like to have a Thai restaurant or two in his town. In February, fatherland is not much on his mind, but Bali or Rio is.
Diversity, however, is like hot Tabasco sauce. You add a few drops to your mashed potatoes, you have improved them. But keep pouring it in, and at 10% Tabasco your starchy purée becomes hard to digest. At 35% — which is the United States now — you will need an ambulance and a stomach pump. A California-style mash that’s 58% Tabasco will kill you.
The Strength-in-Diversity meme is based on the dispando ad absurdum principle — expansion onto the absurd. Because a little diversity is good for you, a 58% majority of sub-90 IQ colonizers from 180 Third World countries is good for you too. William “I did not have sexual relations with that woman” Clinton has had peak experiences of a different kind when speaking of the day in 2042 (est.) when Whites will no longer be a majority in America. But on that day, America’s final epitaph will have been engraved and its course inexorably set toward a Bosnia folded into Ciudad Juarez with additional entertainment provided by Jamaat al Fuqra.

Now when the West wallows in self-loathing, in boosting and celebrating the manifestly inferior, when churches are semi-deserted except for Hallelujah farms at the edge of strip malls, when a café au lait pre-programmed Socialist International voice digitizer is still “The One” to the plurality (41%) of Americans, one has to ask why.
There are the Crooks and the Loons, the permanent black and brown wards of the state, Jewish “repair of the world” with unintended consequences, Scandinavian socialism and White-guilt psychosis. But there is one more common and oft-forgotten source.
And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England’s mountains green?
And was the holy Lamb of God
On England’s pleasant pastures seen?
And did the Countenance Divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here
Among those dark Satanic mills?
Bring me my bow of burning gold: Bring me my arrows of desire: Bring me my spear: O clouds, unfold! Bring me my chariot of fire! I will not cease from mental fight, Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand Till we have built Jerusalem In England’s green and pleasant land.
Jerusalem is the essence of England. King George V said that he preferred it to the official National Anthem, “God Save the King.” It’s the anthem of England’s cricket and Rugby Union teams, and of Team England at the Commonwealth Games. It is sung every year by patriotic audiences of thousands in public venues and concert halls. It has been sung in every English school and college, though with the voluntary dhimmitude of that green and pleasant land now, mentions of Jerusalem are probably discouraged, along with St George’s Cross, cross buns, piggy banks and remembrance of the Nazi Holocaust.
Indeed Jerusalem is beautiful. Set to music by Sir Hubert Parry in 1916, though written by the Jacobin sympathizer William Blake (in 1804) it could belong proudly in any church hymnal. But as a National Anthem? With a vow not to cease fighting “till we have built Jerusalem in England”?
“Jerusalem” is a metaphor for a utopia of universal love and peace. Dark satanic mills are England’s industry in the early peak years of the Industrial Revolution. The various vows and declarations have little to do with love of England, and much to do with a Progressive social justice agenda leavened with Blake’s Swedenborgian nonsense.
That there were many social injustices in the 1800s is one thing. But that this be an anthem symbolizing England unto 2011 – that’s a different matter.
Jerusalem is a proto-socialist, crypto-multiculti (6) humanist paean. It was adopted early on as a hymn of the British Socialists, the British Suffragettes, the British Labour Party and all other parties besides. When Labour set out in 1945 to dismantle Great Britain for good with cradle-to-grave welfare, tax-funded universal National Health Service and promises of full employment, they called the plan “building a New Jerusalem.”
Jerusalem has a strong association also with Britain’s most disastrous event ever, World War 1. In this too, the song served a utopian purpose. Parry composed the Jerusalem score to help brace the fighting spirit and symbolize what England was fighting for: “the best interests of humanity”.
Thus did glorious Old England jump into an elective, three-year nightmare that broke its back forever. With lions led by donkeys, 60,000 dead in the first day of fighting, 1 million dead in total and 1.6 million wounded. Singing Jerusalem and marching into machine gun fire under mustard gas clouds for the good of humanity.
No wonder that the British have made such a mess of it. They now stand in line for dwindling council housing and other government goodies behind the culturally enriching immigrants from the 7th century, wear Kevlar vests to school, and suffer an Archbishop of Canterbury who supports sharia and a Crown Prince who proclaims ‘My duty is to save the world’.
The same pathology is stamped on America’s decline. It’s all about the Holy Lamb of God, “City upon a Hill” (John Winthrop 1630, John Kennedy 1961, Ronald Reagan 1984, 1989), “Thousand points of light” (G.H.W Bush, multiple citations) and “A kinder, gentler nation” (G.H.W. Bush, 1988). It’s not about such humble tasks as maintaining a balanced budget, keeping the value of the dollar, containing the size of the Looter Class, discouraging the dysfunctions of dysfunctional minorities, protecting the free citizen from statist oligarchs, protecting the free market from greedster malefactors, maintaining territorial sovereignty, and preserving the social capital, culture and identity of the nation.
There is no nation, actually. Korea defends Korea’s border and America defends Korea’s border (and Iraq’s and Afghanistan’s too), but it does not defend its own. The Shia in Iraq want to get rid of the Sunnis, and Americans do the shooting. Mexico conceives solutions for its unemployable peons that America implements on its own soil. China builds up its military and America provides the dollars and the technology. Europe rescues European banks, and America does too.
This is not simply “America,” but its Whites. Whites who vote for Black and Hispanic politicians while Blacks vote for Black politicians and Hispanics for the Hispanic ones. Anglos who listen meekly to the recording, “Para español, oprima el numero dos” while calling a bank, utility or government office. White Christians who cultivate Islam, agonize permanently over past injustices, and hand over the keys to the house to all claimants, provided they be non-White and claim victimhood status.
The United States could have become a healthy, rational country after the Civil War if it weren’t for its Progressives. It even had an unofficial national anthem reflecting the same kind of deep connection to the land as Estonia’s songs do. America, written by Samuel Francis Smith in 1832, is a paean to a beautiful land of ancestors, expressing the deepest emotional connection that one may have to one’s country. Moreover, it is sung to the music of “God save the King” and affirms therefore that culturally, the United States is Great Britain’s daughter (7). Its second stanza goes like this:
“My native country, thee, land of the noble free, thy name I love; I love thy rocks and rills, thy woods and templed hills; my heart with rapture thrills, like that above.”
America must have been deemed obsolete from the time the Progressives took the cultural reins in the 1880s and set out to make of America, Jerusalem. The Progressive creed tunneling under the United States to this day was presaged by the bizarre 19th century duo of the Christian Socialist Bellamy cousins, Edward and Francis. Edward wrote a best-seller in 1888 envisioning America of the year 2000 as a socialist utopia. Francis, a Baptist minister, was known for his sermon “Jesus the Socialist,” for his flag fetishism and the proto-Nazi Bellamy salute that went with it.
No wonder that with the Bellamys setting the tone, and three Progressive presidents (Roosevelt, Wilson, Roosevelt) soon thereafter, America was supplanted. In 1916, America’s most fateful Progressive, Woodrow Wilson, authorized “The Star Spangled Banner” as the new unofficial anthem (8).
Gone is the simplicity and love of ancestral soil. In a “proposition nation” whose politicians bray as though on cue “We are a nation of immigrants” and act as foreign agents and own nest featherers even while serving their sworn national duties, a long poem that one can neither remember nor sing properly is more appropriate. Particularly as it’s about the defense of a once-proud city, Baltimore – now a decrepit, dangerous sore plagued by Afro-American criminality at the bottom, gang warfare in the middle, kleptocracy at the top, and dementia queen Nancy Pelosi as the city’s most famous daughter.
The current U.S. anthem concludes with the lines: “And this be our motto: In God is our trust; And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave; O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.” So true until 1960, now its sounds like naive braggadocio.
God helps only those who help themselves, as Americans once did. Now, 44% of Americans live off the government.
“In God We Trust” could be printed not on one but on both sides of the American dollar, and it still wouldn’t change the Reality that there is little God can do for them who devalued their currency by 95% since 1913 and frittered such devalued dollars on cockamamie social engineering projects, mortgage loan guarantees for the guaranteed deadbeats, building modern China including its military, and bringing democracy and tolerance to the lands of the 7th century. All while exulting in their own goodness and specialness while being cut 35% (and growing) with Third World “diversity.”
Pay attention. Between the humble bee of Juhan Liiv, animated by the pulse of her earthly colony, and the Anglo-Saxon Christian lamb exalting in heavenly pastures (9), the bee is apt to be the long-term survivor. A headline last year read, “Obama Wins Unlikely Allies [Evangelical Christian leaders] in Immigration.” Another one announced that United Church of Christ, United Methodists and various evangelical groups would be participating in the “One Nation Working Together” rally of the extreme Left in Washington, D.C. on 2 October 2010 — along with such worthy comrades as Communist Party USA, Democratic Socialists of America, Human Rights Campaign, National Center for Transgender Equality, Planned Parenthood, and Code Pink.
Perhaps it’s time to revisit Western Christianity itself.

Looking at the evolution of Christianity in the New World, one sees a blessed and lucky polity with a wholesome and constructive creed that morphed over 100 years ago into the conceit of building “Jerusalem,” with the government as the builder. Leaving aside the pre-WW2 Progressive presidents, since Lyndon Johnson for nearly half a century now the U.S. government has engaged in little more than building what G.H.W. Bush would call in 1988 “a kinder, gentler nation” and his son George W. would boost to a quest for a kinder, gentler world, with dire consequences (10).
For all those years, the U.S. government’s main project was equalizing the unequal and stamping out discrimination where Reality itself (i.e. God) discriminates. It seeded perceived historical victims in positions of power while its world competitors did so with their best and brightest. It opened its borders to the world for the good of the immigrants and to its own detriment. It streamed Islam into a Christian country and grew it there for the sake of “Judeo-Christian values.” It sucked in every manner of barbarian refugee and “refugee” from all over the globe, as long as he had a sob story. It redistributed wealth from the workers to the idlers and, via its trashing of the dollar, from the savers to the spendthrift borrowers. It exported its industry and jobs overseas, and imported the praise and cheap junk of Third World beneficiaries. It fought wars for democracy and freedom elsewhere, and refused to attend to the wars on its borders and in its own minorities-dominated cities. Great Britain immersed itself in the same pathology, though only via the left and center-Christian chutes, without the “greed is good” steroid of America’s unhinged banksters and next-quarter-profit’s maximizers.
For all those years, China was executing a brilliant rise via a clever industrial export and currency manipulation policy. China has cornered the global market in industrial production and, increasingly, in scarce natural resources, not to speak of its military dominance of the Far East — all made possible by U.S.-supplied dollars and technology. America in the meantime has cornered the market on financial air trading, predatory lawsuits, global compassion, and gross reverse-racist self-mutilation for the sake of progressive bondage, painful discipline, and purported approval by Liberation Lamb Jesus.
To save alien Arabs from Sadam Hussein and Pashtuns from the Taliban, America, with main assist from Great Britain, emptied its empty coffers and sent its 19-year-olds to be ripped by IEDs on dusty Muzland lanes. But it was China that got the oil contracts and Iran that gained a new satrapy in Iraq. It’s sharia law and hatred of the infidel that the U.S.-sponsored Afghani government stands for. It’s Al-Qaeda and Muslims Brotherhood that the U.S. empowered by helping Libyan rebels against Qaddafi.
Right along, playing to America’s passion for compassion, Mexico has been implementing a brilliant cultural and territorial reconquista via demographic dumping of tens of millions of its undesirables. Islam was executing a clever expansionist strategy by placing a large fifth column of immigrants in the all-too-willing Anglosphere, and then using Constitutional protections to expand Islam and its influence via symbolic presence (mosques, Ramadan at the White House etc.), Wahhabi bribery of universities and MSM, and intimidation via terrorism and recruitment of violent black criminals to Islam through prison imams on government salary.
Great Britain, to up the ante in the Inter-Anglo Compassion tournament, imports its worst jihadi enemies and gives them council housing and welfare for man, four wives and 16 future-jihad children per family, all out of tender concern for what their Muslim enemies would do to them in their home countries. That those enemies are the sane ones, and it’s Blighty that needs its head examined, apparently is not a popular notion in the ruling precincts of London.
80% of America’s population and 71% of Great Britain’s define themselves as Christian. These Christians, and the politicians they elect, have proved eminently hobbled in their comprehension of Reality’s mechanisms (11). In a geopolitical contest where the one superpower is guided by “What would Jesus do,” its primary enemy is guided by “What would Muhammad do” (Answer: conquest, killing, subjugation), and its main competitor and ascending superpower is guided by the “Thirty Six Stratagems” – e.g. #10: “Hide a knife behind a smile” — the superpower shall not remain so for long.
Perhaps another look at Estonia is warranted, it being a representative of a class of Eastern European countries humbled and hardened by a long succession of calamities, hence cleansed of the curses of pollyanism, naïveté, hubris, pretensions of exceptionalism, Lamb and Lion aspirations and tortured self-doubts.
From Brothers of the Sword to brothers of the song
Estonia’s history is impossible for a foreign non-specialist to grasp adequately. It’s a 1,000-year chronicle of conquest and subjugation of a small people by a succession of all the bullies in the neighborhood. There were some 40 invasions by the Russians in their various stages, crusades of Western European knights, monks and opportunists, and additional occupations by Denmark, Sweden, various German entities, Lithuania and Poland.
For our purpose here, two aspects will suffice. The one is how Christianity came to Estonia. The other is how Liberty has.
By 1193, when Pope Celestine III announced a Northern Crusade to convert the Baltic peoples to Christianity, they had already lived in the area for 8,000 years and had been preyed upon by the Kievan Rus for centuries. The “Livonian Brothers of the Sword” (Fratres militiae Christi de Livonia) would bring the word of merciful Jesus to these simple polytheist folks by sword and fire at the same time when the Fourth Crusade was sacking Constantinople.
A hundred years later, the Livonian Brothers had allied with the Order of the Teutonic Knights [“the Order”], Danes and Germans had moved in as the overlord class that enserfed the local tribes, but the uprisings by serfs and stubborn pagans would continue well into the 14th century. By the time it succumbed to the superior force of the Augustinian monks in chainmail and their allied knights, Estonia’s autochthon population was half of what it had been recently.
No sources in English are readily available about the rule of Latvia and Estonia by the Brothers of the Sword. However, the “Christian” ministrations of the Order in neighboring territories provide a basis for extrapolation.
The Prussians, whose lands would become the main stronghold of the Order, had been exterminated already by the 14th century. Thus did the word “Prussian” come to connote “German.” The Livs of Latvia and Estonia were luckier: about 400 remain with us today, though the Livs’ extermination is partly attributable to 20th century Soviets.
In 1308, singing “Jesu Christo Salvator Mundi” the Teutonic Knights seized the Polish city of Gdańsk (Danzig) and slaughtered 10,000 of its inhabitants. In their 1327 plundering raids on the region then known as Polonia Maior, the Order terrorized the people by burning down their villages and murdering women and children. There was much more of this.
Eventually, the creeping holocaust against the last remaining pagans, the Lithuanians, drove their prince Jogaila to convert his people to Christianity and form a protective alliance with Catholic Poland by marrying its queen. Under his command, the Polish-Lithuanian (12) army defeated the Teutonic Knights in the Battle of Grunwald on July 15, 1410. That victory has averted a Christ-impostoring genocide of so wide a scope that its recent 600th anniversary was attended by the presidents of Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, Latvia, Belarus, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
For Estonia, final relief from the Order would take another 25 years, but 550 more years of oppression were to follow. By the time the latest invaders — the Soviets — were done with it, Estonia had again lost ¼ of its population to mass murder, deportations to Siberia, harsh prison, confiscation of farms and forced starvation. All that in the brief span of Soviet occupation in 1940-41 and reoccupation in 1944 -1991, separated by three years of harsh German Nazi rule.
The Estonians never gave up. To fight the hated Soviets, at least 70,000 joined various units of Hitler’s army after German occupation in 1941 (13). When the Soviets reconquered the country in 1944, 30,000 Estonians took to the forest and resisted the Bolsheviks to the last man, for 30 years.
What the Soviets did not accomplish by mass murder, they tried by demographic and cultural means. They diluted the autochthon population by resettling Russian colonizers to Estonia and giving them special privileges. By 1990, 40% of the population of what was now Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic was Russian, and Russian had become a required second language, slowly supplanting the first.
For a nation of $1.3 million to withstand all that, brave the Russian bear with nothing more than song and solidarity, and emerge with freedom and an intact national identity after 1000 years of foreign occupation (14) was a miracle.
There is a threefold lesson that Estonia’s history offers for the West. The first is that this is a vale of sorrow for whole nations like it is for individuals. Nations that have been spared travails such as befell Eastern Europe ought to feel grateful and protective of the advantages that good fortune has granted them. Instead, Western Anglophonic countries have frittered away their unique blessings such as defensible borders, cultural cohesiveness and monolingualism to pursue extreme utopian fantasies, as though it could be done with impunity. History however is not linear but circular. The wheel turns fastest for them who ignore its working.
The second and third lessons of Estonia’s history are that Christianity needs to be ransomed from its manglers on the Left, the Right and the doctrinaire middle before it can be resurrected as a widespread spiritual force that the West needs so badly. To consider that properly we have to return to the Western context.
Toward a greater mugging onto eternity
Christianity is now at the far left end of a historic amplitude that started with the pendulum at the opposite end on July 6, 1415. On that day, Jan Hus was burned at the stake for stiff-necked heresy just a month after the deceased John Wycliffe had been condemned for a similar reason to exhumation and burning, along with his books. From that far end of Church fanaticism, a counter momentum started that generated the Hussite Wars and other internecine Christian slaughter that would tear up Europe for the next 300 years. In the realm of ideas, the arc of the pendulum went from abusive Church absolutism to the Reformation, back to Counter-Reformation, on to Enlightenment, Jacobinism, Marxism-Socialism, and the current religion of life-as-entertainment, consumption, pretentious stupidity, celebratory baseness, sloth and dhimmitude to the nonwhite and non-Christian.
Independently thinking clergymen started the reckoning with the excesses of institutional Christianity at least since mid-14th century. Even the Enlightenment had clergymen linchpins like Denis Diderot and Adam Ferguson. The Euro-peoples’ faith tried to find a golden balance, but the inertial Church hierarchy resisted too hard for too long. So much kinetic energy had built up, that when the pendulum finally smashed through the resistance, it swept far past the zone of equilibrium into liberalism, relativism, and loss of the faith and the faithful.
Nostra Aetate came in 1965 to proclaim religious liberalism in a grand measure half of which would have been far more useful 200 years earlier. What remains of serious practicing Christendom seems to be occupied mainly by the Christian Left. That is the “What would Jesus do” movement, presaged in Blake’s Jerusalem. It rides on the purist momentum started in 1415, pushing Christianity’s pendulum farther into the realm of neutered self-liquidation in reaction to its former fanatical absolutism.
“Does the Catholic Church have a future?” asks J. Peter Nixon in “Only the Saints Can Save Us,” the title answering the question. The author notes the dissonance between the official claim of following “one who embraced poverty, chastity, and obedience to the will of God,” and the modern summum bonum of material comfort, sexual fulfillment, and freedom from societal obligations. This hypocrisy has repelled many, particularly the young.
“The liberal path of greater rapprochement between Church and culture has not proven successful for those denominations that have tried it,” writes Nixon. But what the author offers differs little from the formula of B. H. Obama or any Euro-socialist. He sees the future of the Church in a common return to saintly life “that make(s) no sense unless Jesus Christ is who we believe Him to be.”
There is a double problem with this perception of Christ and Christianity: its ontology and its epistemology. Just skimming the summary surface of the epistemology as per the current state of New Testament studies is good for 50,000 words; we can but touch upon it here so that at least the deluded ontology get a more comprehensive treatment.
(2) I pieced such details of Juhan Liiv’s life and work as appear here from a short Wikipedia entry, which is practically the only relevant item available in English, and a slim hodgepodge of not always mutually consistent items posted on the Internet in French, Polish and German. Also, by partially deciphering a few Estonian items with the help of a dictionary and a partly shared cultural frame of reference, as Estonia was a part of my native country, Poland, for 70 years in the 16th – 17th centuries and had a similar experience of fighting German, Russian and other invaders for the last 1000 years.
(3) As I don’t speak Estonian, the translation was puzzle-work, taking the readily available Estonian text, hunting all over the Web for partial translations by Estonian bloggers, piecing those together and then cleaning up their English. Peep Sarapik composed the beautiful choral score.
(4) English-language translation by an Estonian blogger may not be 100% accurate, but it’s the only one available.
(5) Oakland is third from the top of crime rankings of the cities of the extra-Mexico North American landmass — crimes in such volume that the police no longer respond to complaints of burglary, theft, embezzlement, extortion and vandalism. It’s the home of Huey Newton and the Black Panthers, of Discovery Channel’s Gang Wars, and of Afro-American Cultural Marxist saboteurs like Barbara Lee and Ron Dellums and institutions like Ella Baker Center … the list is very long.

