“I guess I’m a racist”

“I guess I’m a racist”

How ’bout you?

Here’s a new ad against Obamacare. They’ve got the right idea, but they ruin it with their political correctness and pandering to minorities. The last person in the ad is a black man, and the camera stays on him longer than any of the other actors in the ad. Because soooo many black people are conservatives opposed to big government and a federal takeover of the health care system, and because it’s especially painful for a black person to be accused of racism.

What do Tiger Woods’ women all have in common?

What do Tiger Woods’ women all have in common?

Gee, let me think…what could it be? Hey, I know! I’ll check with one of those hard hitting sports writers in the mainstream media, because they don’t pull any punches. They’re not afraid to tell it like it is!

Sleaze has been the undisputed champion of the sports world for 2009

It dominated this year’s sports scene like a black-tasseled whip.

Athletes were embarrassed by it, executives were crushed under it, and at least one former Notre Dame football coach tripped over it and fell on his big fat face.

It made headlines — and mincemeat — of Alex Rodriguez and Madonna, Jamie McCourt and the Bodyguard, Tiger Woods and approximately 1,556 Women With Big Hair.

BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Yeah, that’s it Plaschke, Tiger Woods likes “big haired” women.

What a complete freaking imbecile. I guess if you want to write for the MSM, you’ve got to check your spine, testicles, and self respect at the door as part of the deal.

Big hair? Hardly. Out of the 9 or 10 women so far that claim to be girlfriends of Tiger Woods, I’ve only seen one that could be remotely described as having “big hair.”

No, what they all have in common is that they’re white. And everyone knows it. Except for imbeciles in the mainstream media.

Actually, this guy is well aware of it, but he also knows he’s not allowed to mention it, so he comes up with the lie about “big hair” that makes him look like an idiot in front of the whole world, as well as a spineless coward.

When black people talk about the Tiger Woods sex scandal, the white women factor is one of the main topics of conversation. For many, it’s the only aspect of the situation worth talking about.

But white men in the media are too cowardly to talk about Woods’ fondness for white women. Well, it would be better not to talk about the scandal at all than to embarrass yourself by claiming that he’s attracted to “big haired” women.

What an idiot.

And they wonder why newspapers are dying?

Why do people hate the media so much?

Category: America Is Becoming A Third World Country, Diversity Is Our Greatest Strength, Don’t Say The N Word!, Hatred Of White People, Immigration, The Media

Maybe because of stuff like this. In the Fort Worth area, a Nigerian couple have been arrested and charged with forcing another Nigerian woman into slavery, including forced sex, for nine years. And how is the media reporting this story? Are the headlines along the lines of “Nigerians arrested for keeping slave in Fort Worth”? No. MSM types believe that when criminals are non-whites or immigrants, that fact isn’t “relevant”, and shouldn’t be mentioned, because only a racist neo-Nazi type would care about the race of a criminal. (If it’s a white criminal accused of victimizing a non-white, that’s different, and every headline will trumpet the race of the suspect.) On the other hand, the MSM is always trying to portray non-whites and immigrants as victims of racist, hate filled Americans, so it’s important to mention that the slave is from Nigeria. They’re well aware that many people will never go past the headline, and will naturally assume that a white, American couple enslaved a poor, helpless black Nigerian immigrant. That’s why they write these things the way they do. Here are the headlines:

Over and over. And that reporter and her editors will no doubt get a good talking to in the next few days.

Conservatives love terrorists

Conservatives love terrorists

As long as they’re not Muslims.

Clint Eastwood has a new movie out, Invictus, which is a celebration of Nelson Mandela and the racial integration of the South African rugby team, the Springboks. Over at the “conservative” Big Hollywood site, they think this is just terrific. Nelson Mandela with his magnanimous “forgiveness” of those who had so “unjustly” imprisoned him, led the way for South Africa to become the shining beacon of peace and harmony it is today.

Uh, wasn’t Nelson Mandela imprisoned for terrorism? Didn’t he confess to terrorism? Doesn’t he refuse even today to renounce his terrorist activities in the past?

So why in the world would conservatives celebrate Nelson Mandela? I thought they were against terrorism?

Oh, wait…Muslim terrorists hate Jews, so they’re bad.

South African terrorists (and their Jewish leaders) hated white people, so they’re good.

Here’s Nelson Mandela, just a few years ago, along with a bunch of black ANC members, and a couple Jewish ones, singing about hunting down and killing the white man. This is the man whose life “conservatives” think we should celebrate.

Thomas Chittum’s Holocaust

Thomas Chittum’s Holocaust

Thomas W. Chittum is an author, military analyst and former mercenary from New Jersey. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He fought in the Rhodesian War and the Croatian War of Independence. Chittum predicts that the United States will soon face Balkanization and a second Civil War based on racial conflicts. He also says that he plans to move to upstate New York because it will be the last Caucasian-controlled area after the American Southwest effectively becomes part of Mexico due to immigration by 2020.
He is the author of Sgt Skull’s Field Manual for the Practical Modern Warrior, 2006 and Civil War Two: The Coming Breakup of America. Tucson, AZ: American Eagle Publications. p. 201 pages. ISBN 0929408179. (1993, updated in 2007 with preface and author foreword)

Chittum observes that nobody wrote a book warning Americans about the bloodbath that the first civil war was about to unleash. That war ground the entire southern half of America into a smoking wasteland and killed or crippled almost an entire generation of American men.

Most people are waking up to the horrid fact that a second depression is upon us – that their “retirement cookie jars have been systematically looted.”

Chittum arns that this “meltdown will hasten our descent into an internal civil war that will depopulate the entire North American continent, wiping out 50% or more of the population.”

“Before I go on I’d like to revisit my book and go over what I got right and what I got wrong. I mentioned the New World Order in my book. At the time I wasn’t aware that the New World Order was an active conspiracy of bankers and aristocrats centered in London. I thought it was a sort of loose alliance of giddy globalists, trendy tree huggers and politically correct airheads. Then along came both the internet and the 911 terrorists attacks. I took me approximately three months to wise up to the fact that 911 was an inside job. I’d always followed military events closely and that’s how I woke up to the 911 scam. For years the American military had been encircling Afghanistan with military bases and pre-positioned stockpiles of military goodies. Then along came Osama bin Subcontractor like some boogie man in a bad movie. It all seemed like a low-budget Hollywood production. That’s because it was.”

After years of speaking to rightist groups, Chittum has concluded that the obvious government spooks at the meetings weren’t there to spy on these groups. The government spooks were there because “THESE GOVERNMENT SPOOKS WERE ACTUALLY RUNNING THESE RIGHTIST GROUPS. Most of these right-wing groups were conceived, planned, created and then run by government spooks. It’s all part of what I call peasant management.”

The spooks “create false flag rightist groups to stampede leftists into the ranks of their false flag leftist groups, and they create the false flag leftist groups to stampede rightists into their false flag rightist groups.”

Chittum believes the New World Order is in a hell of a jam.

“Both Russia and China have how shaken off communism which was imposed on them by the London Banking Cartel. Both have turned to state-directed development and growth policies and are striving to feed their people and increase their standard of living. This is the exact opposite of the global depopulation and genocide via starvation and war that the New World Order is imposing on the rest of the globe via the Club of Rome and their other psychotic think tanks and NGOs. Russia and China and some neighboring states have formed a double whammy military and economic bloc called the Shanghai Cooperation Organization…..The clock is ticking against the London Banking Cartel and the only solution to fulfilling both their military and economic blueprints is pedal to the metal all-out war.”

Chittum means nuclear war.

“The London Banking Cartel has to sell global war to the American airheads, hence the 911 terrorist attacks. Dictatorships cannot stampede the people into giving up their property and their liberty without conjuring up both foreign AND DOMESTIC ENEMIES. That’s why a civil war is in the offing. A civil war in America is not only possible – IT IS ESSENTIAL. It’s all part of the plan. Flood the Southwest with millions of Mexicans and then trash the economy so the starving and ticked off Mexicans will burn an entire geographic region right down to the ground. This should be sufficient to stampede the rest of the peasants into accepting anything the London Banking Cartel pukes up and presents as a solution to the resulting mess.”

Chittum explains that our rulers have convinced themselves that nuclear warfare is survivable, winnable and beneficial for them.

“Massive peasant armies are no longer a necessity due to the extreme energy density of nukes. The industrial infrastructure necessary to generate a really impressive nuke arsenal is far greater than the relatively small number of professional soldiers necessary to deliver them. “When peasants became useless for war the bulk of them became useless. Before nukes the rule was the more peasants the better. After nukes only a smaller number of peasants were needed to produce goodies for the idle aristocrats…. Massive peasant armies are obsolete and are maintained chiefly on a reduced scale for theatrical purposes. They are there for peasant perception control….”

The Bush-Obama wars serve two purposes: the conquest of the Asian heartland and the destruction of current military machine.

The current military machine must be destroyed so it can be replaced into one better designed to ensure the dismantling of the American republic.

“The destruction of the American military in Iraq and Afghanistan will pave the way for its replacement by privatized military contractors formerly known as warlords. Citizen soldiers might balk at massive ethnic cleansing operations in California for example, but warlords won’t. Picture armies of Blackwater mercs composed of mostly non-Americans recruited from all points of the globe. They will gladly slaughter everything in their path including any remaining American military units who might oppose them. The London Banking Cartel must first ignite a civil war in America and then ultimately ensure the that the secessionist win after their hired warlords and mercenary hordes have stomped the new mini states into malleable mush which may or may not be glued together in some sort of North American Confederation with “Ameros” for money and some multi-colored rag for a flag… I basically think it will work. I think the coming tribal/civil war in America will be roughly proportional to the severity of the economic collapse that sets it off. Meanwhile, while you are waiting for Osama bin Subcontractor to nuke us and waiting for your starving neighbors to batter your door down, keep an eye on California. It’s the canary in the coal mine. When it croaks the rest of America ill follow sooner or later.”

Mr. Chittum began by explaining how Yugoslavian type collapse of the United States would come about.

His subsequent research has led him to identify our rulers.

The Year of the Machete by Tom Chittum

The population of the Virgin Islands is 85% black and Hispanic, and 15% European. They are all American citizens living on American soil and the American flag flies overhead. In 1989 hurricane Hugo struck the Virgin Islands. Riot, looting and anarchy followed. “Armed gangs of 100 or more plundered the streets.” There were “roving, machete-wielding gangs bent on murder.” Europeans were “punched, clubbed and driven from their homes.” When the mostly black National Guard was called out to restore order they joined in the looting, driving away in national guard trucks packed full of looted merchandise. Numerous witnesses reported that black police and national guardsmen joined in the looting. The Europeans had to arm themselves with machetes to defend their lives and their homes. Don’t be like the unfortunate lady pictured on the left. Be prepared for such disturbances when they come to your area.

When Civil War Two dawns over the glorious American Empire it will take on an interesting variation in Florida. Accounts of the initial disorders will read much like the one that follows, one that actually did happen.

Black and Hispanic rioters armed with guns and machetes roamed the streets for days, sometimes in gangs of 100 or more. They looted and burned stores. They threatened, robbed and assaulted Europeans, sometimes driving them from their homes.

The local police and national guardsmen, who were almost all blacks and Hispanics, bolted their sworn allegiance to the law, failed to protect the Europeans from these assaults, and according to eyewitnesses actually joined in the looting, driving away in national guard trucks they had so industriously loaded with merchandise.

Hundreds of imprisoned black and Hispanic convicts, including rapists and murderers, escaped and poured into the streets, fueling the chaos.

The shocked and unprepared Europeans were forced to defend themselves from the blacks and Hispanics with whatever was at hand. Some had guns, but others had to stand guard over their homes and property with machetes. Many Europeans fled to the airport where they begged the arriving, mostly-European soldiers to evacuate them.

This scenario depicted above is not a piece of B-movie fiction, it really happened. What’s more, it wasn’t played out in some foreign banana republic or remote leftover of the British or French Empires.

All the principals described above were Americans – all of them. The black and Hispanic rioters were Americans. The escaped convicts were Americans. The police and national guardsmen turned looters were Americans. The Europeans who took up machetes in defense of their homes and lives were Americans. The terrified Europeans who fled to the airport for evacutaion were Americans. The arriving soldiers who rescued them were Americans. They were all Americans, all of them, and the Stars and Stripes flew overhead while our imperial society first broke down and broke up, then reformed in clashing tribal fragments.

This astonishing breakdown was reported on the front page of America’s leading Imperialist mouthpiece, along with pictures and extensive eyewitness accounts of the terrified survivors, and it occurred within the lifetime of most living Americans … and was then instantly forgotten. Down the memory hole – what’s on the tube tonite?

I’ll wager that today not one American in a thousand remembers this all-American apocalypse when American police and national guardsmen turned looters, and when European-Americans had to arm themselves with machetes and stand guard over their homes, and it all happened on American soil with the Stars and Stripes flapping overhead, exposed as the gutted symbol it has been reduced to. Throw in some popcorn and you’ve got yourself a neat preview of Civil War Two.

I bet you’ve no idea of what I’m talking about, do you? If you are reading these words on my website you can scan down to the posted newspaper accounts and verify everything I’ve said. If you’re not at my website you’ll simply have to visit it. The URL is posted at the end of this column.

Critics mock my assertion that America will devolve into a 3,000 mile tribal Superdeath Bowl with black and Hispanic police and soldiers rebelling and pitching in with their tribal co-ethnics in rioting and looting and attacking Europeans. My fellow imperial subjects, these establishment critics can’t even remember when it actually happened right under their noses.

Residents of Florida should pay particular attention to the ethnic rebellion described above and documented below by the New York Times. Why? Because it provides an instructive preview of a region-wide riot-turned-rebellion that will drive the few remaining Europeans (by which I mean those not partitioned by machetes) out of southern Florida about a generation from now, never to return.

Do you live in southern Florida? About a generation from now Florida will be hacked to bleeding pieces by its inevitable “Year of the Machete” and disappear into dusty history books, no longer a part of the United States in any meaningful sense. About a generation from now the demographics of southern Florida will be much like demographics that allowed the ignition of the ethnic rebellion just described and documented, and the third-worldish Florida National Guard will likewise turn to looting and then to actually attacking the few remaining European “racists.”

Know this: Haiti is where Haitians are. Cuba is where Cubans are. When some future natural or man-made disruption causes your multiethnic paradise of southern Florida to jump the rails, these Caribbean colonizers will react just as they do in the third-world delights they paddled in from. The disorders will be so widespread that the imperial center will not have sufficient formations to restore order for weeks or months, if at all.

Furthermore, the imperial (read federal) military formations upon which a supposed restoration of order depends are likewise undergoing an ominous transformation. The United States Army is now twenty-nine percent African. A generation from now the Untied States Army will be predominately black and Hispanic with hardly a scattering of Europeans. Ask yourself if a military force so constituted will defend the Europeans in Florida from attacks by blacks and Hispanics.

Europeans in southern Florida will have to evacuate through mile after mile of streets littered with rubble from looted stores. They will somehow have to run roadblocks set up by liquored-up street gang brothers and machos with machetes and assault rifles. Gas stations to refuel at? Forget it. Fires will rage everywhere, the flames and smoke eliminating many possible escape routes. Can you depend on the National Guard to ride shotgun on evacuation convoys? They’ll be busy handing out guns from looted armories to their “brothers.”

Do you live in southern Florida? If you do be advised that your Globalist-decreed multiethnic paradise is headed straight towards a traditional, Caribbean-style election-by-machetes. Sell out and get out now before all you can get for your house is the price of a tarpaper shack in Port-au-Prince. Get out of Florida now, or get ready for … The Year of the Machete.

