An Unnecessary Defeat?

Why did John McCain lose?

Let’s start with those “headwinds” into which he was flying.

The president of the United States, the leader of his party, was at Nixon-Carter levels of approval, 25 percent, going into Election Day.

Sixty-two percent of the nation thought the economy was the No. 1 issue, and 93 percent thought the economy was bad. Two-thirds of the nation thought the war McCain championed was a mistake, and 80 percent to 90 percent thought the country was on the wrong course.

As a political athlete, measured by charisma and communications skills, McCain is not even in the same league with Barack Obama. He was outspent by vast sums, and his political organization was far inferior.

It is a wonder McCain was even competitive, dealt such a hand.

Yet, by Sept. 10, McCain, thanks to Sarah Palin, whose selection had proven a sensation, had come from eight points behind to take the lead, and Joe Biden was wailing that maybe Hillary would have been a better choice for Obama.

Then came the collapse of Lehman Brothers, the bailout of AIG, McCain’s assertion that the economy was fundamentally sound, and his panicked return to Washington to assist Bush and Hank Paulson push through a wildly unpopular bank bailout—using 700 billion in tax dollars to buy up rubbish paper the idiot bankers had put on their books.

The Establishment’s Man had come to save the Establishment.

Suddenly, it was McCain who was down 10 points, as the feline and feral press went on a wilding attack on Sister Sarah. He never recovered, though the McCain-Palin final push left egg on the faces of pollsters who were predicting a double-digit triumph for Obama.

Perhaps no Republican, in these circumstances, could have won, especially with that month-long bloodletting on Wall Street that wiped out $4 trillion to $5 trillion in stock and bond value, ravaging IRAs and 401Ks, portfolios and pensions alike.

Yet, McCain might still have won had he not, like his three fellow establishment Republicans Gerald Ford, George H.W. Bush and Bob Dole, been inhibited by the Mainstream Media and his own Beltway beliefs.

Consider. In California, where a liberal judiciary had ordered the state to recognize homosexual marriages, voters, by 52 to 48, slapped the judges across the face and ordered the ban reimposed and placed in the California constitution. Arizona and Florida also voted to outlaw gay marriage, by landslides.

The New York Times deplored the “ugly outcome” of these three referenda and said voters were “enshrining bigotry,” thus calling the majority of Californians, Arizonans and Floridians bigots and their Bible-rooted Christian beliefs nothing but bigotry.

Good to know what they think of us. Yet, McCain, who might have been out front on these moral and cultural issues, paid only lip service—and lost Florida, and California by a landslide.

In Missouri, where McCain eked out a victory, a proposal to make English the official state language carried six to one. In Nebraska, a proposal to ban affirmative action carried 58 to 42, but lost in a 50-50 tie in Colorado.

Parental notification won 48 percent support in California, a far higher share of the vote than McCain got, while a measure to outlaw abortion except in cases of rape, incest and the life of the mother got 45 percent in South Dakota. Had McCain made an issue of Obama’s support for a Freedom of Choice Act that would eliminate all state restrictions on abortion, he could have forced Obama to defend what yet remains a radical and extreme view in America.

While Barack was locking up black America, McCain failed to hold onto Bush’s share of the white working class, though Obama had the most liberal voting record in the Senate and long associations with the likes of Jeremiah Wright and ’60s bomber William Ayers.

Perhaps fearful his “good guy” reputation with his old buddies in his media “base” would be imperiled, McCain ruled Wright off limits and seemed hesitant even to go after the Ayers connections. Lee Atwater would not have been so ambivalent. Leo Durocher put it succinctly: “Nice guys finish last.”

Ultimately, however, the Beltway Republicans are losing Middle America because they are ideologically incapable of addressing two great concerns: economic insecurity and the perception that we are losing the America that we grew up in.

Economic insecurity is traceable to NAFTA-GATT globalization, under which it makes economic sense for U.S. companies to close factories here, build plants in China and export back to the United States. Manufacturing now accounts for less than 10 percent of all U.S. jobs.

Social insecurity is traceable to mass immigration, legal and illegal, which has brought in scores of millions who are altering the character of communities and competing with U.S. workers by offering their services for far less pay.

These are the twin causes of death of the Reagan coalition, and as long as the Republican Party is hooked on K Street cash, it will not address either, and thus pass, blissfully addicted, from this earth.

