Farms Fund Robots to Replace Migrant Fruit Pickers

As if the debate over immigration and guest worker programs wasn’t complicated enough, now a couple of robots are rolling into the middle of it.

Vision Robotics, a San Diego company, is working on a pair of robots that would trundle through orchards plucking oranges, apples or other fruit from the trees. In a few years, troops of these machines could perform the tedious and labor-intensive task of fruit picking that currently employs thousands of migrant workers each season.

The robotic work has been funded entirely by agricultural associations, and pushed forward by the uncertainty surrounding the migrant labor force. Farmers are “very, very nervous about the availability and cost of labor in the near future,” says Vision Robotics CEO Derek Morikawa.

Agricultural groups hope Vision Robotics can build this harvester to replace labor crews.

It’s a surprising new market for Vision Robotics, which had been focused on developing consumer devices, including a robotic vacuum cleaner to compete with iRobot’s Roomba.

When a member of the California Citrus Research Board approached the company in 2004, Morikawa was doubtful that an effective robotic picker was even feasible. A citrus grower brought the skeptical engineers to an orange farm in California’s fertile Central Valley, where they walked down the neat rows of trees and stared at the oranges hanging in the branches.

Previous attempts at making a mechanical harvester were thwarted by inefficiency, explains Morikawa. In the past, experimental machines approached a tree as a human would, picking one piece of fruit and then looking for the next. In this slow process, the machine circled the tree repeatedly until it was sure it had picked all the fruit.

Morikawa says his engineers had their breakthrough idea right there in the orange grove. They realized that the task could be divided between two robots: One would locate all the oranges, and the second would pick them. “Once you know where all the fruit is, then it becomes an easy job to calculate the most efficient way to pick it all,” says Morikawa.

The eight-armed orange harvester will strip ripe fruit from trees.

But it wasn’t just technological challenges that held back previous attempts at building a mechanical harvester –- politics got involved, too. Cesar Chavez, the legendary leader of the United Farm Workers, began a campaign against mechanization back in 1978.

Chavez was outraged that the federal government was funding research and development on agricultural machines, but not spending any money to aid the farm workers who would be displaced. In the ’80s, that simmering anger merged with a growing realization that the technology was nowhere near ready, and government funding dried up.

This time around, growers’ associations are funding the research. By the end of this year, the orange growers will have invested almost $1 million in the project, says Ted Baskin, president of the California Citrus Research Board. He estimates that it will take about $5 million more to get to the finished product.

The farmers are willing to pay up because they’ve been rattled by a labor shortage over the past few years — California growers tell horror stories of watching their fruit rot on the trees as they waited for the picking crews to arrive. Last fall, growers rallied in front of the U.S. Capitol, frustrated that Congress still hadn’t created a program to ease the passage of foreign guest workers across the Mexico border.

With the supply-and-demand equation uncertain, growers see the robots as a better option. “You can predict what it’s going to cost to buy a machine and maintain it,” says Baskin. “You can’t predict the bargaining that we go through with contract labor,” he says.

The two robots would work as a team: one an eagle-eyed scout, the other a metallic octopus with a gentle touch. The first robot will scan the tree and build a 3-D map of the location and size of each orange, calculating the best order in which to pick them. It sends that information to the second robot, a harvester that will pick the tree clean, following a planned sequence that keeps its eight long arms from bumping into each other.

The Vision Robotics engineers are currently building the scout. They expect to have a prototype ready next year, with the harvester to follow two or three years later. Baskin says he doesn’t expect the mechanical systems to pose any serious problems. The hard work is writing the software. After the scout robot makes a 3-D map of the tree, it has to evaluate each piece of fruit. What size is the orange? What color is it? Does it have black spots on it? “It’s a question of gathering the information, and then judging whether it meets the parameters that are equal to a good orange,” Baskin says.

Vision Robotics has been working on that problem for almost four years now, which might give some reassurance to human pickers. The United Farm Workers’ leaders say they aren’t worried about the robots, because they don’t believe the machines will ever be able to do the job as well as people. Spokesman Marc Grossman predicts that mechanical hands will damage the fruit and make it unappealing for supermarket shoppers. “There are already machines that will pick wine grapes, but the high end wine growers don’t use them, because they want the quality,” Grossman says.

Farmers don’t seem to share that concern. The Washington Tree Fruit Commission started investing in the project last year, and Vision Robotics is talking to other agricultural groups with crops ranging from cherries to asparagus.

Black teenager slapped on the wrist for racially motivated near homicide.

A black teenage thug shot a man in the chest while making racially charged comments. He said he shot him because the man had a Confederate flag.

The thug plea bargained to aggravated battery and was given only ten years. The light sentence appears to violate Florida state law mandating a minimum of twenty for discharging a firearm while committing a crime.

The radical left-wing Herald-Tribune ran a propaganda article Wednesday blaming the victim. The paper claimed the victim “taunted” the perpetrator. This claim is not supported by the police and seems to be an invention of the newspaper. Two female friends of the  shooter told police that he initiated the confrontation and then shot the victim in the chest.

Imagine if the races were reversed in this story. This would be a major national news story with politicians denouncing the crime and demonstrations by black race hustlers. Instead it is quarantined to local press only and purposely distorted.

Replacing Third World Labor with Robots

Replacing Third World Labor with Robots

Another scientific achievement suggests we could solve our racial problems in a very short time if our government would support certain new technology. The Sun newspaper reports: “A ROBOT billed as a ‘toaster on legs’ has smashed a world record — by walking 14.3 miles in 11 hours. The Ranger, built by US scientists, set the record for untethered robotic walking earlier this month. Guided by students using a remote control, the odd-looking robot strode 108.5 times around a 212m indoor track. It completed about 70,000 steps before it needed a recharge. The Ranger, whose parts alone cost £15,000, took four years to perfect — but runs on batteries and cost(s) less than 1p (one penny) to travel four miles. It smashed the previous world record set by Boston Dynamics’ BigDog in Boston by 1.5 miles. The Ranger is energy efficient because it copies the physics of human walking, using gravity and momentum to roll its legs forward. While the movements of other robots are controlled by motors, the Ranger has a more laid-back gait.”