From the New York Times Sep. 22, 1989
New York Times’ caption reads: “Valerie McDermott holding a machete as she stood guard over a pickup truck yesterday in Christiansted, on St. Croix in the Virgin Islands. Looters and armed gangs roamed the town’s devestated streets.”

Mossberg markets a model strictly for use by the novice in self-defense in case of home invasion:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mossberg_500#Home_security_model

When a shotgun manufacturer markets a product line specifically for that purpose you know something’s gone terribly wrong with society.  (And maybe you oughtta buy a few, one for each member of the family …… That eleven year old white girl used a Mossberg shotgun the other day to bring down two Mexican killers who’d invaded her home while her parents were away; one of them had just stabbed a white man to death and there can be little doubt that without the Mossberg the girl would have been raped, then snuffed out, either strangled, or her skull bashed in, or her throat slashed.  She took one Mexican down when he got up to her room where she was waiting for him with the weapon, then let the other one have it when she saw him at the bottom of the staircase.  Neither Mexican survived.  Girl had been enrolled in a gun club by her dad and was a crack shot apparently.  Mex killers didn’t stand a chance once they set foot in that house with her in it, armed.  Talk about evening up the odds, a Mossberg’ll do it.)

AMERICANS HAVE TWO OPTIONS: REVOLT OR DIE: http://restoretheconstitutionalrepublic.com/forum/index.php?topic=3132.0

THE Anglo-Saxons declare war only as a last resort. It is a remedy for an awful situation. The sword, in other words, no longer means that they propose to cut their way by force in the world, but that they will sacrifice everything, life, property and happiness, if necessary, to maintain peace, freedom, justice and social order, which they believe to be the supreme considerations that make life worth living.

http://restoretheconstitutionalrepublic.com/forum/index.php?topic=3216.0

It has become apparent to most Americans that both houses of our Congress, just like the British Parliament of the 1760’s and 1770’s, no longer represents the interests of the American people.

Americans are fast approaching a point of frustration and anger with their own government similar to what the American colonists reached in 1776. They want to take their country and government back.

We hold no illusions about ever being able to realize anything concrete through parliamentary measures.

There is no way for America to attain redress using constitutional measures. These FACTS are very difficult for Patriots to accept. They bring home, as nothing else can, the tragedy of our loss. The battle to save Western Civilization from extinction therefore will be fought NOT in the Halls of Congress, as patriots would wish, but among the hedge-rows and in the streets of North America – where our forefathers fought.

Nothing, absolutely nothing by way of Anglo-Saxon institutions remain intact: this effectively means that America as it had been known for about 150 years has been wiped out more cleanly than if it had been defeated in a sudden war.

The society is a shambles and the economy slips more every day.

The polarization of the people and the government is so total that few even among the Movement can grasp its fullness.

Because the U.S. government has denied constitutional redress to Americans, only two options remain: REVOLT or DIE.

There is no need of revolution in a healthy State and society and indeed there can be no talk of it. Each revolution has been preceded by the SELLING OUT of the existing ruling class. And who else but they are in charge of all the building blocks of a civilization’s government, church, profession, military, arts, etc.? These things all go when the ruling class sells out and becomes decadent, unfit to rule any longer. This amounts to total revolution.

We’re talking about a very large body of people who have sold out, or, perhaps better put, have burnt out. With no vital signs left. Yet, to remove them would be to see the U.S. at an end. Not to remove them will be to see another Africa arise on the North American Continent. It is not so much a conspiracy as it is a head being out of touch with its body but yet striving to make certain that the body becomes as vile and perverse as the head, thus spelling doom for the entire organism.

The mark of a revolutionary movement can only be seen in its complete separation from the current establishment. It is completely apart.

It is not apart because it can’t make the grade in the sick society, but rather because it can’t stomach it and refuses to be part of it. IT IS SET APART BECAUSE IT IS DISCIPLINED, SOBER AND AUSTERE, TRULY MORAL.

It is a revolution because – finding itself faced with an absolute abomination – it has as its highest priority the destruction of the System and therefore is not some piddling conservative sideshow crusade. It can and does reject the prevailing decadence of the sick society, not because of any leftover code of taboos but because to dissipate oneself in such a manner is counter-revolutionary.

It has historically been the task of each revolution to destroy that which is unclean. That accomplished, nature and man can once again assume their proper course upward.

The future is inevitable, it is difficult, and it is filled with heroes, martyrs and glorious victories.

Abolishing Lawless Government: “Government by consent also focuses on the unalienable right to disestablish a tyrannical or lawless government, that is, the right to alter or abolish the form of government. Great survey from Roissy in DC, would you rather be butt raped, or suffer from Cuckoldery?

It seems that my spirited discussion of resolving the ultimate betrayal through mandatory paternity testing made the rounds on the internet. A male commenter at Overcoming Bias had this to say about the Roissyan contention that cuckoldry is on a par with rape, if not even more psychologically traumatic:

And as to whether it’s worse [for a woman] to be raped or [a man to be] cuckolded – I cannot even begin to understand the trauma or ostracization of the first (which by the way happens to A LOT more than two percent the population) while the second would only hurt because of the dishonesty. It’s a difference of several orders of magnitude!

Oh rilly? I think it’s time to put this assertion to the test with a leetle thought experiment. Imagine two highly unpleasant scenarios.

Scenario 1

You are walking past an alleyway when Big Bad Bubba comes up behind you and drags you into the dark alley, muttering “you look real purty for a grown boy” as he uses his bulk to press you into the damp brick wall, his beefy bear paws yanking your jeans and boxers down to your ankles. You try to resist but his strength is overwhelming. He smashes your face into the wall and sticks a knife to your throat, saying he’ll cut you if you scream. Suddenly, a seering pain shoots up your rectum. You struggle to get away but you are immobilized. The pain continues for what seems an eternity but is in actuality only one minute and 22 seconds. Punctuating his release with a great heaving grunt, Bubba withdraws, spent, and cackles as he walks off, the lingering musky stench of his sweat offending your nostrils. Vomit rises up your throat and you stumble to your knees, your hands grasping at pebbles on the ground. You are sure your innards are spilling out on a torrent of blood from your asshole, but luckily when you arrive at the hospital an hour later the doctors tell you there was no permanent damage to your poopenshaften and you are AIDS free. You go home, go to sleep, and call in sick the following two days. Over the following months you go to the gym more frequently than you used to, working out your shame and anger in the weight room. People compliment your improved physique. You tell no one of your ordeal.

Scenario 2

You are married to the love of your life. In the first year of wedded bliss, your wife gets pregnant. Nine months later an infant pops out. You are filled with so much joy you hardly notice the brief flicker of discomfort you feel when you ponder that the child looks nothing like you, nor do you pay much attention to all your relatives telling you how much the child looks like you. Time passes. You spend countless hours, days, weeks, months, years loving your child, wiping his ass, taking him to the park, strapping him in the car seat and struggling with the belts and clips, working extra long hours to afford a move to a better neighborhood so your child can go to a good school, sacrificing your beloved guitar gig with a local band to spend that newly freed up personal time helping your child with his homework, attending his soccer games, cheering for him when he scores a goal, instructing him how to swing a bat and build a model airplane, teaching him how to defend himself in a fight, disciplining him for a bad grade in english, setting aside a chunk of your income for his college fund, and generally reorganizing your life in almost every conceivable way for your child’s benefit. Then, when your child is age 10, through a series of fateful circumstances you discover he is another man’s biological son. Your gut implodes and your heart crashes. Your mouth has dried into a sticky velcro. You feel as if you have just seen everyone you love die horrible deaths in front of you. Your brain is scorched and the room spins for what seems like an eternity but is in actuality only two hours and 43 minutes. Over the next year you learn that, despite your best efforts at some kind of recompense or at minimum freedom from pain, the law has decided in its infinite wisdom to require you to pay child support for another eight years to the wife you divorced, in the interests of the child. Betrayal eviscerates your sense of self. Besides the obvious lie, you wonder at the cascade of lies in tow. Did your wife whom you loved so much ever really love you? Did anyone else know? Did they think you a fool? Was your dignity worth so little to the people who mattered to you most? You ask these questions already knowing the answers.

Now that you have considered these two vile scenarios I want you to vote which of the two, should you be forced to endure one of them, you would rather have happen to you. This voting is for my male readers only. Ladies, you can take a time out with your purple saguaros.

More from Stuff Black People Don’t Like!!

#65. Their Newest Game Discovered – TWB

Sports. Who doesn’t love sports? Black people love sports, for it has been their ticket to integrating America and achieving equality in this nation.

Without sports, it is hard to imagine Black people fully participating in American life as the idea known as “mainstreaming“positive images of Black people would be much less effective without hours of endless sports on television. Instead, the local nightly newscasts would barrage the citizens of this nation with endless images of hate facts.

Think of former presidential candidate Jack Kemp, who gushed about his opportunities to shower with Black people and how that shielded him from being denounced as a “racist”:

“Mr. Kemp won his House seat in 1970 because of his celebrity as an all-star quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, twice champions of the American Football League. He connected his concern for minorities with his respect for his black teammates, especially the linemen who had protected him from pass rushers.

Vin Weber, a former congressman from Minnesota and a close friend, said Mr. Kemp would often say, “I can’t help but care about the rights of the people I used to shower with.”

A new movie debuts today called “Invictus” – which stars Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela – and this film shows the world the power of sports to bring people of various races together to achieve a common destiny:

“The film tells the inspiring true story of how Nelson Mandela joined forces with the captain of South Africa’s rugby team to help unite their country. Newly elected President Mandela knows his nation remains racially and economically divided in the wake of apartheid.

Believing he can bring his people together through the universal language of sport, Mandela rallies South Africa’s rugby team as they make their historic run to the 1995 Rugby World Cup Championship match.”

Strangely, the movie ends with the viewer left believing South Africa is now a nation of tolerance and beauty, where the destiny of both whites and Black people is headed to a prosperous future of peace. Sports couldn’t even do that in the nation with the “Cape of Good Hope” (SBPDL will discuss this movie in an entry this weekend).

The promise of sports is that people from different backgrounds and races can put differences behind them to work for the greater good: winning. However, victory on a field in game largely played for entertainment does not translate to a winning recipe for running a stable nation (just ask South Africa), although showering with Black people in great numbers can induce a life-time journey of fighting for equality on their behalf.
Black people however, do excel at sports that require the ability to run quickly and jump with great dexterity. And people love to watch on television the exploits of sports stars.

However, Black people had hoped in earnest to keep the television sets from beaming their newest sport to the citizens of the United States, for this sport might not be as palatable to the majority population as it is to the enjoyment of those partaking in it.

You see, Black people have invented a new sport that they take particular joy in participating in – and this is one sport that won’t see integration anytime soon – for it is a game that instills ethnic, cultural and racial pride.

Sadly, it lacks a name as of yet, but this anonymous game is popping up all across the country like Fight Clubs being created by Tyler Durden in the film of the same name.

Unsure of the sport in discussion? Perhaps a refresher of an event in Akron is necessary to let you on the secret, dear reader:

“…But to Marty Marshall, his wife and two kids, it seems pretty clear. It came after a family night of celebrating America and freedom with a fireworks show at Firestone Stadium. Marshall, his family and two friends were gathered outside a friend’s home in South Akron.

Out of nowhere, the six were attacked by dozens of teenage boys, who shouted ”This is our world” and ”This is a black world” as they confronted Marshall and his family.”

Now do you know the sport that brings Black people together like no other game can? Henceforth, this anonymous game shall be called “TBW” – short for “This is a Black world” – for it is being played all across the nation.

Recently, Denver has seen this game taken up by a large number of Black people, as the furor for participating in TBW is reaching a fevered pitch:

“Racial attacks like the ones behind the arrest of 32 suspects in Denver are part of a trend spreading across the country, gang experts said Saturday.

As part of the trend, black gang members videotape the assaults in trendy tourist districts and sell them on the underground market as entertainment.

“They knock a young white guy out with one blow to see if his knees will wobble and surround them and take their money,” said the Rev. Leon Kelly, who runs a Denver gang-prevention program. “It’s a joke.”

Denver police announced the 32 arrests Friday after a months-long undercover investigation into what authorities said were racially motivated assaults and robberies in Denver, including in the Lower Downtown entertainment district.

They seek the arrests of three more suspects.”

Denver’s Black population has found TWB an exciting and challenging game to partake in, as they try and evade the police in the aftermath of each contest.

Oddly, this game has popped up in Minneapolis as well. Black people there are even finding the sport of TWB worthy of recording for viewers of Youtube.com to enjoy:

“St. Paul police have arrested an adult and a juvenile in connection with a series of random attacks in Minneapolis and St. Paul that were recorded on video and posted on YouTube.

A 19-year-old was booked into the Ramsey County jail, and a 17-year-old was taken to a juvenile detention center. Both were booked Tuesday on suspicion of strong-arm robbery and aggravated assault, according to St. Paul police reports.”

The city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, also finds a large number of Black people partaking in the glory of TWB, as Asians are the targets in a recent game:

“Some black students at South Philly High were none too happy yesterday.

In the wake of Thursday’s melee in which a group of African-American students attacked a number of Asian students, many griped about how they feel that black students at the school are being villainized because of the actions of a few bad apples.

Since last week’s altercations in which, community activists said, about 30 Asian students were attacked by a group of black students, the district has cracked down, increasing the number of school police on foot patrol in the area and redeploying school security to the school’s hot spots, said a district spokesman. City police also are lending assistance.”

TWB is a game that is picking up steam quickly, as it was recently played in Akron, Ohio by two college students and in Baltimore, Black people find the sport hard not to participate in:

“Two teenage Crofton boys were arrested Sunday and charged in the death of Christopher David Jones, a 14-year-old who was attacked a day earlier while riding his bicycle along one of the town’s tree-lined streets, Anne Arundel County police said.

An autopsy by the state medical examiner’s office in Baltimore indicated that David, who lived on the 2400 block of Old Mystic Court in Crofton, died from head and neck injuries. Police said Sunday night that a motive for the fatal attack – by five to seven young men – is still under investigation, but emphasized that it was not a random act.”

It is difficult to pinpoint when this recently named game – TWB – took off in popularity, or where it even got started. One theory puts the origins of the game in Louisiana and to a small town there called Jena:

“Jena does have racial problems. Jena does have bigotry and prejudice, just like every other town in America, perhaps even worse than some. If there were no racial problems, there would have been no nooses hung from a tree. There would not be one white student beaten and six black students charged with attempted second-degree murder. The local ministers would not have hurriedly called a meeting to deal with the issue. The cameras of the world would not have focused their lenses on Jena.
There was no “fight” on December 4, 2006 at Jena High School, as the national media continues to characterize the event in question. Six students attacked a single student who was immediately knocked unconscious. According to sworn testimony, they stomped him, as he lay “lifeless” upon the ground.

Justin Barker, the white student attacked, was not the first white student targeted by these black students. Others had been informed they were going to be beaten, but stayed away from school and out of sight until they felt safe.”

The game, “This is a Black World” – or TWB – had to have gotten started in Jena, for the entire heaped money and love in the direction of the Black people who participated in the first version of this game, and the Jena Six were the beneficiaries of Disingenuous white liberal love.

TWB is a game that Black people never wanted the citizens of this nation to know about. It got started in Jena, where Black people beat up a white kid and were then awarded with positive media coverage and donations from concerned people the world over.

Every other Black person participating in this game hopes for the same outcome, however, Stuff Black People Don’t Like includes their newest game discovered, for TWB was supposed to be kept quiet for a few more years at least.