So what can we learn about the future of America from California, where the state government may run out of money next month without a federal bailout? For most of this decade, the financial wizards poured hundreds of billions of dollars into mortgage-backed securities originating in California. In other words, they made a colossal bet on diversity. And luckily for those viewers with a very short attention span everything is going fast forward. This is not the rise and fall of Rome—the pace of collapse is so quick that the global economy can be wrecked by the time you have finished watching an episode of Friends. Chaos theory in action makes the world an interesting place - when tension has reached its height a flutter of butterfly’s wing may bring everything to an end. WE,THE FEW saw this coming, of course, but still it was difficult to estimate the exact time when everything would change. Now, however the dominos are falling and there is no turning back. The current economic crisis will wipe out the structures of global liberal capitalism, the current economic crisis will bring the corporate world on its knees and crush the hubris of the economists and corporate captains - these high priests of liberal capitalism will have to admit that they know nothing and that their god is dead. The current economic crisis will destroy the naive optimism of middle class and deprive the working class of any hope for stability and prosperity. The current economic crisis will ruin the western societies and drive them to chaos so that in the end the Europeans will have nothing left but hate, fear and despair. All the symptoms are clearly visible: The out break of FUROR EUROPEICUS is nigh. Everything that happens today serves our cause - the old dying world cannot save itself and the elite of the dying world cannot do even one thing right. Everything the elite does will only prepare ground for its own downfall. The elite is always the mirror image of the world it rules - in a world that is destined to die, a reverse evolution takes place and only inept fools will rule - Louis XVI and Nicholas II were no unfortunate accidents but examples of a pattern in history. Soon the elite of the western civilization will taste the bitter pill of dialectics in history: Force creating its counterforce! Everything we have been doing in the white western world since 1945 and especially since the mid 60’s has been a counterreaction to the horrors of the Second World War and the Third Reich. A few observations from my perch in multiracial America. 1) The Left has lost its patience and abandoned all prudence in its desire to liquidate the West, and its organic race, immediately. Pronto. The safe bet would have been to continue its brainwashing regimen at a reasonable pace while continuing to install White male puppets. The consequences for such an overreach, especially at this critical juncture for international capitalism, could be as profound as Germany’s military overreach in WWII. 2) By denying all legitimacy to those who would preserve the Euro-White heritage(s) the Left has been fostering the creation of monsters who will give back a double portion for what has been done to us when our cages are finally loosed. The consequences for what they have done will be the permanent eradication of the humanist Left from the Western cosmos, the first order of business when anything resembling our views reclaims political power. 3) By foolishly excusing the barbaric behavior of non-White ethnics while simultaneously encouraging their immigration the Left is brewing nothing less then the very societal chaos and disorder that will be its own undoing. History will not stand such a contradiction in governance to go interminably unpunished. 4) The societal breakdown, and the chaos that it will unleash, is only being staved off by shared consumerist habits and economic fears, once the end comes it will seem obvious (in hindsight) that the economy was always the Left’s countdown clock. On that note, middle class White America may be unhappy with their situation but they aren’t about to risk the destruction of the very consumerist society that they rely upon for their daily bread (esp. at the urgings of nationalists). Time, Providence, and internal contradictions will have to be the undoing of this arrangement. 5) America is the lynchpin, the spiritual center, for the West’s professed faith in Left humanism [cultural Bolshevism]. The collapse of our government will do for the soft totalitarian Left what the collapse of the U.S.S.R. did for the hard totalitarian Left and herald the disintegration of the modern Left everywhere within the enervated West. Recent events make it hard not to feel optimistic; however it is still our responsibility to envision a future political system that will intelligently absorb the technological innovations of the 20th century. We must find a way to properly integrate our technological innovations into a society that is spiritually meaningful and politically protected from malevolent influence. Locust: These bailouts now totaling approx. 7.5 Trillion dollars, Our Federal Debt will total 17.5 trillion, combined with unpaid liabilities, the total public and private Debt of America will be more then 65 trillion dollars, lock and load, nearly a third of the population will be unemployed by DEC 31st 2011, that’s a hundred million people, before this happens riots will break out, spiraling deflation will be replaced with HYPER Inflation, the only short term solution for the elites is socialism/communism, and they know this will lead towards massive civil unrest and a NEW American Revolution. Lock and load, and buy plenty of Ammo. America must collapse, so we the Euro-Americans can save our people, it must occur, the elites on the left and right are part of the status quo, this is the last thing they want to see, it will bring about the end of leftist humanism and Egalitarianism thought process. Egalitarianism is considered a protean (communist) doctrine; as a social philosophy it has been applied to society in a wide variety of different ways. Common forms of egalitarianism include economic egalitarianism, legal egalitarianism, luck egalitarianism, political egalitarianism, gender egalitarianism, racial equality, asset-based egalitarianism, and Christian egalitarianism. All of these doctrines will come to an end when the rational thought process dominates society, we will look for those whom will be blamed, the leeches, the parasites, those who contribute nothing but take everything, welfare recipients, you know who I‘m talking about, and you know what to do next.