Obama’s white predecessors for 50 years had only utopian, mushy notions largely anchored in their Christian faith and oblivious to their own race’s, nation’s or civilization’s interests.
(11) American Jews are even more hobbled this way, for largely similar reasons. A similar attitude is quite common among Nordic Protestants.

A societal prescription of living a saintly life in the Jesus mode welcomes the looting of everything the West has and is by the great masses of the Third World with two feet already in the door. It cannot fend off global jihad, North Korea or China. It skirts modern economic reality in which wealth is the reward of productive competition, and capital has no religion but flows to where the returns are highest. What Nixon and other sincere Christians prescribe is self-liquidation with a beatific smile.
A case to ponder is George Price, the subject of The Price of Altruism: George Price and the Search for the Origins of Kindness. A genius, Price dedicated the latter portion of his life to explaining acts of kindness and altruism within the ostensibly contrary framework of Darwin’s evolutionary principles. He even wrote the Price Equation that explained it mathematically – a feat no one before him had managed.
In 1970, Price, a sworn atheist like most Darwinians, had a religious experience. He became obsessed with the New Testament and decided to follow Jesus. He opened his house to the homeless and, to help them, gave away most of his possessions. What he didn’t give away, they stole as he was watching. Finally, he was evicted from his rented place. In 1975, the 53 year old Price – homeless, destitute and ill –committed suicide.
The United States and Great Britain are already partially evicted from their respective homes by self-inflicted alien hordes, and are now destitute and ill too. While the socialist paternity of this syndrome receives much coverage on the Right, the Christian maternity has been a matter of discreet silence.
The most destructive U.S. Senator in modern history, Ted Kennedy, was an observant Catholic who wrote in his autobiography, “My faith, and the love of following its rituals, has always been my foundation and my inspiration.” His first Senate speech was to endorse the 1964 Civil Rights Act – a law that not only freed Blacks from unjust discrimination but replaced the concept of equal opportunity with government-enforced equal outcomes for unequals, hence a bleak future for all in a Parallel Universe la-la land.
Ted Kennedy was also the motor of the 1965 Immigration Act. He reviled its critics as “un-American” bigots evincing “hate of our heritage.” The quick 1964/65 one-two punch combination ensured that America would have a Third World population to go with its soft-in-the-head ideology. Yet Kennedy is lionized profusely to this day, including in Catholic media.
Three times in recent memory, committed Anglo-Christian presidents drove America to a staggered ruin in the service of their religious precepts, and three times similarly oriented prime ministers so drove Great Britain. Recounting the full list of woes inflicted on America by Lyndon Johnson and Jimmy Carter and on Great Britain by Attlee, Blair and Brown is beyond the scope of this work. The former being well known to the American reader, and the semi-forgotten Clement Attlee (1) requiring too much exposition, we’ll omit them here.
Tony Blair, who set Great Britain onto its path of dhimmified dissolution, is a committed Christian who has spoken of the importance of his faith in his life almost as much as his soul mate in the White House has. Gordon Brown, the most delusional prime minister in post-Attlee British history, is a “Presbyterian from cradle” who has flaunted his Christian vision in politics. But since the fantastic damage wreaked by George W. Bush alone would fill a thick book, a small W sample will do for our purpose here.
The “religiously-informed” centrist website “First Things” misses Bush because of his affection for America, lack of hate for his opponents, no haranguing of the people, and a manifest belief that Americans are inherently decent and heroic. This was a comment from “Bill”:
“I believe George W. Bush loved God. I can’t think of anything that explains his patience, forbearance and love of us. I recall the way he met with every fallen soldier’s family to thank them and grieve with them and did it out of the spotlight [snip]. He came to a point in his life where he chose to serve God rather than himself and recognized and accepted his complete dependence on God [snip]. The Left despised the sight of Pres. Bush. I love him.”
Genuinely decent and Christian man though George W. Bush is, it appears not to register with millions of his kindred fans that he ruined the United States. In his eight years in the White House, Bush started and did not finish two ruinous wars to bestow freedom, democracy, tolerance and $3 trillion in American taxpayer’s wasted treasure on unwilling and unable Mohammedans. Instead of acting on the real causes of 9/11 terror –Islam and Muslims’ access to the United States, and the corrupted functioning of PC-mad CIA and FBI — he just threw enormous gobs of money at the problem, and voided hard-won civil liberties of a complacent sheeple.
Bush sanctioned the building of a giant new bureaucracy, DHS [Number of employees: 200,000+, Primary mission: “Diversity”]. During his tenure, the funding for homeland security increased from $19.5 billion to $70 billion (2). Much of that for salaries to people who confiscate the toothpaste of retired octogenarian Scots-Irish Lt. Generals and conduct breast milk interrogations of Evangelical Marines’ wives at America’s 450 commercial airports while hosting receptions to celebrate Ramadan. In addition to the direct costs, indirect costs of this to the economy have been over $4 billion a year.
Veto pen permanently glued to his pocket, Bush enlarged the size and cost of the government more than any president had since Lyndon Johnson (by some reckoning since FDR). He was responsible for an 83% increase in federal spending and added $1.55 trillion to the federal debt while lowering taxes too, as though America could walk on water and hoist canons at the same time. By 2009, his “compassionate” Medicare drug benefit initiative alone was piling over $60 billion a year onto the federal deficit.
Unsustainable expenditures were anchored in W’s faith-based (a prominent Bushism) delusions. He pushed the “minority homeownership” agenda, thus contributing to the subprime mortgage crisis and collapse of the U.S. financial system. Perhaps the clearest indication of the crazed “faith-based” mindset is in the speech Bush gave in June 2002 at a black church in Atlanta. Excerpts:
“We’ve got a problem here in America [snip]. Too many American families, too many minorities do not own a home. There is a home ownership gap in America. The difference between Anglo America and African American and Hispanic home ownership is too big. [snip] By the year 2010, we must increase minority home owners by at least 5.5 million. [snip]
The single greatest barrier to first time homeownership is a high downpayment. [snip] That’s why I propose and urge Congress to fully fund the American Dream Downpayment Fund. This will use money, taxpayers’ money to help a qualified, low income buyer make a downpayment. [snip] That’s why I’ve challenged the industry leaders [snip] to [snip] achieve a more secure America, by achieving the goal of 5.5 million new minority home owners.
[Snip] Fannie May and Freddie Mac [etc.] will increase their commitment to minority markets by more than $440 billion. [snip] They will purchase more loans made by banks after Americans, Hispanics and other minorities, which will encourage homeownership. Freddie Mac will launch 25 initiatives to eliminate homeownership barriers. [snip] Consumers with poor credit will be able to get a mortgage with an interest rate that automatically goes down after a period of consistent payments. Fannie Mae will establish 100 partnerships with faith-based organizations that will [snip] increase homeownership for their congregations. I love the partnership.”
It’s impossible for a non-Looter American to read this impassively, knowing that Bush’s beloved Fannie and Freddie instruments of “racial justice” are a black hole that cost the U.S. taxpayer $141 billion so far, and no end is in sight as they have $5.6 trillion in combined liabilities. Every quarter, this dynamic duo loses an 11-figure sum of U.S. taxpayer’s dollars and demands (and gets) more. In the first quarter of 2011 alone, Fannie lost $8.7 billion and Freddie lost close to $1 billion.
Bush’s penultimate line in that speech was, “To me, that something greater than yourself is to love a neighbor like you’d like to be loved yourself. In order to change America and to make sure the great American Dream shines in every community, we must unleash the compassion and kindness of the greatest nation on the face of the earth.” His love-thy-Mexican-neighbor agitation for illegal aliens’ amnesty was permanently at fever pitch even as contemporaneous studies and plain common sense warned of dire consequences (3).
It’s not surprising therefore that when B. Hussein Obama was preparing to push America’s creaky hull for reasons laid down by Saul Alinsky, Bill Ayers et al. down the skid ramp built by G.W. Bush, it was de rigueur that he announce, “I felt I heard God’s spirit beckoning me.” He elaborated further, 20 months after his effort at converting America into a Black Liberation Jerusalem had begun: “The precepts of Jesus Christ spoke to me.”
Christianity has turned into Origen Christianity involving self-castration. The intersection of this suicidal code with politics transpires almost daily. Memorably so when U.S. Senate Democratic candidate (and now Senator) Chris Coons promised to bring Yale University Divinity School’s values to the Senate. Between Jhvh, Jesus, Janus and Jutta (4)
As they graze in the postmodern world among the Mega-Looters, Massive Crooks, Multiculti Loons, Mendacious Marxists, Militant Muslims, Metamorphosed KGBsters, Mao-Confucian Capitalists, Pierced Polymorphic Perverts, Barbarians with iPads, Programmed Consumer Clones and Corporate Drones, the confused ontology of Christianity’s Holy Lamb practitioners (they of Blake’s Jerusalem) is perhaps exceeded only by their disoriented epistemology.
For practicing Christians, if Jesus Christ is who we believe Him to be, we must follow what the Evangelists – i.e. fallible, unknown and unknowable 1st century Middle-Eastern Jews and Seleucid Greeks with private agendas, character warps and consciousness leaks specific to their time and place wrote 30-80 years after His crucifixion. If we go another 250 years forward, i.e. the first ecumenical council, in Nicaea, the actual Jesus who lived and died has receded much farther, and the fallible, invented agendas of the religious politicians arrogating His name have multiplied manyfold. The origination and therefore divine origin problems of the much older Old Testament are even greater (5).
Superior brains have engaged in this issue at least since Thomas Jefferson and, before him, Isaac Newton. By now, supercomputer algorithms and the most sophisticated methods of textual and historiographic analysis have been brought to bear too. None of this seems to have penetrated into the skulls of church leaders, let alone their dwindling flock, even though a plausible case can be made that even if God did not actually appear to Moses, Jesus was not actually God, and Mary was not actually a virgin [for that you need to understand what the Hebrew word alma means], God had still chosen them and operated through them. And that God may not wear a toga and a white beard but manifest as a conscious homeostatic loop immanent in every particle in the Universe and vibrating it in a beautiful music of the celestial spheres too slow for us to apprehend as each beat lasts 500 years.
Moreover, no revisionism can take off one iota from the magnificence of the Bible –surely the greatest literary creation and most inspired, probably even God inspired, moral document in all of history. But that’s inspired, not dictated. And inspired into ancient, unknown writers, with all their human warps.
A semantic symptom of the mental fog in the Anglosphere is the constant reference to “our Judeo-Christian” heritage, values, civilization and so on. It’s a false meme. The Jewish inheritance embedded in Christianity is an indispensable moral and theistic foundation stone of Western Civilization, but together they make for only two of five, the other ones being Greek, Roman and pre-Christian Northern European.
That there are major Roman elements in our culture anyone with one semester of law school, Romance languages, Civil Engineering or Government 101 will attest to readily. The Roman ideals of virtue, manliness and patriarchal order sustained Western society until the mid-20th century.
As to the Greeks, the great German classical scholar Werner Jaeger called our civilization Hellenocentric. The Greek form of ennobling, acculturative education, paideia, was once the forming template for a ruling elite as recently as Victorian England and pre-1930s proto-WASP America. Paideia is now a quaint word and forgotten concept, which is why we no longer have a Praetorian Guard. We are ruled by moronic clowns or clever pillagers, and know no better.
A minor recent media event involving the word paideia allows a glimpse of the confusion of history and values in the source of “Judeo-Christianity” itself: Judaism. It was a television interview with Barbara Lerner-Spectre, the founder of Paideia Institute in Sweden dedicated to the revival of European Jewish culture. The name is a singularly maladroit appropriation, for if there is something that paideia is not, it is Jewish culture.
Paideia, per Werner Jaeger’s magnum opus (translated by Gilbert Highet as Paideia: The Ideals of Greek Culture) was the educational process shaping Greek youngsters into worthy carriers of liberty, noble character, martial valor and love of beauty. Thus raised, a free Greek man was to be Kalos kagathos, handsome and brave. The same ideal may be found in the chivalry code and training of medieval European knights and in the samurai code of bushido.
The paideia ideal was resurrected again in the school that the father of French equitation, Antoine de Pluvinel, opened in Paris in 1594 for sons of the highborn. It was ostensibly an académie for teaching horsemanship, but Pluvinel has a place in the pantheon of Classical Humanists not only because of his gentle methods of handling the horse but because his school imparted also the arts of fencing, painting and music-making, proper attire and comportment, good manners, mathematics, classical and modern languages, poetry, literature and history. Some form of that survived well into the 20th century in the British public schools and their American equivalents, and in the Swiss private schools for the rich.
The traditional Jewish form of acculturative education, on the other hand, has focused since ancient times on mastery of the canon of the Torah and its exegesis in the Talmud, Mishnah and Gemara. It has served over the centuries to preserve the legacy of Judaism. As a side effect, it’s probably the core reason for the 12-15 points that separate the mean IQ of Ashkenazi Jews from that of their neighbor white Christians. For traditional Jewish education was akin to attending law school from the age of five.
The curriculum, still mandatory in Orthodox Judaism, encompasses 613 Torah commandments (mitzvot) from Jhvh, seven more added by later rabbis, positive and negative injunctions, attenuating and nullifying circumstances, precedents of rabbinical jurisprudence and opinion, plus endless canonical arguments interpreting all those in dozens of volumes. What it does not do is teach valor, appreciation of beauty, and nobility of character. It also does not anymore, except on the esoteric margins like the Kabbalah, carry a direct experience of the transcendent God.
Less than 50% of Western Jews have any attachment to their religion now. The imperative of loving God evolved for most into an imperative of doing good. A wholesome spiritual precept was eventually perverted by “progressivism” into a leftist egalitarian and West-deconstructing ideology. Western Jews’ major cultural group trait now is secular activism to make the world a “better” place by supporting parties and policies that carry out the redistribution of power and wealth from the achievers to the slackers, from Whites to the not-so, and from the First World to the Third. As though there were no unintended consequences.
And so we arrive at a Judaic Paideia that’s not just confused in what it is and what it cannot be, but actively peddles repellent monstrosities. In the interview, Ms. Lerner-Spectre, complete with the facial and mental ticks of Nancy Pelosi, said this:
“There is a resurgence of anti-Semitism because [snip] Europe has not yet learned how to be multicultural. And I think we [Paideia?] are going to be part of the throes of that transformation, which must take place. Europe is not going to be the monolithic societies they once were in the last century. Jews are going to be at the centre of that. It’s a huge transformation for Europe to make. They are now going into a multicultural mode and Jews will be resented because of our leading role. But without that leading role and without that transformation, Europe will not survive.”
It’s the exact opposite. Europe will not survive Lerner-Spectre’s and her “Paideia’s” ministrations. Packaged into her lunacy with an astonishing lack of awareness is the probability of a future civil war in Europe and a holocaust for the remnants of Europe’s Jewry. Were she to succeed, the 1.5 million European Jews would face the violent hostility of soon-to-be 80 million European Muslims. Moreover, the Jews will have earned the implacable hatred of many millions of Europeans who would be blaming them, collectively, for their vaunted “leading role” in foisting the multiculti Islamo-African disaster on their continent.
We have here a people widely hailed for its outstanding mental powers yet courting self-extinction with the persistence of imbeciles. Huang Po, the 9th century Chinese Zen master, perhaps had such a syndrome in mind when he said, “The wise reject what they think, not what they see. The foolish reject what they see, not what they think.”
Alas, all mainstream Christianity is hitched to the same wagon. Volumes could be written about this, but we can adduce here just a few examples:
A little-known root of the “Building Jerusalem” progressive Christian madness may be found in this March 16, 1942TIME Magazine report about a resolution of 30+ Protestant denominations in favor of one world government, a “democratically controlled” world bank, worldwide freedom of immigration, strong limitations on national sovereignty, international control of all militaries, and so on.
As to the Southern Baptist Church, the Vdare.com blog keeps noting that it is now part of the “Treason Lobby.” For Lutherans, to hop an ocean, one might read an article whose headline, if I wrote it, would read “Swedish Lesbian Loon Bishop Driving Nails Into Her Country’s Outstretched Hands” — though it reads differently in Danish (English translation at Gates of Vienna).
Elsewhere in the Christian asylum, the Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori , thepresiding bishop of the Episcopal Church, wrote a missive entitled “We must join immigration dialogue,” replete with fraudulent bromides like “our biblical tradition” and misapplied quotes from Isaiah in support of a mad dogma that’s destroying the United States and all western and quasi-Christian countries.
The Roman Catholic Church is no better. A section of the Vatican is called “Justice and Peace” as though it were a division in Eric Holder’s Afrocentric Latino Reconquista Department of Justice. To see how far the American RCC will go to line up behind any alien Catholic no questions asked, and against the polity of the American people, one might delve into this account of Cardinal Mahoney’s Los Angeles.
One cannot help but think of Nietzsche’s thesis that Christianity was a Trojan horse wheeled into the Roman Empire by Paul in order to destroy it. Indeed for a long time now, proto-Nazi thinkers have homed in on this idea. Those particularly afflicted by the Jew-hate virus, from Hitler through Julius Evola to Revilo Oliver to current White Supremacist groups proclaim that Christianity is a harmful Jewish import that the West had better discard, or die the death of eunuchs. The proposed replacement is usually some version of the Nazi formula: a synthesis of Rome and Nordic paganism.
But things are not so simple. As comforting as such magic serums may seem, life in pre-Christian Europe was short, brutal and dehumanizing in the extreme, even in the evolved Greek and Roman cultures.
The classical scholar Sara Ruden has delved into original Greek and Latin texts to describe in her Paul Among the People the 1st century world to which Paul brought his message of divine love and moral restraints. Slaves were considered on a par with dogs. Slave boys served for anal sex in a widespread and explicitly sadistic practice with dehumanizing intent. Babies were a disposable commodity, often killed by exposure. Commoners and slaves were subject to barbaric punishments, crucifixion by no means the cruelest one.
Paul’s counsel of meekness and forbearance has to be seen in the context of the congenital impulsiveness of that era’s people, with emotion channeled instantaneously into violence begetting further violence. Hatred and revenge were matters of pride and approbation. Stabbing, strangling and poisoning were normal ways of resolving disputes.
Paul’s railing about sorcery may seem fanatical in our age of pandering to “authentic” primitivism, until one has Ruden as a guide to what sorcery meant in the Greco-Roman context. She brings up the Roman poet Horace’s description of a small boy buried up to his neck and left to starve to death while staring at food, so that his liver and bone marrow imbue with his frenzied longing, to better serve as an aphrodisiac.
The Christian message, distilled from Judaism but dispensing with the latter’s myriad rules, offered a way from barbaric brutality and enslavement to human dignity and freedom. Life in a post-Christian West brought to pre-Christian norms would remove the “civil” from “civilization.” Moreover, it was Christian inspiration that built this culture, so magnificent that it’s still coasting supreme on the strength of past glory, even though for much of the past 100 years it has done little more than smear feces on itself, science excepted.