After all, the first rule of TWB is you don’t talk about “This is a Black world”.

Global Warming and Population Control – a future SBPDL

Stuff Black People Don’t Like is primarily concerned with educating the world on American Black people.

However, we do notice world trends and see an incredibly high-ranking SBPDL that few wish to discuss frankly – Global Warming and Population Control.

Now, SBPDL isn’t “going green” on you just yet. We’ll stay Black for the time being, but we would like to point out an interesting article:

“Population and climate change are intertwined but the population issue has remained a blind spot when countries discuss ways to mitigate climate change and slow down global warming, according to Zhao Baige, vice-minister of National Population and Family Planning Commission of China (NPFPC) .

“Dealing with climate change is not simply an issue of CO2 emission reduction but a comprehensive challenge involving political, economic, social, cultural and ecological issues, and the population concern fits right into the picture,” said Zhao, who is a member of the Chinese government delegation.

Many studies link population growth with emissions and the effect of climate change.

“Calculations of the contribution of population growth to emissions growth globally produce a consistent finding that most of past population growth has been responsible for between 40 per cent and 60 percent of emissions growth,” so stated by the 2009 State of World Population, released earlier by the UN Population Fund.

Although China’s family planning policy has received criticism over the past three decades, Zhao said that China’s population program has made a great historic contribution to the well-being of society.

As a result of the family planning policy, China has seen 400 million fewer births, which has resulted in 18 million fewer tons of CO2 emissions a year, Zhao said.

The UN report projected that if the global population would remain 8 billion by the year 2050 instead of a little more than 9 billion according to medium-growth scenario, “it might result in 1 billion to 2 billion fewer tons of carbon emissions”.”

The global warming debate rarely discusses the impact that the proliferation of human beings has upon the environment and finite resources that help sustain these populations (mainly disingenous white liberals who send boatloads of money, medicine and resources to ensure the continued aggregation of third world populations). Why is it that only white people seem to care about the environment anyway? Is “going green” primarily a white activity?

These DWLs must be blamed for the population growth in one sector of the world, Africa:

“Sub-Saharan Africa is headed for a “population emergency” according to a new French analysis of demographic trends.

The population of the continent south of the Sahara, decimated by the slave trade and colonization, stood at 100 million in 1900, according to the study by Centre Population et Developpement. It had grown more than seven-fold to 770 million by 2005. By 2050, it will grow by as much as 2.6 times above that level, to 2 billion. The population of the entire world today is 6.6 billion.

In 1960, one African city had 1 million residents. Now, 40 do, and the rural exodus is continuing at such a pace that already strained cities are struggling to provide services, like health care, and infrastructure, like sewage treatment, enough to support the population growth.”

The high fecundity rates of Black people in Africa is stressing out the finite resources on that continent, and endangering not only the inhabitants of that continent, but the citizens of every nation in the world:

“The Swiss-based conservation group WWF reported Monday that growing populations in many African nations are quickly dwindling the continent’s natural resources.

The warning was part of the group’s flagship report on Africa’s ecological footprint, which provides an estimate of a region’s land and sea surface required each year to meet the consumption demands of its population.

“A growing number of African countries are depleting their natural resources — or will shortly be doing so — faster than they can be replaced,” said Chief Emeka Anyaoku, WWF’s President, as he presented the findings to a conference in Johannesburg.”

Stuff Black People Don’t Like is hard at work on a number of new posts (including two on college football, one on the medical profession, the reality of Denver, going green, reality of global warming, defending the environment and the Chinese takeover of Africa – not to mention the 12 days of Christmas), but we wanted to take the time to get this issue out in the open for discussion (send any links you have on these ideas to stuffblackpeople@gmail.com)

It is important though for all people concerned with the environment to understand that population control is not a fantastical notion discussed by Ted Turner, but a reality that will be upon us whether we like it or not in the next 10-20 years.

And Stuff Black People Don’t Like will once again be on the cutting edge of pointing out these uncomfortable truths.

The former Green Czar of the Obama Administration, Van Jones, found $60 billion dollars of stimulus money appropriated to his formidable, green-friendly hands. Sadly, nothing came of this, because noone really understands what a “green” job is or how to stimulate “green” jobs.

The “green” jobs of the future might include being employed by the government to care for the refugee crisis out of Africa, as millions of Black people are displaced to the United States in a humanitarian emergency that will make the Darfur crisis pale in comparison.

So, for all those white people out there seeing The Blind Side, you just might get your chance soon to have your very own Michael Oher, direct from Africa! The reality of adoption being what it is, a humanitarian crisis in Africa will only lead to mass adoptions of Black people into caring homes in America.

As for us, we’ll keep blessing the rain down in Africa.

A lot of good points from starrynightblogspot.com

What Government Could Do

Last Thursday, December third, President Obama and Vice President Biden met with labor leaders at the White House for a jobs summit aimed at producing ideas to stem increasing unemployment.  Obama claims his programs have saved 1.6 million jobs, not quite the 4 million he promised to create in his first year in office.  Obama’s tone has also changed from the “only government can save the economy” stance of February 9th, to “only business can” on December 3rd.  To this new end, the President invited industry leaders to help craft a new way forward, well almost.  The 130 leaders included Leo Girard, President of the United Steelworkers and other union bosses from SEIU and AFL-CIO, Randi Weingarten, President of the American Federation of Teachers, a number of liberal economists credited with engineering the $787 billion stimulus package, environmental leaders, college professors and other people of like mind allowing critics to blast it as little more than a public relations gala.  Some notables were off the list of invitees including several business leaders and Chamber of Commerce President Thomas Donohue, who addressed his concerns in an open letter to the President.  “The panel does not include free-market voices who will contend the administration is spending too much or interfering too much in the economy, or that it is hurting job creation by increasing the burden of taxes and government debt,” said Josh Barro, a senior fellow on fiscal policy at the conservative-leaning Manhattan Institute. “I expect these economists will generally call for more Keynesian stimulus – more deficit spending and more aid to state governments.”

Mr. Barro was dead on; thus far the suggestions that we have been made aware of include additional stimulus money, federal bailouts of state and municipal governments and school districts, more government money for college education, shifting the focus of the entire economy in a greener direction and punishing businesses who move off-shore with higher taxes.  Surprisingly, even some ardent liberals called for a Payroll Tax holiday for young companies and less government regulation so that new companies could bring their stock to IPO with a little less red-tape.  President Obama has declared the jobs summit a success, but will it be?

If the government is truly interested in better business with greater wealth production, rather than control over all, as a businessman I have a few suggestions.  I offer the following as a non-complainer, but rather in the spirit of improving America.

One:  Good morals = good economies

Two hundred years ago the father of economics, Adam Smith, was asked what makes the economy of a nation great.  Without hesitation, Smith replied, good morals equal good economies.  Surprisingly, his answer did not include industry or export or even natural resources.  He mentioned nothing about government programs or fiscal policy – just morals.

It takes a great deal of moral restraint to realize theft is still theft, even if you steal from the rich for the benefit of the poor and not engage in it.  Socialism and government wealth redistribution schemes are theft, no matter that the government is the perpetrator.  And, let’s get one thing straight, the people who hope to benefit from such theft are, by definition, greedy – not necessarily those who work hard and invest prudently.  These programs neither increase the productivity, thus wealth, of society as a whole, nor do they engender good moral behavior, brotherly love and trust of government to act justly.  A society full of forced givers is not as pleasant as a society full of voluntary givers.

A government that does not restrain itself to the boundaries of its own Constitution is an out-of-control menace.  When tax cheats are promoted to high office and laws that apply to the rest of society have no bearing on Congress, we have tyranny.  When political ends justify any means – when lying is accepted as the norm, when ACORN’s thugs run the polls and Global Warming hoaxes and flawed statistics result in legislation, the economy adjusts to accommodate the instability that follows corrupt governance.  Political instability is perhaps worst of all for the economy.  And, when politicians routinely defame businessmen, who would want to become one or invest in one?  This is the time when we must depend upon each other and our communities, but our communities have been fleeced by an out-of-control federal government that spreads discord, finger-pointing and class-hatred among the masses.

Our leaders have led away from faith and principled living, even attacking men of faith as “the sorts that cling to their guns and their Bibles”.  A moral people do not vote to steal, but our politicians run and win based on promises to do just that.  Soon, the businessman becomes “greedy” for saving his money and investing, rather than altruistically allowing government to seize it for the benefit, all too often, of the inept fool.  A socialist system is always based upon not trusting one another and leads to a society that doesn’t care about one another.  If business leaders can not trust government, there will be no growth; society fills with fools and the able go elsewhere with their time, money and talents.  If we can’t maintain a moral environment, there’s simply no point in doing anything.  The rule-change from moral behavior requires that the good man either adopt the new ways or drop out of society.  When prudence and profit are demonized and foolishness supported, we end up with a country full of fools.  If theft from the rich to support the rest of us is good, why work or invest when government is willing to steal for you?  If government can do it all and they will save us, we need only wait until government prints us a meal.

President Obama, if you want America to recover, encourage her greatest asset, faith and the charity that goes along with it, to grow and become more even important in the lives of her people.  Crises like this one require a rebirth of faith for recovery – not faith in government.  Tone down the hate-speech; it is, indeed, prevalent on your side of the aisle as well.  Limit your governance and uphold the Constitution you swore to defend so that communities can fulfill their own needs.  Do not assume God’s throne for your own.

Two:  Quit scaring the daylights out of business leaders

If the President’s goal is to increase employment small business is his answer, not huge corporations or unions, which produce nothing.  Small business has accounted for 64% of the job creation in the United States during the past 15 years and it usually accounts for even more in tough times.  Yet, where is government support?  It goes to those giant companies too big to fail, borne on the backs of small businesses and for the preservation of their labor unions.  The prudent small-businessman must remain focused on his very survival, not job creation.  Obama’s own language and policies as well as liberal policies of the past have only made this situation worse.  Under Obama and his programs, should they be enacted, the small-businessman is faced with increased energy costs, increased healthcare costs, increased regulation, massively increased taxes on all levels, more-likely unionization of employees, probable inflation and possibly even massive inflation, possibly retroactive tax increases as Bill Clinton had done and the list could continue.  The businessman knows he is the target – just listen to what the politicians, including the President himself, are saying.  Until this situation changes, until government subsides, the wise businessman must prepare to weather the storms that Obama’s policies might cause.  He can not afford to expand his business or take on new employees whose possible unemployment shortly he will be responsible for paying.  Already 5/7 of new businesses fail within the first five years; a miscalculation now could be deadly.  In economics this is known as regime uncertainty.  When the government zigs and zags and threatens property rights, as it does with increased regulation and high taxes, investors tend to back off.

President Obama, if you are serious about creating new jobs, then you must genuinely protect businesses from the risk of government action.  If you want a greener America or universal medicine or more union jobs, there is a cost – it is the jobs themselves.  If you promise to seize and redistribute more of our money, we can’t spend it on our businesses.  Businesses are preparing for just such a money grab, as one prepares for his children’s college tuition payment.  With all due respect Sir, you are not the savior and you do not hold the answer – we do, so stand out of our way.

Three:  Quit vilifying business and businessmen

President Obama, nearly every time I hear you speak, I am left with the impression that businessmen are greedy, inept cheats that foolishly led our nation to the brink of disaster in their insatiable pursuit of money.  If businesses and businessmen are evil, why would or should anyone invest in them?  By contrast, you and members of your government pat yourselves on the back for having saved the nation from this greed-driven monstrosity.  Well, Sir, keep saving it then – you obviously don’t need our help!

A business that finds a way to run more efficiently is neither greedy, nor nasty for “squeezing” more out of its employees.  It is likely doing what needs to be done to survive.  In your opinion, Sir, how is it that a government who’s spending increases 100% in seven years; a government that can’t get the job done with $3.5 trillion, who is “squeezing” businesses and taxpayers like a boa constrictor is more acceptable?  While government accuses business of saving a buck by expecting more out of an employee, government itself is the primary inefficiency that business must find a work-around to overcome.  You might not like this, but the point of business; its sole purpose for existence, is to profit.  There is nothing wrong with this – why does anyone go to work if it isn’t so that they can be enriched with the things that they need and desire?  Those who seek a profit are not greedy for doing so.  What they do with their profit determines whether or not they are greedy.

Government vilification of business is dangerous to business leaders and to the economy.  You have made your distain for us abundantly clear – we know we wear a target on our backs as long as you govern.  Bussing protesters to the houses of AIG executives, Presidential rants and attacks against individual citizens based on their income and congressional enactment of special taxes do not encourage more business.  This is behavior befitting the leaders of a banana republic, not the government of the United States.

Those actions have consequences that reach further into the psyche of the entrepreneur than you seem to appreciate, Sir.  Businesses stand trial in the court of public opinion every day and we are often found guilty before that court because of rhetoric like yours.  Fear of lawsuit and uncertainty of government decision is no great stretch from this place.  This is fear of government and tyranny.  Perhaps, instead of skewering the entire business community for the actions of a few, you might clearly define legal liability limits and reasonable expectations and work to ensure that common sense has a seat at the table.  Business is not guilty just because it seeks a profit or has been vilified otherwise by government.  I know of enterprises right now that will not get up and running because of the legal risk of doing business in the United States; instead they are looking to establish themselves in India.

As an owner of several apartment buildings in Reading, Pennsylvania a number of years ago, I found myself in a position I vowed I would never allow myself to fall into again – one in which government could vilify me.  My experience cost me financially and nearly cost me my life.  It took me longer than eight years to even try to venture into business on my own again.  You see, Reading enacted massive tax increases, water rate-hikes and altogether new taxes almost all simultaneously.  Suddenly faced with property tax bills $7,000.00 higher than anticipated with only a few months to pay, my young business venture had to raise rents.  At the same time, however, the city government and news media began to lambast the landlord as the greed-driven cause of urban blight.  The government essentially made me the front-man for collecting its new and enlarged levies at the same time it made sure that I would be the focus of hatred among the renting masses, rather than the politicians who voted the tax increases or the administrators who couldn’t keep their expenses under control.  While I am now gone, many of the same politicians still have their jobs.  I have now come to realize, this is precisely how the game works on all levels.  Raise the tax on the business, vilify the businessman, get your hacks in the press to unwittingly spread the word and the public will focus their hatred on the businessman when the costs are passed along.  We hear the rhetoric and now know that this is what we must prepare for.

Four:  Quit blaming capitalism – ideology matters now

Greed was to blame.  Capitalism has failed.  More regulation is necessary.  The rich are getting richer – they are to blame.  The rich are hording money, not spending.  Businesses have blindly followed profits.  There need to be more realistic expectations.  Imports are causing jobs to go overseas.  The crisis has been worsened by corporations putting profits ahead of people.  Only the government can get the job done.  Which politician has said these things?  While Obama has, indeed, said them, the answer I am looking for is Franklin Roosevelt.  The point is, here we go again.

If business is to blame, why should any right-thinking person invest in business?  Blaming business will result in a longer, deeper depression.

Instead, for one minute, why don’t we recognize the real causes of this crisis and the role government played in creating those causes so that they can be avoided in the future?  Just as was the case in 1929, the causal role of the Federal Reserve has been completely ignored and the Fed is now coming through as our bright and shining savior.  Blame for crises like the Great Depression and this downturn ought to rest squarely on the shoulders of the Fed.  How would it be possible for business, or anyone, to borrow enough money to push up a bubble, if it weren’t for an organization that exists to pump money into the banking system and make credit more fluid?  The Fed’s tinkering alters the signals of the economy.  When every light is green and there are car accidents at every intersection, it isn’t because drivers suddenly had unrealistic expectations or assumed that they could continue driving without ever encountering a red light.  It certainly would be an oversimplification to say that driving is too risky or claim that more traffic cops could have averted such a disaster.  If we never expose the fallacies and claim government failure we are doomed to less liberty and a repeat of this crisis.