    Diversity: Greatest Strength or Greatest Threat? March 2, 2009 by guywhite “We didn’t have the wonderful diversity of people that you have here today,” said Hillary Clinton during her 1995 trip to the Chicago school she attended as a child. “I’m sad we didn’t have it because it would have been a great value, as I’m sure you will discover.” At the time when Hillary made this declaration, her own daughter was a High School student. Neither Mrs. Clinton, nor her husband (“America’s First Black President”) thought it advisable to send their child to a “diverse” school. President Bill Clinton may open a library near the Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas – a school at the center of integration battles in the 1950s – but he won’t let his child anywhere near it. Are we to believe that Bill and Hillary refused to send their daughter to a diverse school because they hate Chelsea? Are we to believe that the rich always send their children to lily-white private or suburban schools because they want to make sure that space is open in “multicultural” schools for the poor who cannot afford either private schools or homes in wealthy suburbs with non-diverse schools? There’re practically no Whites who had a choice who’ve opted for “diversity”. After the U.S. Supreme Court imposed integration and forbade segregation, the rich and the middle class escaped to suburbs as soon as minorities began moving into their neighborhoods. It was the so-called “White Flight” that led to the creation of not only the suburbs, but also the building of most American highways built since the Brown v. Board of Ed decision. For Whites to live in the suburbs, they needed effective infrastructure to move from the suburbs to the major cities where they worked. The rich and the middle class used their political clout to lobby for highways that allowed them to escape “diversity”. Many of the highways and other public works projects were built in a way to protect urban White areas from “multiculturalism” by leaving minorities on the “other” side of the government project, thus slowing the flight of Whites (and the taxes they pay) from cities. Diversity is a failure not only in the United States, but throughout the world. Over the long term, the only result of diversity is war. Different African tribes are at each other’s throats in every country they are forced to share. Muslims fight each other, Sunnis against the Shia, Arabs against Kurds against Persians. We are told to believe that Mexicans, Muslims and Africans will integrate into Western societies. But what proof is there? Similar people may overlook their differences and integrate within a generation or two. But where do we see people of different races successfully integrate into one? To the extent diversity works anywhere, it is a result of the White Westerners’ belief in the God of Multiculturalism and Peace. During the first half of the 20th century, European and Western nations fought the two bloodiest wars of all time. This was not a result of White brutality, but rather a product of innovation that created airplanes, tanks, rockets, missiles, machine guns and other deadly weapons. Coming out of World War Two, the White Man was simply tired and could not go on fighting. The idea of embracing each other seemed like a way out of a permanent disaster with constant warfare. And so the West agreed to look beyond one’s tribal instincts and embrace one another. Of course, that is relatively easy for nations that are similar. The French embraced the Walloons. The Germans embraced the Dutch. The Norwegians embraced the Danes. The WASPs embraced the Irish. The Askhenazi (European) Jews embraced the Sephardic (Middle Eastern, Central Asian and Spanish) Jews. But it’s easy for people who are already similar to join hands and sing the kumbaya around the campfire. But what to do when Muslims who believe in covering up their women from head to toe arrive in Holland, a place famous for its libertine sexual mores? What to do when Africans arrive into Western countries and set fire in the middle of their hotel rooms when they want to cook food? Or when Mexicans demand that the City of Los Angeles spend money celebrating Cinco De Mayo rather than the Fourth of July? Most cultures would fight back. But Whites simply back down and go along with their own cultural destruction for the fear of being called racist. Italians can live in the same neighborhood with Jews, and Germans can live with the English. But outside of their own race, they all feel uncomfortable. No White person will admit that he is unhappy about de-segregation forced upon them, but all Whites – those who joined Civil Rights marches singing “We Shall Overcome” and those who stood in front of school doors to prevent integration – oppose de-segregation when it comes time to choose the neighborhoods where they lived and schools where they sent their children. Research by Harvard University’s liberal Professor Robert Putnam shows that the more diverse communities are, less its inhabitants trust anyone – from their next-door neighbor to the mayor. “The effect of diversity is worse than had been imagined. And it’s not just that we don’t trust people who are not like us. In diverse communities, we don’t trust people who do look like us…. They don’t trust the local mayor, they don’t trust the local paper, they don’t trust other people and they don’t trust institutions. The only thing there’s more of is protest marches and TV watching.” This is true not only for Whites, but for people around the world. Almost every conflict around the world has a racial/ethnic character, usually because “diverse” people are forced to live together. When Sudanese Arabs meet Sudanese Blacks, they do not discuss the benefits of diversity – they brutally slaughter each other. Hutus and Tutsis prefer murder to being enriched by multiculturalism. Israel repeatedly clashed with its Arab neighbors. Christian Armenians locked horns with Muslims, whether in Turkey or in Nagorno-Karabakh. In the nearby Georgia, terror and warfare is seen in the diverse regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. The USSR, which for generations used force, shame and propaganda to