Six years ago today a group of Muslim terrorists took more than a thousand hostages in a school in Beslan, in the Russian Caucasus. That was the beginning of a three-day standoff that became the Beslan Atrocity. Nearly four hundred people were killed, many of them children, and hundreds more were injured.

To make sure that we all remember why we fight this war, Vlad Tepes recommends watching an hour-long BBC documentary about Beslan. The story of the siege is recounted impressionistically by children who survived.

Vlad has posted all six parts at his blog.

Sensitive viewers should take note: these videos are very, very difficult to watch. To hear what was done to these children, as told in their own words, is almost impossible to bear.

In some ways Beslan is more horrible than 9-11, because children were targeted deliberately, and were brutalized up close for three hellish days. The documentary brings home the fact that permanent, irremediable damage was done to the surviving children and their families. Those three days in the school gym were not something that anyone can ever fully recover from.

It was one of the greatest barbarities of modern times, and can be credited — as so many others can — to Islam.

How to Destroy a People Through Immigration

The WND commentator Vox Day has this to say about the use of immigration for the purposes of subversion and colonization:

Throughout history, when an occupying power has wanted to destabilize and destroy a nation, it has settled a foreign people in its midst. The seeds of the Balkan conflict were sown when the Turks planted Albanian Muslims in Kosovo to uproot the Christian Serbs who had long defended the borders of medieval Christendom and had more than once turned back the tide of an expanding Ottoman empire. The Soviet Union under Stalin methodically encouraged Russian emigration into the occupied Baltic states in a campaign of long-term Russification, to such an extent that nearly 30 percent of the populations of Latvia and Estonia were Russian.

Here is what I wrote three years ago. The same principles apply to North America:

Multiculturalism is simply a tool for divide and conquer. Is there then any point in trying to comprehend its logic at all? Maybe it was just a convenient excuse used for disrupting the established order of nation states by flooding them with mass immigration under the cover of “cultural diversity” or historical inevitability. If that is the case, there never was any coherent logic behind it, so we shouldn’t waste our time looking for one. Many of those promulgating it never believed a word of it themselves. Multiculturalism is the new Allah: Don’t understand, just obey.

This was undertaken by a coalition of different groups with a shared goal of undermining Western nation states. I heard supporters of mass immigration a generation ago state that all this talk about how it would change our societies into the unrecognizable was scare-mongering and racism. Now, the same groups are saying that yes, our societies have been changed forever. It’s good, and it’s anyway too late to do anything about it, so get used to it! Their propaganda was used to deceive the public and keep it off balance in order to implement potentially irreversible changes with little real debate. They knew they would never get the permission to destroy their own countries, so they simply didn’t ask.

By dismantling national borders, the EU has facilitated the largest migration waves in European history. When Poland became a member, many Poles moved to Britain, Germany etc. This left Poland with a labor shortage. They are now considering importing workers from the Ukraine and Russia to compensate for the Poles that left. At the same time, native Brits are fleeing to Spain because they don’t feel at home in Britain anymore. By such moves, you unleash a chain migration that will eventually smash nation states that have existed for ages. Yet this intra-European migration pales in comparison to the immigration from developing nations. The end result will — supposedly — be an entire continent of people without any national loyalties who will be divided, disoriented and thus presumably easier to control. Stalin did the same thing, moving large population groups around to unsettle the state and keep it disunited. The EU has learned a lot from Stalin.

The Coming Crash

I am preparing a text which I will publish at The Brussels Journal in the not-too-distant future, but I will begin the discussion here first. When I read the various comments at Lawrence Auster’s place and Dennis Mangan’s blog, Takuan Seiyo’s recent piece at TBJ and the latest post by El Inglés at Gates of Vienna, I get the feeling that tensions are building up and that something big is going to happen within the coming generation, probably within the next five to ten years. Since I have been writing about geology lately I will use an analogy from plate tectonics: The tectonic plates of the Western world are now about to make a big move.

Tensions have been building slowly beneath the surface for many years and sooner or later these forces will be released in the form of a series of devastating earthquakes, followed by some secondary political and economic tsunamis. Some of the structures that currently appear to be rock solid will collapse like a house of cards during this period and the political landscape will change considerably. What appears unthinkable today will appear natural or inevitable twenty years from now. This is the discontinuity that El Inglés talks about. I would rank Britain as the Western European country most likely to first get a civil war caused by mass immigration and Multiculturalism. Denmark follows as number two and possibly Holland as number three. Both Belgium and Sweden are pretty bad, but too repressive to be first in line. Germany is too weighed down by her history to be first. This leaves France as a potential dark horse. I admit I don’t understand how the French think. On the surface, France looks screwed. On the other hand, France is historically speaking a revolutionary nation, for better or worse. Maybe there is some mini-Charles Martel in hiding somewhere. If so, he better show up soon.

I think we need to be realistic and realize that the current political-ideological order is completely broken and beyond repair. Instead of wasting time and energy on attempting to fix what cannot be fixed we need to prepare as best as we can for the coming crash and hopefully regroup to create something new and stronger afterward. There will be a pan-Western and perhaps international economic and social collapse in the not-too-distant future. I fear that this is too late to avoid by now. The people who support the ruling paradigm are too powerful and the paradigm contains so many flaws that it cannot be fixed. It needs to crash. We should focus on surviving this crash and on developing a new paradigm to replace the failed one.