Recognize that government screwed up and more regulation would not have helped.  Just two months before this crisis began, the congressional overseers of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac confidently stated that there was no imminent threat to the two semi-private organizations.  And, again, in August 2008 these same folks vouched for their solvency.  Just six weeks later the two required a $200 billion federal bailout.  More regulation simply would not help when that regulation is aimed at political correctness or too inept to see the impending train-wreck.  All of the regulation of the SEC didn’t stop Bernie Madoff from stealing billions.

Of course, this is not the direction we are headed at all.  The posting immediately prior to this one was a rebuttal of an essay by liberal mathematician Darrell Williams, which appeared in the American Chronicle, comparing capitalism to slavery.

Either you trust freedom or you do not.  The free market is the quintessential bastion of freedom.  How can any other freedom exist if we don’t have individualism and title to property rights?  Our school students need to be accurately taught what these economic concepts mean, not some warped socialist view of capitalism.  Government can not claim to protect freedom by removing it.

Five:  Do not use this crisis as an opportunity to grow government

Consumption does not produce wealth, savings and investment lead to production which does.  Government, none-the-less, has wrongly concluded that there isn’t enough consuming going on out here in the hinterlands so it has injected money into the economy to stimulate spending and proposes to create new programs and entitlements.  While markets are good at figuring out where resources ought to be allocated, since government can not know what the market knows, government, instead, focuses on what it wants.  So, ostensibly, if we follow President Obama’s logic, a lack of spending on healthcare, education and environmental issues has led to a housing crisis???  The reality is, paraphrasing Rahm Emmanuel; the view of those in Washington is that this crisis should not be wasted.  It needs to be used as an opportunity to quickly enact the hard-left agenda of this current government and expand their reach and control.

Government programs and entitlements are already killing us – please don’t create more.  Isn’t it reasonable to assume that anyone considering an investment, particularly a foreigner, would consider the health of our economy as a whole?  Consider the following:

  • Over the past 45 years our dollar has been bleeding value faster than the currencies of other big economies like Japan, Germany and China. This, Sir, is completely due to government policy. Logically, what could business have done to influence the value of the dollar in this direction?
  • With an average inflation rate over that time of 4%, the U.S. has been destroying half the value of her dollar every 18 years. Over the past ten years, Chinese nominal buying power has increased. While our money buys less, theirs buys more. This is exactly what we would expect with good economics.
  • While GDP has increased 2500% in China in that time, it has increased by little more than 300% in the United States. This is not just because our economy was much larger to begin with, but rather because of ongoing inefficiency, the chief source of which is government.
  • Once tax is factored in, an investment in gold, which does nothing but sit there, has done nearly as well as an investment in business in America. And, worse, if dividends weren’t reinvested, gold actually did better! This means that all of the effort of work in the U.S. for more than forty years has been wiped out by the money printer and inefficiency.
  • Our government has promised trillions of dollars in unfunded entitlements, such as Social Security benefits for the masses of retiring baby-boomers and now wants to assume even more responsibility for our welfare? Current models estimate an unfunded cost of $56 trillion for Social Security alone over the next 40 years.
  • Federal government spending has grown 100% since 2002, with no end in sight. The U.S. federal government alone spends more money each year than Germany’s GDP – almost $12,000.00 for every single living American.
  • Annual budget deficits exceed $1 trillion, while public debt exceeds $12 trillion. The Federal government now owes more than the sum total of all the residential mortgages in the U.S. Even if the government were to levy a 100% tax on the profits of the Fortune 500 companies, the 500 largest corporations in America, it would take 150 years to pay off our government’s debt.
  • While the United States has borrowed or out-right printed $10 trillion to stimulate her economy, the Chinese have spent $600 billion to stimulate theirs without borrowing a cent to do it. While much of our stimulus is being spent buying up bad debts and supporting failing businesses, the entire Chinese stimulus has been spent improving infrastructure.
  • This past March, unable to sell more bonds, the United States began monetizing her debt; that is outright printing money. We have now crossed a line beyond which no society in history has ever simply recovered.
  • While the U.S. government is trying to nationalize healthcare and expand entitlements, the Chinese have ended social medicine in favor of market efficiency.
  • The American population is in debt up to its eyeballs – in most years our savings rate is less than 1%, while the Chinese, who earn about 8% as much as their American counterpart, save at a rate in excess of 15%. Strangely enough, the underpaid Chinese have saved enough to lend us $2 trillion!

Which of these places sounds like a more appealing investment opportunity?  As an investment advisor, I would feel that I am doing my clientele a disservice recommending American investment right now, if not committing an act of malfeasance.  These are the reasons why American business finds investment in China so attractive, not because of the opportunities to open a new sweatshop.

Please, people; just ask yourselves why a new car costs more than ten times what it did just forty years ago.  Is it simply because the manufacturers are greedy, or might it have something to do with the twenty-fold increase in the cost of government?  Even if it was the case that business could push price like this, would you really want to invest in an economy that worked like that?

If we continue on this track, we risk economic collapse in such a way as to destroy the wealth invested here in epic proportions.  If this occurs, I believe it could take a generation or longer until anyone will wish to invest here again.  For example, if the Castro brothers were gone from Cuba tomorrow, how soon would you invest your life’s savings there?  Probably, you would wait until all of those who held any influence over Cuban policy were dead and gone before you would do such a thing, lest you lose your investment if the communists gain power again.

Which is more irrationally exuberant – believing that business can succeed and profit or believing that government can give us all we need without any cost to us?  The response to this crisis can not be more government; we can’t afford the one we’ve already got.  If it is necessary for government action to spur on business, then business is better off going somewhere that no such support is needed.  We do not need temporary incentives, additional stimulus spending or anything else.   Programs that are here today and gone tomorrow do nothing for us; we need to know that there will be a stable economy in the future.  And, we need to know that we have a morally conscientious government that will do the right things, even when they are difficult, rather than simply print up a few trillion bucks and use the crisis as an opportunity to seize more control.  We will know our economy is truly on the road to recovery when there need to be no further Jobs Summits.

Six:  Give us the accountable government you promised

We hear that government often needs to make the hard decisions, but this is not what we are actually seeing.  The budget is the primary area of accountability.  While business must remain constrained to realistic budgets government does not.  If we have a shortfall, it comes out of our own wallet and off our dinner table; however, whenever government has a shortfall, they come to us.  One of the recommendations coming out of the jobs summit is that the Federal government ought to bail out state and municipal entities and even school districts that are in trouble.  This, Sir, would be exactly the opposite of accountability.  Bankrupt government entities must be left to fail and those responsible for the disastrous policies need to be ousted from office, if not prosecuted for their malfeasance.  Federal support only keeps the incompetent people that made the wrong decisions ensconced in office.  Municipalities on the brink of financial collapse need to get real not bailed out.  If a bailout is available, then whoever has remained within their budget becomes a fool.  We would have all been better off to vote for those who would spend us into oblivion.

Let all who govern know they do so in our name and we are awake and watching.  We intend to hold them accountable for the direction they lead us now.  We ought to prosecute those in government who overstep our Constitution and usurp power, or destroy our economy or intentionally promote fraudulent statistics or research into expensive legislation, and those who vote for bills they have not read.  If we could not do so in our own government’s court system and get a reasonable trial – it is plainly time for revolution.  This healing needs to occur before we have a country safe for investment and business.

Seven:  Let bad businesses fail

Economic downturns are not the problem; they are the cure for the problem.  If we let them run their course, we quickly establish the bottom of the market.  From there we can confidently build and move forward, knowing that the economic minefield is behind us.  Bailouts and stimulus packages hide the true terrain and make moving forward risky.  Considering businessmen currently stand accused of taking too many risks, how can anyone expect us to move forward now?

It really isn’t that businesses are too big to fail, but rather that certain people and ideas are to politically important to allow reality to affect.  By supporting GM and businesses like it the government restricts natural recovery from this crisis.  Had GM gone through traditional bankruptcy, her assets would have been bought up by a new group of investors.  Likely her employees would still have a job, but probably under a new contract.  Government money allows the flawed business model to continue and the union to continue exerting its unrealistic expectations on the company which will likely only recover if it can find foreign employees to work for less to pay legacy costs back to retired American union-men.

This brings me to another area of issue.  You folks in government keep saying how business goes overseas to exploit cheaper foreign workers, but are you aware of how much of the production of these workers is used to pay union benefits of long-retired American workers?  But, this is okay as long as it isn’t profit to the company though, right?

Economist Peter Schiff has the best analogy for the bailout:  If I operate a restaurant that is eking by and, while the circus is in town, borrow $1 million to expand so that I do not need to turn away the many new customers that come with the nearby circus, shall I be bailed out when the circus moves on and my debt becomes unaffordable?  If bailouts are good, the productive businesses around me would be taxed for my misjudgment.  While the local carpenter is paying more and building less or the local factory is paying more and now looking to relocate out of town, all of the things that would function in the natural economy to eventually expand my client-base are being set-back.  Instead, those that invested in my restaurant need to take the loss.  Perhaps my creditors need to renegotiate our loan or the restaurant needs to go on the auction block so that my creditors can recover what they can – they should not otherwise be bailed out either.  If the restaurant is sold at auction, the new buyer will get a good deal – he’ll be able to buy the restaurant, addition and all, for less than it cost to build.  This is a good thing – it will enable the restaurant to become profitable again.  This is precisely what the bailouts have prevented.

Eight:  Lower the cost of government and lower taxes

While businessmen are constantly portrayed as exploiters of their employees, government’s profit from my operation is greater than mine.  In order for one of my employees to collect $20,000.00 in net wages, I must send more than $10,000.00 away in taxes.  Among these is the biggest lie of all time – my half of the Payroll Tax.  Does anyone really believe I would hire an employee or be paying any of these taxes if the person I hired wasn’t generating enough income to cover them?  Until all is said and done, an employee who generates business income nets me a “profit” of about 10% of that income.  While I do collect this as personal income, my company, which is my money, is liable for any errors that employee might make.  I am responsible to supervise that employee and it takes some of my time to oversee his portion of our operation.  What does the government do for its 40%?  Yet, if an employee is unhappy with his paycheck, who do you suppose he comes to see?  I would thank you to quit referring to me as an exploiter and to capitalism as desirous of slavery.  In fact, I think it is time that government admit that it is the primary reason why employees can not be paid more and why American business goes off-shore.

As private citizens, whether we know it or not, we each pay more in tax than we do for food, clothing and housing combined!  Perhaps the “poor” believe that they benefit from this system, but they most assuredly do not.  They pay their share like the rest of us.  Hidden in the costs of everything they buy are the taxes collected from the one who sells.  You bet, the poor are hit hardest, but it isn’t business that’s screwing them, Sir, it is government.  Government at all levels, Federal, State, County, Municipal and School District, for my municipality costs about $23,000.00 annually for every soul from the smallest child to the oldest man.  Two things about this come to mind:  First, to my fellow citizens, if you aren’t paying this much per person for your family, quit griping that tax cuts for anyone else are unfair; the rest of us are carrying you already – the appropriate response would be, “thank you”!  And, honestly, we ought to decide whether or not you are entitled to more of what we produce, not you or government.  Second, to government, how dare you demonize the productive that pay these taxes – you, Sirs, are the problem, not us!

If the President’s math is correct, this ought to have been enough to create 90 million new jobs in America over the past 40 years – far more if you take inflation and compounding into account.  I am simply not seeing how the government plans to spend us into prosperity here.

It is time to get control and scale back government to reasonable levels, not expand government into new areas.  We don’t need any more short-term stimulus packages.  No more gimmicky programs to churn the economy and encourage people to spend money they ought to save or buy things they otherwise could not.  No more cash for clunkers or closing cost write-offs for housing.  All these things do is concentrate economic activity while the program exists.  When the program ends, the market falls back through the floor.

Instead, streamline the tax code and steadily cut taxes for all.  Work on eliminating government programs, not creating new ones.  There is practically nothing government does that it does with the efficiency of the private sector anyway.  For my fellow citizen, your question ought to be what has already happened to the cost of medicine or education that has placed it so far out of reach that pay-as-you-go seems so impossible.  Really, if “fair” tax would be a goal, I ought to pay my employees and you ought to collect their taxes directly from them so that they can see what they are really paying.  In fact, taxes ought to be levied only on individuals so that they can know exactly what they are paying; not embedded in my costs and hidden in the expenses of day-to-day life where government gets a pass and the businessman takes the wrap for your out-of-control spending.  I would further suggest that taxes ought to be due on October 31st, just in time for Election Day, so we can make a more informed decision about the job you are doing and assess whether or not we want government to expand.  And, above all, quit borrowing and printing more money in our names!  If those in government truly believe they are able to save lives with the money they spend, then they ought to act like it and safeguard and preserve that money – not spend it like a bunch of drunken sailors.

Nine:  Quit destroying the economy with flawed ideologies and controls

Recognize Marxism and Keynesian economics as disastrously flawed – shake the Marxists and Keynesians out of government.  With all of their mathematical wizardry, the Keynesians faired no better – their models have completely failed.  Even if President Obama would quit vilifying business and stand down on many of his other issues, the entire government has become polarized with like-minded people who all adhere to the same flawed economics models that got us here.  Unless these folks are swept aside, or at least some balance is introduced in a meaningful way, there can be no lasting change.  What is the point in working hard, saving or investing if the wag of a politician’s pen at any point in the future can take it all away?

Let the market handle the economy, it does not need the help of government.  Allow the natural signage of the market to work by:

  • Working to end the inefficiency of moral hazard in our economy and allow price to do its job wherever possible.
  • Hardening the dollar – just because you can print them doesn’t mean you should.
  • Ending the fraud and fallacy that is the Federal Reserve.
  • Ending open market operations and tinkering and fine-tuning. The government tinkers and fine-tunes, but it is always and only the fault of business when things go wrong.
  • Ending dollar supremacy and not establishing a new world currency. This would make it possible to then eliminate trade barriers, which widens the market and increases wealth everywhere. This would also help keep domestic companies in America, assuming that other restrictions on business were no more arduous than those in other countries.
  • Letting the market value assets – no more bailouts to prop up stupidity.

Additionally, quit artificially inflating the stock market with phony money and taking credit for economic corrections that have not naturally occurred.  If I am correct, we are simply building another asset bubble.  How could it be any other way; companies that are doing less business now than a year ago have higher stock values today than they did then?  A high stock market is not necessary or even desirable right now.  Look, whenever times are tough we expect the price of things otherwise to fall to an attractive level.  When the government is driving support under the market, the price rises at a time when it ought to remain low.  Who would be buying a car right now if the price went up 60% since March?  Slow, steady and certain recovery is what we need, not sudden massive movements up that probably are unsustainable anyway.  What you are doing now will draw investors back into the market only for the next step down destroying more wealth.  And, you are only doing it for the political show of it – quit it!  Instead, make the necessary changes in government that will allow for a natural recovery – if you did, America could unquestionably be the dominant economy in the world for the foreseeable future.  If you continue on the current track, we will be a third-world country in a generation.  Government does not need to talk the market up – we’ll know when real recovery has begun because we’ll see it on Main Street and in the malls.  Again, there would be no need for a jobs summit if we were truly there.