But rescue is not to be found at the other pole, either. The kind of traditionalism that yearns for a pre-Enlightenment golden Church past that never was is playing a similar make-believe game. It’s a losing proposition to return to princely status for bishops, trials for cats and pigs as agents of Satan, burning witches, impaling Jews and mowing down other Christians because they cross themselves differently, as is the denial that this was once the Christian practice, from which only the Enlightenment rescued us. Here, a look at Estonia may again provide food for the Anglophone’s thought.
The second lesson of Estonia’s history is that a people can reconcile with their complex and far from unsullied history and tradition without the compulsive picking at wounds and other Reality-distorting rubbish that characterizes the West’s Hamletian moral and spiritual contortions.
Yes, the Christianizing process was brutal and full of ulterior motives. But the Baltic tribes themselves were no pure and noble innocents. The Estonians, Livs, Letts, Semgallians, Curonians, Lithuanians et al. were raiders, pillagers, slavers and killers – of each other. They were human predators glorifying plunder. Their pagan religion sustained this dog-eat-dog ethos. Their sacred groves saw human sacrifices and infanticide. All this had once been common across Northern Europe, but in the Baltics it persisted through the 13th century (6).
Masochistic falsification of history (7) for the sake of moral cleansing and the “building of Jerusalem” so prized particularly in the Anglosphere voids the wisdom that comes from understanding the truth. Wearing sackcloth year round because of what remote white predecessors did to the Igbo, Iroquois or Inca is terminal idiocy inverting the lessons of history into a scourge for self-flagellation. Eastern Europeans (and all non-Western peoples) don’t make a big fuss about wrong turns they have taken in the past.
Estonians do not allow that disaffected minorities or utopian moralists beat society into submission with tales of Estonian Reds who fought for Stalin’s evil or Estonian Waffen SS volunteers who fought for Hitler. That pre-empts the white Mea Culpa cult, now decimating the West. As to Christianity, Estonia has gratefully taken all the good it can offer, without dwelling much on how it was imposed.
The Church, Lutheran since 1524, was of relatively little importance, except for its major contribution to basic education. But with the revival of Estonian nationalism in late 19th century, it had become what the scholar Andrew R. Hart called “a pillar of the civil religion of Estonia” (8). The Lutheran Church helped to revive the Estonian language by holding services in Estonian, promoted Estonian culture and dispensed charity. With Sovietisation, church membership became a component of national resistance. After a Lutheran service, Hart relays, people would leave to lay flowers at the graves of patriots who died fighting the Russians.
The Lutheran Church still functions as Estonia’s cultural anchor, even though 80% of the population claims no church membership. But there is another anchor too, of pronounced pre-Christian, indigenous Estonian provenance. This shows most clearly also in the other Baltic countries: all remote from Rome and Christianized last (9).
Polytheistic, nature-based folklore builds up social capital and connectedness to the land, and through it to Reality. Love of the land harks back to the creed of sacred oaks, divine waterfalls and power rocks. Reality is encoded in myths, proverbs, folk tales and old aphorisms. Both are crucial antidotes against utopian stupidity in the manner of Western secular Body Snatchers or self-erasure through Christian Holy Lamb world repair.
That is the third lesson from Estonia. Elements of its pagan past that thrive to this day have cemented the national spirit and identity. The distinctive folk costumes one sees at Estonia’s song festivals date to pre-Christian times. Some costume parts, such as the wide, woven belts, have magic properties per ancient legends. The singing tradition itself, the wreaths on women’s heads and on men’s shoulders go back to pre-history.
Christmas, a happy and important day like elsewhere, is heir to ancient winter solstice celebrations. It has retained its original pagan name – joulud (i.e. Yuletide). Jaanipäev (St. John’s Day), the second most important day of the year, is a thinly disguised pagan fest of summer solstice. Leaping through large bonfires to burn lingering bad spirits is clearly not to be found in the Catechism.
Nor are the many myths and legends. The myth of the travelling forests is instructive: when people are mean, greedy and cruel, the forest leaves them and travels elsewhere. In a country that’s 50% forest even now, that’s significant. All that and much more preserved from the immemorial past defines what it is to be Estonian.
The buried and forgotten pagan layer is the fifth part of the Euro peoples’ spiritual DNA. One who considers the trees of his native land holy will not turn them over to the custody of imported Mexican tax-eaters or hateful Somali “refugees.” One who beholds the glory of God also in the magnificence of nature will not become atheist turned off to Christianity just because he’s been taught in school about the Inquisition.
European neo-paganism has been sullied by the Nazis. Its current volkish resurrectors orbit around crypto-Rosenbergs (10) like Duke, MacDonald and Sunic, which doesn’t help. But a wholesome extraction of what was touching and beautiful in the native animist religions of the Northern Europeans would add a dose of immunity to Anglo-Saxon Christians and other Christian Whites currently in a self-cancelling pursuit of the Lamb and oblivious to all the bees buzzing about.
For Americans, who don’t have the rootedness of a hundred preceding generations living in the same land, it behooves to pay attention to Chief Seattle’s speech, describing the land where they do now have tenure of several generations:
“Every part of this soil is sacred in the estimation of my people. Every hillside, every valley, every plain and grove, has been hallowed by some sad or happy event in days long vanished. Even the rocks, which seem to be dumb and dead as the swelter in the sun along the silent shore, thrill with memories of stirring events connected with the lives of my people, and the very dust upon which you now stand responds more lovingly to their footsteps than yours, because it is rich with the blood of our ancestors, and our bare feet are conscious of the sympathetic touch. Our departed braves, fond mothers, glad, happy hearted maidens, and even the little children who lived here and rejoiced here for a brief season, will love these somber solitudes and at eventide they greet shadowy returning spirits.”
But here too, one must exercise the same intellectual rigor as is called for in reading and interpreting the Bible. First, we cannot know what Chief Seattle actually said. The date of his speech in 1854 is disputed; he spoke in the Lushootseed language that only one of the assembled understood and live-interpreted into Chinook. A third person interpreted the Chinook into English. Yet a fourth person, Dr. Henry A. Smith, took partial notes of the English version from which years later he reconstructed Seattle’s speech. Another version has Seattle speaking in the Duwamish language, which Dr. Smith – who may have only been a “Doctor” - allegedly understood and was able to capture on the fly in his English notes.
Henry Smith published his version of Seattle’s speech in 1887, with a 30+ year delay. No other record of the speech was made. Smith’s original notes and his manuscript have not been found. Besides, one who would let his brain dissolve in an uncritical noble savage myth ought to remember that the tribes of the Pacific Northwest, like all Indian tribes, lived in a state of constant internecine warfare. Chief Seattle himself kept Indian slaves captured at war.
If such ambiguities exist about an event on American soil witnessed 155 years ago by men living within recent memory, it’s no wonder that people with high brain wattage, though born Christian, cannot accept the alleged inerrancy of descriptions of events by unknown non-witnesses to Christ’s life and death 2000 years ago in a foreign land that very few now living know anything about. They do accept the prescriptions, but only to the extent that they coalesce with a Socialist agenda that is the chief refuge of those who no longer perceive God’s presence in this world.
To turn Christianity into a branch office of the Swedish Social Democratic Workers’ Party, which is the universal case now, is blasphemy of the highest order. And to validate that via unverifiable reports of walking on water or out of a sealed tomb is a sorry myopia with regard to the true miracle that even the littlest bee evinces.
But all that is an issue for another day. This being December, it behooves us to close by remembering Christmas. Here is the opening of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Christmas Oratorio:
Jauchzet, frohlocket! auf, preiset die Tage, Shout for joy, exult, rise, glorify the day,
Rühmet, was heute der Höchste getan! Praise what today the Highest has done!