We need to learn from our enemies, both internal and external. The one thing I reluctantly admire about Marxists and Leftists of all stripes is above all their ability to organize and focus on long-term goals. Unfortunately, their goals are usually destructive, but we can and must learn from their organizational skills so that we can beat them at their own game. They must be squashed, otherwise we cannot deal rationally and adequately with our external enemies.

We must get rid of Feminism, which is destructive and merely an extension of Marxism, anyway. We must prepare as best as we can for a collapse of the US dollar and perhaps the Euro. We must document what is being done to us by treasonous elites for future references, for instance by making a video dedicated to anti-white verbal and physical violence around the world. We must take steps to ensure our physical safety and regain pride in our heritage.

We need to get rid of the EU, ridicule the UN and starve it for funds. I’m not sure whether we need NATO, either, although I’m willing to debate that part. The American defense umbrella may no longer be sustainable when the US economy fails. Besides, it is laughable to think that the US military would “protect” native Europeans from Muslims. It is the official policy of both major US parties to support — no accelerate — the continued destruction of Europe, just like it is their policy to continue the destruction of their own country. Just because the EU is awful, which it is, doesn’t necessarily mean that the USA is good. The American political elites are champions of dangerous and dysfunctional ideologies at home and abroad. The current US President Obama has publicly pledged himself to combat opposition to Islam rather than Islam itself, which means that it is official US policy to spread Islamic law. Uncle Sam is Uncle Sharia, as we have recently seen demonstrated. If the Soviet Union was the Evil Empire then the USA is the Diversity Empire, committed to spreading Multiculturalism and genetic Communism around the world, especially to white majority countries.

US General Wesley Clark during the bombing against Serbia in 1999 said more or less explicitly that the war was undertaken to impose “diversity.” I don’t hate Americans is general but their elites are just as hostile as the EU elites, and they have bigger guns. When I see how Nidal Hasan was treated by the US military I don’t think I want these people involved in my affairs. They would probably say that native Euros are Nazis who oppress the poor Muslims. Then they would bomb us and say it is for our own good, just like they did to the Serbs. The United States will not survive this century. It will be split into several countries according to ethnic, racial and perhaps even ideological lines. There is no such thing as a universal nation. People want to live with their own kind. The only ones who are not allowed to do so are whites, and they are starting to get tired of this double standard. People of European origins are among the least ethnocentric people on the planet and are currently being penalized heavily for this. Self-preservation is a natural instinct for all living things down to plants and bacteria. It’s about time that whites reclaim the same right without apology. I am increasingly convinced that the developments we are witnessing are deliberate. The lies we are being served are virtually identical in every Western country. I’ve had some discussions about this with my friend Ohmyrus who thinks this is about a structural failure in our political system. I don’t necessarily disagree with that, but I also believe there is a planned long-term goal of breaking down all white majority nations to create a new global oligarchy. Anti-white ideologies are now taught in every Western university and were arguably elevated to national ideology in the USA with the election of Obama. I suspect this is because whites have historically had an unusually high emphasis on self-rule, rule by consent and power sharing, not to mention the fact that we ask too many questions. This is annoying to those who desire an authoritarian system with themselves on top. We need to be broken, culturally and demographically. This is why the elites desire mass immigration. The leading “Multicultural theorist” in my country, Professor Thomas Hylland Eriksen of the University of Oslo, said frankly that the most important thing to do now is “deconstructing the majority so thoroughly that it can never be called the majority again.” He is essentially calling for dismantling his own people and he knows that he can do so with total impunity.

Also, I suspect that the main reason why many others hate us is that European civilization has been so incomparably much more influential and accomplished than any other civilization on this planet that our existence makes them feel inferior. The only way they can stop feeling inferior is by eradicating us. A terribly politically incorrect thing to say, but that’s my view.

The Newest Phase of a Very Old War

Some people refer to the current war as the GWoT (Global War on Terror). Others call it WWIV (Norman Podhoretz). We at Gates of Vienna prefer to call it GIJ3W: The Great Islamic Jihad, Third Wave.

This conflict of cultures has endured for more than a millenium. The first wave began with the conquest of Mecca by Mohammed in 630 CE. It crested in Al Andalus (Moorish Spain) in 711, only receding in 1492 when Los Reyes Católicos entered Granada.

The second wave began when Osman raided Western Byzantium in 1299 and founded the Ottoman Empire. It crested during the reign of Süleyman I in the 16th century, and receded after the failure of the second siege of Vienna under Kara Mustafa in 1683.

From our perspective at the dawn of the 21st century it is hard to realize that a little more than three centuries ago the whole of Christian civilization was threatened. When the Turks stood at the Gates of Vienna it seemed that all of Europe would be overrun by the legions of the Prophet.

This war never ended. While many individual treaties were made between various states over the centuries, no truce was ever declared between Islam and the infidels, and no permanent peace was established (as General Gordon discovered at Khartoum in 1885).