Use accurate info to determine whether or not the recession has ended.  Although wages have not gone up, profit has in the short-term due to the massive market bounce-back.  Adding this profit in to calculate a higher GDP, and thus proclaim the recession past, might have become standard procedure for the government, but it is much different that using an actual increase in wages to determine the end of the recession.

Ten:  Quit special tax treatments – give everyone invested in anything the same treatment

Treat all forms of investment the same for taxes.  Special tax treatment for real estate undoubtedly drove up a speculative bubble.  Is it the fault of the investor that he takes advantage of a tax loophole, or is that possibly party the responsibility of the folks that write the tax code?  I am certainly not claiming there ought to be taxes on home-sales, but rather there ought not to be taxes on other sorts of investments either.  Simply put, I ought to be able to invest my retirement money into my own business.  All investment funds ought to receive the same tax treatment as the IRA.  This would also end the notion that government ought to be able to determine which businesses are safe enough to invest in or are too risky.  What would it matter – if government wasn’t collecting a gains tax there wouldn’t be lowered gains, or losses, when businesses underperform or fail.

Eleven:  Get the government out of the way and out of my business

At some point, with enough regulation or high enough taxes, the business is more government than me.  There simply isn’t a point to doing more than the average 9-5er.  I could make my business truly exceptional, but frankly, I wonder if it’s worth the effort or the headaches for the privilege of paying higher taxes and being demonized.  It is time to acknowledge that government does not deliver – business does.  Government produces nothing but fear and red-tape; inhibitors of business.  Government, at best, is a necessary evil and an economic boondoggle.  Government’s socialist schemes can only redistribute what the producers produce.  We all end up poorer with larger government, not better off.

Jefferson once said, “That government is best which governs least”.  Jefferson realized that government does best to stand out of the way.  It exists to justly uphold law and order, not redefine justice from equality under the law to attempted social equality.  This is a bastardization of God’s justice and intended purpose for government.

Twelve:  Quit lowering expectations

There is simply no reason to believe that we are or were living “too high on the hog” unless it is the intention of the government that we will become less productive.  No one lives in a house that isn’t already built, drives a car that hasn’t been manufactured or eats food that hasn’t been grown.  There is no reason to believe that America’s brightest days are behind us, unless your government intends to make it so – slowing business and progress in the name of environmental protection or enlarging government to unmanageable size.  Although, lowered expectations will become the American norm if we shut down business under the weight of massive new government programs.

Lastly, listen to guys like me rather than just scoff and call us nuts – we are the ones producing; we know what it takes.  You might also consider following my blog.

Letter to a liberal dumb shit!

Letter to a liberal dumb shit!

Yes this once great nation is in decline, far to long we have elected democraps and their republicat brothers, the time has come for a third party.  Elites which control this nation must be slaughtered, through a new American revolution, and the anti-white alliance must be dismembered and returned to their homelands from which they came.  There are only one American people, we have one language, one culture, one history, one nation in which we call home.  Everyone who has entered our home over the last 40 years must go home, so we can rebuild.   CAN ANYONE HONESTLY SAY THAT DIVERSITY, MULTICULTURALISM, AND LEGAL/ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION HAS IMPROVED OUR NATION?  I swear to this, that it has not, it has destroyed our inner cities, violent gangs continue to spread across the land, drug use for all is negative properties acceptable in California.  Is it a coincidence that every single democrat controlled city and state, has seen massive deficits, higher unemployment, and crushing taxes? Liberal immigration policies, policing policies, courts, education, and state/federal laws are destroying this nation.  No one trusts anyone anymore, the liberal media continues to hammer its anti-white agenda, and our so called federal government can’t wait to tax the shit out of us, stealing every drop of blood they can.  Enough is enough, this crap has got to end. No more democrats, or republicans, we need a party that cares about the core people of this nation, the people who maintain this nation, the people who built this nation, WE are not a walmart for all to shop and come and go as you please, we are not a job fair for the 3rd world, and we will no longer stand for it!  I call on all true Americans to take up arms, and be ready, when the nation hits the wall, they will come for us, and they will kill many of us, but we will be victorious.  From the streets of L.A. to the barrios of New York, and the deserts of the southwest, I will see you on the battlefield.

Liberals did away with the lending laws that allowed your pets to buy homes they could not afford, a home is not a right, having a job is not a right, happiness is not a right!  Life, liberty, and property these are what Jefferson preached. You will soon find our that we Western White Males will not go silently into the night!

When you take the jobs away from the factory workers and export them, then start chipping away at other businesses and start taking those jobs away, this is what happens. America used to be self-supporting. Now we have to rely on others for our goods. Corporate greed has caused this and the government allowed it to happen by supporting NAFTA. It’s only going to get worse. I know several that aren’t reflected in the unemployment percentile anymore because they have exhausted their benefits but they still don’t have a job. They can get a little help with food stamps but that is about the extent of what they receive. I also know some that won’t ask for assistance. They have lost everything, lots have even lost faith in themselves. Once that is gone, people get desperate.

WE HAVE too many people in this nation who should not be here and only want to leech of the white middle working class, need I say more!

Liberal democraps are dragging us into the 3rd world sewer while they think they are above it. I can’t wait to see them hanging by their heals like Benito Mussolini

Do some homework, the free-enterprise gave us the automobile, the computer, the cell phone and so much more, its the socialist Utopian central planners that have steered this nation down the well.  Your kind took over my nation with the 1960′s revolution, now we will take it back, and cut you where you stand without hesitation, i will end your kind!!!!!

Geoffrey Miller: “The Looming Crisis in Human Genetics”

Geoffrey Miller: “The Looming Crisis in Human Genetics”

From The Economist:

The looming crisis in human genetics:
Some awkward news ahead
by Geoffrey Miller
Author of Spent

Human geneticists have reached a private crisis of conscience, and it will become public knowledge in 2010. The crisis has depressing health implications and alarming political ones. In a nutshell: the new genetics will reveal much less than hoped about how to cure disease, and much more than feared about human evolution and inequality, including genetic differences between classes, ethnicities and races.

About five years ago, genetics researchers became excited about new methods for “genome-wide association studies” (GWAS). We already knew from twin, family and adoption studies that all human traits are heritable: genetic differences explain much of the variation between individuals. We knew the genes were there; we just had to find them….

In 2010, GWAS fever will reach its peak. Dozens of papers will report specific genes associated with almost every imaginable trait—intelligence, personality, religiosity, sexuality, longevity, economic risk-taking, consumer preferences, leisure interests and political attitudes. The data are already collected, with DNA samples from large populations already measured for these traits. It’s just a matter of doing the statistics and writing up the papers for Nature Genetics. …

GWAS researchers will, in public, continue trumpeting their successes to science journalists and Science magazine. They will reassure Big Pharma and the grant agencies that GWAS will identify the genes that explain most of the variation in heart disease, cancer, obesity, depression, schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s and ageing itself. …

In private, though, the more thoughtful GWAS researchers are troubled. They hold small, discreet conferences on the “missing heritability” problem: if all these human traits are heritable, why are GWAS studies failing so often? …But the genes typically do not replicate across studies. Even when they do replicate, they never explain more than a tiny fraction of any interesting trait. In fact, classical Mendelian genetics based on family studies has identified far more disease-risk genes with larger effects than GWAS research has so far.

Why the failure? The missing heritability may reflect limitations of DNA-chip design: GWAS methods so far focus on relatively common genetic variants in regions of DNA that code for proteins. They under-sample rare variants and DNA regions translated into non-coding RNA, which seems to orchestrate most organic development in vertebrates. Or it may be that thousands of small mutations disrupt body and brain in different ways in different populations. At worst, each human trait may depend on hundreds of thousands of genetic variants that add up through gene-expression patterns of mind-numbing complexity.

Political science

We will know much more when it becomes possible to do cheap “resequencing”—which is really just “sequencing” a wider variety of individuals beyond the handful analysed for the Human Genome Project. Full sequencing means analysing all 3 billion base pairs of an individual’s DNA rather than just a sample of 1m genetic variants as the DNA chips do. When sequencing costs drop within a few years below $1,000 per genome, researchers in Europe, China and India will start huge projects with vast sample sizes, sophisticated bioinformatics, diverse trait measures and detailed family structures. (American bioscience will prove too politically squeamish to fund such studies.) The missing heritability problem will surely be solved sooner or later.

Or will it? At present, we understand the genetics of lactose tolerance fairly well because they are simple. We don’t understand the genetics of IQ at all well, presumably because they are complicated. It would be interesting to know what are traits are the most promising targets intermediate in complexity between lactose tolerance and IQ.

The trouble is, the resequencing data will reveal much more about human evolutionary history and ethnic differences than they will about disease genes.

As Matt Ridley once said, your genes didn’t evolve to kill you.

Once enough DNA is analysed around the world, science will have a panoramic view of human genetic variation across races, ethnicities and regions. We will start reconstructing a detailed family tree that links all living humans, discovering many surprises about mis-attributed paternity and covert mating between classes, castes, regions and ethnicities.

We will also identify the many genes that create physical and mental differences across populations, and we will be able to estimate when those genes arose. Some of those differences probably occurred very recently, within recorded history. Gregory Cochran and Henry Harpending argued in “The 10,000 Year Explosion” that some human groups experienced a vastly accelerated rate of evolutionary change within the past few thousand years, benefiting from the new genetic diversity created within far larger populations, and in response to the new survival, social and reproductive challenges of agriculture, cities, divisions of labour and social classes. Others did not experience these changes until the past few hundred years when they were subject to contact, colonisation and, all too often, extermination.

If the shift from GWAS to sequencing studies finds evidence of such politically awkward and morally perplexing facts, we can expect the usual range of ideological reactions, including nationalistic retro-racism from conservatives and outraged denial from blank-slate liberals. The few who really understand the genetics will gain a more enlightened, live-and-let-live recognition of the biodiversity within our extraordinary species—including a clearer view of likely comparative advantages between the world’s different economies.

More likely, we just won’t hear much about it. For years, I’ve been hearing that as the evidence piles up, the dominant ideology will have to adapt to it. Why? Why not just lie more and persecute more? A lot of people find covering up the truth to be more emotionally satisfying than learning it.

Regional SuperCities- Blacks say, once your major is black you can never go back!

Regional SuperCities

Reporters have a lot of leeway in how to spin a story by what quote they put at the end, unanswered. For example, the Washington Post’s article on white politician Mary Norwood’s bid to become the first non-black mayor of Atlanta in 36 years ends with an unanswered (and thus tacitly approved) expression of pure racial animus:

“Atlanta is a black city, a symbol to the world,” Houck said. “Putting Mary’s face on that picture would be hard for a lot of people to stomach.”

In other words, according to the Washington Post it’s A-OK for blacks to vote in Tuesday’s mayoral election purely on anti-white grounds.

One interesting point in the article:

Atlanta, with a population of about 500,000, saw its black population share decline from 61 percent to 57 percent between 2000 and 2007, according to the latest Census figures. During the same time period, the white population grew from 33 percent to 38 percent.

This reflects a trend I’ve noticed in competition to be the regional supercity, the acid test of which is attracting a larger white population. For example, Washington D.C. is increasingly white, with African-Americans driven out to loser cities like Baltimore. New York, the supercity of supercities, has had a declining population of American-born blacks since way back in 1979. In our increasingly winner-take-all world, you can expect certain cities in each part of the country to emerge as the winner with rising rents. They will use Section 8 rental vouchers to drive out African-Americans to surrounding loser cities, increasing the disparity between winners and losers.

This makes municipal politics particularly fraught, since victory in a mayoral race (e.g., Rudy Giuliani’s victory over David Dinkins in 1993, or Richie Daley’s over black candidates in 1989) is often seen as a symbol of whether the city will be friendlier to whites (and become a winner city) or blacks (and become a loser city). Much of intra-black politics consists of struggles between blacks who are willing to make deals with high rent whites versus low rent candidates (e.g., Washington D.C., where the federal government more or less staged a coup to regain control of the capital by arresting the very low-rent black Mayor Marion Barry).

Another Diversity crisis – If the future of entertainment is interactive media, some minorities are still headed back to the past.

Another Diversity crisis

From Science Daily:

If the future of entertainment is interactive media, some minorities are still headed back to the past.

The first comprehensive survey of video game characters, encompassing the top 150 games in a year across nine platforms and all rating levels, and weighted by each title’s popularity, shows that the video game industry does no better than television in representing American society.

In some cases, video games do worse, said study leader Dmitri Williams, a social psychologist and assistant professor at the USC Annenberg School for Communication.

In his study, Williams cited research showing Latinos are making modest gains on television.

They are? Who knew?

Are there any Hispanic stars on HBO, the most prestigious network? I can’t afford HBO, so I don’t know. There sure aren’t many on Mad Men. There are various Hispanic maids and repairmen on Curb Your Enthusiasm, with whom Larry David interacts awkwardly, but I can’t remember Larry meeting any Latinos of his own class.

By contrast, fewer than 3 percent of video game characters were recognizably Hispanic, and all of them were non-playable, background characters. …

“Latino children play more video games than white children. And they’re really not able to play themselves,” Williams said. “For identity formation, that’s a problem. And for generating interest in technology, it may place underrepresented groups behind the curve.

“Ironically, they may even be less likely to become game makers themselves, helping to perpetuate the cycle. Many have suggested that games function as crucial gatekeepers for interest in science, technology, engineering and math.”

Women, Native Americans, children and the elderly also were underrepresented. For example, only 10 percent of playable characters surveyed were female, though women now make up 40 percent of video game players.

African-Americans appeared in proportion to their numbers in the real world, but mainly in sports games and in titles that reinforce stereotypes, such as 50 Cent Bulletproof.

Males, whites and adults were overrepresented.

Williams noted that some newer games give players more options for customizing their characters. Those games were included in the survey, with characters chosen randomly.

The fact that random selection did not have a major impact on the results suggests that when players have a choice, their range of options is limited.

The study itself was limited in two important ways. Many games feature non-human characters, and many are first-person games where the player never sees himself or herself. The study only included visible characters that were clearly human.

Ahhhooogggaaa! WaPo discovers a “second” generation of Latinos, Tiger Woods accused of being a racist hound, Sen. Boxer: “You call it ‘Climategate’; I call it ‘E-mail-theft-gate’”

Ahhhooogggaaa! WaPo discovers a “second” generation of Latinos

The Washington Post breaks the astonishing news that there’s actually a second generation of Latinos in the United States. Who could possibly have known that not all Mexican-Americans are immigrants? Nobody in Washington — or in New York, for that matter — ever noticed any Mexicans around before a few years ago. How could we in the East Coast media centers have foreseen that they would reproduce?

And just think, that implies that there will someday be a third generation of Latinos!

And, it turns out, that this second generation of Mexicans isn’t doing all that well. Who could have possibly predicted that? Doesn’t it say on the Statue of Liberty that all immigrants will rapidly join the middle class?

Struggles of the second generation
U.S.-born children of Latino immigrants fight to secure a higher foothold
By N.C. Aizenman
Javier Saavedra slumped his burly frame into a worn, plaid couch in the cramped basement room he shares with his girlfriend and their 2-year-old daughter, his expression darkening as he ticked off all the wrong turns that had gotten them stuck below the economy’s ground floor.

Raised by Mexican immigrant parents, Saavedra was a gang member by 13, a high school dropout by 16 and a father by 21. Now 23, he has been trying to turn his life around since his daughter, Julissa, was born.

But without a high school diploma, Saavedra was unable to find a job that paid enough for him and his girlfriend, Mayra Hererra, 20 and pregnant with their second child, to move out of her parents’ brick home in Hyattsville.