create a New Soviet Man who did not care about nationalism, fell apart as everyone reverted back to their ethnic groups. Whites in Africa were largely kicked out of almost every country, from Algeria to Mozambique, and even the last white communities in Zimbabwe and South Africa will likely be gone within a generation. The most consistent and significant problem in the United States has come from racial diversity. When groups of kids clash in high schools or when gangs attack each other in jail, we do not see class warfare – we see diversity wars. It is not the rich fighting with the poor – it is usually Blacks engaging Hispanics (and sometimes other races, ethnicities or nationalities). South Californian Blacks do not consider illegal Mexican immigration “enriching” – they see it as a threat. Were it not for security guards and police, as well as metal detectors, schools in poor South Californian districts that feature large Hispanic and Black populations would’ve been filled with rivers of blood. The history of the rise of American suburbs is a history of a desperate White flight away from schools that were being filled with Black children. It is undeniable that suburbs would not be even a quarter of their current size but for school integration and busing of kids into schools outside their neighborhoods to forcibly mix races. White teachers ran from the schools that turned Black, and even government programs giving educators significant additional benefits (such as full tuition reimbursement in a Master’s degree program) cannot attract Whites into predominantly Black schools. But while the rich and the upper middle class built a virtual wall around themselves in their suburbs and neighborhoods, the poor couldn’t just abandon their homes because they didn’t have the money for a second house, and could not sell the home they lived because of the drop in property values caused by crime and decay brought on by the Blacks. Even those renting their apartments often found it impossible to move out of “inner cities.” Many couldn’t afford to buy cars needed to move from suburbs to their city jobs, or they couldn’t afford to spend 3-4 hours a day traveling because they had to be home to cook, clean, paint, fix the car and perform other duties for which the rich hire help. They also could not afford to “buy” protection from diversity by donating time and money to the campaigns of influential politicians who would then build shields in the form of government buildings, colleges and highways around their remaining neighborhoods to prevent minorities from moving in, as was done for the upper class Whites. The poor were stuck with “diversity”. Most of the poor were not educated, and could not articulate their arguments properly. Due to their lack of education, they could not explain that they want to live in their own culture, and do not want to face all the benefits of multiculturalism: “white bitches” raped in building stairways, guns brought to schools, drugs sold in parks, elevators treated as bathrooms, and vicious gangs beings the normal after-school activity for 13-year-olds. Instead of properly articulating their concerns about crime and shockingly different cultural norms of minorities, the uneducated poor yelled racial epithets. The so-called “rednecks” may not have read Henry David Thoreau and Jean-Jacques Rousseau, but they surely could understand when their daughter came home brutally beaten and raped by Tyrone and Darnell, as their girlfriends Laquisha and Uneeq pulled out the hair of the “white bitch”. The rich could afford to support diversity and integration in theory precisely because they could afford to avoid it by moving into different neighborhoods or the suburbs where their children could attend schools that were near-exclusively White. The poor opposed integration because there was no way for them to escape it other than by preventing minorities from moving into their neighborhood or attending their schools. For the poor, integration laws had a direct effect on their lives. To the wealthy, it was a politically popular theory support for which made them “nice” and “open-minded”. Racial self-flagellation became a way to improve one’s reputation. That the rich were usually educated and the poor weren’t also made the integrationists feel not only that they are good people, but that they are also smart for taking a politically-correct point of view. And so the rich felt morally and intellectually superior to the “rednecks”. They would never yell racial epithets in public. And they usually worked with a limited number of exceptionally-well educated minorities without a problem. In fact, a few exceptionally well-educated and high-income minority families may even live in their neighborhood. Of course, nobody in their neighborhood is named Tyrone or Laquisha, nobody has two children at the age of 15, nobody sells guns in schools and nobody urinates in elevators. The few Black people they see are exceptional and do not “Stay Black” or consider education and marriage a sign of “acting White”. Pim Fortuyn was a flamboyant gay man. He was also an admirer of former Dutch Prime Minister Joop den Uyl, a socialist, and in general was not the right-winger the media made him out to be. Joerg Haider was also semi-openly gay. He didn’t discuss it, but not did he hide it. He frequented gay bars and since almost everyone knew who he was, it was certain that at least people would recognize him there. Those are just the two most prominent far-right gays. There are others, some openly and some I’ve heard rumors about, and whether those are smears or truth is not known to me. But at least some might be gay. I wonder how much of the anti-Islamic message is driven by “Moslems will stone me to death if they take over” fear. More practically, I wonder if gays could be potential allies for us. If not in the US, then at least in Europe. Austrian far-right parties have made gains at the cost of the governing Social Democrats in two regional polls. In Carinthia, the main winner was the Alliance for the Future of Austria of the late Joerg Haider, with 45.5%. The Social Democrats trailed with 28.6%. The centre-left Social Democrats also lost ground in