So when did the Third Wave begin?

• Was it with the establishment of the Muslim Brotherhood in 1928 by Hasan al-Banna?
• Was it the Iranian Hostage Crisis in 1979?
• Or was it on September 11th, 2001?

When will the Third Wave crest? And when will it begin to recede?

The thesis of this blog is that, like it or not, we are in a religious war. We do not define the terms but we should take careful note of them. We are mistaken if we think the Enemy wants merely to kill us. Once again, Jihad offers two choices to the West: conversion or death. Jihad exists in order to annihilate unbelief. Christians, Jews, Hindus, atheists, or Wiccans, it is all the same to him.

Once again, our survival depends on our capacity to unite in a common cause against physical and cultural destruction.

Full disclosure: the authors are practicing (non-evangelical) Christians, staunch supporters of Israel and the Jews, and tolerant of all. Even those who don’t agree with us or with one another.

We Need A Revolution, Not A Movement

The elections of 2008 (and the early elections of 2010) produced two significant phenomena: the “Ron Paul Revolution,” and the “Tea Party Movement.” And, mark it down: both of them will have profound effects upon the upcoming November elections–and upon the 2012 elections as well. Call them what you want, however, America doesn’t need another movement; it needs a genuine revolution.

The Tea Party movement, while still a force with which to be contended, has already been diluted and compromised. The primary elections plainly reveal the reality of this fact. The high spots so far are the defeats of Arlen Specter in Pennsylvania and Bob Bennett in Utah. The low spots so far are the reelection of John McCain in Arizona and the election of Dan Coats in Indiana.

John McCain’s election, in particular, demonstrates how many conservatives and “revolutionaries” still don’t get it. If any State in the union should have an up-close-and-personal look at what we are up against, it would be the people of Arizona. After all, they are on the front lines in the fight of one of the most important battles currently being waged in our country: illegal immigration. And John McCain is one of the worst offenders in terms of facilitating and encouraging this illegal invasion. Yet the people of Arizona reelected McCain to the US Senate. (It would interesting to know how many illegal aliens voted for McCain, would it not?)

Then again, John McCain received the enthusiastic endorsement of former Alaska governor, Sarah Palin. This endorsement obviously brought McCain thousands of Tea Party votes that otherwise would have gone to his principal opponent, J.D. Hayworth. McCain is not the only Big-Government globalist neocon to receive Palin’s endorsement. Many of Palin’s endorsees are neocons; which leads to one of the biggest problems with any so-called conservative movement: allowing celebrity-type “conservatives” to become the de facto leaders and spokesmen for what should be a true grassroots, people-generated rebellion. Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck are the two biggest culprits in this regard.

Mark my words: Palin and Beck may see themselves as part of a conservative “movement,” but they want nothing to do with an old-fashioned, honest-to-God, Patrick Henry-style revolution. In fact, they are doing everything in their power to keep such a revolution from taking place.

This does not mean that Palin and Beck do not contribute some good things to freedom’s fight. They do. The problem is, for every good thing they contribute they counterbalance it by supporting establishment principals, such as John McCain and Newt Gingrich, and attacking non-establishment players and ideas, which serves only to keep the Big-Government power structure firmly ensconced in Washington, D.C.

Get real, folks, and start thinking for yourselves. Ask yourself why Fox News never (or hardly ever) invites non-establishment patriots to appear on their network. Why do you not see former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Paul Craig Roberts on Fox News? Why do you not see former Georgia congressman and Presidential candidate Bob Barr on Fox News? Why do you not see former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura on Fox News? Why do you not see former Director of the US Office of Economic Opportunity and Presidential candidate Howard Phillips on Fox News? Why do you not see Presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin on Fox News? The list is endless.

Fox News is not “fair and balanced.” It is as controlled and manipulated as any other media news network. The only thing it balances is the other networks’ infatuation with the Democrat Party, by promoting Republican candidates and ideas. What it does not do is educate and inform the American people with the truth as to what both major parties are doing to destroy our country. But remember, Fox News is owned by Keith Rupert Murdoch, the same man who helped finance Hillary Clinton’s campaign for the US Senate, and who is as much of a globalist as anyone in Washington, D.C., or New York City.

As an aside, and speaking of Hillary Rodham, I predict that she will replace Vice President Joe Biden BEFORE the 2012 elections. I’ve said that in private for many weeks, and now say it in this column–remember, you heard it here. The Clinton-Bush Crime Syndicate (CBCS) needs Hillary in the White House badly, and Obama has readily accepted a subservient role in the criminal affairs of CBCS (for very profitable reasons, no doubt). And with the CBCS bosses pretty much running things at the White House (they don’t worry about domestic or social issues, providing that these do not interfere with their international criminal activities), is it any wonder that Obama has already taken more vacations than most Presidents take during an entire term?

And it is the influence of globalists and neocons upon national and international politics that the likes of Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck simply do not get–or do not want to get. And because many Tea Partiers are so enamored with these two (and allow them to do much of their thinking for them), they remain clueless as well.