What is the biggest justification for illegal aliens in White societies? The claim that they now do most of the crop picking and dirty jobs that Whites allegedly won’t do. While this is not by any means entirely true, as witnessed by the thousands of Whites who line up for the vacated jobs every time Immigration raids some factory and hauls away the illegals.

But what if we could get robots to do many (if not all) of the dirty jobs? This would make immigrant Third World labor obsolete (not to mention making most Third World people in White nations obsolete).

Another article reports ” As if the debate over immigration and guest worker programs wasn’t complicated enough, now a couple of robots are rolling into the middle of it. Vision Robotics, a San Diego company, is working on a pair of robots that would trundle through orchards plucking oranges, apples or other fruit from the trees. Japan has been leading the world in developing industrial robots. Japan has very limited real estate. Even if they wanted to import large numbers of guest workers, there’s no place to put them. Japan is increasingly using industrial robots to do the difficult jobs in their auto factories that younger generations are less willing to do. At one point Japan was making 90 percent of the world’s industrial robots, thanks in large part to the US Congress capitulating to Ceasar Chavez.

Despite the ultra-liberal nature of the California legislature, there is a strong chance of a copy of Arizona’s immigration law SB 1070 passing in California. California has a voter initiative process which bypasses the Latinos, Socialists and lunatics in the legislature, and polls show a copy of SB1070 passing with a comfortable margin. Ted Hilton is leading an effort to get an anti-illegal alien voter initiative on the California ballot by 2012.

Immigration Laws Scare Away Illegal Aliens

by Jeff Davis

Despite the recent judicial tyranny, in which a Clinton-appointed federal judge prevented Arizona from enforcing immigration laws, that the federal government deliberately refuses to enforce themselves, many illegal aliens have been fleeing Arizona in anticipation of the law going into effect.

Not only does enforcement of our immigration laws work, the mere threat of enforcement, actually WORKS!

A Reuters article reports “….The two women are among scores of illegal immigrant families across Phoenix hauling the contents of their homes into the yard this weekend as they rush to sell up and get out before the state law takes effect on Thursday (July 29th). The law, the toughest imposed by any U.S. state to curb illegal immigration, seeks to drive more than 400,000 undocumented day laborers, landscapers, house cleaners, chambermaids and other workers out of Arizona, which borders Mexico.”

Notice the whiny liberal article doesn’t mention all the crime brought to Phoenix by the Mexican drug gangs. If Arizona starts deporting illegal aliens, a large percentage of drug felons would be expelled from Arizona as a side benefit.

And then there’s the issue of unethical employers who were deliberately hiring illegal aliens at minimum wage or less because they didn’t want to pay a decent wage to American citizens. A lot of White people in Arizona will be able to get jobs now, as all the cut-rate Latinos flee to Los Angeles.

The Reuters article notes “[The law] makes being an illegal immigrant a state crime and requires state and local police, during lawful contact, to investigate the status of anyone they reasonably suspect of being an illegal immigrant. The U.S. government estimates 100,000 unauthorized migrants left Arizona after the state passed an employer sanctions law three years ago requiring companies to verify workers’ status using a federal computer system.”

That’s 100,000 jobs opened up for American citizens. There are no figures for the number of illegals who have left since the new law passed in April.

The article reports “Some are heading back to Mexico or to neighboring states. Others are staying put and taking their chances. In a sign of a gathering exodus, Mexican businesses from grocers and butcher shops to diners and beauty salons have shut their doors in recent weeks as their owners and clients leave. On Saturday and Sunday, Reuters counted dozens of impromptu yard sales in Latino neighborhoods in central and west Phoenix.”

YES! YES!! YES!!! You see? It is possible to get rid of these people if we will just enforce the law!

There have been similar successes in Oklahoma and other states that require employers to verify that all workers are legal US citizens.

While the temporary suspension of parts of the new Arizona law, SB 1070 is a slap in the face for all Americans, who want immigration laws enforced. There’s an excellent chance that the law will ultimately be upheld at the Supreme Court level with a five-to-four vote. (Some optimists think that the Arizona law will get a favorable ruling at the Ninth Circuit Court, but it would be a long shot for that liberal court to give a fair ruling on something this important.)

Many illegal aliens are assuming they’ll lose eventually on this and are moving out of Arizona. A number of other states are considering copying Arizona’s law. There’s even an effort to create a voter initiative in California copying SB 1070. While the governor and legislature in California are far too liberal to copy SB 1070, the voters in California are getting sick of illegals, and a new wave of illegal alien refugees from Arizona will likely be the last straw.

Third World Invaders, Third World Diseases, Third World USA

by Jeff Davis

WESH News in Orlando reports: “Dengue fever has infected a handful of people in Central Florida, health officials said.’This is not a regular flu virus that you get, you feel a lot worse,’ said Dr. Todd Husty.’You get a real great fever, a horrible fever; it’s called break bone fever. You feel like your bones are breaking, but it’s really joint pain,’ Husty said.

Dengue Fever used to be a Third World disease, but as America gets flooded with legal and illegal invaders from every corner of the world, they’re bringing Third World diseases with them.

The article notes “Health officials said more than a dozen people have picked up the virus from mosquitoes in the Keys. More than 30 more across the state of Florida have the fever after picking it up out of the country. Mosquitoes in Central Florida do not carry Dengue, but they could if people are not careful, local doctors said. Mosquito control experts are treating areas near where three Orange County people have dengue. While the patients caught the fever somewhere else, if they get bitten by mosquitoes the virus could get into the local mosquito population.”