Salzburg, but still came first with 39.5%. The far-right Freedom Party won 13% there. The far-right gained nearly 29% of the vote in September’s general election. However, neither the Alliance nor the Freedom Party were invited to join the reconstituted coalition government formed two months later by the Social Democrats and the conservative People’s Party. Sunday’s regional elections in Salzburg and Carinthia were the first to put to the test the popularity of the government, which has focused in recent months on dealing with the problems confronting Austria in the face of the global economic downturn. Correspondents say that in Carinthia the Alliance had led a campaign focused on the legacy of Haider, who was the state’s governor for 10 years. “We will look after your Carinthia,” the party’s posters said. Haider was killed in a high-speed car crash near Klagenfurt last October. His blood-alcohol level had been well above the legal limit. He became a potent force in the 1980s and 90s, championing what he called traditional family values and an end to immigration. March 2, 2009 by guywhite By the way on the issue of the wealth built on slavery going on to our generation: everyone conveniently forgets that the Emancipation Proclamation provided for UNCOMPENSATED emancipation, thus wiping out the wealth that a slave represented. A slave was worth roughly what a Mercedes-Benz is today in inflation- and buying power-adjusted dollars. When millions of Southern slaves were emancipated without compensation, that meant that slaveowners were ruined and the entire region economically devastated. That’s not even counting the scorched earth tactics: the farm burning, city flattening efforts of the Union Army that caused even more economic catastrophe. And the enormous fraction of Southern manhood that was killed or maimed. - Irish This is a good observation. I also pointed out before that white countries without any history of African slavery are just as wealthy as white countries that had black slaves. (The money made off of slaves would be long gone by now, destroyed by inflation and maintenance of families for 150 years.) Never mind that only a tiny percentage of whites are descendants of slave owners and most - Irish, Italians, Jews, Poles - didn’t even arrive here until after slavery was eliminated in the country or at least the state where they lived. But one more thing: compare the South to the North. The slave-owning South was poorer and remains poorer than the North. If white wealth is/was the product of slavery, wouldn’t you think that the South would be wealthy and the North would be poor? And states that never had any slavery, like Washington State and Alaska, would look like Haiti? Even if all whites in non-slave states magically benefited from slavery, wouldn’t you still think that those in the South would benefit more than those in the North? And those in the United States prior to 1861 would benefit more than those who showed up here after the last former slave was already dead? Why is it then that we do not see any correlation between slave ownership and wealth? The idea that whites do well today not because of their intelligence and culture, but due to the history of slavery does not survive the most basic logical reasoning. In a move that last night sparked a fresh row over political correctness, a senior officer revealed that the race and religion of a victim has now become a crucial factor in how police respond to crime. Inspector Tom Galbraith, of Lothian and Borders Police’s diversity unit, told a conference on tackling terrorism that it was important to stop Scottish Muslims feeling “vulnerable” in case they were driven towards radicalism. Mr. Galbraith said the force encouraged officers to consider the religious or ethnic backgrounds of victims to assess their needs in dealing with hate crimes. He said that both an attack and a perceived lack of action by police could turn Islamic youths into future terrorists. Mr. Galbraith also revealed that police officers, Special Branch and BAA security staff were being given special lessons about Islamic culture after Muslims complained that being questioned when entering the country about whether they pray and attend mosques was offensive to their faith. Speaking at a national security conference in Edinburgh on Thursday, Mr. Galbraith said, “It is not about treating everybody the same. “If I have a young Asian man who has been subjected to a hate crime, I would rather put more resources into that than if it had happened to a white male because the white male is far less likely to end up becoming radicalised.” He later confirmed that his remarks were in line with Lothian and Borders Police policy, saying that cases of hate crime were assessed “by need”. He added: “You have to consider cases according to need. The idea of treating people all the same is a bit naive and we have to remember that there are vulnerable individuals who can be put on the path of radicalism.” Last night, the police were criticised for being too politically correct in dealing with hate crimes. - - - - - - - - - […] During the conference, Mr. Galbraith also said that police officers and airport security staff were being given lessons in Islamic culture to avoid offending arrivals. Ok, done laughing? The reality of course is radically different. She’s clearly incapable of analyzing ideas or creating coherent arguments of her own. There is no reason for me to allow her “contribution” to this blog because every time a liberal shows up here, they write the same thing. We already have the exact same arguments, probably a dozen times. Furthermore, she cannot comprehend the difference between a conclusion or a statement on one hand and a reason or proof on the other. But again, you just made a naked assertion, and failed to back it up with either scientific studies or even anecdotal examples. – When you do well in school and excel above your classmates, you don’t have to worry about your instructor being shocked, saying, “Wow! You’re really smart!” as if that’s unusual for someone of your race. I never saw this done for blacks. I did have a black professor who told me in my freshman year Speech class that she