Even the dim, wood-paneled room piled with baby toys and large plastic bags of clothing was costing them $350 a month.

“I get so upset with myself,” Saavedra said. “I should have a better chance at a job [than our parents]. I want to be helping them with their bills, not them still helping me.”

Millions of children of Latino immigrants are confronting the same challenge as they come of age in one of the most difficult economic climates in decades.

Whether they succeed will have consequences far beyond immigrant circles. As a result of the arrival of more than 20 million mostly Mexican and Central American newcomers in a wave that swelled in the 1970s and soared during the 1990s, the offspring of Latino immigrants now account for one of every 10 children, both in the United States and the Washington region.

Largely because of the growth of this second generation, Latino immigrants and their U.S.-born children and grandchildren will represent almost a third of the nation’s working-age adults by mid-century, according to projections from U.S. Census Bureau data by Jeffrey S. Passel, a demographer with the nonpartisan Pew Hispanic Center in Washington.

Not since the last great wave of immigration to the United States around 1900 has the country’s economic future been so closely entwined with the generational progress of an immigrant group. And so far, on nearly every measure, the news is troubling.

Second-generation Latinos have the highest high school dropout rate — one in seven [sic] — of any U.S.-born racial or ethnic group and the highest teen pregnancy rate. These Latinos also receive far fewer college degrees and make significantly less money than non-Hispanic whites and other second-generation immigrants.

I realize that nobody in the East ever heard of Mexican-Americans before recently, but there are actually more than two generations in the U.S.

The UCLA sociology department tracked first through fifth generation Mexican-Americans, parents, children, and grandchildren in LA and San Antonio from 1965 through 2000. Edward E. Telles and Vilma Ortiz reported on the results in their 2008 book Generations of Exclusion: Mexican Americans, Assimilation, and Race. They found that education progress stopped with the second generation, and that the fourth generation (whose grandparents were born in America) was particularly unaccomplished:

“Sadly and directly in contradistinction to assimilation theory, the fourth generation differs the most from whites, with a college completion rate of only 6 percent [compared to 35 percent for whites of that era].”

Tiger Woods accused of being a racist hound

From the AP:

Tiger’s troubles widen his distance from blacks
By JESSE WASHINGTON

Amid all the headlines generated by Tiger Woods’ troubles – the puzzling car accident, the suggestions of marital turmoil and multiple mistresses – little attention has been given to the race of the women linked with the world’s greatest golfer.

Except in the black community.

When three white women were said to be romantically involved with Woods in addition to his blonde, Swedish wife, blogs, airwaves and barbershops started humming, and Woods’ already tenuous standing among many blacks took a beating.

… “The question everyone in America wants to ask you is, how many white women does one brother waaant?”As one blogger, Robert Paul Reyes, wrote: “If Tiger Woods had cheated on his gorgeous white wife with black women, the golfing great’s accident would have been barely a blip in the [black] blogosphere.”

The darts reflect blacks’ resistance to interracial romance. They also are a reflection of discomfort with a man who has smashed barriers in one of America’s whitest sports and assumed the mantle of the world’s most famous athlete, once worn by Muhammad Ali and Michael Jordan.

But Woods has declined to identify himself as black, and famously chose the term “Cablinasian” (Caucasian, black, Indian and Asian) to describe the racial mixture he inherited from his African-American father and Thai mother.

It’s more accurate to say that Tiger has declined to identify himself as solely black, in the way that Barack Obama has.

Keep in mind that both of Tiger’s parents were highly mixed too. Both were 1/4th Chinese, for example. His father was also 1/4th American Indian while his mother was 1/4th European.

This vexed some blacks, but it hasn’t stopped them from claiming Woods as one of their own. Or from disapproving of his marriage to Elin Nordegren, despite blacks’ historical fight against white racist opponents of mixed marriage.

On the one hand, Ebonie Johnson Cooper doesn’t care that Tiger Woods’ wife and alleged mistresses are white because Woods is “quote-unquote not really black.”

“But at the same time we still see him as a black man with a white woman, and it makes a difference,” said Johnson Cooper, a 26-year-old African-American from New York City. “There’s just this preservation thing we have among one another. We like to see each other with each other.”

Black women have long felt slighted by the tendency of famous black men to pair with white women, and many have a list of current transgressors at the ready.

“We’ve discussed this for years among black women,” said Denene Millner, author of several books on black relationships. “Why is it when they get to this level … they tend to go directly for the nearest blonde?”

This tendency may be more prominent due to a relative lack of interracial marriages among average blacks. Although a recent Pew poll showed that 94 percent of blacks say it’s all right for blacks and whites to date, a study published this year in Sociological Quarterly showed that blacks are less likely to actually date outside their race than are other groups.

“There is a call for loyalty that is stronger in some ways than in other racial communities,” said the author of the study, George Yancey, a sociology professor at the University of North Texas and author of the book “Just Don’t Marry One.”

The color of one’s companion has long been a major measure of “blackness” – which is a big reason why the biracial Barack Obama was able to fend off early questions about his black authenticity.

“Had Barack had a white wife, I would have thought twice about voting for him,” Johnson Cooper said.

So do Woods’ women say something about the intensely private golfer’s views on race?

“I would like to say no, but I think it garners a bit of a yes,” Johnson Cooper said.

Carmen Van Kerckhove, founder of the race-meets-pop-culture blog Racialicious, said there have been frequent discussions on her site about the fine line between preference and fetish.

“Is there any difference between a white guy with a thing for blondes, and a non-white guy with a thing for blondes?” asked Van Kerckhove, who has a Chinese mother, a Belgian father and a husband born in America to parents from Benin.

She claims that Asians don’t fully embrace Woods, either.

“There are two layers of suspicion toward him,” Van Kerkhove said. “One toward the apparent pattern in the race of his partners, and the second in the way he sees himself. … People have been giving him the side-eye for a while.”

There’s nothing wrong with wanting a mate who shares your culture, as long as it’s for the right reasons, the comedienne Sheryl Underwood said after unleashing a withering Woods monologue on Tom Joyner’s radio show.

“Would we question when a Jewish person wants to marry other Jewish people?” she said in an interview. “It’s not racist. It’s not bigotry. It’s cultural pride.”

“The issue comes in when you choose something white because you think it’s better,” Underwood said. “And then you never date a black woman or a woman of color or you never sample the greatness of the international buffet of human beings. If you never do that, we got a problem.”

So, the complaint here is that there are no allegations as of yet that Tiger has cheated on his wife with a black or Asian or, presumably, an American Indian, Samoan, or pygmy negrito woman. I don’t know, but considering how fast allegations are pouring in, that may just be a problem that takes care of itself.

Sen. Boxer: “You call it ‘Climategate’; I call it ‘E-mail-theft-gate’”

The Hill reports:

Leaked e-mails allegedly undermining climate change science should be treated as a criminal matter, Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) said Wednesday afternoon.

Boxer, the top Democrat on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, said that the recently released e-mails, showing scientists allegedly overstating the case for climate change, should be treated as a crime.

“You call it ‘Climategate’; I call it ‘E-mail-theft-gate,’” she said during a committee meeting. “Whatever it is, the main issue is, Are we facing global warming or are we not? I’m looking at these e-mails, that, even though they were stolen, are now out in the public.”

The e-mails, from scientists at the University of East Anglia, were obtained through hacking. The messages showed the director of the university’s Climate Research Unit discussing ways to strengthen the unit’s case for global warming. Climate change skeptics have seized on the e-mails, arguing that they demonstrate manipulation in environmental science.

Boxer said her committee may hold hearings into the matter as its top Republican, Sen. James Inhofe (Okla.), has asked for, but that a criminal probe would be part of any such hearings.

“We may well have a hearing on this, we may not. We may have a briefing for senators, we may not,” Boxer said. “Part of our looking at this will be looking at a criminal activity which could have well been coordinated.

“This is a crime,” Boxer said.

I was under the impression that East Anglia is in the United Kingdom, not the United States, which would suggest that any criminal probe would be up to British authorities, not U.S. Senators, but what do I know compared to Senator Boxer?

Does anybody know who hacked and/or leaked the emails?

British libertarian activist Sean Gabb tosses out a fun conspiracy theory: Vladimir Putin dunnit.

But the Russians had means and opportunity to do the job. Perhaps their security services are no longer as efficient and as well-funded as in Soviet times. But they are still there. Their mission is no longer to win the Cold War. But making life easier for Mr Putin and his friends is a large mission in itself. They no longer have an active network in British universities. But there must be any number of senior managers there whose activities back in the 1980s would merit an outing in The Daily Mail, and who therefore are open to blackmail.

And the Russians had the best motive imaginable. Anthropogenic global warming is, as said, a pack of lies. But there is huge money behind it. And it is conceivable that Western scientific ingenuity will find a “carbon free” energy source that both works and is economically viable. Now, where would that leave Russia? Without its exports of oil and gas, the place is little more than a bankrupt post-Soviet slagheap.

I can top that conspiracy theory! If I were Putin, I would want to discredit Global Warming theorists in order to make Global Warming more likely. It’s too damn cold in Russia right now.

What a hero Putin would become to Russians of the future! Grateful Russians would annually celebrate the anniversary of his ascent to power on December 31, 1999 by, say, holding a huge beach volleyball tournament in Murmansk.

It would be like Lex Luthor’s plan in Superman to own all the beachfront property in Nevada by having California fall into the ocean. Russia has 38,000 kilometers of coastline, much of it on the Arctic Ocean, which would become the new Russian Riviera.

More from stuff Black people don’t like!

#41. The Greatest Generation

(While you read this, listen to this song)

December 7, 1941 – a date that will live in infamy…,” so said Franklin Roosevelt 68 years ago today, in the wake of the horrific surprise attack by the Empire of Japan on US Naval forces based in Hawaii:

“The attack sank four U.S. Navy battleships (two of which were raised and returned to service later in the war) and damaged four more. The Japanese also sank or damaged three cruisers, three destroyers, and one minelayer, destroyed 188 aircraft, and caused personnel losses of 2,402 killed and 1,282 wounded.”

This attack by Japan awoke the so-called “sleeping giant” and forced the United States to declare war upon them (and eventually Germany and Italy) and enter World War II against the Axis Powers.

Have you seen the 2001 movie Pearl Harbor? Dorie Miller had his story immortalized in Michael Bay’s movie, as Cuba Gooding Jr., played the real-life Casey Ryback/ John Rambo killer combo, wielding a machine gun and blasting away the Japanese.

As the Michael Bay movie shows, had this Black seamen not engaged the enemy, World War II would have been lost from the start.

After this attack, a formerly isolationist nation would mobilize quickly and put forth one of the most impressive fighting forces the world has ever seen, in an effort to subdue the Japanese and the threat of Fascism in Europe for good.

Answering the call of Uncle Sam were millions upon millions of Americans, as the nation of 130 million would see almost 11 percent of its population engaging the enemy in war.

It is important to remember that the United States in 1940 was a completely different nation than we are today. The nation was comprised of almost 90 percent white people, with Black people comprising roughly nine percent.

The United States had a segregated military up until 1948:

“African Americans have served in the U.S. military since the days of George Washington, but it took until July 26, 1948, for the country to begin living up the democratic ideals that they fought to defend.

As World War II approached, the United States found itself opposed to fascist regimes and their racist ideologies, yet it had to reckon with the hard reality that many of its own 12.6 million African-American citizens — about 10 percent of the population at the time — were denied basic civil rights and human opportunities. The bitter irony that President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s “Four Freedoms” (freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want and freedom from fear) set forth as U.S. war aims were largely unavailable to African Americans did not stop 2.5 million black men from registering for the military draft. More than 1 million eventually served in all branches of the armed forces during World War II. In addition, thousands of African-American women volunteered as combat nurses.”

Why point this out? Well, to put it mildly, Black people didn’t have that much of a role in World War II and the defeat of the Axis Powers. An interesting United States government Defense website completely glosses over Black involvement in World War Two, save for the aforementioned Dorie Miller and the vaunted Tuskegee Airmen.

What Black people actually did in World War II is quite interesting, as the United States government decided to keep most of the Black soldiers away from the conflict (and thus, incapable of duplicating Miller’s Pearl Harbor exploits):

1944
By this time, the War Department’s critical need for troops overseas helped to ease opposition to the dispatch of black servicemen to the European or Pacific theaters.

The number of African Americans serving in-theater jumped from 97,725 in 1941 to 504,000 in 1943. However, 425,000 black troops remained in the United States. The military claimed that allied foreign nations objected to the presence of black troops, but it was usually American commanders overseas who opposed their assignment.

17 July 1944
The worst home front disaster of WWII occurred when two ships, the E.A. Bryan and the Quinalt Victory, docked at Port Chicago, California, exploded one night while African-American sailors were loading ammunition for use in the Pacific theater. Both ships and the loading pier were destroyed, while many of the nearby town’s buildings also suffered severe damage.

Of the 320 men killed, 202 of them were black enlisted men; the blast also injured 390 men. The worst military loss of life in the continental United States during WWII, this one incident involved 15 percent of all African Americans wounded or killed in this conflict.

Despite the extensive casualties, however, sailors were ordered to resume loading on 9 August 1944, with no training or procedural changes to help safeguard against another such catastrophe. Because they were afraid of another explosion, 258 African-American sailors refused to comply with orders.

The U.S. Navy court martialed 50 men for mutiny and tried the other 208 on lesser charges. Those convicted of mutiny were sentenced to 15 years in prison, but after the war they were granted amnesty. However, their original convictions were not overturned. Ultimately, though, this incident did result in changes affecting racial relations in the Navy, because ammunition loading ceased to be a “blacks only” assignment. The Navy also adopted safer procedures for loading ammunition.

Only 708 Black people died in combat during World War II, in a war that saw 418,500 Americans die while defending freedom and democracy from tyranny and oppression.

It is important to remember that racial views in the 1940s weren’t as angelic as they’re now, and that prejudicial and ignorant views of Black people were the norm. Black people were second-class citizens in America, and decided to wage a war against oppression at home, while white people were slaying evil yellow and white people abroad:

“The African American community in the United States resolved on a Double V Campaign: Victory over fascism abroad, and victory over discrimination at home. Large numbers migrated from poor Southern farms to munitions centers.

Racial tensions were high in overcrowded cities like Chicago; Detroit and Harlem experienced race riots in 1943.The derogative name jig was coined during this time. The Pittsburgh Courier created the Double V Campaign after readers began commenting on their second class status during wartime.”

While the Double V Campaign was being waged in America, white American troops were busy engaging the enemy in the Pacific Theater and eventually in the German-occupied European continent.

The millions of white people who fought tyranny, nationalism and fascism abroad and the hundreds of thousands who died so doing, were working to ensure that the goals of the Double V campaign would come to fruition at some point, even if they didn’t consciously know it.

Pre-Obama America was a diseased land and needed to be cleansed of its boring whiteness. Sure, these overwhelming white troops defeated evil in World War II, and they even had the honor of being dubbed “The Greatest Generation” for their efforts:

The Greatest Generation” is a term coined by journalist Tom Brokaw to describe the generation who grew up in the United States during the deprivation of the Great Depression, and then went on to fight in World War II, as well as those whose productivity within the war’s home front made a decisive material contribution to the war effort.”

But these Real American Heroes fought World War II so that the world we currently live in could be birthed; could see its genesis. These white people defeated Japan, a people who have never had a lofty opinion of Black people, and the Germans (who treated Jesse Owens with more respect than he would receive in America).