You mean if we didn’t have Third World immigrants coming into the country illegally without any quarantine or health examinations, then our local mosquitoes wouldn’t bite them and become transmitters of vile loathsome diseases that don’t belong here? Well, why didn’t I think of that? Or come to think of it, why didn’t our illustrious government think of that and maybe keep the damned foreigners out?

In the past decade there have been outbreaks of dengue fever and West Nile Disease in the US. There have also been rumors that people with the ebola virus were caught on airliners and quarantined at the last minute.

Florida seems to be ground zero for anything and everything coming in from the Third World, from Dengue fever to Burmese pythons to giant Gambian rats to Haitians. Not to mention repeated outbreaks of weird, lethal and hitherto unknown strains of salmonella and botulism and other hand-born diseases that now periodically emerge in American food processing and lead to massive produce recalls every harvest season.

It’s not just the massive wave after wave of illegals who are bad. It’s all that baggage they’re carrying with them, politically, racially, culturally, economically–and biologically.

WordPress Bites the Dust

by Jeff Davis

Helium.com reports: “The United States Government shut down about 73,000 WordPress blogs on a single Web site in a move that some fear signals an increasing disregard for individual free speech rights. The action follows the high profile government seizure of seven online movie sites weeks ago. The U.S. move dwarfs current Chinese government activity that shut down only dozens of blogs in China. Recently targeted by federal action, the free WordPress blogging site Blogetery abruptly went offline after hosting provider BurstNet complied with undisclosed demands from authorities. A message viewable upon visiting the Blogetery site gives this message from its owner: ‘After being (a) BurstNet customer for 7 months our server was terminated without any notification or explanation.’ A link on the site leads to a forum called Web Hosting Talk, where the site operator has posted correspondence with BurstNet, that suggests federal involvement in the incident.”

What it’s all coming down to is that free speech really isn’t free. If you support radical views, you’ll need to own your own website, your own server and be your own host too.

The article notes “Those first to learn about the Blogetery shutdown seemed to think that the move was due to intellectual property concerns. The online discussion supposedly with the Blogetery owner suggests that users of his site prompted frequent cease and desist demands from copyright holders to which he responded with appropriate action against users of his site. Original speculation seemed to be misguided upon the release of comments from BurstNet that disclosed that the action against Blogetery was not typical and required instant compliance with federal demands to close the entire Web site. Some reports seem to suggest that intellectual property rights actions typically target specific users of a service rather than the entire operation. Now, some fear that the suffering of the innocent together with the guilty as the free speech of many appears to have been infringed by government action. Such fear supposes, of course, that not all 73,000 blogs on Blogetery were lawbreakers. Some consider the magnitude of the federal action as an indication that the Blogetery site itself and its owner may have been involved in some type of wrongdoing.”

The Obama regime is flexing its muscles, seeing how much they can wipe out in one fell swoop. They already have a law in place that allows Obama to pull a “kill switch” and shut down the entire Net in the event of a “national emergency.” And we all know who will define what constitutes a national emergency, don’t we?

The Dems see the First and Second Amendments as “problems” not inalienable Rights of the people. WordPress had been a bastion of free speech and Obama has gotten rid of it using a few technical violations of copyright laws as an excuse.

Locust: Looks like We are next to be shut down. It was fun, If we are shut down, our political voice will finally be silenced, and all avenues of non-violence would have been tried, and only thing left is to prepare and be ready for what is to come.  See you all soon, on the battlefield that is.

Niggers try to break into Dead Nigger Storage!

Niggers try to break into Dead Nigger Storage!

July 14, 2010 by doctorofnaturalselection

Sometimes the word gets out and around that we have some famous niggers that have been entrusted to us.  It is imperative that niggers be properly stored away from humans, and in a safe manner to quarantine the many diseases that niggers carry as part of celebrating that rich, proud culture niggers claim to have.   And so a couple of niggers were caught trying to break into our state of the art facility.  They were probably trying to get to our dead nigger we call “The Moonwalker.”

Our security system was triggered and one of our cameras got a clear picture of these niggers trying to appear like dey beez  all daid an sheeit!

“Let us in whitey! Wee beez daid! Jus’ look at us! Ook-eek-eek-screeee!”

Niggers go to all kinds of great lengths to beez all daid an sheeit just to get in to Dead Nigger Storage because for niggers, our services are free.  And anything free is more gibs muh dat that niggers demand because they think they deserve it.  While we would love to be able to have every nigger on earth stored in our facilities as their failed sub-human species becomes extinct, there are niggers that try to jump ahead in line.

Some of these niggers have created a way to make use of themselves so if they can’t fool us into letting them in to Dead Nigger Storage, then their efforts are not a total loss.  Below you can see some of the niggers that decided to become charcoal.  Probably for a bar-b-que if they failed at getting into our storage facility.  We hope they had a good cook out.

“Wee inbented dat charcoal an sheeit but whitey dun stole our kulcha!”

Looks like the death anniversary rush to see “The Moonwalker” was a helluva party!

“Duz wee callz dat Daid Nigga Stowage an sheeit or duz dey gibs us munny fo’ deez daid niggas? Wee jus’ wunt to see dat Michael body an sheeit!”

It has not dawned on niggers that they are doing some work in trying to fool us and get into our place – and remember that to a nigger, work beez rayciss.

Niggers think they invented everything so we submitted their “nigger charcoal” invention to the Nigger Museum of Accomplishment.  Unfortunately we ran into a small problem:

For the niggers that tried to break in, we wanted to make them comfortable even though they were alive so of course we turned them over to the police.  You should have seen their eyes light up!  Niggers love going to jail.  They get to celebrate dat down low an sheeit.  And dat down low beez one of their favorite parts of that rich, proud culture niggers think they have.