Bach signed all his scores SDG, for Soli Deo Gloria, to show where all those notes were coming from and going to. But they came from his privileged genes too: 80 Bachs before and after J.S. have been musicians.
God abhors equality and does not grant equal opportunity or outcome, except to share in His grace. The multitudes of Christian and Jewish repairers of His works ought to remember that. Humility and gratitude are in order, not the catastrophic arrogance of reengineering man and society.

We concluded the last installment with a video of the opening of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Christmas Oratorio. It was Yuletide alright but there was a broader reason.
The venue is the glorious Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) in Dresden. The superb orchestra, Staatskapelle Dresden, is the world’s oldest (over 450 years), and still one of the very best. The magnificent choir is sane “diversity” like 50 years ago: men and women, native Germans with a few European immigrants and one Oriental woman, undoubtedly chosen on merit. Protestants, Catholics, atheists and agnostics in a Lutheran church singing a glorious composition by a Lutheran genius, parts of which, later recycled, he had composed in homage to two Saxon Catholic-convert princes. The conductor, among the world’s finest, is Vladimir Jurowski, a German immigrant of Russian-Jewish origin.
To appreciate how unusual all this is, one must reach back in history and retrace evolutionary threads. Dresden is the capital of Saxony. Saxons wrested this territory from the indigenous pagan Slavs, who had lived there since times immemorial. Dresden’s name was once Sorbian, Drežďany. The Saxons, pagan too, lived in constant strife with Christianizing armies from the West, until subdued and forcibly converted after eighteen bloody wars (772-804 AD) with Charlemagne.
Dresden Castle was from mid-16th century the seat of the Wettin rulers of Saxony. But in Martin Luther’s time, their seat was still 75 miles away, in Wittenberg. The Reformation was the combined work of Luther’s brain and the Wettins’ shield. As of 1546, for 102 years Saxony and other German principalities would become a battlefield between Catholics and Protestants, each killing, plundering, starving and inflicting plagues on the other by the hundred thousands, allegedly for Jesus, and wiping out one third of Germany’s population in the process.
As to Jews, Jurowski, standing in that church, would have been seized by the crowd in 1349 and burned at the stake along with other Dresden Jews for the presumed poisoning of wells. In 1449, 1549 or 1649 he could not have been there at all, for Jews had been expelled and proscribed until the early 1700s. In 1882, he would have witnessed in Dresden the First International Anti-Jewish Congress, and in 1936 he’d have been stripped of all his civic rights, even a right to own a pet, and eventually exterminated. Much of this got its propulsive force from the special brand of German national antisemitism that Martin Luther defined in 1543 in his On the Jews and Their Lies, and Hitler’s deputies professed to implement as per the Good Doctor’s prescription (1).
Dresden, a glory of Baroque architecture, culture and 18th century industry, paid a heavy price for such evil. The 1945 Allied bombing killed tens of thousands of its people and turned it to ruins, including its Frauenkirche. The population that survived the bombs suffered calamities at the hands of the Russian occupying forces. After that came the grey, numbing oppression of the communists; Dresden is, after all, where Vladimir Putin’s star rose at the KGB.
It’s knowing all this that makes the ecumenical assembly at the Frauenkirche so prized, for it’s a vivid manifestation of how far Germany has travelled from its previous crimes, follies and tragedies. But the many can no longer gauge this path, for what was until the 50s the intellectual capital imparted by Western society to the average high school graduate has been adulterated, devalued and falsified in the same way that fiat dollars or French francs have been.
It’s no longer possible even for most Western university graduates to discern such twists and turns in a long skein, that make history, human action, accumulated wisdom and standards of beauty and excellence intelligible. All has been traduced in the name of suppressing nationalism and Christianity in Europe, and faking the putative equality of white, black and brown cultures and aptitude for intellectual achievement in the United States.
Where there has been no input of relevant data, the synapses die off, illumination ceases and darkness descends. Surely a different Dark Age than its predecessor, but then history occurs first as tragedy, then as farce, and then comes around as tragedy again. One who still has the lantern however, knows, for he sees, that Germany has again travelled much too far: so far that it’s on lethal quicksand one more time.
A country in which demented Green Marxist twerps like Joschka Fischer and Daniel Cohn-Bendit can become powerful and respected politicians, and a gobbledygook-spouting postmodernist Marxist tautologist like Jürgen Habermas can become the No. 1 public intellectual, is in a very bad predicament and doesn’t even know it. Underneath the prosperous, benevolent facade lies Germany that has done away with itself, as per Thilo Sarrazin’s famous book’s title (2).
A country whose very rulers of Dresden once commanded armies against invading Turks, now has four million Turks living in it, plus at least as many legal and illegal Pakistanis, Afghans, Bosnians, Arabs, Iranians, and black Africans. Their fertility rate is double and triple that of Germans, and their euphemistically called “youths” are already grooming the indigenous Eloi for the future their descendants will inherit.
Again, the wheel is turning. This is how Germans received B. Hussein Obama in 2008. And this is how they received Adolph Hitler in 1935. It’s the same, brainwashed zeitgeist-for-imbeciles, with evil consequences, and it’s everywhere. “We are the hollow men/ We are the stuffed men/ Leaning Together/ Headpiece filled with Straw/ Alas!” wrote T.S. Eliot in “The Hollow Men.”
The present foolishness is thematically the polar opposite of the past one, which for broken-brain men— easily five sixths of mankind — wraps all the goodness in opposition to the former that held all the badness. In the mirror of history however, reflected in the circular cosmology of the East, these are two quantum twins: a quark and an anti-quark. The future evil consequences of Hitler were as plainly visible in 1935 as were in 1985 the future evil consequences of the Western peoples’ doing away with themselves. Yet the crowds just boogie to each successive Pied Piper of Hamelin.
The Spanish writer Sebastián Vivar Rodríguez limned the paradox of the Eurabian gambit in his lament “Europa murió en Auschwitz”: what have we done, importing 20 million Muslim to Europe to make up for the murder of 6 million Jews. As though self-dissolution by primitive, Christian-and-Jew-hating Muslims can expiate for past acceptance, even approval, of the Nazi slaughter of the Jewish kin of Heine, Freud, Zweig, Mahler, Mendelssohn, Modigliani, Wittgenstein, Einstein, Teller, Salk, Bohr, von Neumann, von Mises, Levi Strauss, Samuel Goldwyn, Peter, Paul and Jesus.
The Holocaust and Europe’s guilt over the fate of its Jews is central to understanding how “racism” has become the dirtiest word in white man’s vocabulary and “fascism” lurks behind any social truth the left doesn’t like. Though superficially different, America’s self-destruction since the mid-60s operates by the same mechanism of expiation for the wrongs of slavery, Jim Crow and sexism that can do nothing for the long-dead victims but debauches their descendants and destroys the future of their country.
Fifty (in some aspects 100) years of the Long March of “Progressive” education has molded young brains with a thoroughness that Hitler and Stalin would have appreciated. Both stressed the importance of shaping and controlling the malleable minds of the young. By now, all Westerners under-60 have been raised in an intellectual environment permeated with fanciful utopian-socialist propaganda, subversive lies, self-hating psychoses, fraudulent racial myths, and inverse reality dogmas. Again, the template was set up early, and reinforced annually since; here is a sample from 1946:
“To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, loyalty to family tradition, national patriotism, and religious dogmas….We have swallowed all manner of poisonous certainties fed us by our parents, our Sunday and day school teachers, our politicians, our priests….The reinterpretation and eventual eradication of the concept of right and wrong which has been the basis of child training, the substitution of intelligent and rational thinking for faith in the certainties of old people, these are the belated objectives…for charting the changes in human behavior.” (3)
This brainwashing has been total, in the manner of the Nazi Gleichschaltung (“coordination of all aspects of life”). The young woman entering YWCA for a workout after a day of PC mind-bending in high school will find a banner above the entrance reading “Eliminating racism, empowering women.” If she is in England, the “C” for “Christian” being an embarrassment to the Body Snatchers in charge, this won’t even be YWCA anymore but “Platform 51.” Before she has left the building she will be urged to join a forum to “share” her “feelings, opinions and thoughts about race relations, diversity and immigration in a non defensive, non critical environment.” Eventually, she is hired to mouth mad malarkey on MSNBC.
When I buy a Kuhl brand shirt, it comes with a tag that reads “High Road for Human Rights Education Project.” Where was Kuhl with its message when we needed it, in 1512? By now they are just tweaking sinister chips installed in the brains of future serfs.
When I go to church on Sunday, I find that “Thou shalt not commit adultery” is now written as “Accept our sexuality and use it wisely according to God’s will.” People who rewrite Moses this way know zip about God’s will. Where was their tolerance when the Church routinely incinerated sodomites? It’s always much too much, much too late, and just compounding the earlier insanity via mirror image insanity.
In Berlin, large events and edifices thrust Jewish themes at the visitor, from festivals of synagogue music to the 5-acre Holocaust Memorial, to the Jewish Museum where one walks on screaming iron faces. Where was Germany when real people’s faces were screaming 70 years ago? Rather than the lavish honoring of millions murdered who should not have been, a Memorial that could do more good now is for the screaming faces of autochthon dhimmi Germans 70 years from now. That screaming can still be averted, for the writing is on the wall, now (4).
The constant thread visible in 350 years of the kulturkamf since the Enlightenment is that each side resolutely ignores its own stupidity, fanaticism, greed and lust for power that causes the cosmic pendulum to swing away from it to the far reaches of the opposite camp’s stupidity, fanaticism, greed and lust for power. The struggle between the Right and Left, egalitarian and elitist, religious and secular versions of what it means to be a human and how society ought to function resembles a typical jury trial that starts from a lying “Not Guilty” plea and ends with that party winning that bested the other at manipulating a group of emotive rubes.
Just as Germany is assuming Europe’s leadership in a drive to a fiscal union, post-nationalism, forfeiture of liberty, abolition of ethnic self-determination, multiculti diversity, Islamization and “antifascism,” the pendulum is swinging back to the opposite zone of darkness where moldy lies of a different kind propagate. Much of it transpires in Dresden, as Saxony, being former commie-land, did not go through the denazification process. In 2004, it gave 9.2% of its votes to the German Neo-Nazi NPD party.
Thousands of Nazi admirers march periodically in Dresden for the usual causes: the vileness of Jews particularly in Israel and America, Holocaust denial or the unjust victimhood of Germany in World War II. And they, like Third Position parties and American “White Nationalists” weld such evil drivel in one package with legitimate grievances against the ruling Snatchers’ gradual dilution, circumvention and dispossession of the White ethny, the dilapidation of BRA (Black-Run-America) and MAFRE (Muslim-and-Female-run-Europe), the sickness of the GLBT cult, radical feminism, liberal judicial tyranny, reign of hedonism, and so on. No other political agency has the courage to raise the latter topics, for the Western ruling elites did their own welding of racial, gender and cultural truth to the lies of blanket race or gender contempt as one taboo “racism and misogynism” package.
And so we careen from one tainted formula to its poisoned antidote. Over time, to each vast falsehood there comes an opposite falsehood that sweeps its predecessor away. To each massive injustice there is an upending backlash, for the judge of history and destiny cannot be fooled but temporarily. Hence regenerating the West must start from what appears superficially as a utopian quest for truth. Truth not because it validates one belief or another, but because it stands sovereign. Sea of malaise
The West is now at a critical juncture not seen at least since 1920s, and in some respects, since the 1st century AD when the End of Times seemed imminent. Every component and institution of the ruling elite, every value it promotes and enforces, in every Western country, seems hypocritical, malignant, the whole thing reeling toward the ash-heap of history.
Vampire banksters captured the political process and skimmed off exorbitant riches while hoisting society onto leveraged stilts of fictitious debt, layers upon layers of it with over $700 trillion – ten times planet Earth’s Gross National Product – in derivative paper alone. Corrupt politicians transferred the banksters’ bad bets and the EU socialists’ soured gambles onto the account books of Western taxpayers, i.e. the little people. Central banks are “printing” to provide the wherewithal for this economic malpractice. This erodes the net worth of the West’s middle class, particularly the prudent savers, fixed income retirees, hundreds of millions of people who played by the rules in order to find out at the end that there are no rules, not even laws. Laws are for the little people; the Jamie Dimons and John Corzines do what they want with impunity.
The vaunted globalization has merely built channels for global contagion by biological and financial viruses. Transfer of wealth from the North to the South and of technology from the West to the East was accompanied by a transfer of population in the reverse direction: perhaps the worst deal any civilization has made in history. Both prongs of this deal have built up external and internal enemies with nothing to show for it but more zeroes in the bank accounts of corporate CEOs, larger power bases for socialist politicians, minarets piercing Western skies like missiles on launching pads, and missiles on launching pads piercing Eastern skies like minarets. NATO is in Afghanistan, and Afghanistan is in Stockholm, Leeds and Boston. To evade admitting responsibility for this tide of ominous dysfunction, the rulers have instituted a regime of harassment of native White populations in the name of “security” and “tolerance” instead of dealing with the real sources of insecurity and intolerability.
Things are reverting to their intrinsic value. Recently, thieves sawed off and stole a bronze sculpture by Barbara Hepworth that stood in Dulwich Park, in London. The sculpture was valued at £500,000. It will fetch under £1,000 when melted. But £1,000 can still buy lots of matches and toilet paper for barter against flour and sugar in the coming intrinsic value economy.
The young ones — pierced, tattooed and pansexual — have 500 channels of garbage to sift at will on every manner of electronic device imaginable. Their brains plugged into bud earphones pile-driving inchoate shrieks in Ebonics, their fingers picking busily at tiny keyboards to exchange Sarc 1 messages with equally apped morons, they are the Children of Hamelin ripe for plucking by any pied piper. The old ones, who remember what being civilized; American, French or Dutch; man, woman or child meant and how products not made in China felt, are dying off.
Conservatives blame much of this on the rise of secularism, abandonment of the Church and its teachings, the sexual revolution and its subversion of the family. The more embittered New Right blames it on the Joos: Marx but not Engels; Freud but not Jung; Adorno, not Gramsci; Goldman Sachs, not JP Morgan.
The remnants of the fanatics of yore, largely Catholic or Orthodox, know just where we have gone wrong. “Remove all Zionists from any government position,” writes one such savant in a comment at the Economic Policy Journal. “Place crucifixes on all schoolrooms hospitals, government offices. Re-introduce the Inquisition to assure all government employees, teachers, lawyers, military personnel, politicians and anyone having to do with public well being are True Christians meaning Catholic. Then and only then will we have a just and fair government under God. Not under Satan as it is now. Sancta María, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatóribus.”
To which I can only apply the words of my favorite True Christian, friend of Popes and Professor of Christian Theology, Fr. Józef Tischner: “Religion is for the wise. And if someone is stupid, he should not use religion to disguise his stupidity” (5).
Another precept, now widely accessible due to one of the few advantages of the global village, comes from the 17th century samurai warrior and Zen teacher, Suzuki Shosan:
“Be aware of yourself and know yourself. No matter how much you have learned and how much you know, if you don’t know yourself, you don’t know anything. Indeed, if you don’t know yourself you cannot know anything.”
Alas, save for a few monastic mystics and skewed secular methods like psychoanalysis, the Western tradition no longer contains tools for self-introspection. It has designated religious dogma as the vessel into which to pour and hopefully transmute one’s inner effluvia. Few succeed, except by turning into Christ’s Lambs destined for shearing or slaughter.
Republican pundits who parade America’s religiosity as a warranty of a better future than what awaits Europe’s heathen-socialists, are sadly misguided. The 76% Christian and still 66% white America voted an Afro-socialist, Muslim facilitator “community organizer” into office as U.S. President. It’s a demos scarfing cupcakes by the half-dozen and gobbling MSM junk food brands like Lilo and J-Lo, Kim and Snookie, Usher and Kanye. Even if one looks at the most hope-inspiring “religious-conservative patriot” segment, it’s they who made a meth-sniffing, male-hooker patronizing super-salesman with a glued-on smile into pastor of the largest church in America, president of the National Association of Evangelicals, and spiritual godfather of the U.S. Air Force Academy. That’s just a scratch of the surface of a massive feel-good industry rife with charlatans of every stripe. It’s beyond pathetic.
Christianity is in the vital marrow of the West. The aggressive secularism of Western Europe and its Amen Corner among America’s leftists has not led to a better future on a wiser path. It has turned into another gnostic religion, a Peace-Justice-and-Tolerance cult that has been ramming its Moloch of Equality into the intractable throat of Reality. It’s already certain who has won this battle; the only doubt is when Reality will assess the full measure of its victor’s ransom, and how devastating it will be.
It would do much good to bring Christianity back as a strong source of vitality, unity and prevalence. For this, we need to examine why it’s no longer a source of vitality and prevalence, for a source of unity it has rarely been anyway. We will set up our lantern in rarely accessed territory, to yield a new view. Whose Christianity?
The West is suffering from yin toxemia. Yin – one of the two eternal opposing forces that make up the dynamic structure of all things in Creation — is the female principle: passive, light and airy, acidic, expansive, yielding, and cold like water. Yin is the essence of liberalism, multiculturalism, lunatic (yin connotes the moon) “inclusiveness” that refuses to discriminate (i.e. to discern). It is pacifist rules of engagement in combat, pregnant lesbian sailors on submarines, deference to invading barbarians, prostration before Islam, capitulation to lawfare, compassion toward stone-cold killers, welfare for wastrels etc. In an arrogant and stubbornly denied pattern, every popular Western political and cultural trend and trend-setter is pouring more yin of this kind into a society already suffering from a yin overdose, squirting more accelerant onto concentrated acid.
All this is an automatic response to the excesses of the Third Reich, before that, World War I, and before that, the Roman and Holy Roman Empire. In the 1914 – 1945 period, Western civilization had waded into such excesses of yang that it developed a toxemia opposite to its present one. Yang stands for maleness, hardness, force, dominance, heaviness, constriction, action, fire. The West had not seen such intoxication with yang as under Hitler, and just before him, in the mud fields of Belgium and France, since Roman times.
By the year 30 AD, Western civilization had been compacting into a pure yang package since Alexander, i.e. for 370 years. It had poisoned itself with mayhem, pathological brutality and inhumanity. The Judeans had experienced it so intensely under the rule of their Seleucid Greeks and then Roman conquerors, that it led to massive insurrections against the Greeks under Judas Maccabeus in the 160s BC, three wars against the Romans in the years 66 – 135 AD, and multiple, bloody insurrections against the ruling Sadducean elite in between.
Judaism itself had hardened into a misogynistic-patriarchal, racist cult uniting extreme religious fanaticism with the obsessive formalism of burnt offerings at the Temple. The theocratic elite attending to the Temple lived well from the half shekel tax imposed on every Jewish male. Furthermore, the last kings of Judah, heirs to the Hasmonean dynasty and High Priests themselves, were tyrants whose cruel oppression led to frequent civil revolts and reprisal massacres. Alexander Yannai (103 BC -76 BC), for instance, crucified 800 Pharisee opponents on a single occasion while holding a lavish banquet.
Into that yang world came Jesus (6). His message of love, forgiveness and concern for the meek and poor was the perfect dose of yin to cure yang toxemia and move society toward a more wholesome equilibrium. Moreover, according to multiple textual and historical indications, Jesus was an apocalyptic prophet predicting the destruction of the world in his disciples’ lifetime (7). Paul, the Apostles, all 1st century Christians, believed fervently in the imminence of the apocalypse (8).
The extreme yin ethos embedded in Christian teachings is fit for a world that’s about to end, a world in which a carpenter lives with his family in a perpetually dark, one room hovel, has one garment but many masters of life and death in Jerusalem, Caesarea and Rome, and the punishment for “seditious speech” may be the flaying of the flesh with hot iron combs. It is hardly fit for the world 20 centuries later, which is at the highest peak of soft and decadent yin – among Christians and Jews only – in history.
However, to admit that Jesus was an apocalyptic prophet is to admit that his prophecy failed (9). That was and remains impossible relative to a cosmic entity that the Nicene Creed defines (in the redacted 381 AD version) as “The only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds, Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father.” And so Christians continue with a map of Judea drafted in the 1st century and behaving as though it shows the terrain of the world in the 21st century. This is exacerbated by leftist reinterpreters of Christianity like New Testament scholar Marcus Borg (and others in the “Jesus Seminar”), who push a vision of Jesus as a charismatic leftist radical, working for social change. Si se puede, said a latter-day impostor in this vein, “We are the one we have been waiting for.”
Those who oppose the West’s cultural, demographic and economic self-disembowelment often want to go back to the old-time religion. But the momentum for the turn of the wheel had come from the old-time religion. Past wars, conformist oppression, persecutions, obscurantism, sexual repression, excessive prudery and other madness were fuelled by the Church animating the State. Even America, at its beginnings, was a theocracy established by victims of European theocracy. The inevitable counterstroke started with the Reformation and the Enlightenment, and continues to this day.
The seeds of a plant prone to withering were sown early. Fanatical Greek Christian theologians (e.g. Marcion, John Chrysostom) grafted onto the nascent religion the endemic Seleucid hatred of Jews, with suitable redacting of the Gospels and twisting of the meaning of the Hebrew Bible (which continues to this day, e.g. by the Christian Identity people). Eventually, they severed Jesus, Mary and the Apostles from their Jewishness, and the New Testament from the Old. Then came the North African Church Fathers like Augustine, Cyprian and Tertullian, with their own brand of fanaticism unknown among contemporaneous Greek or Roman pagans and Northern animists. Appropriately, Cyprian coined Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus (Outside the church there is no salvation), as though he had any clue or right to opine on the salvation of Karelians or Koreans, animists or Taoists.
Early Church Fathers kneaded Paul’s ideas plus imported pagan Greek notions into a Neo-Platonian creed about Jesus, whereas the creed of Jesus as relayed in the canonical Gospels was a radically reformed and non-Trinitarian Judaism. Jesus’ creed was expressed with greater fidelity in the Arian version of Christianity, then ascendant and common among the European aristocracy but banned at the Nicene Council in 325 AD.
Arius, like Jesus and Jeremiah before him, like Socrates, Cato the Younger, Cicero, Joan of Arc, William Wallace, Jan Hus, Jacques de Molay, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Churchill in the 1945 election or Goldwater in the 1964 election, Van Gogh or Juhan Liiv, Galileo then or James Watson recently, fell victim to the human aversion to carriers of the true, the pure and the beautiful.
The fanaticism and the Platonism created two voids. First, by severing Christianity’s link to its Judaic roots embedded in historical experience, the Church swathed its flock in a shroud of absolutist theology detached from Reality and pragmatic wisdom. Second, by wiping out Europe’s indigenous religions along with their practitioners, the Church cleaved the White (and later, non-white) peoples from their empirically-based folk ways and from Nature’s wisdom itself. Had that connection been preserved, as it is in Shinto and to a lesser degree in Baltic cultures like Estonia’s, the peoples of the West would not have fallen so easily for materialism, nihilism, postmodernism, multiculturalism, do-goodism, GLBTism and other daft isms — all shadow plays in Plato’s cave in the brains of solipsists cut off from ways of experiential knowing.