was shocked that I gave a good speech when the whole semester to date I left an impression as someone who is a troublemaker (she used the word ‘playboy’ but that’s what she meant) who came to class only to cause trouble and crack jokes. – Since this society is still controlled by Whites Just a conclusion, not proof. you don’t have to worry about the insitution of racism. There are no laws that favor whites, and many that discriminate against them. Every standardized test has a commission that makes sure that questions on which blacks fair poorly or whites fair well are dumped. For this reason, all the admissions tests such as SAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT and so on, over-predict black performance and under-predict white performance. Even if you are discriminated against because you are White, what effect can it really have on you other than getting your feelings hurt?? I could lose my job or not get it in the first place; I could not get admitted into college; I could get a longer prison sentence; I could get arrested for a minor crime like public drunkenness for which blacks are far less likely to get arrested. At most, you argue “disparate impact”, as if the lack of blacks in management and in other high IQ occupations has nothing to do with the lower average black IQ. Consider this: if a black student with a 2.7 GPA and 950 SAT score (out of 1,600, not sure how the new thing works) gets accepted over a white student with a 3.7 GPA and 1,300 SAT score, is it not the case that a less qualified person was admitted? In what way is 950 more qualified than 1,300? Again, what you are doing is trying to intimidate people by calling them racist unless they disagree with your naked assertions backed by nothing. Stop and think about that for a minute. That, in and of itself, shows white privilege So if we recognize that affirmative action means accepting a student who got 950 ahead of someone who got 1,300, then we are racists and have white privilege? The fact is that ALL the blacks in ALL competitive and semi-competitive schools are there on affirmative action. If you actually deserved to go to whatever school you are going to now, you would’ve also had the option of getting affirmative action to a better school, so you’d have gone there. – You are recognized as an individual. You can chew your food with your mouth open, join a gang, have bad credit, flunk out of school, or be a serial rapist without having it being attributed to your race! In fact, it has been proven that the reason that Shameika might not get a call for interview after the employer sees her resume is that ghetto names signify low class, which in turn mean violence and low IQ. Many Whites gained wealth from the work of slaves that still exists within their families today None did. None. Literally. Zero. None. First, even among those whites who lived in pre-1861 America only a small percentage owned slaved. Today, most whites are descendants of post-1861 immigrants. Most importantly, the few whites who actually were slave owners didn’t make enough money to last them 150 years. Nor is the amount large by today’s standards considering inflation. Inflation alone would’ve killed whatever the person made had his descendants not made money on their own. Black slaves were the ones that did the work and they and their families never benefitted from it. White countries like Switzerland and Finland which had no slaves are just as wealthy as the US. Washington DC spends more than 300% more than Utah per student, yet blacks there still underperform Utah’s white students. They got free apartments in the projects, but were welcome to get a job and pay their own way. Someone else posted it on FreeRepublic. Here’s what mainstream conservatives think about it: “Great article.” “Great explanation of a somewhat complicated topic.” “Nail. Hit. Head.” “He’s right, but don’t expect anyone in the political world to have the courage to agree.” “very excellent discussion.” “All of these economic plans are simply reparations without calling it that.” “posting it on twitter… Bingo….We have a winner!” Note, however, the far-left DailyKos response. They didn’t put up the main part of the article explaining how the CRA caused the problem, but even in the part that they chose to criticize, they explained nothing. Bank marketing people are salesmen. Oh the horror! Everyone else tries to sell their services: news stands, lawyers, colleges. Every time I turn on the TV, I see a commercial for some medication or a hospital, but that doesn’t mean that I get unnecessary brain surgery. If blacks didn’t want to borrow money, they didn’t have to. But banks were forced by the CRA to lend as much as they possibly could to any black person who would stop by. The DailyKos argues that when the bank gave a $13,000 loan instead of a $6,000 loan it benefited. Not unless the loan was actually paid back! And the whole problem now is that loans were not paid back! Otherwise there would be no recession and nobody would care about banks’ mortgage practices. Whether the original bank kept the mortgage or sold it to someone else, so long as the money were paid back, there was no problem for anyone. The reason banks had to lend to unqualified minorities is the CRA-imposed reparations in the form of loans and mortgages. Banks were forced by race hustlers and politicians to lend ridiculous amounts to blacks and Hispanics. Now they are being blamed for it! But blacks never have any responsibility for anything. That was really the only thing resembling an argument that the DailyKos put up. The rest of the way, they just said that things are very complicated (but how so?) and I am a victim of anti-intellectualism. They must’ve figured, “why argue when we can just call him stupid”. So here are some open and honest topics from someone who’s not a coward: 1. It is a fact that whites have more than blacks in every way possible: education, money, lack of criminal record. There are only two possible explanations for it: whites did something wrong or whites did something right. If you will talk about all the evils whites allegedly perpetuated on blacks, today and hundreds of years ago, can we list something the good things whites may have done and some errors common in the black community? 