Please remember niggers, we are called Dead Nigger Storage for a reason.  So you need to be dead to be eligible for our services.  Either wait for your time to come or go out and celebrate your culture of crime.  Like we even need to suggest that!  Maybe you will get all daid an sheeit as you attack a human.  It could be your lucky day!

References to Slum, Ghetto and Poverty

http://www.floatingsheep.org/2010/03/references-to-slum-ghetto-and-poverty.html

Building upon our earlier maps of rich and poor, we were curious whether there was much difference between user generated references to slum, ghetto and poverty.

As the global map below indicates the differences seem to be primarily based on language with English speaking countries (U.S., Canada, the U.K. Australia and New Zealand) where references to poverty dominate.

Global Map of Slum, Ghetto, and Poverty

This difference becomes clearer as one zooms into the European regional level where references to ghetto appear to be most prevalent in non-English speaking zones. It is likely that this is tied to ghetto being a more internationalized term than poverty and thus shows up more outside the Anglophone world. But overall one can see that these particular search terms are not used ubiquitously across language groups, highlighting again the importance of using non-linguistic keywords for search, e.g., the number 1, or words that are generally unchanged across space. For example, maps of the names of well know international figures like “paris hilton” [1] or “osama bin laden” (this is probably the first time those two have been in the same sentence!).

European Map of Slum, Ghetto, and Poverty

Looking at North America therefore is helpful as it represents largely English speaking (apologies to Quebec and Mexico). While it is clear that there are more mentions of poverty than either slum or ghetto there are some intriguing patterns.

North American Map of Slum, Ghetto, and Poverty

For example, places where references to slum are the most prevalent are relatively rare but do seem to correspond with poor areas such as Watts in Los Angeles and some neighborhoods in Philadelphia and New York. The term ghetto also appears to be most frequent in urban settings (although not all) with the cities of Tampa, Gainesville, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Phoenix, Oakland and Sacramento representing clusters.

Since the term poverty greatly overshadows occurrences of slum or ghetto we also generated a map which just those terms. It is not clear why these differences are here but may simple point to regional linguist preferences with the U.S.

North American Map of Slum and Ghetto

Again, this mapping does not signifying a particular economic fortune in any one area but the prevalence of an array of terms associated with economically disadvantaged areas. Still it produces some intriguing patterns.

LA Times: Arizona Used To Be Hunky Dorey With Illegals-What Happened?

LA Times: Arizona Used To Be Hunky Dorey With Illegals-What Happened?

For a change, an Old Media outlet does a very good job in explaining just how Arizona went from a state that was tolerant of illegals as little as six years ago to a state that wants them all gone. It’s a long article, chock full of reality, rather than liberal spin, well worth the read, but, here are a few excerpts

Arizona has made a name for itself as the state with the harshest policies against illegal immigration. But as few as six years ago, this border state was among the nation’s most welcoming of illegal immigrants.

Back then, its two Republican U.S. senators and one of its congressmen were among the strongest advocates of legalizing millions of illegal residents in the country. Mexico was the state’s largest trading partner, and the governor boasted of her warm relationships with counterparts across the border. Both political parties courted the Latino vote.

And there was problem #1: they courted people who were in favor of ignoring the law, rather than courting American’s who are vastly against illegal aliens. They finally saw the political reality. As far as Mexico goes, the burden is on them to stop sending illegals across the border. Mexico doesn’t put up with illegals themselves.

How did things change so quickly?

“The perfect storm occurred,” said Mesa Mayor Scott Smith. “There was a combination of demographic changes, the introduction of a criminal element that didn’t used to be here and the drop in the economy, which has put everyone on edge.”

Well, the economy wasn’t in dire straights six years ago, so, for myself, I would say that a big issue, which actually goes a few years back, is the criminal element combined with American’s getting tired of having to change their lives for people who refused to join the American experience. They were tired of catching a boatload of carp because their business didn’t have someone who spoke Spanish. They were tired of having to put up signs in Spanish. Heck, Spanish speaking American’s were getting tired of being the go-t0 person, dealing with all the problems, rather than making sales themselves.

But SB 1070 wasn’t Arizona’s first legislative assault on illegal immigration. Since 2004, Arizona legislators have passed measures that restricted illegal immigrants from receiving in-state tuition, made English the official language and dissolved any business that repeatedly hired illegal immigrants.

Why would we provide law breakers, people who do not belong here, with services that other American’s are not entitled to?

The population increased after the federal government stepped up enforcement along the California border, slowing illegal crossings with more agents and a massive fence. That pushed traffic east — to the mountains and deserts of Arizona.

Which is why we need a fence at strategic points, and more troops/border patrol agents on the ground. It works.

Do we need immigration reform? You betcha! It needs to create a way to allow more temporary/migrant workers who will not be able to just disappear into society, and puts the hiring companies in charge of providing housing and health insurance for these workers.

Mexico’s declining oil production, rising social problems

Mexico’s declining oil production, rising social problems

The future of Mexico’s economy and social order is starting to look hazy.  If not from oil exports, from where will the Mexican government get one-third of its revenues … manufacturing Chinese-designed electric vehicles for sale in the U.S.?  Maybe not, at least not in the short-term. The world is demanding oil now.  So, Mexico aggressively pursues the extraction of its oil resources; but despite these aggressive efforts, Mexican oil production is declining.

Cantarell oil field in Mexico peaked in oil production in 2003-04 just above 2 million bpd; it has since fallen off to under 775,000 barrels per day (bpd). The Ku-Maloob-Zaap (offshore), discovered in 2002, was Mexico’s second largest producing oil field until recently.  Due to declining production at Cantarell and increasing production at Ku-Maloob-Zaap, the latter surpassed the former and became Mexico’s most productive oil field in 2009 pumping out around 800,000 bpd.  Ku-Maloob still has a ways to go before being able to fill the shoes of an operation like Cantarell, though; Cantarell was first discovered in 1976 in the Bay of Campeche, and since then, nearly 12 billion barrels of oil have been pumped from the reservoir in its lifetime, but recent declines have been rapid and are leaving Mexican officials wondering what happens if oil export revenues disappear.