The Greatest Generation returned home from WWII victorious, and would then wage a war upon racism within its states to ensure true equality to all people, of all races.

Black people owe The Greatest Generation an almost inconceivable and repayable debt, for they bestowed Black people equality after the war and handed the reigns of power to them completely.

The United States enjoyed an unbelievable epoch of prosperity after World War II, which saw an unprecedented growth of the middle-class that affected white people, as well as Black people.

White people fled the major cities, leaving them to be governed by Black people and inadvertently destroying the old identity of those cities and instilling a negative stereotype of the urban jungle for all eternity.

Untold billions would be spent – the hard-earned tax dollars of The Greatest Generation – on Lyndon B. Johnson’s Great Society programs, as every attempt to remake the average American Black person into your average white person would be undertaken.

Yet these members of The Greatest Generation sacrificed countless lives in the war (more than 400,000 white Americans gave their lives so this new world of equality could exist) to usher in the new America – which might never be absolved of white racism.

The greatness of the era right after WWII – some might call it Pleasantville – was but a glimpse of a country that could have been, but was to be sacrificed to the Gods of Blackness.

In retrospect, Black people owe America and The Greatest Generation absolutely nothing (as long as they continue to entertain us with their dazzling sports skills). The cumulative sacrifices of white people in World War II register barely a penitence for the historical stain of racism that Black people must constantly remember and put hardly a dint in bitter narrative of white supremacy that dominates the colored people of the world like a rampaging river.

Like Damocles Sword, white guilt is the bitter legacy of The Greatest Generation, for they extirpated a nation that seemed poised to preside over the world’s affairs and usher in an irenic era of continued growth and unabated happiness.

However, this misguided sense of destiny was supplanted by the work of disingenuous white liberals – who constantly repent for their whiteness – and the crusading white pedagogues – those poor souls who fight and try to undo nature – as they constantly maneuver to heap scorn upon this misnamed Greatest Generation as just an extension of Nazi Germany (whoops, that was by the books author).

These members of the The Greatest Generation represent one of the last links of the chain to an era of racism, oppression and evil, even though this group did more to ensure that Black people had a seat at the table. Don’t worry, they will soon be gone:

“In 2000, there were 555,974, WWII veterans in California, according to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. There are now 213,118. Ten years from now, just 30,370 will be alive. Across the nation, we lose 900 WWII veterans a day.

It is urgent that we honor these heroes now, while there is time. Strangely, given the scope, magnitude and importance of World War II, America had been woefully late in acknowledging a debt we can never repay to those who defended the liberty we take for granted.”

With each passing of a veteran of World War II, the rapidity of the air coming out Pre-Obama America speeds up. Will an article one day appear in an America newspaper much like this one from England?

“Nearly 400,000 Britons died. Millions more were scarred by the experience, physically and mentally.

But was it worth it? Her answer – and the answer of many of her contemporaries, now in their 80s and 90s – is a resounding No.

They despise what has become of the Britain they once fought to save. It’s not our country any more, they say, in sorrow and anger.

In one letter in this collection, an RAF mechanic quoted a poem about comrades who fell in battle: ‘I mourned them then, But now surviving in a world, Indifferent to their hopes and dreams, I grieve more for the living.’

The Greatest Generation is a sickening reminder to the inhabitants of Obama’s America of a stain that no matter how hard it is scrubbed, can never be removed. The dreams, ambitions, sacrifices and goals of these brave men and women built the country we live in today.

Paradoxically, Black people cannot be to happy with this generation for they kept Black people from contributing fully in World War II. Yet, the dichotomy of this situation is equally a tragedy: this experience of divisiveness would ensure that Black people received full integration into America life.

Worse, The Greatest Generation is forced to undergo a Crayola Moment as the overbearing whiteness of this group is in dire need of a good 21st century revisionist coloring.

Where can this be found? Easy. Movies. People believe truth to be formulated by what they visualize and favorable impressions of historically inaccurate “truths” can be conjured through the magic of cinema:

“On February 19 1945 Thomas McPhatter found himself on a landing craft heading toward the beach on Iwo Jima.”There were bodies bobbing up all around, all these dead men,” said the former US marine, now 83 and living in San Diego. “Then we were crawling on our bellies and moving up the beach. I jumped in a foxhole and there was a young white marine holding his family pictures. He had been hit by shrapnel, he was bleeding from the ears, nose and mouth. It frightened me. The only thing I could do was lie there and repeat the Lord’s prayer, over and over and over.”

Sadly, Sgt McPhatter’s experience is not mirrored in Flags of Our Fathers, Clint Eastwood’s big-budget, Oscar-tipped film of the battle for the Japanese island that opened on Friday in the US. While the film’s battle scenes show scores of young soldiers in combat, none of them are African-American. Yet almost 900 African-American troops took part in the battle of Iwo Jima, including Sgt McPhatter.

The film tells the story of the raising of the stars and stripes over Mount Suribachi at the tip of the island. The moment was captured in a photograph that became a symbol of the US war effort. Eastwood’s film follows the marines in the picture, including the Native American Ira Hayes, as they were removed from combat operations to promote the sale of government war bonds.

Mr McPhatter, who went on to serve in Vietnam and rose to the rank of lieutenant commander in the US navy, even had a part in the raising of the flag. “The man who put the first flag up on Iwo Jima got a piece of pipe from me to put the flag up on,” he says. That, too, is absent from the film.

“Of all the movies that have been made of Iwo Jima, you never see a black face,” said Mr McPhatter. “This is the last straw. I feel like I’ve been denied, I’ve been insulted, I’ve been mistreated. But what can you do? We still have a strong underlying force in my country of rabid racism.”

Spike Lee accused the film’s director, Clint Eastwood, of racism, for not showing a single Black face in his World War II movies:

In round one, Lee came out swinging at Director Clint Eastwood’s WWII films, “Flags of Our Fathers” and “Letters from Iwo Jima,” claiming that Eastwood “erased the role of black GIs from history.” Lee tried on his self-righteous air of moral certitude and labeled Eastwood a racist. “Many black veterans who fought in Iwo Jima were hurt that there was no representation of them in both of those films,” Lee said in an interview in Rome last year.

Round two began as the blow fell upon Eastwood in an interview with Focus magazine. Why was Eastwood such a racist, they wondered? Eastwood, momentarily rocked on his heels, came back with a knock out blow showing the world that, aging or not, he was still faster and smarter than the bespeckled, racemongering Lee.

“Does he know anything about American history?” Eastwood told Focus when asked about Lee’s criticism. “The U.S. military was segregated til the Korean War, and the blacks in World War Two were totally segregated. The only black battalion on Iwo Jima was a small munitions supply unit that came to the beach.

“The story was about the men who raised the flag and we can’t make them black if they were not there. So tell him: Why don’t you go back and study your history and stop mouthing off!”

You see, the coming decades will see an erosion of historical facts and the inclusion of more Black faces into the tale of World War II so that Dorie Miller can have some much deserved colored company.

For Stuff Black People Don’t Like includes The Greatest Generation, as the war these white people fought was won without the help of Black soldiers and worse, in a period of time when Black people faced rampant discrimination at home. How can these people – The Greatest Generation – be the source of simultaneous pride and yet universal scorn for their racial chauvenism?

The answer is simple: they can’t. The Greatest Generation will fade into obscurity and memory as they leave this realm of existence and depart for the afterlife.

A new group will be awarded the moniker The Greatest Generation, for the defeat of Japan and Germany by white people no longer reflects the multiracial splendor that is 21st America. That title will be reserved Obama’s generation.

#677. Being the Real PeopleofWalmart.com

Admit it. You’ve ventured to the absolutely brilliant website peopleofwalmart.com and enjoyed a few hearty laughs (maybe a few belly laughs).

What exactly is peopleofwalmart.com?:

“We personally have nothing against Walmart. We, along with most of America, shop at Walmart for nearly everything we need. This site is simply a satirical social commentary of the extraordinary sights found at America’s favorite store. Walmart is Americana baby, Enjoy!”

What exactly are we about to discuss here at SBPDL? Wal-Mart is a much maligned company, and the store receives the type of envy and derision the New York Yankees find themselves constantly encountering. Why? Because Wal-Mart is the biggest company in the world (revenues of $378 billion in 2008):

“A facelift and even lower prices kept the world’s largest retailer afloat in a troubled economy.Staring down the barrel of brutal fourth-quarter retail forecasts, CEO Lee Scott dramatically cut prices on 15,000 items – including popular toys and electronics – by 20% more than usual to lure holiday shoppers. That rocked the industry, pressuring other retailers to squeeze already tight margins.

The tactic worked: Wal-Mart grossed $100 billion, breaking its fourth-quarter sales record, and soundly beat Target in same-store holiday sales for the first time in nearly a decade.”

Interestingly, the customer base of Wal-Mart (if one decided the test samples at peopleofwalmart.com are an accurate portrayal of the cross-geographical pool of consumers for its low prices) represents the diversity of the United States perfectly:

“Wal-Mart Stores Inc. will retool its 3,256 U.S. stores over two years to give them a more customized mix of goods and layout for six key groups of customers, including Hispanics, African-Americans and affluent shoppers, the executive in charge of Wal-Mart’s U.S. operations said Thursday. The move is the latest strategy twist for the world’s largest retailer as it struggles to revive growth rates that have fallen behind smaller rivals such as Target Corp. and after the company’s first quarterly drop in profits in a decade.

The approach, called segmentation, follows months of new initiatives from Wal-Mart to make sure each store is better tailored to its locale and to lure more affluent shoppers, who may come to Wal-Mart for groceries and basics but skip the company’s more profitable aisles like apparel and electronics.

Eduardo Castro-Wright, president and chief executive of Wal-Mart U.S., said stores will get a more specific mix of products and layout to appeal to one of the six target groups — based on what market research showed was the best approach for that location.

“Driving customer relevancy will drive growth,” Castro-Wright said in a Webcast of a presentation to financial analysts.

The target groups identified by Wal-Mart’s market researchers are Hispanics, African Americans, “empty-nesters/boomers,” affluent, suburban and rural shoppers, according to Castro-Wright’s slide presentation.”

Everyone loves low prices and nearly 100 million Americans enter a Wal-Mart store each week searching for discounted goods and merchandise, all in an environment where the most garish and outlandish individual can shop without fear of persecution or ridicule.

You see, Wal-Mart is the ultimate manifestation of America, where the pursuit of happiness is a virtue and individual liberty to wear any accoutrement in public is encouraged and scorn is heaped upon those who point the prole takeover of the nation.

Newsflash: proles run this country. They are the life-blood of this nation. Visiting peopleofwalmart.com, one is shocked to see the incredible obesity represented within the pages of that website. Is this an anomaly? No. As we stated in passing on seconds, an unbelievable rate of Black people find themselves classified in the morbidly obese category. White people, always wishing to emulate Black people, work diligently to increase the turgid nature of the average American:

“The rates of adult obesity in the United States increased in 23 states during the past year and did not decrease in any state. And the number of obese and overweight children has now climbed to 30 percent in 30 states, a troubling trend that could signal decades of weight-related health problems such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease as these children become adults.”

For the fifth year in a row, Mississippi topped the list as the state with the highest rate of adult obesity, at 32.5 percent, according to the report, F as in Fat: How Obesity Policies Are Failing in America 2009.

Besides Mississippi, West Virginia, Alabama and Tennessee have obesity rates above 30 percent. Eight of the 10 states with the highest number of obese adults are in the South. The state with the lowest adult obesity rate is Colorado, at 18.9 percent, according to the report.

Remember, the least healthy geographic regions of the United States are in the south, which coincidentally has the highest percentage of Black people in the nation (click here to see how many Wal-Mart’s your state has operating).

Interestingly, this map illustrates where Wal-Mart stores are most frequent and not surprisingly, the south finds itself inundated with Sam Walton’s mad creation.

Again, no store more perfectly symbolizes the United States of America than Wal-Mart does and a quick look at the store will crystallize this metaphor for everyone:

Wal-Mart’s dedication to the African-American community is evident throughout our company.

  • Wal-Mart is a leading employer of minorities in the U.S. and has more than 257,000 African-American associates.
  • The company offers its Diversity Development Series seminars to assist our associates in their understanding of diversity trends and challenges. These sessions help to provide key information, tips and skills to empower associates to use their unique talents and ideas to contribute to their professional growth. As a result of these efforts and many others, more than 25 percent of all Wal-Mart managers and officials are minorities, including African-Americans.
  • Wal-Mart actively recruits associates from minority-serving institutions, including historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). In fact, more than 5,400 of our associates are graduates from 73 HBCUs across the country.

Uh-oh. Recruiting from Historically Black Colleges and Universities can be a risky proposition, considering how many of them are losing their accreditation.

Worse, Wal-Mart can’t employ all Black people:

“Joblessness for 16-to-24-year-old black men has reached Great Depression proportions — 34.5 percent in October, more than three times the rate for the general U.S. population. And last Friday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that unemployment in the District, home to many young black men, rose to 11.9 percent from 11.4 percent, even as it stayed relatively stable in Virginia and Maryland.”

Wal-Mart can’t employ all Black people in the country – that job is left to the Federal Government - but they can work to bring low-prices to Black people in the inner cities of America:

Beyond that local effort, Wal-Mart has taken its romance national, setting up scholarships for minorities, donating to the United Negro College Fund and writing checks for several black Congressmen. Patronage has its benefits. In May Black Enterprise, the venerable periodical of Afro-America’s business class, announced that Wal-Mart would be a sponsor of its 10th Annual Entrepreneur’s Conference. In its June issue, Black Enterprise listed its “30 Best Companies for Diversity.” Guess who made the cut?But Wal-Mart’s move into the inner city has set off a debate in the black community about economic development. Traditional activists see the company as a corporate parasite. “Desperate people do desperate things. People would rather have a supermarket than not,” says Jesse Jackson, whose Rainbow/PUSH Coalition is headquartered in Chicago. “But the point is that employment and development must go hand in hand. We need work where you can have a livable wage and health insurance, and retirement.”

12 Days of Christmas at SBPDL

You’ll shoot your eye out.”

This sentence has vastly different meanings to the white community in America and to the Black community of the USofA.

White people recall the Pre-Obama America Christmas classic, “A Christmas Story“, with Ralph’s hunger for a Red Ryder BB Gun being squashed by an overbearing parent, educator and even Santa (thankfully, father knows best in the end).

Black people, however, have a different interpretation of the sentence, as they use this phrase to implore fellow Black people to be careful when performing gun safety demonstrations or when walking down the street in Atlanta:

“A 19-year-old college student walking with friends was struck and killed by a stray bullet early Thursday on the campus of Clark Atlanta University, police said.

Jasmine Lynn, of Kansas City, Mo., was struck in the chest when shots were fired during a fight nearby. Another student whose name was not released was hit on the wrist and taken to a hospital.

Atlanta is one of the least safest cities in America and coincidentally, the Black Mecca of America.

Christmas is upon us again, as Black Friday has come and gone and the decorations are ubiquitous throughout neighborhoods in America.

Carolers are nearing and the smell of chestnuts roasting on opening fires dances upon with wind with its inviting aroma.

SBPDL will be celebrating the Christmas season in style – starting December 13.

Interestingly, Christmas is bifurcating into a predominately Pre-Obama America camp and into another group of people who view the holiday with a strong Black-face.

So, we ask you the reader to send us the best stories about Black people and Christmas you can find, for it is obvious that the term “white Christmas” is redundant. The creation of Kwanzaa shows the general public the truth about how Black people view Christmas and Pre-Obama America with crystal-clear simplicity.