For the next 1600 years, the best brains in Europe would struggle to rationalize Christianity, pare it down to its ethical core and reframe Jesus’ divinity and its theology in a way that would purge the dross and put an end to internecine Christian slaughter. A small sample of the better recognized names would include John Wycliffe, Jan Hus and Matthew Tindal among the prestigious theologians; Erasmus, Grotius, Hobbes, Bacon and Voltaire among the intellectuals; Chaucer, Boccaccio, Goethe and Schiller among writers of genius; Mozart and Beethoven among musicians; Keppler, Leibnitz, Newton among scientists and mathematicians; Frederick II (1220s), Rudolf II (1610s) and James I (1610s) among kings and emperors.
The quest for the historical Jesus started by mid-18th century, when historiographic and text analysis methods had progressed far enough, and the threat of auto-da-fe no longer thwarted freedom of thinking. More recently, great artists attempted to restore humaneness to this most influential and noblest human who ever lived, whatever his supernatural dimensions. Nikos Kazantsakis wrote The Last Temptation of Christ, promptly condemned by the Church of Greece and proscribed by the Roman Catholic Church; Jose Saramago wrote The Gospel According to Jesus Christ that brought him censure from the Portuguese parliament; Robert Graves (with Joshua Podro) wrote, among his 140 books, The Nazarene Gospel Restored, that engendered two libel lawsuits; Luis Buñuel made The Milky Way, perhaps the most profound theological film ever, pro-Christ but contra-Church.
By the 1950s, even revisionism was no longer sufficient to keep the better brains within the Christian fold. Scientists and jurists, cardiologists and novelists, engineers and philosophers have left the Church, any church, in droves. Empirical science could no longer sustain supernatural claims. Moreover, the intellectual left had trained its canons on all the follies and missteps of Christianity past, while omitting its blessings and benefits. The Christian community at large kept fighting the science instead of admitting its validity but challenging its exclusive claim on truth. Rather than owning up to past missteps but showing the much greater balance of positives, it kept skirting the crimes and denying the missteps (10). This brought further erosion, and eventual capitulation of the different denominations and their slide into do-good, activist-leftist movements.
Christianity proper is now mainly the province of Christians in name only, or obscurantist yokels, fanatical chauvinist-nationalists of the sort that didn’t do well by Orthodox Czarist Russia or Opus Dei Spain, or people who, however bright and educated, could not withstand the internal work of resolving the pains and fears of their lives and sought refuge in irrationality instead. Christianity’s political expression is weak or ineffectual, for most of the smart people have defected to the opposition. Christian America ran toward the diversionary smoke screen of Family Values when, behind its back, its cashbox was being emptied and its sovereignty hobbled. It was up in arms about Bill Clinton’s cigar when its military secrets were being sold to PR China.
Yet, to paraphrase Benjamin Franklin, one of the greatest and smartest skeptics of them all, we now see what men are without religion, and it’s more wicked than what they were with it. Indeed, the greatest gathering of superior brains and character ever– a gathering of such unlikely uniqueness that it alone can sustain faith in God – was that of America’s Founding Fathers. All Christian, but of a kind more masculine and traditional, yet more radical and enlightened than what avails now.
In what they believed and were there is, embedded, a key to a better future.

(9) Every phrase on a topic like this has centuries of rift, thousands of published pages and tens of thousands of dead “heretics” imbedded in it. Mark, writing 35 years after the Crucifixion but before the 70 AD destruction of the Temple, quotes Jesus as predicting the End of Time in that generation. Matthew and Luke, writing 20 years after Mark, and John, 10 years later yet, all put pen to vellum after the destruction of the Temple and the crushing of Judea. But the world still exists and Son-of-Man didn’t come. Each therefore puts different words in Jesus’ mouth to extend the apocalyptic time frame and therefore the prophecy’s credibility. An article from Bloomberg.com reports: “The chief psychiatrist for California’s overcrowded prison system was paid $838,706 in 2010, more than any other state employee that year, payroll figures released today show. The doctor, whose name wasn’t released, had a salary range of $261,408 to $308,640, according to data released today by California Controller John Chiang. The total compensation was raised by bonuses or payout of unused vacation time, according to the controller’s office.”
Bonuses and unused vacation time to the tune of almost half a million dollars? Oh, come on now! This is truly truly mind-boggling. The state unions fund the Democrat Party and the Democrats give the unions these insanely lucrative contracts, and I mean INSANE.
The article continues “The figures show that the 10 highest-paid state employees each earned more than $500,000 in 2010, for a total of $6.2 million. All but three were doctors or dentists for the Corrections Department. Joe Dear, the chief investment officer at the California Public Employees Retirement System, ranked seventh with a gross pay of $548,142, the data show. Terry Thornton, a spokeswoman for the prison system, didn’t immediately respond to a telephone request for comment.”
No, I imagine she didn’t. I mean, what the devil is she going to say? California spends about three times as much per prisoner as Texas or Florida does. There is absolutely no reason for these astronomical salaries and benefits. In fact, a prison could probably be run much better with remote-controlled robots, reducing the danger and therefore eliminating any “need” for high-salaried prison guards.
I don’t care what the excuse for these insane salaries is. This is corruption. Period. It simply has to be. There is no conceivable legitimate reason for paying that kind of money to state-employed medical people, in any field. It is a kick-back system for the Democrat party at the expense of California taxpayers.
Who is running this lunatic state? California is borrowing $40 million dollars per day just to pay welfare alone.
The organization FAIR has estimated the cost of illegal aliens to California to be $35.89 million per day ($13.1 billion per year). California could wipe out it’s borrowing by 90 percent if they simply deported the illegal aliens. Unfortunately illegal alien-lovers like Senate President pro Tem Darrell Steinberg and Governor Jerry Brown see illegal aliens as future Democrat voters, and they refuse to do anything to discourage illegals such as passing laws making it impossible for illegals to get jobs or rent apartments as other states have done.
California has a majority non-White population, and non-Whites consistently vote Democrat. Apparently they lack the common sense of White people, who will give the other political party a chance in times of desperation. The Republicans apparently never will have control of the legislature again and the state will continue to slide toward bankruptcy and a Third World status.
No wonder there’s a movement to split the state in two, leaving the welfare cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco in one half, and the more productive counties in the other half.
The Mexican conquest of the Southwest has been slightly slowed by a judge’s ruling in Phoenix although it remains to be seen whether anybody will pay any attention to it. The Obama regime has demonstrated that they’re simply going to ignore any law or legal obligation to deport illegal aliens.
A recent news article reports: “An administrative law judge ruled Tuesday that a Tucson school district’s ethnic studies program violates state law, agreeing with the findings of Arizona’s public schools chief. Judge Lewis Kowal’s ruling marked a defeat for the Tucson Unified School District, which appealed the findings issued in June by Superintendent of Public Instruction John Huppenthal. Kowal’s ruling, first reported by The Arizona Daily Star, said the district’s Mexican-American Studies program violated state law by having one or more classes designed primarily for one ethnic group, promoting racial resentment and advocating ethnic solidarity instead of treating students as individuals.”
“The judge, who found grounds to withhold 10 percent of the district’s monthly state aid until it comes into compliance, said the law permits the objective instruction about the oppression of people that may result in racial resentment or ethnic solidarity. ‘However, teaching oppression objectively is quite different than actively presenting material in a biased, political and emotionally charged manner, which is what occurred in (Mexican-American Studies) classes,’ Kowal wrote.”
In other words, Latinos have been taught in publicly-funded schools to hate White people for years now. The aging White population of Arizona including some escapees from California are desperately trying to undo years of liberalism through the creaking, senile workings of the democratic (small d) system and the law.
Several laws have been passed, most notably SB1070, the bill that would have actually done something to round up illegal aliens, but the Communist in the White House with the assistance of an activist federal judge has overruled the will of the people of Arizona… for now.
The “hate Whitey” curriculum at some public schools was a little harder to defend, and it’s been shot down for now. Will Obama continue to defy the will of the people or will the Supreme court apply some sanity to SB1070 and let Arizona help the Feds round up illegal aliens? One day the activist judges will be retired, and some of them may wind up in the same trucks deporting the illegal aliens.
On this, the holiest day of modern America’s liturgical calendar, we should revisit Samuel Francis’s writing on the significance of Martin Luther King Jr.
Yet, incredibly — even after thorough documentation of King’s affiliations with communists, after the revelations about his personal moral flaws, and after proof of his brazen dishonesty in plagiarizing his dissertation and several other published writings — incredibly there is no proposal to rescind the holiday that honors him. Indeed, states like Arizona and New Hampshire that did not rush to adopt their own holidays in honor of King have been vilified and threatened with systematic boycotts. The continuing indulgence of King is in part due to simple political cowardice — fear of being denounced as a “racist” — but due also to the political utility of the King holiday for those who seek to advance their own political agenda. Almost immediately upon the enactment of the holiday bill, the King holiday came to serve as a kind of charter for the radical regime of “political correctness” and “multiculturalism” that now prevails at many of the nation’s major universities and in many areas of public and private life…
To those of King’s own political views, then, the true meaning of the holiday is that it serves to legitimize the radical social and political agenda that King himself favored and to delegitimize traditional American social and cultural institutions — not simply those that supported racial segregation but also those that support a free market economy, an anti-communist foreign policy, and a constitutional system that restrains the power of the state rather than one that centralizes and expands power for the reconstruction of society and the redistribution of wealth. In this sense, the campaign to enact the legal public holiday in honor of Martin Luther King was a small first step on the long march to revolution, a charter by which that revolution is justified as the true and ultimate meaning of the American identity. In this sense, and also in King’s own sense, as he defined it in his speech at the Lincoln Memorial in 1963, the Declaration of Independence becomes a “promissory note” by which the state is authorized to pursue social and economic egalitarianism as its mission, and all institutions and values that fail to reflect the dominance of equality — racial, cultural, national, economic, political, and social — must be overcome and discarded.
By placing King — and therefore his own radical ideology of social transformation and reconstruction — into the central pantheon of American history, the King holiday provides a green light by which the revolutionary process of transformation and reconstruction can charge full speed ahead. Moreover, by placing King at the center of the American national pantheon, the holiday also serves to undermine any argument against the revolutionary political agenda that it has come to symbolize. Having promoted or accepted the symbol of the new dogma as a defining — perhaps the defining — icon of the American political order, those who oppose the revolutionary agenda the symbol represents have little ground to resist that agenda.
Sam is all too correct that “MLK writ large” has become the foundation of American identity; and in many ways, the situation is far worse than he depicted it in this 1998 article (which appeared in American Renaissance).
At the time, Sam described a pitched battle between MLK’s egalitarian “Dream” and “traditional American social and cultural institutions,” which he describes, in Cold War language, as “anti-Communist foreign policy” and Constitutional liberty.
What Sam might not have grasped in 1998, but understood fully later, is that by the turn of the 21st century, the MLK counter-culture was (and is)the Establishment. There are precious few “traditional American social and cultural institutions” that do not honor MLK and, indeed, treat “The Dream” as informing their missions.
And this is not solely the case for the more overtly liberal ones like the Department of Education. No less a putative bastion of conservative values than the U.S. Army is led by men like Four-Star General George Casey, who in 2009, in response to a Muslim Army Major who murdered 13 of his fellow soldiers as an act of Jihad, averred,
What happened in Fort Hood was a tragedy. But I believe it would become an even greater tragedy if our Diversity becomes a casualty. And it’s not just about Muslims. We have a very diverse Army; we have a very diverse society; and that gives us all strength.
MLK certainly unites the Left (tactical disputes between Malcolm X and the pacifist reverend have long since gone by the wayside). And in a strange way, he unites the Right as well. “Judged By The Content Of Their Character” is the central (if not sole) argument against multiculturalism and affirmative action offered forth by self-styled “conservatives.” And King is counted as an American icon and hero not only at left-wing and liberal gatherings but at those of the “Religious Right” and Beltway Republicans.
A one Glenn Beck—who in his radio and television programs and mass rallies, has created a kind of ideology or religion of MLK—might actually turn Sam’s polemic on its head and claim that MLK is the hero of American foreign policy and Constitutional government. And he would, in a sense, be correct—even in the matter of foreign affairs, in which Washington’s violent incursions into the Middle East are accompanied by promises that all shall vote, women shall attain undergraduate educations, and minorities shall be empowered.
The Conservative MLK Fantasy
Despite conservatives’ wishful thinking, “The Dream”—in all its manifestations—is the antithesis of a free society. Government’s enforcing that all people and businesses judge non-racially is in itself a totalitarian notion and has, in fact, resulted in a massive interventionist infrastructure and bureaucracy. (Rand Paul tepidly hinted at as much during his 2010 Senate campaign.) The costs of the industry of “civil rights” and “diversity training” in the workplace can be measured in the hundreds of billions, if not trillions, per year. (And pace conservative revisionism, the actual Martin Luther King unequivocally advocated most all of the measures done in his name.)
More deeply, “non-discrimination” as a value is the enemy of all tradition, not just the Anglo-Saxon American society it has helped destroy. “The Dream” (as it was articulated) images the individual as a race-less, family-less, class-less, history-less atom—happily experiencing equalitywith other atoms of various colors, all integrated by the marketplace and government. Conservatives might think it cute to quote some of King’s more libertarian utterances back at liberals, as a form of PC Judo. But in the end, they will be the losers of such a gambit.
Martin Luther King Jr., a fraud and degenerate in his life, has become the symbol and cynosure of White Dispossession and the deconstruction of Western civilization.
I’ve read rumors of it for a couple of days; it now appears to be quasi-official—Patrick Buchanan is out at MSNBC . . . or at least his future is decidedly “murky” at the network.