Ladies and gentlemen, America is in the throes of socialist and Marxist political upheaval. The curtain could fall at any time. The American people need to wake up to this truism: a “conservative” movement–even a conservative Tea Party movement–will not save us. The only thing that will save us is an old-fashioned State revolt.

Arizona had the opportunity to become a modern-day version of 1775 Massachusetts. But Arizona has probably forfeited that leadership role by 1) reelecting John McCain, and 2) being willing to allow federal courts to dictate law to a sovereign State. Instead of taking its case to the federal courts, Arizona should simply tell the federal government that it will enforce its own State laws (including the newly enacted anti-illegal immigration law) regardless of what any federal court says or doesn’t say. At some point, that is exactly what some State (or group of states) in this union is going to have to do, or liberty will be forever lost.

As long as freedom lovers are content to remain satisfied with the status quo by allowing party politics and media celebrities to dominate their efforts, there will be no stopping this socialist avalanche that is crashing down upon us. The Tea Party movement of 2010 (if left free of Big-Government neocons) could certainly translate into positive developments this November; that is for sure. A revival of the “Ron Paul Revolution” in 2012 could also make a significant contribution, but it is going to take a State revolution to seal the deal. I, for one, am ready.

Thank you for the continued press to all of the liberals and anti-white racists who continue to ingrain my name into the minds of white voters leading up to the November general election. When they go into the privacy of the voting booth, without the politically-correct thought police looking over their shoulders, white Arkansas voters can decide for themselves whether whites need a vocal advocate for our own interests, just as other groups have.
A previous writer stated, “I think it is fair to say that modern democracy has existed since 1776. Coincidentally, the United States, an obvious multiracial democracy, has existed for exactly as long.” The obvious intent is to imply that our Founding Fathers established a democracy, which they did not. The United States is a Constitutional Republic. Of course, based on their own stated intent, the Founding Fathers did not intend our nation to be multiracial either, as Thomas Jefferson clearly stated when he wrote: “Nothing is more certainly written in the book of fate than that these people are to be free. Nor is it less certain that the two races, equally free, cannot live in the same government. Nature, habit, opinion has drawn indelible lines of distinction between them.” None of the Founding Fathers intended the United States to be a democracy, much less a multiracial one.
My enemies promote uncontrolled immigration and amnesty for the invaders already here. They support homosexual marriage and abortion. They are in favor of gun control and the brainwashing of our children against the values which made America strong.
As to the others who keep calling my home harassing and cursing, or try to use censorship as varied as social networking sites and the physical removal of my campaign signs to silence Arkansas voters, ya’ll just continue to spell my name right, and the good voters of Arkansas can and will speak Nov. 2.

Breakup Of U.S. Is Inevitable

People all over America are discussing freedom’s future. In short, they are worried. In fact, many are actually talking about State secession. In coffee shops and cafes, and around dining room tables, millions of people are speaking favorably of states breaking away from the union. Not since the turn of the twentieth century have this many people thought (and spoken) this favorably about the prospect of a State (or group of states) exiting the union. In my mind, this is a good thing.

Even many of those who oppose the prospect of secession understand the increasing tyrannical nature of the current central government in Washington, D.C., and that something must be done about it.

The Merriam-Webster online dictionary defines tyranny as “1: oppressive power . . . 2: a government in which absolute power is vested in a single ruler . . . 3: a rigorous condition imposed by some outside agency or force . . . 4: a tyrannical act.”

Even a casual observer would have to conclude that most of the actions proceeding forth from DC today match at least Webster’s 1st and 3rd definitions of tyranny. Besides, who would argue the advantage of the tyranny of an oligarchy over the tyranny of a monarchy? A tyranny of many cannot be distinguished from a tyranny of one in most cases–especially not by those poor souls who are at the point of the spear of Government’s cruelties.

The fact is, there is collusion between Big Government and Big Business (as each feeds and profits off the other) to strip the American people of their God-given liberties. Without a shadow of a doubt, had America’s Founding Fathers not sagaciously cemented the Second Amendment into the US Constitution, the Jackboots would have marched over us years ago.

That freedom-loving people are reaching a point of frustration–and even fury–is quite understandable. And State secession is, very properly, the last best option for freedomists to maintain fidelity to the principles of liberty. All of America’s founders understood this–all of them! And millions of modern-day American patriots are just now beginning to become reacquainted with this great, historic doctrine.

However, whether one subscribes to the doctrine of secession or not is quite immaterial. The breakup of the US is inevitable! Short of another Great Awakening, nothing can stop it. And given the spiritual deadness of most American churches these days, the prospect of a modern-day national revival seems remote at best.

It is a historical fact that no empire can sustain itself. And America is more and more becoming a global empire. For the sake of simplicity, I ask readers to ponder this question: How can one sustain a global economy without global government to manage and control it? Answer: One can’t.

This is why elitists in politics, economics, and the military have been calling for global government for decades. People such as George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Tony Blair, Walter Cronkite, Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali, David Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger, Gideon Rachman, Warren Christopher, Walt Rostow, Richard Gardner, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Robert Pastor, et al. Furthermore, organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the Bilderbergers, and the Trilateral Commission are constantly promoting regional or global unification. Moreover, institutions such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, the World Trade Organization (WTO), and, of course, the United Nations (UN) all contribute to the escalation of globalism.