Send us your stories or news reports to stuffblackpeople@gmail.com

Stuff Black People Don’t Like is going to embrace the Christmas season completely and we need your help in compiling the ultimate list of SBPDL and the Yule season.

Tiger Woods on Mein Obama

NOTE: A winter snow storm knocked out power and forced SBPDL to enjoy the snow yesterday. Delayed posts will be coming later today!

Tiger Woods, everyone’s favorite Black PGA golfer, had this to say about the historic election of Mein Obama.

Tiger Woods is a Black guy. He is a great golfer, but he doesn’t represent the true aspect of the game: being a sportsmen and a gentlemen (neither does John Daly).

Take a look at this interview with MSNBC where Tiger Woods has a virtual orgasm over the election of Mein Obama:

“I think it’s absolutely incredible,” Woods told CNBC. “He represents America. He’s multiracial. I was hoping it would happen in my lifetime. My father was hoping it would happen in his lifetime, but he didn’t get to see it. I’m lucky enough to have seen a person of color in the White House.”

When asked by the cable news outlet how his father Earl would have reacted to Obama’s election as the 44th President of the United States, Woods didn’t hesitate.

“He would have cried. Absolutely. No doubt about it.”

Tiger Woods is a Black guy. White people liked Tiger Woods because he didn’t represent a physical threat to them in the clubhouse. He tried desperately to be a white guy, as he acted white and was the token Black at nearly every golf course he went to in America.

Stuff Black People Don’t Like has no problem pointing this out, although many Black people our shocked by Tiger’s indiscretions:

“Amid all the headlines generated by Tiger Woods’ troubles — the puzzling car accident, the suggestions of marital turmoil and multiple mistresses — little attention has been given to the race of the women linked with the world’s greatest golfer. Except in the black community.

When three white women were said to be romantically involved with Woods in addition to his blonde, Swedish wife, blogs, airwaves and barbershops started humming, and Woods’ already tenuous standing among many blacks took a beating.

On the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner radio show, Woods was the butt of jokes all week.

“Thankfully, Tiger, you didn’t marry a black woman. Because if a sister caught you running around with a bunch of white hoochie-mamas,” one parody suggests in song, she would have castrated him.

“The Grinch’s Theme Song” didn’t stop there: “The question everyone in America wants to ask you is, how many white women does one brother waaant?”

As one blogger, Robert Paul Reyes, wrote: “If Tiger Woods had cheated on his gorgeous white wife with black women, the golfing great’s accident would have been barely a blip in the blogosphere.”

For all the love Tiger showered Mein Obama with when he elected president of failing nation, he sure doesn’t have the same love for his “colored” women, as Tiger has the eye; the eye of the Tiger.

This quote is important for all to understand the monolithic view that Black people have of race (and an extremely healthy one at that):

“There is a call for loyalty that is stronger in some ways than in other racial communities,” said the author of the study, George Yancey, a sociology professor at the University of North Texas and author of the book “Just Don’t Marry One.”The color of one’s companion has long been a major measure of “blackness” — which is a big reason why the biracial Barack Obama was able to fend off early questions about his black authenticity.

“Had Barack had a white wife, I would have thought twice about voting for him,” Johnson Cooper said.

Remember, SBPDL continues to be on the cutting edge of nearly every major story in America, for when you look at any news story through the prism of race, truths appear that some call hateful. We just call them facts.

TGIF at SBPDL

What a wild week of news to try and cover (remember, we told you about Tiger Woods)…
We’ll be back tomorrow with new posts. In the meantime, we thought this story might be of interest:

Six people accused of helping the suspected gunman in the killing of four Lakewood police officers in a Parkland coffee shop evade police have been arrested.

Four were booked into the Pierce County Jail on Monday and early Tuesday for investigation of rendering criminal assistance on four counts of first-degree murder. They are Rickey Hinton, Eddie Lee Davis, Douglas Edward Davis and Darcus Allen.

Two women – Letricia Nelson and Quiana Wiliams – were arrested and booked on Tuesday night, also for investigation of rendering criminal assistance. Nelson is suspected gunman Maurice Clemmons’ aunt, police said.

Enjoy your Friday.

The Eye of the Tiger…

Tiger Woods has strange choices in women, for they seem to be monochromatic. Let’s be honest for a moment. We told you the Tiger Woods situation would blow up, before anyone else.

A lot of people are beginning to come to SBPDL and pull material from it, without citation. Hey, that’s fine. No big deal.

Just know that we will continue to be the ultimate trendsetters in identifying patterns as to Stuff Black People Don’t Like, and Mr. Tiger Woods fall from grace is another shining example of just that type of work.

The “eye of the Tiger”… the new name of the curious decision by Black men to date exclusively white women. Thanks Eldrick!

#754. Watches Left on Dying Men in the ER

“I might not be a doctor, but I play one one TV.”

Who doesn’t remember that famous commercial? Everyone loves doctors, yet few care to invest the time and effort into the proper education to be certified to take the Hippocratic Oath. In fact, doctors record some of the highest trust levels from the general public (amid a number of different vocations).

How many TV shows have centered around the hospital and the various eccentricities and nuisances of life in the ER?

Face it: we are a nation that loves watching life in the ER on television and also in trusting doctors to constantly give us the best advice for our health.

We love doctors, for they might give us unpleasant news occasionally, but it usually comes with a lollipop at the end of visit. Everyone loves lollipops.

However, SBPDL will be focusing on the ER and the entire medical profession the next few days, and we recently came across a most fascinating story concerning a member of the medical fraternity that tarnished the halo around the M.D. title a few degrees:

“Dr. Cleveland Enmon is an emergency room physician at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton . Dr. Enmon is accused of abandoning attempts to resuscitate a patient from cardiac arrest to instead pocket the dead man’s valuable Rolex wristwatch. The suit, filed by the adult children of Jerry Keith Kubena, Sr., alleges that Dr. Cleveland James Enmon on June 1 “formed the intent” to swipe the Rolex from Kubena’s wrist while treating the man at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton.”

The nursing staff assisting Enmon soon noticed that Kubena’s flashy timepiece was missing; “Where is the wristwatch?” the suit quotes one as uttering. Two more nurses allegedly noticed a wristwatch-shaped bulge in the doctor’s pocket. Security was called to investigate the disappearance. Defying security’s orders, the lawsuit notes Enmon walked out of the operating room and into the parking lot, a move caught on hospital security cameras. A nurse claims she saw Enmon toss a small object into the grass and she subsequently led security personnel to that exact area and recovered the watch.”

This story is a shocking reminder that life in the ER isn’t always glamorous and one can’t be to careful with who they entrust their Rolex too guard, especially when they struggle to cling to each breath.

Enmon was the former chief resident of Emergency Medicine in King-Drew Emergency Medicine, one of the nations worst hospitals ( you won’t see any TV shows glorifying this ER ):

“King-Harbor found itself under public criticism once again after different stories ran in both the Los Angeles Times and LA Weekly in late May 2007 citing serious lapses in care, one fatal, at the renamed hospital.

The case of patient Edith Isabel Rodriguez, who bled to death on the emergency room floor after being ignored for 45 minutes, in particular became a cause célèbre about the failures and bureaucratic indifference of both King-Harbor as well as political and health leaders in the Los Angeles area; creating or reinforcing fears that the health care system will not take care of people in a time of dire need.”

Black people in the Los Angeles were horrified at the prospect of losing the hospital, especially one named after one of the patron saints of the new America, Martin Luther King Jr.:

“Let’s be honest,” said Dr. Dennis S. O’Leary, president of The Joint Commission, a hospital accrediting group, “if this were a hospital different from King/Drew, this would have been over a long time ago.”

He and other experts interviewed by The Times said the government would have moved much faster and more aggressively if King-Harbor, formerly known as King/Drew, didn’t have a unique history and special standing in the community.

The hospital was one of the few gains from the 1965 Watts riots and still is one of the few places poor people in South Los Angeles can turn to for acute care. African American politicians, in particular, have embraced its salvation.

…The most recent problems began in January 2004, when inspectors found that nurses lied in charts about patients’ conditions, failed to give crucial medications prescribed by doctors and left seriously ill patients unattended for hours — including three who died.”

So Dr. Enmon was a product of this hospital, that was universal decried as perhaps the most ineffectively run ER in the country, where patients were routinely left to rot? Any Rolex watches reported stolen at that prestigious hospital, before its doors were shuttered?

Dr. Enmon was a by-product of Morehouse College, a school which recently adopted new rules in a move to try and deter negative stereotypes about Black people. Something tells us this recent display of petty larceny, coupled with systematic indifference to the patients well-being is a shining example of the caliber of graduates Morehouse educates, as Dr. Enmon represents the Morehouse man with gusto!

Worse, another event recently transpired – this time in Philadelphia – where homeless, cracked out bums (obviously encouraged by Dr. Enmon’s example) robbed a dying man of his watch!:

“A school counselor suffering an apparent heart attack died in a Philadelphia emergency room after waiting nearly 80 minutes for help — and a trio of homeless drug addicts nearby stole his watch instead of seeking aid, police said.Joaquin Rivera, 63, died before seeing a triage nurse at Atria Health’s Frankford Campus over the weekend, police said.

Rivera, a musician and activist in the city’s Latino community, had spent more than 30 years working as a bilingual counselor at an inner-city high school.

“We’re all destroyed. A guy like that, for him to leave us the way that he did — and with what happened to him — everybody’s destroyed,” said Jesse Bermudez, a friend and fellow musician.”

The problem with this case though, is the trio of homeless drug addicts were multi-racial, which means Dr. Enmon and his alleged crime of stealing a Rolex has become something of an urban legend within the drug-addicted community, for he has so much in common with petty criminals.

A Morehouse educated doctor, who was the FORMER CHIEF OF EMERGENCY MEDICINE at a hospital that was routinely blasted for being an embarrassment to the medical profession (but was allowed to stay open due to racial politics) has more in common with homeless drug addicts, then with these M.D.’s.

Stuff Black People Don’t Like includes watches left on dying men in the Emergency Room/ ER, for Dr. Enmon seems to have more in common with drug addicts in Philadelphia then in being an upstanding representative of one of the finest medical schools for prospective Black M.D.’s ( or was ):

“While talking with four of his friends in Morehouse College’s Frederick Douglass Learning Resource Center, their conversation quickly turned to the September 2006 issue of Black Enterprise magazine, which included its biannual list of the “Top 50 Colleges for African Americans.” After four consecutive years of being the top ranked school, Morehouse’s placement on the most recent list dropped forty-four spots from number one to number forty-five.”

If you are sick in a major city, it might be more conducive trying to find an actor who plays a doctor on TV then going to a hospital run by Morehouse graduates.

Climate Treaty Reparations Would Cost $50-$200 Billion Per Year

Climate Treaty Reparations Would Cost $50-$200 Billion Per Year

By Howard Richman & Raymond Richman

Here’s a quiz. What’s the worst thing on the table at the U.N. Climate Control Conference in Copenhagen from December 7 to December 18? If you guessed cap-and-tax, you’re wrong. The reparations could be much, much worse.

The draft of the treaty encompasses 181 pages and recites that it shall be the obligation of developed countries (Europe, United States, Japan, Australia, etc.) to pay the developing countries (China, India, Africa, etc.) huge reparations in the form of annual sums to erase poverty and to share technology. Australian lawyer Janet Albrechtsen explains the most recent draft of the treaty:
Clause after complicated clause sets out the requirement that developed countries such as Australia pay their “adaptation debt” to developing countries. Clause 33 on page 39 says that by 2020 the scale of financial flows to support adaptation in developing countries must be at least $US67 billion ($73bn), or in the range of $US70bn to $US140bn a year.

How developed countries will pay is far from clear. The draft text sets out various alternatives, including Option 7 on page 135, which provides for “a (global) levy of 2 per cent on international financial market (monetary) transactions to Annex I Parties”. This means industrialized countries such as Australia, if we sign.

In the behind-the-scenes negotiations, the developed countries have already agreed to pay $167 billion per year, but the developing countries are holding out for $400 billion per year, according to BusinessGreen.com:
Developing nations … are insisting on a minimum of £242bn [$400 billion] per annum by 2020 to help them fight global warming, compared with the developed world’s offer of only £100bn [$167 billion] per year.
It is not clear what share will come from the United States. But based upon the totals cited by BusinessGreen, it can be safely assumed that Obama will volunteer somewhere between $50 and $200 billion per year by 2020 as the U.S. share.
The treaty has been complicated by the “Climategate” scandal, which gives additional evidence of the unscientific behavior of the proponents of reducing carbon dioxide emissions, which is the backbone of the treaty.
The scientific consensus that once backed the man-made global warming theory has disappeared, and a new theory, based upon cosmic rays and solar activity, is proving to be much more predictive of climate change — with carbon dioxide playing a minor role, if any. If the science backing the Copenhagen treaty is wrong, we shall discover in ten to fifty years that the world community has wasted tens of trillions of dollars.
Moreover, the distribution of the benefits and costs of global warming is very uncertain. Global warming would benefit colder countries while harming coastal countries. And carbon dioxide is in general a great help to plant life and agricultural production in general.
The costs of the treaty, however, are far clearer. The largest share of the burden would be borne by the United States. Students of history may remember that the reparations forced upon Germany by the victors of World War I resulted in hyperinflation, destroyed the German middle class, and eventually brought Adolf Hitler to power, causing World War II. Economist John Maynard Keynes predicted this disaster at the time. In a 1919 paper (“The Capacity of Germany to Pay Reparations”) he correctly predicted:
The policy of reducing Germany to servitude for a generation, of degrading the lives of millions of human beings, and of depriving a whole nation of happiness should be abhorrent and detestable — abhorrent and detestable, even if it were possible, even if it enriched ourselves, even if it did not sow the decay of the whole civilized life of Europe. …
Keynes was arguing that Germany would not be able to pay the reparations because it would not have the necessary surplus of exports over imports. Germany had an excess of imports in the years just before World War I, not an excess of exports. Not only that, but it had lost raw materials resources in the peace treaty that were needed for its iron goods exports, and its merchant marine and manpower had just been decimated by the war. Keynes was simply pointing out that Germany could not afford to pay the reparations.
America is in a similar position. We have had a huge and growing excess of imports over exports for more than a decade. Our manufacturing exports have already been compromised by the currency manipulations of developing countries and by their policies of keeping out American products through one pretext or another. For example, both China and India have labeled their automobile sectors as “strategic sectors” so that they can keep out American-produced vehicles through the high tariffs permitted by WTO rules. Using this pretext, China also applies tariffs to American auto parts, motorcycles, and mining machinery.
China will continue to manipulate the dollar-yuan exchange rate to ensure that new solar panel and windmill factories will be located in China and not the United States. They have already ensured that Chinese-made windmills and solar panels will not contain many American-made parts.
Basically, what this Copenhagen treaty proposes is that the United States go ever further in debt to China, selling China our remaining assets so that we can pay reparations to the developing countries. The receiving countries will in turn be able to buy windmills and solar panels from China.
The result would greatly accelerate the present trends. We would become a nation unable to get out of debt, even with the falling dollar. We would stop being an “ownership society” and become, in the words of Warren Buffett, a “sharecropper society.”
President Obama will pull out all the stops to get the treaty negotiated in Copenhagen next week and ratified in 2010 by the U.S. Senate. He knows that time is against him. Given time, more and more Americans will discover the new scientific realities. Moreover, his huge Democratic Party majority in the Senate will likely disappear in November 2010, and he may never again get another chance to get the two-thirds vote needed to ratify it.