It appears that the new policy of US Cable News channel MSNBC is to punish, and where possible suppress, free speech.1 Regular conservative contributor, ex adviser to three American presidents and two time presidential election candidate, Pat Buchanan has been permanently suspended and may not be allowed back on air. MSNBC have taken this action because they do not like what he said in his new book “The Suicide of a Superpower” which analyses and explains the reasons behind the decline of the once great nation of America.
MSNBC President Phil Griffin is quoted as saying : “I don’t think the ideas that Buchanan put forth are appropriate for national dialogue on MSNBC. He won’t be coming back during the book tour.” Asked if Buchanan would be be back at all, Griffin replied “I have not made my decision.”
The Liberal elite in America is outraged that Buchanan’s brilliantly researched book directly links the decline in America’s power, the dire state of her economy and near collapse of social cohesion on multiculturalism, mass non-European immigration and shrinking of the white majority. These are views which are an anathema to those who currently have their jackboots on the throats of the Western media, and views which they will go to any length to prevent being expressed, especially by individuals with the profile of Pat Buchanan.
To paraphrase George Orwell, we have reached a point within our society where to speak the truth is an act of revolution, it is an act which puts you and your livelihood at significant risk, because, if you speak the truth the liars and the tyrants will try to crush you. It is no longer just the little man, or woman, who speaks out of turn on a tram or a football terrace who they seek to destroy, they are now going after the titans.
However, we have seen it all before, in the last century and further east, in cultures which were our current leaders spiritual homes, where the truth became a crime, as it is now becoming throughout the west.
It seems easy and trite to say that the Soviet Union did not die, it just moved west, but in fact, in many of the ways that matter, that is the truth. It is the same beast, it wears a different mask, but the same snarling jaws lurk behind it.
But before we relegate Pat to the history books, it’s worth remembering that he’s weathered countless attempts to to derail his career for the past 20 years—all of which have failed. These include a press-release-per-month issued from the ADL, as well as William F. Buckley’s more equivocal purge (if that’s the right word) in his “search” for anti-Semitism in the early ’90s.2 Buckley, in one of his many efforts to ingratiate neocons and placate organizations like the ADL, ended up declaring that Pat was not quite an anti-Semite, simply “iconoclastic” . . . Even this description reveals much about the Conservative Movement’s twin shibboleths of Majority advocacy and Israel, as well as Buckley’s own jealousy. Whatever the case, at the end of the day, Pat was simply too much of a good guy, to much of a friend to Washington insiders, and too much of a serious writer to be purged. So, I wouldn’t bet against Pat overcoming this latest turn of events.
If the Beltway and New York media do succeed in collectively shunning Pat, however, we will have entered a new phase of PC (and Majority dispossession.)
From a cynical standpoint, one might say that Pat wasn’t just tolerated by the mainline media for his experience and political acumen; he was kept on board as one of the last avatars of a traditional, Christian, and European America—if only to capture a particular viewing demographic and give Rachel Maddow something to express righteous liberal outrage over.
The absence of Pat would mean that the mainline media no longer tolerate a single voice that projects traditionalism and Majority nationalism. Not a hint. Nothing. Nada. (In such a case, we’re lucky that Pat’s book and writings remain.)
Thinking about Pat’s significance in the mainstream, I’m left with this thought. In 2001, Pat warned White Americans about demographic displacement and a general cultural decline. In 2011, Pat sounded the same themes; in many ways, Suicide of a Superpower was a sequel or reworking of the earlier volume.
In the decade that separates the two books, NOTHING WAS DONE.
The self-styled “Conservative Movement,” with which Pat identified throughout his early years, engaged in Middle East war-mongering for democracy and other pointless pursuits. No serious pro-White movement arose in response to Buchanan’s dire warnings—or at least none was successful.
A third “Death/Suicide” volume in 2021 probably would be greeted with less outrage than confused contempt. The Brazil-America of the foreseeable future—one with a large-and-growing African and Hispanic underclasses, an egalitarian civic creed, and an increasingly totalitarian state—will, no doubt, exist under dramatically reduced economic circumstances. But there’s no reason to believe that it would be any less self-confident and nationalistic than the country is today. Such a nation would view Pat’s defense of a paleo-America not as “conservative” and “right-wing”—but as heretical and absurd. At some point, Barack Obama and Rihanna will replace Davy Crocket and Vince Lombardi as representatives of the real America.

America does nice things all the time all around the world, and we are rewarded with contempt, hatred, and hostility. We are like the “Nice Guy” who gets to be alternately a sucker and an emotional punching bag, while the “Bad Boys” get to do what (and whom) they want.
Today, an Albanian Muslim terrorist was arrested in my neck of the woods. He’s from Kosovo, a criminal neighborhood that the Serbs were cleaning up until NATO decided to align with the Albanian terrorists in 1999 and bombed the hell out of the Serbs. The false pretenses of the war were soon exposed; indeed, they were many times flimsier than the WMD claims in Iraq. But it’s all down the memory hole now.
Thanks to American airpower, these Albanian clients run prostitution and drugs through the Balkans with little interference. Even their criminal leader Hacim Thaci is in on the act. Sometimes we get to harvest the fruits of their civilization, as in today’s terrorist bomb scare in Tampa. One of the worst consequence of Humanitarian Wars is that we often get a flood of refugees, even though these wars themselves are supposed to render fleeing from atrocities obsolete. We have Somalis, Haitians, Palestinians, Egyptians, Kurds, Iraqis, and every other people from the planet Earth living here on various asylum and refugee visas, often engaged in menial work at best and criminal terorrism at worst. We stupidly think the Muslim newcomers will be greatful for us “helping them” or for being exposed to our wonderful way of life, but let’s look at the record. We’ve helped them in Afghanistan it the 80s, in the entire Israeli-Palestinian peace process, today in Egypt and Afghanistan, yesterday in Somalia and Kuwait and Kosovo, and it makes no difference. We are hated. And sometimes we are killed. Let’s not forget Mohammad Atta and Khalid Sheikh Mohammad both spent a lot of time in the West. They hated the place too. Sami Osmakac’s ingratitude and hostility is not new.
Of course, not all Muslims are terrorists. Indeed, the vast majority are not. But Muslims are probably 100X more likely to be terrorists. When they’re not terrorists, they often obfuscate and make excuses for terrorism. They often are hostile to our country, even if they are nonviolent and do not formally endorse terrorism. Their marginal contributions to our collective life make their presence in our country a luxury (and more like a liability) that we simply cannot afford. Indeed, when the US acted tougher–as in bombing Libya to smithereens in 1986–its tough and unapologetic actions have paid much better dividends than our Nice Guy routine today in Iraq and Afghanistan. And when we acted tougher at home, such as in our rough treatment of Japanese and German agents and supporters in World War II, we found relatively little sabotage and domestic terrorism.
To deal with militant Islam we don’t necessarily need to do any favors for Muslims in Muslim lands. But whether we shoudl be activist or isolationist, we certainly don’t need to add to the Muslim threat at home by inviting “refugees” and others from the most alien and hostile civilization on earth. We must live in reality to remain an independent nation, just as we must learn about and master reality to live as self-respecting individual men.
The government is all we ever wanted. It is the big brother, big Sis, big mother and father. It is now the place where we look to buy a car, get a school loan, etc. It is as Thomas Jefferson once said: A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take everything you have.
It is big enough to take everything we have, because it is big enough to take from us the most important aspect of US, it has taken the individuality, the innovation, the creation of the American. It has turned us into nothing other than subjects of a popularly elected government. It has turned its principles on its head and made us into a bunch of government dependent fools. Is this who we are? Is this what makes us run?
There are those of us who would gladly be minutemen of the Second order, who would rally to the cause and put forth our lives to defend what is supposed to be ours by birthright. But, who would support our loss, our sacrifice, or would the rest simply wag their heads and say we did it the wrong way?
I have harped on this before, but we are already criminals to a criminal regime. Do you not understand? Did the NDAA not prove this? Did the total disregard of the Constitution during the recent White House usurpation of power by making recess appointments even when congress was NOT in recess not wake you up to the total disregard they have for the law? I beg of you to not just take all of this as another abuse, but the final abuse. It is the line crossed, because if the Constitution means nothing, then their power is derived from nothing. Theirs is simply a government by force, which is, by definition, a dictatorship, whoever is elected, whoever is willing to become traitors to the cause of liberty are criminals to our system of government. Being elected to a post wherein one pledges fidelity to the Constitution, who, by legal wrangling, eludes that obligation and obfuscates their intent is nothing but a traitor and should suffer the traditional fate of those who chose to defy their sworn oath. I don’t give a rat’s ass how they justify it, they are criminals in government and must be opposed in the most strenuous of terms.
Do I say this in a vacuum, where I expect my words to hold no weight? Do I expect to unleash the pent up hostility toward a government in massive violation of the entire purpose of our nation? Have we come so far and left so little behind that none of this means anything to our self-absorbed lives? Did the Romans not see their fate in every deviation from their founding? They did, they railed against it, but ultimately, they succumbed to it. Are we any better? NO, we are, if anything, worse.
The time for taking action is here, the time for doing more than talking has arrived. The Liberty Summit will soon reveal a place of congregation and soon we will make our stand against this tyranny, however soft it might seem to history, it is tyranny, it is criminal, it is a violation of law in the most fundamental form and all those who sit in government will be judged and the judgment will plague them through history.

While few other groups would welcome the Attorney General speak at their event, the NAACP did. His speech remained true to his usual pattern of vilifying white people. He claimed that South Carolina’s new voter ID law is an attack on minorities.
The AG is cuurently blocking South Carolina’s voter ID law from going into effect. Holder said the “achievements that defined the civil rights movement now hang in the balance” because of the voter ID law.
Holder categorized the voter ID law as “racially discriminatory” and part of “overt and subtle forms of discrimination” that “remain all too common.”
A huge mob of Latino immigrants, screaming in Spanish, attacked a group of three white teens in Orange County, CA. One of the victims had his head smashed in by multiple blows from bricks. He is comatose in critical condition. His father rushed into the attack and drug his son away and the Latino thugs beat him as well.
Three suspects — Filiberto Thomas Cordova, 23, Francisco Javier Sanchez, 29, and Gilberto Velazquez, 29 — have been charged with attempted murder and assault in the case. In addition, Velazquez and Sanchez face felony street terrorism charges for their alleged affiliation with the San Clemente-related Varrio Chico street gang, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s office.
An Orange County Sheriff’s Department spokesman did not return messages seeking confirmation that the charges were related to Friday’s assault, but the date and details in the D.A. complaint match up with the accounts of five witnesses interviewed by San Clemente Patch.
The brawl, which erupted around 11 p.m. near the corner of Avenida Rosa and Avenida Victoria, involved more than a dozen people, according to witnesses, police reports and fire officials.
Dan Jacobsen, one of the victims, got involved after hearing a commotion outside his apartment and running outside, where he saw his 19-year-old son and two friends arguing with several other men.
Suddenly, a white, two-door Chevy pickup sped to the stop sign at the end of Rosa from the direction of El Camino Real, and several men got out, he said.
Jacobsen, who pulled away some of the attackers and was injured in the process, said he dragged his son — who had been knocked unconscious — to the concrete stairs of their apartment, where a faint bloodstain remained Tuesday.
Jacobsen said it was then he saw the attackers descend en masse on the victim who is now comatose.
“They were beating on him,” Jacobsen said. “[The man in the coma] got hit at least three times.”
The media insults the victims by calling it “a brawl.” If the races had been reversed, this would be the biggest news story in the nation.