Therefore, it is safe to say that, for the most part, America’s foreign policy is (and has been) controlled and manipulated by globalists. Accordingly, America’s armed forces are used more and more as international policemen to patrol the streets of the world on behalf of this international cabal of merchants and politicians. The cover for this is the mantra of fighting an international “war on terrorism.” But the real agenda is, keeping our troops fighting in perpetual war so that they might be available to the globalists at the UN and US State Department (not to mention countless “off the books” operations being run by the CIA and a host of other agencies) for the purpose of maintaining the “global economy” (and only God knows how many illegal enterprises).

Perpetual war also allows the Machiavellians who desire to turn America into a police state to increasingly encroach upon constitutionally protected liberties by keeping the populace in a perpetual state of fear. After all, as long as our troops are “over there” fighting (and making) enemies, we will always need Big Brother to keep us safe “over here.” And the only way he can do that is by putting us all in cages; but hey, it’s for our own good, right?

And, of course, this new “global force for good” must itself be reshaped into an image compatible with the political correctness of the New World Order. Hence, more and more women are being placed in combat units. In fact, females are now the fastest growing group of enlistees within the US armed forces. And for the first time in US history, women are now approved to serve aboard submarines. (I am sure submariners’ wives are thrilled about this!)

“How does flooding the US military with women fit into the scheme of the globalists?” you ask. Simple. By reducing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our military forces, it requires them to be part of a “coalition” force. Come on, folks, figure it out: our troops are always part of some sort of global “coalition” army. They always serve in concert with NATO, or the UN, or at the behest of some other global entity.

And please, I don’t need readers to write me with great indignation, calling me “sexist.” Get real! If women can serve in combat equally with men, why not have an all-female combat infantry division? How about an all-female tank division? Let’s have an all-female Navy warship! What about an all-female Navy SEAL team or Army Special Forces team? If, then, women are inefficient in combat as a unit, they are equally inefficient in combat individually. Wise up, people! It is critical to the globalists controlling Washington politics that our military be integrated with foreign entities. Allowing the weaker vessels to dilute the warrior-strength of our combat units helps to accomplish this in spades!

Folks, this new American empire is not sustainable. Mark it down: the American empire will follow every other notable empire of antiquity and collapse under its own weight. The signs are already ubiquitous.

In its attempt to entice illegal aliens (a necessary component to the globalization of America) by providing them with almost complete and universal welfare benefits, the Empire has saddled the states with a monstrous debt and has planted the seeds for its own fragmentation.

The American Southwest is a boiling caldron. Revolutionaries, violent criminal gangs, agitators, drug runners, human traffickers, and agent provocateurs–all loyal to Mexico–have been allowed to freely unleash their anti-American vitriol to the point that, in desperation, the State of Arizona is now trying to fight back. It is probably too little too late, however. Both the central government in Washington, D.C., and the national news media are sympathetic to the cause of La Raza. Look at how those brave legislators and governor in Arizona have been lampooned by the national press corps.

The call for the “reconquista” of America’s great Southwest will continue to escalate. It is all part of the globalists’ plan to regionalize the United States. The template is already in place. CFR’s Robert Pastor has already done the legwork. The North American Community (or Union) is past the drawing table stage; it is now being implemented. The NAFTA superhighway is being built and La Raza has been unleashed on the frontier. It’s only a matter of time.

Furthermore, take a look at the staggering debt that this government in Washington, D.C., has burdened the American people with. To talk numbers is meaningless: they total more than we can possibly begin to fathom. These numbers shock sensibilities and strain comprehension. In this regard, toss away all notions of partisan politics. Both major parties in DC have forever plunged our children and grandchildren’s future into a chasm of indebtedness so deep that it can never be recovered. Never!

Yet again, perpetual war has accomplished its purpose: unmitigated debt has allowed international bankers to print and loan vast sums of paper money that can be used to further their dreams of a global economy, complete with a mutually palatable system of burgeoning global governance.

I say again, the American empire is not sustainable; the breakup of the United States is inevitable. It is only a matter of time. The real question is not IF the US will breakup, but WHEN and HOW?

Globalists are already planning America’s breakup. Indeed, their plans for the future global economy DEMAND that America fracture. So, all of those who want to parade around and pontificate about the “unconstitutionality” and “impracticality” of secession can do so to their hearts’ content. It changes nothing. The breakup is coming.

What is yet to be seen, of course, is if there will be enough states (the last vanguards of liberty) with the foresight to recognize the rise of tyranny and globalism as it approaches, and muster the courage and fortitude to do what principled patriots and lovers of liberty have always done: draw their line in the sand for freedom. Call it what you will; debate the definitions and language all you like; it all comes down to the same thing: either men fight for freedom and independence or they allow themselves and their children to be sold into slavery. At some point in the future (how far in the future, no one knows), we Americans will, once again, have to face that decision.