With no major additions to domestic refining capacity forecast for 2010, the projection implies that crude oil production will fall by up to 245,000 bpd in 2010 to levels not seen since the late 1980s”, Reuters reports. The article goes on to say, “The sharp fall in oil production poses a significant threat to Mexico’s budget, which relies on oil revenues to pay for more than a third of expenditures”.

In order to keep Mexican oil production levels up, production at the onshore Chicontepec project is being ramped-up. “Two recent reports say that the country is taking heroic measures to increase production at their Chicontepec field in order to make up for continuing large declines at Cantarell”; butanalysts are skeptical it can dramatically raise yields at the field, where billions of barrels of oil are locked in tight pockets of rock that makes production slow and costly”.  The oil fields in the Chicontepec basin and at Ku-Maloob-Zaap together, though, are not displaying the capacity to keep up with other projects in terminal decline; as one industry insider reports, “the size of current fields that have been discovered or are coming online represent a fraction of the size of the oil fields going into terminal decline”.

Accounting for nearly one-third of government revenues, a certain sense of social stability relies on oil production numbers in Mexico meeting export demand figures.  Mexico can find another more sustainable industry over the long-term that can provide one-third of the government’s revenues, but right now, the world is demanding oil, and Mexico has made some critical bets on global oil-consumption rates.  “Oil is Mexico’s number-one export. With its oil revenues in decline, the state is finding it increasingly difficult to fund operations-including operations against one of its other top exports: illegal drugs”.

The mainstream media in America has been awash in stories on the recent rise in drug-gang violence in Mexico.  Since President Felipe Calderon took office in 2006, close to 10,000 people have since been killed in drug-related violence. Recently, the violence has seemed to escalate and spread across the border. Is Mexico losing control of its illegal drug industry due to lack of funding resulting from slowing oil revenues? Mexico’s problems will spill over into America.  A social unraveling of a major economy immediately to the south of the U.S. would cause considerable unrest in America, especially along the southern border.  Are Mexican police regaining control over the situation, or will there simply be more drug-gang violence due primarily to insufficient funds to control the illegal drug trade?

State-owned oil company, Pemex, Petroleos Mexicanos, has been ramping-up production by bringing more fields online; is there enough oil to be harvested in time to save the Mexican economy and keep the social fabric of Mexico from ripping?  What longer-term plan concerning sustainability in Mexico’s future should we be talking about in order to avert societal chaos on America’s southern border? To what degree is American societal stability, especially along the southern border, tied to the Mexican economy, and hence, Gulf of Mexico oil drilling?

Niggers Can’t Be Racists!

http://fedupintolerant.com/

Ben Jealous. The name says it all! This ridiculous nigger had the baboon balls to say on national television that it is impossible for niggers to be racists!  His logic is typical of the subhuman species.  He says that doo too tha fakk the slave was whipped by the white massa, and the angry victimized slave retrieves the whip and whips the massa back, he can therefore not be ever considered a racist for eternity!  What fucking planet did we get these apes from anyway?  I think the mistake made by the nigger loving population is that white people went to Africa to bring slaves here.  I think it was the next level up that is to blame.  Aliens scraped them from a dying planet somewhere out in a “Black Whore” and when they became a disruption within their waste containers, they simply flew over the most uninhabitable region of the Earth and dumped their septic tanks!  Niggers are space waste.  It would stand to reason the disruptive nigger would even wear out a welcome inside a space ship shit tank.  There really isn’t any logical explanation for them, so why not this?

Fact is, as long as niggers keep screaming racism and citing slavery as their justification, white people will slowly wake up to just how ridiculous they all are.  Right now they are basking in the arrogance of having a black president.  They think they have accomplished something positive for their “race”.  The reality is they cannot handle such responsibility.  Maintaining an intelligent administration without perpetual white hand holding is impossible for them.  With advocacy groups like the En Dubba A Ceepee constantly tossing monkey wrenches into any progress in race relations, we can count of their self destruction in time.  They can try to teach our children the nigger lie, but that only works for nigger children.  Humans are smart enough to smell the bullshit.  The time of the nigger is limited, thanks to vine swingers like Jealous and his silly band of screeching retarded chimps.  If only we could gather them into a giant space shuttle and fly them up to some “black whore” and just release them once again.  It obviously worked once for some galactic travelers!

(Editor’s Note: Go Quebec!! We’re cheering for you! Also, how can the US Federal Government support secession around the world but resist it at home? This places enormous pressure on Washington to allow peaceful secession of its own states…just like the USSR did in 1989 and 1990.)

The true impact of the World Court’s decision will be on separatist groups outside of Serbia that now have a model for how to declare independence.

After the International Court of Justice ruled that Kosovo’s declaration of independence was not prohibited by international law, I expected Serbs to react with anger. In truth, the reaction was one of indifference. There were no protests in Belgrade or histrionics by Serbian politicians.

The muted reaction was appropriate. International lawyers agree that last week’s decision is mostly notable for what it doesn’t do. The World Court purposely sidestepped difficult questions such as whether the declaration brought about Kosovo’s secession from Serbia and whether nations such as Canada and the United States were legally justified in recognizing an independent Kosovo. The court ruled only that declarations of independence made by separatist groups are not contrary to international law.

The World Court’s decision has been hailed by Kosovo’s government, but the ruling does not require other countries to recognize Kosovo as an independent state. Russia, China and Spain have already said they will continue to treat Kosovo as a part of Serbia. The true impact of the court’s decision will be on separatist groups outside of Serbia that now have a model for how to declare independence. Quebec separatists, in particular, can be expected to embrace the decision.