So like any good tag-team wrestler, I now tag in to continue the beating while the ref is ignoring me and berating my teammate for his brutal chops.

As part of their winter break, the cadets are spending a week with the Alvin and League City Police departments and getting a firsthand look at how the justice system works.
“These guys are all the upper echelon,” Dr. Phillip Lyons said of the cadets.
Lyons is a professor in the College of Criminal Justice at Sam Houston State University. He said of the 10,000 people who apply to the Chinese police college, only 1,000 get in.
The Chinese police college is a blend of law school, a social science degree and a police academy, Lyons said. Of the students that get into the college, only 36 are admitted into the International Policing Cooperation program, and finally, only 16 get the chance to come study at Sam Houston State University.
The cadets will spend a year taking classes alongside the university’s other students. By coming to League City and Alvin, the cadets will gain experience in the community-policing model that will be useful to the cadets as policing in China evolves, Lyons said.
I guess they forgot to mention “intense political indoctrination” as part of their Chinese police training, but hey, why be redundant? It’s not like we don’t use government employment to build voting blocs here.
If I apply the Iron Law of bureaucracy, then this idea will surely have to grow. After all, only eeevil racist white domestic terrorists could disagree with something as fine and upstanding as The International Policing Cooperation program. It has to be a good idea…right? So next year, we need to double our numbers to show “growth”. Which means more administrators for the program. And jobs! Maybe spread the program to many other institutions teaching criminal justice.
But why stop there? Why not hook up the Chinese police with the TSA? I mean…if we really want to show them the very best.
But why stop there? Why not make the training more realistic, deputize them and let them “assist?” You know, the routine, mundane jobs like writing speeding tickets at first. Then maybe let them ride shotgun on another Guerena raid to reinforce the idea that every “Jose Guerena” chalk outline is free.
I just wonder how long it will be until the first one of these kids gets injured or killed while out on patrol. Or maybe one of these kids has to respond with force to protect their “partner” and injures or kills an American? What could possibly go wrong with this idea?
So we influence them with our policing practices and they influence police with their communist doctrine. Let me guess, one of the totally predictable quotes from some of the policemen is “how similar we really are.” Indeed. As a bonus, maybe the program can grow to massive proportions so that we all get comfortable with the idea of having a Chinese person in the car along with our “normal” police officers. A Chinaman in every police cruiser, I say!