In the meantime, keep talking about freedom around your coffee tables; keep writing about freedom in your books and columns; keep praying about freedom in your churches and closets; keep dreaming about freedom in your hearts and minds. Real freedom–where a man can be left alone; where a man can keep what he earns; where a man can make his own choices; where a man’s property is his own; where harassing agents of an oppressive central government are nowhere to be found; where a man doesn’t have to sell his soul in order to sell his wares; where a man’s worship of God is not subject to political correctness (or the IRS); and where a man can actually exchange commerce and correspondence without the prying eyes of Big Brother–is worth any price. ANY PRICE!

As Barry Goldwater said, “Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice.” Amen! And if the pursuit of freedom requires the extremism of secession, I say, LET IT COME!

White American Identity Politics

The American political arena and mainstream media is rigged against White American solidarity. Almost every single race or ethnicity has a political organization to serve its specific racial or ethnic interests. The glaring exception is a mainstream-credited or nationally-recognized political group dedicated to White American interests. There are groups dedicated to White advocacy, but they are invariably plagued by accusations of “extremism” or “hate” or “bigotry.”

The Preamble to the United States Constitution lists one of its purposes as to “secure the blessing of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.” Perhaps this explicit dedication to the interests of the White founding stock means that no White advocacy groups are needed. Maybe the explicit mandate of the Constitution demands the protection of liberty for the posterity of the White race, so White advocacy groups are superfluous. Until the middle of the twentieth century, this view might hold water. In light of the onslaught of anti-White propaganda, legislation, indoctrination, and social policy that has since followed, this explanation is a recipe for White political suicide.

Under oppressive legislation, a hostile media, and an anti-White educational system, the interests of White people have been subverted in favor of a cacophony of minority voices, all of which are alien to the original aims of the Founding Fathers. White Americans can no longer rest assured that the Constitution means what it says, or that the United States exists to preserve the interests of its White founding stock and their progeny. Instead, White Americans must organize specifically and purposefully on racial grounds, realizing that all other groups are slowly destroying each liberty and privilege that White Americans used to take for granted.

White Americans have no choice but to participate in racial identity politics. If White Americans remain unorganized and without a unified voice of advocacy, they will eventually succumb to being nothing more than demoralized tax-producers for the growing entitlement class. Even worse, White Americans will face a perfect storm of skyrocketing entitlements, smoldering racial grievances, and violent uprisings emanating from the non-White racial groups. This will not be a safe or secure future for White Americans. Look to the fates of Whites in the formerly productive countries of South Africa or Zimbabwe for examples of what happens when Whites are subject to a ruling majority of non-Whites. South Africa used to be the jewel of Africa. Rhodesia (the predecessor to the failed state of Zimbabwe) was the breadbasket of Africa, exporting food to its neighbors. Now, South Africa and Zimbabwe are the rape and murder capitols of the world, and Zimbabwe cannot even feed itself, let alone its neighbors. More than five thousand Whites have been murdered since the transition to a black government in South Africa, and the numbers of rapes and robberies are too many to accurately list. American Whites need to take decisive and organized political action before they become a hated minority in their own nation.

Latinos, Hispanics, and mestizos– whatever the gatekeepers of morality decide to call them– are free to organize, protest, and advance political goals strictly on the basis of race or ethnicity. Consider some of the mission statements of these advocacy groups: The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is busy “[a]dvancing the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, health, and civil rights of the Hispanic population in the United States.” The National Council of La Raza “is the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States” and “works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans.” Note that the translation of “la raza” into English is “the race.”

Jews are free to advocate specifically and exclusively for other Jewish people. Among other goals, the Anti-Defamation League “defends the security of Israel and Jews worldwide.” The American Jewish Congress is “organized to defend Jewish interests at home and abroad through public policy advocacy– using diplomacy, legislation and the courts.” Similarly, Asians are free to rally around race. The Asian American Justice Center exists “to advance civil and human rights for Asian Americans.” Blacks have a multitude of race-based advocacy groups. A special group for black practitioners exists for almost every professional occupation. Furthermore, the Congressional Black Caucus exists as an exclusively black organization and is comprised of exclusively black Congressmen advancing exclusively black interests.

In fact, all “people of color” (meaning all non-White people) have an implicit license to politically organize according to racial identity. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) states: “The NAACP’s principal objective is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of minority group citizens of United States.” Blacks, Jews, Asians, Hispanics, “people of color”– all of these groups advocate and organize on the basis of race or ethnicity. Yet White Americans may do no such thing without an onslaught of defamatory remarks, negative press coverage, and accusations of “hate” or “extremism.”

The knee-jerk negative reaction to a White identity organization is not natural. Suspicion regarding an explicitly White political group is the product of intense conditioning from a very young age. The origin and methodology of this conditioning is too complicated to adequately explain herein, but much of it stems from public education, globalist elites, and the corporate media. In short, from a very young age, White Americans are taught that love and admiration for the race and ethnicity of non-Whites is a healthy and sociable trait, but love and admiration for Whites by Whites is strictly forbidden. White Americans are conditioned to scorn their own heritage and to fawn over all other races. According to the ruling orthodoxy, admiration of non-Whites is tolerance and love but admiration of Whites is hate and bigotry.