2. What proof is there that black people still suffer from slavery 150 years ago besides your claims? Do Russians still suffer from the legacy of serfdom? If so, why did Russia get rapidly wealthier after the fall of the Soviet Union and the people of Moscow are now wealthier than most Americans? If blacks still suffer from the legacy of segregation into the black ghetto, does that mean that Jews must still suffer from the legacy of the Jewish ghetto? If so, then why are Jews the wealthiest people in the United States and every other country? Why do they score the highest on academic and IQ tests? 3. Can we discuss the fact that according to surveys of crime victims (not a survey of arrest rates, but rather a survey of victims who usually desperately want the real criminal to be caught), blacks commit 7 times more crime per capita and 10 times more violent crime per capita than whites? Furthermore, blacks commit 20 times more murders per capita than whites? Can we discuss the fact that 32% of black men spend over a year in prison, plus at all those who did time in county jails, received probation or were never caught? Can we discuss the fact that black criminals commit more crime against whites than their fellow African-Americans, despite usually living in neighborhoods with few whites, meaning that they purposely target Caucasians. Can we discuss the fact that poverty does not cause crime, as evidenced by the fact that America’s crime rates were lowest during the Great Depression and highest during the booming 1960s and 1980s? When crime-prone people win the lottery or become professional athletes, they still commit crime, and when low-risk people suddenly become poor, they still don’t. A person does not go out and rape someone, or even rob someone, just because he loses a job. But a dysfunctional person is unlikely to have a job, while at the same time likely to commit a crime, whether the economy is good or bad. Can we discuss that the reason blacks serve more time is that they are more likely to have prior criminal records? That they are more likely to use a weapon? That they are more likely to injure a victim in commission of a crime? Can we discuss the fact that when we count for past criminal records and the level of the offense (for example, first degree battery with a gun in a dark alley vs. fourth degree battery with just fists in a bar), the criminal system discriminates against whites and not blacks? An 1996 analysis of 55,000 big-city felony cases found that black defendants were convicted at a lower rate than whites in 12 of the 14 federally designated felony categories. Several other major studies confirmed this. Rather than harping on the 2 categories where blacks come out behind (such as crack vs. cocaine), can we discuss the fact that in 12 out of 14 categories of crime, 86%, whites are discriminated against? Why is the 14% when blacks lose so much more worthy of constant talk than 86% of categories that persecute white defendants? Can we discuss that? 4. Can we discuss the radically different loan default rates between races? Blacks default almost 40% of the time on college loans, for example, while whites default only about 6% of the time. Can we discuss the fact that banks for forced to issue over $4.5 trillion ($4,500,000,000,000) to unqualified black borrowers which is what caused the present recession? 5. Can we discuss IQ differences? Do they exist? Does intelligence exist? Does the IQ measure real intelligence differences? Is IQ research science or pseudo-science? Who’s trying to prevent the real science about intelligence, the science that’s recognized by all the professionals in the field, from becoming known to regular people? What role does IQ play in educational and occupational achievement? How much of it is genetic and how much environmental? Does the fact that there may be some environmental causes of IQ differences mean that whites are to blame? Could it be that blacks cause those environmental factors, such as due to the fact that they are less likely to breast-feed their children, a known IQ factor? The American Psychological Association’s Board of Scientific Affairs set up a Task Force on intelligence research which concluded that IQ scores do have high predictive validity for individual differences in school achievement. They confirmed the predictive validity of IQ for adult occupational status, even when variables such as education and family background have been statistically controlled. They agree that individual differences in intelligence are substantially influenced by genetics and that both genes and environment, in complex interplay, are essential to the development of intellectual competence. They state there is little evidence to show that childhood diet influences intelligence except in cases of severe malnutrition. The task force agrees that large differences do exist between the average IQ scores of blacks and whites, and that these differences cannot be attributed to biases in test construction. Can we discuss this? Could this be the source of black failure? Could this be the reason blacks go to college less and fail out of school more? Could this be the reason for crime? For high loan default rates? 6. Can we discuss the fact that black-majority schools receive far more funding than white schools, but lag behind only because the students destroy everything from the books to the walls? The state that spends least on education per student is Utah, which is almost all white. The state that spends most is New York, with a large black population. Cities spend more than suburbs and rural areas, with black-majority cities such as Washington D.C. coming out at the top. Can we discuss why is it that black kids are more deserving of funding when everything merely gets destroyed? 7. And while we are discussing spending, can we discuss why is it that whites who are about 65% of the population pay over 90% of the taxes? Why do whites pay a higher percentage of their salary than blacks? At the same time that they pay a higher percentage of their salary in taxes, whites get far less from the government. Only 38% of welfare recipients, for example, are white. Even fewer residents in housing projects are white. Can we discuss the massive transfer of wealth from whites to blacks every year where each and every black man, woman and child receives on an average over $10,000 more in government spending than what they pay in taxes? 