The Harper government has long sought to distinguish Kosovo and Quebec. Maxime Bernier, as minister of foreign affairs, initially justified Canada’s recognition of Kosovo by claiming that human-rights violations in the territory made it a “unique case.” This claim simply does not withstand scrutiny after the World Court’s ruling.

The court gave no consideration to Serbia’s treatment of Kosovo’s Albanian population. It noted only that there were radically different views on whether international law allows for secession on the basis of a state’s violation of human rights, as well as whether Kosovo was such a case.

What the court did find was that secessionist groups are not obligated to respect the territorial integrity of the country from which they are trying to secede. Nor are they prohibited from unilaterally declaring independence against the will of that country. What, then, is to stop Quebec’s National Assembly from declaring the province’s independence without holding a fair referendum as Quebec is supposed to do under the Clarity Act?

Few countries are likely to recognize an independent Quebec that tries to separate in such a manner. Indeed, there is arguably an obligation on the part of other nations to not recognize a unilateral secession by Quebec, although the World Court’s decision provides no insight into this question. Nevertheless, Quebec separatists may calculate that their energies are better directed at lobbying for recognition from individual nations than trying to comply with the Clarity Act.

Moreover, if Canada were to criticize Quebec for failing to adhere to the Clarity Act, Quebec could point out that Kosovo never even held a referendum in advance of declaring its independence. Its leaders could ask: Why must we not only hold a referendum but also allow the House of Commons to approve the referendum question and certify that the referendum result constituted a clear vote for independence?

The Kosovo precedent also undermines the notion that Quebec must seriously negotiate its separation from Canada. Under the administrative scheme established by the United Nations Security Council, representatives from Serbia and Kosovo were required to negotiate Kosovo’s final status. The negotiations were fruitless, leading Kosovo to declare its independence. But Kosovo’s representatives indicated from the beginning of negotiations that they would not settle for anything short of full independence and would not tolerate any partition of Kosovo’s territory. Quebec’s leaders may be tempted to take a similar line and declare Quebec’s independence if Canada refuses to acquiesce to these unfavourable terms.

The Harper government’s unconditional recognition of Kosovo has left Canada in an extremely difficult position. Whereas other countries that face secessionist threats and have refused to recognize Kosovo can maintain – consistent with the World Court’s decision – that a unilateral declaration of independence does not have the effect of creating an independent state, Canada must somehow reconcile its acceptance of Kosovo’s secession based on such a declaration with its claim that a similar action by Quebec would be contrary to international law.

After the court’s Kosovo decision, it is naive to believe that the Clarity Act will prevent Quebec from unilaterally declaring its independence from Canada. Quebec separatists will only be dissuaded from such a course of action if the international community expresses its support for the Clarity Act. Thus, the federal government must continue to work to solicit this support. Canada should also be more prudent in recognizing independence movements in the future. As noble as it may be to support the desire of other peoples for self-determination, Canada should not again needlessly weaken its position with respect to Quebec.

Walt Nigger World

Walt Nigger World

I recently spent some time at Disney World with the family. The place was top to bottom, wall to wall niggers. Everywhere I turned there were bucks and sows tramping through the world with their nigglets in tow. All the pics in this post were taken on my phone and this is but a small glimpse into the fuxation at WDW. I guess this is what niggers spend their welfare checks and stolen cash on.

This sow had some kind of fungus/mold growing on its thighs.

I figured that part of the reason was the latest Disney Princess, Shaneequa or Tinasha or whatever the hell its name is. Yet what really made me chuckle is there was no marketing for said princess at the Disney parks. I didn’t see much if any dolls, tshirts, rides or promotional materials for it. They didn’t even have a sow  in costume pretending to be a princess. Maybe I was just oblivious as I was too busy snapping pics of nigger sows with moldy thighs, but it did seem that the more popular princesses just so happened to not be niggers. Perhaps Disney is trying to shove that one under the rug, where it belongs.

By the way, I also went to Universal Studios which is the only viable competition for Disney and it was all the same thing. Niggers, niggers, niggers.

This is stating the obvious, but my advice to all humans: when you need to get away from it all, go to a nice quiet cabin by a lake or ocean and enjoy the peacefulness. Trust me, tourist attractions – amusement parks – are nigger cesspools.

Obama The Moslem

Obama The Moslem

obama4

Obama – A man whose politics are a  function of his psychologically damaging mixed race/ cultural /religious background.

Why is Obama so keen to see the End of White, Christian  Europe  – and USA?

Why is the USA , and Obama in particular, so keen to push Turkey into the EU? Turkey of course would only be the first major Islamic country in ‘ Europe .’ Once in, what real arguments would there then be to stop the inclusion of others in due course?  First would come more countries bordering the Mediterranean . Then others further afield, even eventually Iraq and Iran . Then on to Pakistan and on and on until a huge ‘Market State’ whose sole function is economic is created, perhaps encompassing everywhere except China, India, the USA and its economic partners in North America. and perhaps Brazil and its partners. Next stop total Oneness.

The Roots of Obama’s Psychology and Politics

No doubt the USA thinks that the disappearance of the nation states of Europe is in its own strategic and commercial interests. But there are other, highly significant motivations behind Obama’s attitudes. It is the (hardly original) opinion of this writer that the world-views of people like Obama, Cameron etc are a product to a great degree of their personal psychology and circumstances. It takes a great deal to convince a person to come round to  ideologies or ways of thinking other than those to which his or her personality is naturally attracted.

David Cameron, for example, exhibits all the  condescension of the guilt-ridden overprivileged.  This combines a misplaced, patronising pity or concern for ordinary people with an arrogant assumption of all kinds of superiority: social, intellectual, educational, moral…… Ordinary people tend to be viewed as less than fully human by those with Cameron’s background.  There is too with Cameron a dash of minority ethnicity, as well as family connections in the City. This is why he is a Tory, a Wet and a ‘Progressive’ economic liberal who believes Utopia lies in the freedom to make money.