No other group in America is taught or conditioned to have the same amount of self-sacrificial aims or self-loathing emotions. In fact, most other ethnic groups are encouraged to have a deep and profound sense of heritage and ethnic identity. Perversely, Whites are expected to enthusiastically jump on the non-White bandwagon while abandoning their own families. Whites must celebrate the achievements of every other race and ethnicity. Only Whites are forbidden from celebrating their own extended family, heritage, and history. Any sense of pride or identity stemming from a genetic origin must only be experienced vicariously for White Americans. An entire month has been dedicated to a celebration of the contributions to high culture, technology, art, philosophy, and civilization produced by black Americans. If someone protests that an entire month seems like immense favoritism towards blacks, then calls of “racism” are certain. Any opposition to the politically correct viewpoint is met with swift “justice” and the punishment is summary social execution.

The mere accusation of “racism” is enough to ruin a career, sink a political campaign, cancel an entertainment show, or alienate an individual. Perhaps this is a better explanation for the dearth of White political groups. Most of the nonsensical “truths” that modern Americans are forced to swallow are nothing more than shibboleths. If the shibboleth is met with anything other than the proper response, the “outsider” has been successfully identified, and swift countermeasures will be undertaken.

Instead of American spies inside Germany’s Third Reich being discovered by holding up the pointer, middle, and ring fingers to signify the number three, American citizens within the border are identified as racist outcasts by merely questioning the dubious notion that “diversity is our greatest strength.” Instead of asking a gringo to pronounce a Spanish word with a rolling ‘r’, ask the sociology professor who is up for tenure about her thoughts about the long-term viability of an increasingly diverse America. She had better work on her “accent” and toe the party line if she wants to have a successful academic career. Otherwise, she may infect future legions with the disease of critical thought, healthy dissent, or individuality. Heaven forbid, she may even fail in her greatest duty– to indoctrinate her pupils with the glorious fonts of wisdom which are Political Correctness and Tolerance for Diversity. Joseph Goebbels would be proud of this efficient method for political cleansing. A Soviet apparatchik would shriek with joy at the simplicity of this plan for purging the undesirables from the New Plan for Humanity.

As non-White Americans are free to create political organizations for the sole purpose of advancing the interests of a specific ethnicity, and White Americans are forbidden to do so, non-Whites enjoy fundamental rights and benefits which are denied to Whites. The logical implications of these thoughts and observations are non-controversial, but the act of drawing attention to it is definitely controversial. It might even be . . . “racist.”

As White Americans are prevented from organizing, thinking, or acting in a unified manner, and yet all other non-White groups are permitted and encouraged to do so, White Americans are at a distinct political disadvantage. Social pressure, media influence, legislation, and educational indoctrination combine to influence Whites against organizing or even thinking on the basis of race. This injustice must not stand. White Americans must organize to advance their own interests or they will fade into a dispossessed minority in the nation their forefathers carved from the unforgiving wilderness. White Americans must regain the political power they have implicitly relinquished. White Americans need not fear their own shadows any longer. Instead, White Americans must take back the reins and restore the conditions that made the United States of America into an exemplary society and a first-rate civilization.

Restoring Honor: Glenn Beck and Implicit White Nationalism

On August 28, 1963, Martin Luther King, Jr. led a crowd of 250,000 to the Lincoln Memorial in the “March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.” It was there in the Summer of 1963 that King gave his iconic “I Have a Dream” speech.

In 1963, 75% to 80% of King’s audience was black. White liberals rounded out the other 20% who gathered on the National Mall. The March on Washington was the symbolic highwater mark of the Civil Rights Movement.

The television cameras were rolling that hot summer day. King’s sweet words about a utopian future of racial harmony plucked at the heartstrings of White America. The vision he articulated there changed the mindset of a generation.

It laid the foundation for half a century of drift toward the progressive ideal of race relations. In 2008, the cultural legacy of the Civil Rights Movement was powerful enough to send Barack Obama to the White House.

America’s first black president was widely touted in the mainstream media as the fulfillment of the civil rights dream articulated at the Lincoln Memorial in 1963. If Martin Luther King, Jr. were alive today, he would be the first to agree.

Restoring Honor

On August 28, 2010, Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin led a roaring crowd of 300,000 to 500,000 to the Lincoln Memorial at the “Restoring Honor” rally. The audience that gathered on the National Mall was told the America of the Founding Fathers had been “lost” and needed to be “restored.”

Now it is time to reverse course.

In 2010, 90% of Glenn Beck’s audience was White and conservative. The blacks, Jews, and White liberals who marched with Martin Luther King assembled in a smaller counter demonstration led by the Rev. Al Sharpton.

You could see the air deflating from their balloon.

As in 1963, the television cameras were rolling. This time around it was Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin pulling at the heartstrings of White America on that symbolic spot with soaring rhetoric about religion, patriotism, and military service.

Americans had lost their way. They needed to turn their eyes to God. It was all a highly choreographed display of White America’s emerging identity crisis.