8. Can we discuss the fact that affirmative action costs our whole economy about 8% of its GDP due to the inefficiencies it creates where businesses and the government are forced to hire based on race rather than ability? Can we discuss the fact that affirmative action costs the average white family almost $25,000 and the average Asian family over $40,000, while the average black family benefits in the amount over $17,500? 9. Can we discuss why other colonies succeed upon independence, but Africa, Haiti and the Caribbean collapsed economically? When Hong Kong was under British rule, it was wealthier than its rules in the United Kingdom and actually wealthier almost all the world’s countries. Yet black countries cannot succeed no matter what economic or political system they try, and no matter how much aid is sent to them. Why are all black-run countries poor? If white countries keep Africa down, then show us how? Is it all those hundreds of billions of dollars in government and private aid that goes to Africa? Why is it that other countries can overcome international pressure, but Africa is always helpless? Why is it that despite a global boycott of Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), it was wealthier under white rule than under black rule? Same question for South Africa. 10. If black people are portrayed poorly in the media, as you claim with no proof, please give us some examples? Can we discuss the fact that when Law & Order producers use real life stories, they nearly always change the race of criminals from black to white? All the alarm commercials feature white criminals. In all the movies I can think of where the criminal was portrayed as a purely unsympathetic figure, he was white. In rare cases when a black person is seen breaking the law, he’s usually fighting a bigger evil or defending his family, and the movie-watchers are supposed to sympathize with him. Whites are far more likely to commit crime in fictional media than real life, while blacks are far less likely. Is that media bias that you speak of? Bias against whom? If you have examples of blacks portrayed negatively (other than on the news with real life stories), can you please tell us what they are? Finally and most importantly, can we discuss how you never have any proof for anything you say? You just make naked assertions about “racism” and “legacies”, and then intimidate people by calling them names in hope of suppressing all two-way debates, thus turning people into cowards! Can we discuss that? No? Then, Mr. Holder, stop calling us cowards. You turned us into cowards by suppressing all debate. The only explanations that you want to allow are those that blame whites for black failure. If you don’t allow any statements about white success or black shortcomings, then the only other explanation that is available is to blame whitey. I have been ridiculously busy the last few days and remember reading it during the brief work breaks, but not sure if it’s one of the posters on this blog or elsewhere who wrote it. Whoever it is, thank you, excellent quote and certainly does apply to all the liberals who try to argue here. I will write a lengthy response to Catherine. I deleted and marked as spam comments where she personally attacked others with words such as ‘moron’ and ‘idiot’. I am sure in her mind it proves that I am afraid of being proven wrong with her phenomenal arguments. (Not one of which was new - I heard all of them a million times in school. Like so many college kids, she’s incapable of thinking, just regurgitating her professors’ propaganda.) Ah yes, as soon as I read that she called Californian a moron and HardLogic an idiot, I immediately saw the light and began singing “We Shall Overcome”. Are you kidding me?! And when asked to prove her assertions with some evidence, she either outright stated that she refuses to do so or responded with “WTF, lol”. Calling someone a moron and ridiculing their question with “wtf, lol” may pass as proper academic discourse in most universities (so long as the attacker is a liberal and the person on the receiving end isn’t), but I have no reason to allow that on this blog. It does not add anything of value to our discussions. If anything, it will drive away the intellectuals who would not want to be involved in such mud. I haven’t had a chance to respond to her idiotism because I’ve been busy, but she follows the standard Nazi propaganda technique where if a lie is repeated enough times, people will eventually believe it, and therefore, one must repeat false conclusions as often as possible, even though it is impossible to back them up with any evidence. The point of the propaganda technique is to repeat something enough times, from enough different sources, that people will start to believe you. Anyway, I am falling asleep here, but I will write more on this later. She’s really very typical of indoctrinated college students. Almost everyone here has a college degree and a large number went to grad school, so I doubt anything she said came as any surprise to you. To those who didn’t go to college, as you can see, you didn’t miss much. I will use her garbage to pick apart the typical liberal college student screaming “Yes, We Can”, thinking she knows something, but who in reality is utterly incapable of analyzing and thinking on her own.

  • Culturalism is only a start, and race does Matter.

    I have read the book, culturalism is a great idea, but it is only a start. The book says race does not play a part, tell that to those who live in the many china towns and mini-mexicos across the United States. Culture is connected to ethnicity just as culture is connected to language, some on the left, even charge that to enforce assimilation is tantamount to ethnic genocide. It is only we whites who they say have no culture, we are clay to be molded in whatever image they choose for us.