So what are the circumstances of Obama? We know that he is the son of a Kenyan father who abandoned his 60′s- style radical white mother. His mother then traipsed round the globe with her son in tow, living for a time in Moslem Indonesia where Obama had an Indonesian step-father and  went to a  Moslem School. This must surely have produced deeply felt attitudes and psychological conflicts in the young Obama, such as feelings of rejection due to the behaviour of his natural father and a sense of confusion, alienation and rootlessness; of not really belonging anywhere, which are being worked out on the stage of USA and world politics.  For example, being part white,  Obama is considered a black in the USA and it is in blackness that he has found some kind of anchorage, some kind of roots, perhaps also related to a desire to reconnect with his disappeared father.  His religious roots are as ambiguous as are his racial and cultural ones. He claims that he  is a Christian. But is he? Obama was brought up as a moslem. According to Major General Curry  in the American Magazine ‘Guns and Patriots’, he is a Moslem. Curry writes;-

jerrycurry2010

Major General Curry

If it looks like a duck, quacks like  a duck, waddles like  a duck and acts like a duck…..

‘My mother believed in “common sense” testing. She said if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, waddles like a duck and acts like a duck; it’s a duck. She believed that actions speak louder than words and that only a liar said one thing and then did the opposite.

Would President Obama pass my mother’s “is he a Muslim” test? Let’s see. President Obama says there is nothing more beautiful than the Muslim call to prayer in the evening. He says that the United States was not founded as a Christian nation.

Obama’s father and step-father were Muslims and he spent his childhood living in a Muslim country where his school enrollment records say his religion is Islam. As President of the United States he genuflects to the Muslim King of Saudi Arabia but not the Christian Queen of England . He thumbs his nose at America ‘s friends and bows to its enemies. In short, Obama quacks like a Muslim, waddles like a Muslim and acts like a Muslim, so is he a Muslim? My mother would say, “Yes! He’s a Muslim through and through.”

Growing up as a Muslim, Obama must have learned that according to the Qur’an it is acceptable to lie, deceive and live by a double standard provided in so doing one advances Islamic goals. Muslims only pretend to trust and be friends with non-Muslims; in the deepest of their Muslim hearts they have been taught that all non-Muslims are infidels.

Speaking of double standards, Saudi Arabia is building mosques all over the world and Muslims are hoping to build a 13 story mosque at “Ground Zero” in New York City . At the same time, Islam’s double standard mandates that no non-Muslim churches be built in Saudi Arabia or other Islamic countries.

A good example of this double standard principle in action was Yasser Arafat. He could seemingly enter into genuine peace negotiations with the United States and Israel and, at the same time; lie about it with complete sincerity. Routinely he made all sorts of promises and pronouncements in English, and the very next day said the exact opposite to an Arabic audience — perhaps to him it wasn’t really lying, just being faithful to the teachings of the Qur’an.

Is it because President Obama is secretly a Muslim that he can so sincerely pretend, like Arafat, that his actions and policies have never put a strain on U.S. Israeli relations? “If you look at every public statement I have made it has been a constant reaffirmation of the special relationship between the United States and Israel .” This is like President Clinton saying that it depends on what the meaning of is is.

In 2005 the U.S. promised Israel , in writing, that in future negotiations with the Palestinians we would not insist that Israel withdraw to its pre-1967 borders. But last year the Obama Administration said that that promise would no longer be honored.
In the past, both Democrat and Republican Administrations have insisted that negotiations be based on a two-state solution, which means that for Palestinian refugees
there can be no open “right of return” to Israel

With open immigration the number of Palestinians living in Israel would quickly overwhelm the number of Jews, and soon the Jewish state would cease to exist. Candidate Obama, while running for president, made it clear that he did not support a “right of return” for Palestinian refugees. But now that he’s president, he has reneged on that promise.

Months ago Obama promised to send 1,500 National Guard troops to the Arizona border and to spend at least $500 million on border security. Gov. Brewer is still waiting for the troops and money to arrive.

In a recent Muslim-double-standard speech, President Obama bragged that the southwest American border is as safe as it has ever been. But at the same time his Administration was putting up signs warning American citizens to stay away from the Arizona border area because, “SMUGGLING AND ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION MAY BE ENCOUNTERED IN THIS AREA.”

Is Obama a Muslim? You make the call.

Who left the Gates Open?

Who left the Gates Open?
eurabia

They are through the gates.  God help us now.

It all started in the year 610 when Muhammad then aged 40 found himself in a cave looking for spiritual guidance in a place called Hira, just up the road from Mecca. He claimed he had a visitation by the Archangel Gabriel.

Now when Muhammad described the Angel Gabriel as having six hundred wings and whose size covered the horizon, one should question his mental state. Personally I would have thought two wings would have been quite sufficient. By comparison it certainly makes the tales of the Prodigal Son and Bread and Fishes pale into insignificance. What history does not tell us is what exactly what is was that Muhammad, with emphasis on the mad; smoking the day Gabriel gave him that surprise visit or was the hallucinations caused by heat of the day.

It did not end there I’m afraid; he also heard voices instructing him to recite. As he could not read, Angel Gabriel revealed to him the teachings that would later be compiled into the Qur’an.

What Different Countries Are For

What Different Countries Are For

By nature, Belgium, with its ports, rivers, fertile soil, and coal, is one of the richest places on Earth, as it has been for most of the last 900 years. As a state, however, it’s a failed 19th Century experiment in multiculturalism. The founding of the Kingdom of Belgium in the 1830s was popular with the Great Powers as a convenient neutral buffer zone between the great linguistic zones of Western Europe (Germanic and Romance) and/or a convenient place for Great Powers to fight battles without messing up their own countries. And combining Catholics who spoke Flemish and Catholics who spoke French seemed to make sense.