I guess it would be too obvious of a creditor nation to take possession of a debtor nation Red Dawn style. Slower is better, wouldn’t want to rouse the Wolverines-or Honey Badgers-or whatever cute but ferocious mascot we have these days.
The warning signs are all around us. All we have to do is open up our eyes and look at them. Almost every single day there are more prominent voices in the financial world telling us that a massive economic crisis is coming and that we need to prepare for the worst. On Wednesday, it was the World Bank itself that issued a very chilling warning. In an absolutely startling report, the World Bank revised GDP growth estimates for 2012 downward very sharply, warned that Europe could be on the verge of a devastating financial crisis, and declared that the rest of the world better “prepare for the worst.” You would expect to hear this kind of thing on The Economic Collapse Blog, but this is not the kind of language that you would normally expect to hear from the stuffed suits at the World Bank. Obviously things have gotten bad enough that nobody is even really trying to deny it anymore. Andrew Burns, the lead author of the report, said that if the sovereign debt crisis gets even worse we could be looking at an economic crisis that could be even worse than the last one: “An escalation of the crisis would spare no-one. Developed- and developing-country growth rates could fall by as much or more than in 2008/09.” Burns also stated that the “importance of contingency planning cannot be stressed enough.” In other words, Burns is saying that it is time to prepare for the worst. So are you ready?
But of course it isn’t just the World Bank that is warning about these things. The chorus of voices that is warning about the next great financial crisis just seems to grow by the day.
Some of these voices were profiled in a Bloomberg article the other day entitled “Apocalypse How? Dire ’12 Forecasts“. The following is just a sampling of quotes from that article….
-John Mauldin, president of Millennium Wave Advisors: “We’ve got a cancer. That cancer is debt”
-Mark Spitznagel of Universa Investments: “Too much malinvestment has been kept alive, and history shows an inevitable wipeout, which started in 2000.”
-Michael Panzner of Financial Armageddon: “The fundamental outlook is even worse now than it was a few weeks ago, given (the lack of positive) developments in Europe and growing evidence that the economies of major countries around the world are deteriorating fast.”
If you have time, you should go check out the rest of that article. It really is fascinating.
When this crisis is over, all sorts of people are going to be running around claiming that they predicted it. But it does not take a genius to see what is coming. All you have to do is open up your eyes and look at the flashing red warning signs.
So what should we all be looking for next?
March 20th is a key date to keep your eye on. That is the day when Greece will either makes its 14.5 billion euro bond payment or it will default.
Greece does not have a prayer of making that payment without help. If Greece can convince the EU and the IMF to release the next scheduled bailout payment and if Greece can reach a satisfactory deal with private bondholders, then the coming Greek default might be “orderly”. But if something goes wrong, the coming Greek default might be quite “disorderly”.
At this point, almost everyone in the financial world is anticipating a Greek default of one form or another….
-Edward Parker, the managing director for Fitch’s sovereign and supranational group in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, recently declared that a Greek default is inevitable….
“It is going to happen. Greece is insolvent so it will default.”
-Moritz Kraemer, the head of S&P’s European sovereign ratings unit, made the following statement on Bloomberg Television on Monday:
“Greece will default very shortly. Whether there will be a solution at the end of the current rocky negotiations I cannot say.”
-Richard McGuire, a strategist at Dutch bank Rabobank, was recently quoted by CNBC as saying the following….
“People often ask if Greece is going to default which … is a misnomer because Greece is (already) defaulting”
-Diane Swonk, the chief economist at Mesirow Financial in Chicago, says that the default by Greece will probably be an “orderly” one but that the situation could change at any moment….
“It appears at the moment that the market is accepting a Greek default as inevitable, and it will be an orderly default. But that can change on a dime.”
But whether there is a default or not, the reality is that Greece is already experiencing a full-blown economic depression. In Greece, 20 percent of all retail stores have already shut down. The unemployment rate for those under the age of 24 is now at 39 percent. Large numbers of Greeks are trying to get themselves and their money out of the country while they still can.
Pessimism regarding Greece is at an all-time high. Michael Fuchs, the deputy leader of Angela Merkel’s political party, recently made the following statement….
“I don’t think that Greece, in its current condition, can be saved.”
But of course Greece is not the only declining economy in Europe by a long shot.
Italy has a much larger economy, and if Italy totally collapses it will be an absolute nightmare for the entire globe.
Right now, the Bank of Italy is forecasting a significant recession for the Italian economy in 2012. The following is from a statement that Bank of Italy has just released….
“The uncertainty that surrounds the medium-term perspectives of the Italian economy … are extraordinarily high and are directly linked to the evolution of the eurozone debt crisis”
Italy’s youth unemployment rate has hit the highest level ever, and nearly all sectors of the Italian economy are showing signs of slowing down.
Plus there is the looming problem of Italian debt. As I wrote about yesterday, when you add the maturing debt that the Italian government must roll over in 2012 to their projected budget deficit, it comes to 23.1 percent of Italy’s GDP.
Originally it was hoped that the economic problems in Europe could be contained to just a few countries. But now it has become clear that is just not going to happen.
“If you live in Greece, you’re in a depression; if you live in Spain, you’re in a depression; if you live in Portugal or Ireland, you’re in a depression,” Celente said. “If you live in Lithuania, you’re running to the bank to get your money out of the bank as the bank runs go on. It’s a depression. Hungary, there’s a depression, and much of Eastern Europe, Romania, Bulgaria. And there are a lot of depressions going on [already].”
The troubling news out of Europe just seems to keep coming in waves. Here are some more recent examples….
So will all of this economic trouble eventually spread to the United States?
Of course it will.
The global economy is more interconnected today than ever. Back in 2008 the financial crisis that started on Wall Street ended up devastating economies all over the planet. The same thing will happen during this next great financial crisis.
Only this time the U.S. is in a much weaker position. The U.S. debt problem has gotten much worse since the last crisis.
During 2008, our national debt crossed the 10 trillion dollar mark. Less than 4 years later, we have crossed the 15 trillion dollar mark.
So what are we going to do the next time large numbers of banks fail and unemployment skyrockets?
Where are we going to get the money to bail out all of those banks and to take care of all of those newly unemployed people?
Some people say that socialism is the answer, but the truth is that we are already a socialist welfare state. If you can believe it, nearly half of all Americans live in a household that receives some form of financial benefits from the U.S. government.
During the next great crisis, the number of people that are dependent on the government will go even higher.
If you don’t want to end up dependent on the government, you should heed the warning signs and you should use this time to prepare for the hard times that are coming.
When even the World Bank tells us to hope for the best but to prepare for the worst, you know that it is late in the game.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of people out there only believe what they want to believe. They don’t want to believe that a great economic crisis is coming, and so when it does happen they are going to be absolutely blindsided by it.
HBO’s 1995 The Tuskegee Airmen: Where the canonization of a ‘myth’ began
In looking through history books detailing America’s World War II Army Air Force ‘aces’, one thing stood out: the Tuskegee Airmen had absolute no impact on the course of the Allies winning the war over the Axis Powers. Not one of the famed Red Tails earned the honorific of ‘ace’ (meaning five or more confirmed aerial kills), compared to a list of more than 1,200 white American fighter pilots who earned that title during World War II. Aces like Chuck Yeager, who would go on to be the first person to break the sound-barrier, an arbitrary record in Black-Run America (BRA), a world that only honors those who were the first to break the much more important color-barrier.
But you’ve heard of the Tuskegee Airmen, right? Weird.
Dr. Daniel Haulman pointed out in Nine Myths About the Tuskegee Airmen, a controversial 2008 paper, that the Tuskegee Airmen had fewer aerial kills compared to all-white fighter groups. Interesting, 332d Fighter Group (the Tuskegee Airmen) lost more of its own aircraft then it shot down:
In November 1945, the War Department published a report called “Policy for Utilization of Negro Manpower in the Post-War Army. Since the report had been prepared by a committee of generals headed by Lt. Gen. Alvan C. Gillem, Jr., it was sometimes called the “Gillem Report.” Part of the report compared the four P-51 fighter escort groups of the Fifteenth Air Force, which included the all-black 332nd Fighter Group and the all-white 31st, 52nd, 325th, and 332nd Fighter Groups (the other three fighter escort groups of the Fifteenth Air Force, the 1st, 14th, and 82nd, flew P-38 aircraft). While the report praised the 332d Fighter Group for successfully escorting bombers, it also criticized the group for having fewer aerial victory credits than the other groups because it did not aggressively chase enemy fighters to shoot them down, but stayed with the bombers it was escorting. The report also claimed that each of the three white P-51 fighter groups shot down more than twice as many aircraft as it lost in combat, but that the 332d Fighter Group lost more of its own aircraft in combat than it destroyed of the enemy. The implication is that the black 332d Fighter Group might have lost fewer bombers it escorted than the other three white P-51 fighter escort groups, it also shot down the least number of enemy aircraft. Depending on what the criterion was, the 332d Fighter Group was the worst and also the best at the same time.
One of the best? For losing the fewest bombers? But wait, we learn in another paper by Haulman that most of the bombers lost – escorted by the Tuskegee Airmen – were via German antiaircraft (ground) weaponry:
A second myth is that the Tuskegee Airmen “never lost a bomber” that they were escorting. The 332d Fighter Group’s own mission reports often note that its pilots witnessed friendly bombers going down, mostly to enemy antiaircraft fire.
So wait-a-second: if Axis fighters weren’t posing a great threat to the Tuskegee Airmen-escorted bombers, why didn’t they ever engage them as other all-white fighter groups did? Wasn’t the bulk of Germany’s greatest ‘aces’ on the eastern front, fighting the invading Soviet Union?
Oh well.
The Wrong Stuff
NASA.gov still has a story from 2004 featured on its site that has since been completely discredited:
The Tuskegee Airmen were the first African-Americans to be trained as WWII military pilots in the U.S. Army Air Corps. One thousand Airmen were trained at Tuskegee, Ala., and 445 entered combat. They painted the tails of their aircraft red for easy identification, thus earning the nickname “Red Tails.”
Flying over 15,000 sorties, they destroyed more than 490 enemy aircraft and 45 trains. They never lost a bomber to enemy fighters – a record no other fighter group achieved.
We would learn 62 years after the end of World War Two that the “never lost a bomber” story was a myth, perpetrated by those trying to create a legend that only bigots would dare challenge. Or those who care about honoring true ‘aces’ like Richard Bong, as opposed to worshiping a fictional story like the Tuskegee Airmen.
In looking through those same history books – many published before the advent of Tuskegee Airmen hysteria – one thing is clear; history is written by the winners, meaning the Disingenuous White Liberals (DWLs) in control of Black-Run America (BRA) can pass on pushing Bong’s story and puff up the contributions of the Red Tails.
And when did it all start? When did those white Army Air Force “aces,” who won glory in the air over Europe and in the Pacific, take second fiddle to the Tuskegee Airmen? Try 1995, with an HBO movie entitled The Tuskegee Airmen:
At the end, the film details the unit’s accomplishments: 66 out of the 450 Tuskegee Airmen died in battle, they engaged and defeated Messerschmitt Me 262s, the first operational jet fighters, and they were awarded a total of 850 medals over the course of the war. The credits also note (inaccurately, but a common belief of the time) that the 332nd never lost a single bomber to enemy fire.
Watching this movie on DVD recently, the credits still contained the same discredited note. If you repeat a lie long enough, it will eventually become a truth:
The claim at the end of the film that the 332nd never lost a single bomber to enemy action is a source of historical controversy. This statement was repeated for many years, and not challenged because of the esteem of the Tuskegee Airmen. However, Air Force records and eyewitness accounts later showed that at least 25 bombers were lost to enemy fire. This was still a far cry from the hundreds of bombers lost to enemy fire under escort of their white counterparts.
A far cry from their white counterparts? Mainly because the Tuskegee Airmen never flew in the Pacific and encountered Japanese Kamikaze pilots and due to the fact they entered the European theater of war after the Luftwaffe had been largely decimated. Remember, it was largely antiaircraft fire that brought down bombers they escorted.
J. Todd More, a gushing hagiographer of the Tuskegee Airmen, wrote about the vast impact the HBO film had in establishing the “official narrative” of the Red Tails, one that differs incredibly from true accounts. In his book Freedom Flyers: The Tuskegee Airmen of World War II, he we writes on p. 174:
For better or worse, The Tuskegee Airmen created and solidified a collective memory of the experience that will never be dislodge. It sent place a narrative that veterans of the experience and interested observers alike all appropriated as their own. People who have never been to Italy now report that white bomber pilots requested escort from the Red Tails as if they had been eyewitnessess to the conversations, because they saw white characters in The Tuskegee Airmen do just that. Hundreds of the narratives in the Tuskegee Airmen Oral History Project recorded between 2000 and 2005 followed the film’s story arc closely, and the vast majority of interviewees referenced the film in one way or another; the movie itself became an artifact in the history of the Tuskegee Airmen. Of course, it’s impossible to judge to what the degree the film influenced these memories, because all of the National Park Service’s interviews were recorded after the film made its impact.
Such as the visceral impact of “never losing a bomber myth.” Mission accomplish on that, HBO. Tell a lie loud enough and long enough, and the Tuskegee Airmen becomes as important to American history as… well, more important than any military victory we study. After all, they broke the color-barrier! Who cares if the movie is full of outright lies when it serves the purpose of being pure-propaganda!
Remember, the winners get to write history. The Tuskegee Airmen is a movie about commitment, discipline and courage. The 332nd Fighter Group of the Army Air Corps was one of the best units to fly in World War II. This movie will introduce children to another step in the long road that black people took toward racial equality.
To give you a sense of how our Learning Guides can be used by teachers to develop lesson plans, and by parents to supplement school curriculum or for homeschooling, we have set out below a paragraph from the Learning Guide to The Tuskegee Airmen.
The Tuskegee Airmen were the elite, African-American 99th Fighter Squadron (later expanded to the 332nd Fighter Group) commanded by Colonel Benjamin O. Davis, Jr. The Tuskegee Airmen flew more than 700 missions and were the only Fighter Group that never lost a bomber to enemy aircraft. They earned three unit citations, more than 744 Air Medals and Clusters, more than 100 Flying Crosses, 14 Bronze Stars, 8 Purple Hearts, a Silver Star, a Legion of Merit, and the Red Star of Yugoslavia. The Tuskegee Airmen downed 111 enemy fighters, including three of the eight Messerschmitt ME-262 jets shot down by the Allies during the war. The 332nd also destroyed countless targets during ground attack missions and even sank a German destroyer with machine gun fire that hit the ship’s ammunition stores, triggering secondary explosions. Sixty-six Tuskegee Airmen (out of a total of 450 sent overseas) lost their lives in combat.
Yikes! Virtually everything that Teach with Movies promotes about The Tuskegee Airmen is a lie! Dr. Daniel Haulman decimated all of these lies in a report published in 2008, though the truth is always the first casualty right? Even Amazon.com still peddles the lie in the product listing for the movie.
Fitting that this 1995 movie had the tagline “They were our country’s best defense…and its greatest glory.”
In reality, the Tuskegee Airmen story is the country’s best defense of segregation... and its greatest glory, since we know Black people can’t compete for pilot slots in integrated flight training units now.
Our nation’s best defense in World War II were the Army Air Force pilots like Richard Bong, who time has forgotten. Well, Teach with Movies has ensured that future generations of Americans will only learn about The Tuskegee Airmen via a movie starring that dude Morpheus from The Matrix.
It is these men whose false exploits, glamorized by TWO Hollywood movies, will ensure they are remembered as the true heroes of World War Two, a constant reminder that not only aerial, but supremacy over white bigotry was achieved. That lily-white ace Richard Bong, who gave his life for his country, was the wrong color. He’ll never get the Congressional Gold Medal nor have school children celebrate Bong Day (well, some might) as they do “Tuskegee Airman Day.“
Read the Congressional Gold Medal to Tuskegee Airmen Public Law here. Remember, less than two percent of US military aviators are Black now. What exactly is the legacy of the Airmen again? That segregation worked (though their record was still inflated, largely by Hollywood writers); that integration shows Black people can’t compete with white standards.
Back in the 1980s, we heard a lot about how communist countries had “state-run radio” or some other obvious propaganda device. It conjured up images of banks of censors in basements producing irrationally exuberant radio and TV to manipulate a sleepwalking population.
Now the sleepwalking population is us. Method is often irrelevant; it doesn’t matter whether a large company produces the media, or some dissident hipster alone in a toolshed, or some vast Communist empire of college-trained propagandists. The result is the same.
For example, what does the Communist government preach?
Everything is fine; we have it under control; things are even going great; the bad guys are really bad and will kill your babies; join us and fight them and you will always be accepted.
But really corporate radio is not much different.
Everything is fine; your life will be even better with our product; it’s totally great and will get you laid; there are people who are not fun and they don’t like our product and want to control you; join us in the fight for freedom and buy our product and you will always be accepted.
And hipster radio is even closer to the original.
Everything is fine if you’re one of us; we’re living the good life by not being like the others; while they suffer in boring Catholic jobs and conservative sex lives, we’re rocking hard; the bad guys want to ruin your fun; join us in conforming to non-conformity and you will always be not only accepted, but hipper than others because we accept you.
With that little illusion out of the way, we can take a look at state-run radio in the United States. While our National Public Radio is not fully funded by the state, or directly controlled, it seems to share its personnel exclusively with media and government elites. It handily releases stories that are convenient. And it pumps out propaganda as much as Pravda or East German radio did.
NPR however is subtler. To maintain the illusion of freedom, our propaganda must disguise itself as the alternative to propaganda. This means it must be permissive, but also have a sense of higher moral calling, so you sense that (a) there are no rules but (b) good people behave a certain way and we’ll tell you what it is.
To that end, NPR has developed a distinctive style. If it were music, it would be minor-key. It is a lamentation that wraps itself around “uplifting” ideas that never quite change the mood. It is an affirmation of the crushing power of normalcy while doing its best to notice all the quirky, off-beat, ironic, unique, different and non-conformist details.
In short, it’s a deliberate paradox designed to hide its agenda behind a social statement. Its predominant hook is that its announcers use big(ger) words than average, and speak in hushed tones of awe about weighty topics, and basically act like the kids in the theatre department in high school.
A typical NPR broadcast resembles the ones from the Katrina era:
This block once rang out with the vibrant calls of children at play. A neighborhood for the disadvantaged, Skull Head Point was in the process of pulling itself up by its bootstraps when the storm hit and all but obliterated any hope. Here, neighbors dodged bullets to put together a community eatery and vegetable co-op. Teachers concealed the bodies of the previous night’s shooting so their children could have a few minutes of unabridged delight in a quick pick-up soccer game. Even the local police got in the act, dressing up as Santa and handing out toys made from old warrants. It was a neighborhood of hard times but good spirits, of a dark past but a bright future. And then came the storm.
Now the only basketballs are deflated in ponds of water from which shiny white bones protrude, and the nightly violence is so intense that residents have stopped buying doors because they are simply stolen too fast. Skull Head Point, like so many other aspirations in the twilight of this city, was crushed by the storm that tore down half the neighborhood and flooded the rest. Ida May Barnes, a pancake cook at the bullet-riddled 666 Diner in town that’s the last good employment most residents can get, doesn’t fault President George W. Bush for the storm. “But he sure could get us some new roads, a little faster,” she says with a laugh before she returns to her task of picking up the metatarsals of the dead.
This is intoned in a warm, full voice like 1970s teachers reading from children’s books. Sentences are pronounced with a distinct downward slant, modulating toward a lower key and slower pace as they go on. The timbre of the voice changes too and gets fuller and huskier, as if sadness pervaded it without invitation. Lots of trendy topics are cited to either make you feel like part of the gang, or remind you that you have work to do in order to be as cool as the others.
All of this conceals the fact that the people on this radio station are doing the bidding of their masters, and make ludicrously low salaries, and probably are not qualified for anything outside of this type of “social” job, where a worker is not valued for ability so much as the ability to make other people pay attention to that worker.
The NPR style has infested all forms of mass communication now. It used to be “edgy” and “hip” because it was both bleak and yet trendy and hopeful, so all the dummies in the marketing departments decided to emulate it in the hopes it would sell their products. Legions of blogs and podcasts also imitate it because it is their ideal. Other radio stations took it on to compete.
The result says a lot about the American spirit at this time. We don’t crave red-blooded, clear-sighted and realistic news. We don’t even crave the venal. Instead, we like this mish-mash of the pathetic, lurid and state propaganda, all disguised as an ironic human interest story for intellectuals.
It’s as if we have given up on substance and affirmed style itself. In doing so, we have revealed how empty we are. We don’t want solutions to our problems; we want distractions. We don’t want reality; we want to feel like a nation of self-appointed intellectuals, pushing away problems not because we’re in denial but because we are somehow wiser than reality itself.
This blog post revisits a topic I started writing about long ago in the 1980s. Back then, Al Gore thought the flavor of the week was social conservative on the heels of the Reagan Revolution, and so he pimped out his crazy wife Tipper on a scheme to put obscene content warning stickers on music.
The idea was that these little stickers would warn us that the music we were about to purchase contained excessively sexual, profane, Satanic, violent or drug promoting themes. The illusion was that this would aid parents, who were only too happy to ignore whatever Junior was listening to in his bedroom.
In reality, the result was a whole lot of brouhaha that went nowhere. The right cheered and the left claimed it was the new Hitler. In the meantime, record stores began demanding IDs in advance of purchase, regardless of the visual appearance of the purchaser.
As might be predicted, the ensuing drama lasted for another couple years until everyone forget and ran on to a new trend. Parents went back to griping about what the kids listened to and doing nothing to interrupt it. Kids went back to buying music, letting it program their brains, and then the next craze.
But as they say, watch an experienced gambler. One hand does something that attracts your attention while the other covertly makes the move you should be worrying about. Those who desire to manipulate mass opinion learned a lot from the Parents Music Resource Center debacle (for that’s what it was called).
What they learned is this: if you want to censor something, the dumbest move you can make is to make a law. Don’t bother — instead, gather 500 of your closest friends and start making calls. Call the record labels and the record stores. Threaten lawsuits, threaten boycotts, but even more, find a good taboo.
For example, no one cares these days about sex, drugs and Satan. Permissiveness allows our controllers even greater power. First, it breaks down social standards except those taught in schools as political dogma.
Next, it means everyone is doing something wrong at all times, which provides probable cause, which then gets investigators into the door with a warrant. If you know your target likes drugs, piracy, illegal porn or weapons, it’s easy to get him or her booked into the system and turn them informant.
A good taboo is something that is politically offensive, meaning that it is perceived by many people as threatening their way of life. The biggest ones are Communism, pedophilia and racism. If you accuse any person of these, it’s considered proof that they are Hitler or worse.
After all, we fought wars for universal equality. The Communists were against freedom, hated Coca-Cola and were probably closet racists too. Every one of the pillars of belief upon which we build this great nation is against Communism, pedophilia (think of the children!) and racism.
These lessons came to bear in the next half-decade when political correctness took over. It took over not because the new generation wanted it, but because the Baby Boomers had finally gotten old enough to run departments. The hippie revolution was underway in its second phase, that of adulthood.
It rubbed us the wrong way the same way any stodgy adult “you must do this” proclamation did, but also because these people wanted us to re-live their lives and in doing so, forget our own. What also unnerved us was how effective economic censorship was.
If you wanted something destroyed, accuse it of Communism, pedophilia or racism. Call up the employers of those who supported it; they got fired. Call advertisers; ads went away, and it went bankrupt. Protest in front of stores or list them as racist Communist sympathizers, and they went out of business.
A new tool of great power was in the hands of those who disagreed with ideas. All groups could use it; all you needed were enough cash-spending followers to cause economic damage, and you had virtual control over what could be seen, heard, bought or sold.
The best part was that it was not censorship. Censorship we are told implies a government or some other with singular power preventing freedom of the press or speech. Economic censorship allows you to publish whatever you want, but anyone caught with it loses their job and so no one pays attention to it.
It’s not just America. In any liberal democracy, we don’t need censorship: we simply determine that your ideas should be unpopular, and we spread the word through media, and soon consumer pressure hides the offensive material from sight.
Over the weekend, MSNBC President Phil Griffin said that Buchanan was not allowed on the air indefinitely after the release of his latest book, and has not decided whether to allow the commentator to return.
The book, Suicide of a Superpower, brought to MSNBC calls from several civil rights groups and the Anti-Defamation League to drop Buchanan for its incendiary racial and anti-Semitic remarks, among which are, according to the Times, claims that America is being damaged “ethnically, culturally, morally, politically” by the rise in minority populations and the lament that the “European and Christian core of our country is shrinking.” Griffin described the ideas in the book as not being “really appropriate for national dialogue, much less the dialogue on MSNBC.” – Mediaite
We’ve gone from banning Satanic drug-addicted hyper-sexual heavy metal and obscene hip-hop to chasing down the political enemies of the State, and busting them for offending us by violating the moral norms of our society. How bitter, calcified, antiquated and unstable.
Yet it remains popular because we get our cake and eat it, too. We have free speech, and we also get rid of any ideas that interrupt the constant pursuit of pleasures of the self. This way, we can maintain the pleasant anesthetized feeling that everything is just fine… until the end, of course.
The brutal attack in Chicago was perpetrated by blacks against a white victim. Several dozen local news stories have been published by local media. Every single one censor the race of the victim and perpetrator.
An 18 year old white female from Highland Park was denied entry to a concert in Chicago because she forgot her id. Within minutes, a wolfpack of black thugs pounced on her as she waited for a ride home by herself.
For the next thirty minutes she was brutally gang raped and beaten by six to eight black thugs. She was beaten into a coma and nearly died. The perps placed her bloody, naked body back on the sidewalk. Security guards for the concert venue saw some of the perps and apprehended three. They turned them over to the Chicago PD. Despite having the victim’s blood on their clothes, they were released after questioning.
Police believe this girl was alone for just a few minutes before the wolfpack attacked her. The thugs simply wanted to do horrible things to a white female victim.
The media is CENSORING this story and putting the public at greater risk. It is up to readers of cofcc.org to get the word out.

Grathwohl: I brought up the subject of what’s going to happen after we take over the government. You know, we become responsible for administrating, you know, 250 million people. And there was no answer. No one had given any thought to economics. How are you going to clothe and feed these people?
The only thing that I could get was that they expected that the Cubans, the North Vietnamese, the Chinese and the Russians would all want to occupy different portions of the United States. They also believed that their immediate responsibility would be to protect against what they called the counter-revolution. And they felt that this counter-revolution could best be guarded against by creating and establishing re-education in the Southwest where we would take all of the people who needed to be re‑educated into the new way of thinking and teach them how things were going to be. I asked, “Well, what is going to happen to those people that we can’t re‑educate, that are die-hard capitalists?” And the reply was that they’d have to be eliminated and when I pursued this further, they estimated that they’d have to eliminate 25 million people in these re‑education centers. And when I say eliminate, I mean kill 25 million people. I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of whom have graduate degrees from Columbia and other well-known educational centers and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people and they were dead serious.

Fortunately, we already have a gigantic test case: California, which is now only 43 percent non-Hispanic white.
So what can we learn about the future of America from California, where the state government may run out of money next month without a federal bailout?
For most of this decade, the financial wizards poured hundreds of billions of dollars into mortgage-backed securities originating in California. In other words, they made a colossal bet on diversity.
And lost.
It turned out that, while California’s new diverse population could certainly consume and speculate like old-fashioned white Americans, they couldn’t produce like them.
I’d say yes we do need a national militia movement.
A country in which demented Green Marxist twerps like Joschka Fischer and Daniel Cohn-Bendit can become powerful and respected politicians, and a gobbledygook-spouting postmodernist Marxist tautologist like Jürgen Habermas can become the No. 1 public intellectual, is in a very bad predicament and doesn’t even know it. Underneath the prosperous, benevolent facade lies Germany that has done away with itself, as per Thilo Sarrazin’s famous book’s title (2).
Those who oppose the West’s cultural, demographic and economic self-disembowelment often want to go back to the old-time religion. But the momentum for the turn of the wheel had come from the old-time religion. Past wars, conformist oppression, persecutions, obscurantism, sexual repression, excessive prudery and other madness were fuelled by the Church animating the State. Even America, at its beginnings, was a theocracy established by victims of European theocracy. The inevitable counterstroke started with the Reformation and the Enlightenment, and continues to this day.