Over time, religion became less salient, leaving language as the great divide. It’s natural to sympathize with other people with whom you converse more than with other people with whom you can’t as readily interchange thoughts. It’s also easier to monitor them to make sure they aren’t cheating you. The rise of NATO and the European Union has made the sheer size of a country ever less important for warfare or trade. So, states increasingly exist in Europe today less as part of a great game to accumulate the most military-industrial might to conquer other states, but mostly as affirmations of nationhood and as a means to redistribute wealth, both to interests and to the pockets of the leaders of interests.

In the past, both the aristocrats and the leading coal and iron regions of Belgium were French-speaking, so they had most of the money. Over time, however, the Flemish have become more productive, and resent having the wealth they earn taxed away and, net, given to Walloons. Both sides rightfully resent the corrupt rake-off by politicians, which is unusually high for northern Europe. My guess is that Belgium is not only unsurprisingly more corrupt than the Netherlands to the north but also more corrupt than France to the south, although I haven’t looked into this for years.

Mixed ethnicity democracies tend to be crooked for what might be called the Lee Kwan Yew-FDR reason: You can’t afford to vote out a corrupt SOB of your own group because while he might be an SOB, he’s your SOB and — at an admittedly high cost — he protects you against the other guys’ SOBs.

Belgium has been haltingly devolving toward a decentralized Switzerland model, but it might make more sense to just split the country into two countries along language lines with perhaps Brussels becoming the Vatican City of the EU.

But there’s tremendous resistance to this sensible solution among the Euro-elites. The NYT says, reflecting the unthinking elite consensus:

“Europe as a whole may be busy papering over its differences, burying cultural disparities and centuries of feuding. But not Belgium. It seems headed the other way.”

In reality, the splitting up of Belgium would be a triumph for the European Union, showing that countries don’t need to be big in Europe anymore to avoid being trampled on the battlefield or isolated economically, and can now afford to reduce themselves to sizes more congenial to honest, effective self-rule and national affirmations. But, that’s too sophisticated of an idea for Euro-elites. They’ve been trumpeting themselves for 60 years as “burying cultural disparities and centuries of feuding,” so they feel they can’t afford to let Belgium, the proto-EU, break up, not matter how much better it would be for good government.

Rasmussen Poll: Majority Say Political Class Ignores Voter Opinion

The Rasmussen quiz-masters tend to ask more interesting questions than some polling organizations, and today’s item is enormously fascinating: a great majority of voters believe the country’s rulers don’t give a rat’s ass about the opinions of the electorate.

And — no surprise — one of the most indicative issues in this regard is immigration.

68% Say Political Class Doesn’t Care What Most Americans Think, Rasmussen Reports, July 14, 2010

The frustration that voters are expressing in 2010 goes much deeper than specific policies. At a more fundamental level, voters just don’t believe politicians are interested in the opinions of ordinary Americans.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 68% believe the nation’s Political Class doesn’t “care what most Americans think.” Only 15% believe the Political Class is interested in the views of those they are supposed to serve. Another 17% are not sure.

Skepticism about the Political Class interest in voters is found across just about all demographic and partisan groups. However, self-identified liberals are evenly divided on the question.  Eighty-eight percent (88%) of conservatives and 64% of moderates reject the notion that the Political Class cares. […]

Over the past couple of years, most Americans have opposed, in many cases strongly, initiatives by the Political Class including the bailouts of the auto and financial industries. Most voters still favor repeal of the national health care plan and by a two-to-one margin disagree with the Justice Department’s decision to challenge Arizona’s new immigration law in court. Sixty-four percent (64%) believe the federal government by failing to enforce immigration law is more to blame for the controversy over Arizona’s law than state officials are for passing it.

Washington Post political columnist Dana Milbank recently wrote a column about Arizona’s response to illegal immigration and called it a “pariah state.” However, voters nationwide are far more embarrassed by the Political Class and its behavior than by Arizona’s response to illegal immigration.

In fact, 55% don’t even think most members of Congress pay all the taxes they owe.

One reason for skepticism about the Political Class is that 70% believe Big Government and Big Business are on the same team

working together against the rest of us.

Below, the joy of treason — From left, Senators Mel Martinez (R-FL), Lindsey O. Graham (R-SC), and Edward M. Kennedy (D-MA) enjoyed a bipartisan yuck in 2007, probably about destroying America with their illegal alien amnesty bill — which failed due to the outrage of the citizens.

Tired Liberals Confront Population Growth

Tired Liberals Confront Population Growth

This entry is motivated by an ongoing exchange that I am having with Leon about how the current Liberal system is running on intellectual fumes and is no longer capable of seriously addressing (or in some cases even recognizing) the problems that it’s creating.  I’d also be remiss if I didn’t point that Sailer is now getting ideas from beyond the pale MR here and here – I don’t know if this is the case but I’ll take some credit for it anyway.

First a little biographical information, John Horgan and George Johnson, who oddly resembles Harry Reid, are a friendly pair of liberal saws who write about scientific matters from elite perches in American society such as the New York Times, NYT Book Review, Discover, Scientific American, etc.  Between the two of them John has more interesting views while George is more orthodox but has higher professional standing, both of them fit the Orwellian stereotype of having absorbed the dominant thinking of their time so thoroughly that they seem to unconsciously avoid unorthodox thought (pardon me while I return the favor).

Back to the matter at hand, George is talking with John about a sustainability conference that he recently attended in which the subject of population growth came up.  The following is a ten minute excerpt from their full conversation, which is available at bloggingheads.tv:

http://bloggingheads.tv/diavlogs/29841?in=20:19&out=30:04

In my opinion, this is a great example of how these tired elite liberals are capable of simultaneously acknowledging a problem – unsustainable population levels in third world countries – and preceding to ignore it completely.  Amusingly enough, orthodox George comments on how this used to be a big deal for the Left a generation ago and then proceeds to trail off about the Catholic church and other random things.