A Movement Emerges

“Restoring Honor” eliminated any lingering doubt that may have existed that the Tea Party was an ephemeral phenomenon that was already in retreat. It turned out to be the largest such gathering to date.

The overt religiosity of the rally was also a departure from previous Tea Party events. It showed that the depth and breadth of the alienation felt in White America extends far beyond the fiscal issues that served as the earliest rallying cry against the Obama administration.

This can be seen in states like Tennessee where less than 25% of voters are affiliated with the Tea Party, but over 70% support Arizona-style immigration reform. The Tea Party is the spearhead of a far larger White backlash against the political class that controls the federal government.

Unfashionable Observations

Glenn Beck has done us a service here. Undoubtedly, “Restoring Honor” will be attacked in some circles for its kosher rhetorical concessions to political correctness. This is missing the forest for the trees.

The goal posts have been moved in several critical ways:

1.) White Americans are starting to think of themselves as “outsiders” ruled by “insiders” – the arrogant liberal elite that Barack Obama symbolizes. This is a major prerequisite of group identity, consciousness, and rebellion.

2.) Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin have succeeded in politicizing millions of White Americans who were formerly apolitical. Sheer apathy has always been one of the biggest obstacles to the formation of White racial consciousness.

Joe Six Pack has progressed from tuning out politics altogether to growing concerned about the direction of the country. Simply getting him to put down the beer and cheez-whiz, turn off the football game, and get off the La-Z-Boy for a moment to think about the future is in itself a huge accomplishment.

3.) White Americans are starting to believe that America has been hijacked and perverted by an alien elite. This isn’t the whole truth, but it is a tantalizing enough clue to point curious people in the right direction.

4.) White Americans have been told they are justified in “taking our country back.” This is a nationalist claim. If it is our country, we are entitled to it. The rightful heirs can take it back from the interlopers.

Glenn Beck’s Implicit White Nationalism

Fifty years of brainwashing isn’t going to be cast off in a day. If we have any hope of influencing our peers, we must have a realistic attitude and take as our starting point where ordinary White Americans find themselves on the political spectrum.

Judging by the “Restoring Honor” turnout, Glenn Beck seems to be striking the right chord in that respect. He can now speak with authority for the White majority. Unlike the rhetorical radicals, he has tailored his message to get their attention.

Beck is now in a position to lead the White majority from George W. Bush-style “compassionate conservatism” to Sarah Palin-style “implicit White Nationalism”; from apathy to engagement; from flag waving nationalist insider status to Don’t Tread on Me outsider status; from reform to revolution.

Should he choose to do so.

Whatever happens, the polarized political environment that Glenn Beck is contributing to works in our favor, intentionally or unintentionally. Such an enormous crowd of angry White people hardly bodes well for America’s ruling class.

It can be interpreted as a sign of things to come.

“Do We Look Racist?”

And these efforts win them no points with leftists. The liberals at Pandagon, where I found this photo, are tearing these guys apart for being racist–who but a racist would carry around a sign asking “Do We Look Racist?”

That is one of the most pathetic sights I’ve seen. But how can we blame them? The whole society, or at least the right half of the society, sends out the message that this is the way for whites to behave. George W. Bush would literally say, “How can I be a racist, since Condi, my National Security Advisor / Secretary of State, is black?”, while Condi, as clueless, tone-deaf, and lacking in taste as her boss, participated in the idiocy. And in addition to being pathetic and weak from a conservative point of view, these eagerly non-racist whites, whether Bush or the white men in the photo, don’t see how offensive it is from a liberal or just a human point of view—how condescending it is to use a black person as a prop to demonstrate one’s own virtue. So these whites degrade both their own dignity and that of the black people whom they treat as badges, while the blacks who willingly join in the charade, whether Condoleezza Rice or the black man in the photo, are blind or indifferent to how they are degrading their own dignity. That’s what right-liberalism does to people–it takes away their humanity and makes them see themselves as symbolic abstractions.

The Coming Bailout-Crash

Barack Obama is caught in a financial Catch 22.

On the one hand, his party’s fall re-election prospects rest on the stock market consolidating its gains since March 2009 (Dow 10,000), if not rising. Since his first day in office, the president has announced that the country is experiencing a great economic “recovery,” and any serious downturn in the major indices would give middle- and upper-class Americans whiplash and be politically devastating .

On the other hand, in order to remain viable, the Treasury Department needs an equities collapse — and probably not just a slow bleed but a dramatic crash — in order to herd millions of investors into the U.S. dollar and government debt.

The will of the Treasury will prevail, and the president and his party will be left high and dry. Furthermore, the crash will greatly empower the Treasury and federal government … for a time.

I’m certainly not the first to claim that the governments can benefit from an economic downturn, though this notion isn’t always theorized properly. Recently, I’ve encountered a number of people, types who listen to talk radio and root on the Tea Parties, who are convinced that Obama isn’t just incompetent and misguided but diabolical. According to this view, Obama is deliberately pursuing bad economic policies in order to crash the markets and bankrupt citizens; in the wake of the devastation, with Americans reeling, he’ll install full-out socialism. Rahm Emmanuel’s famous line about “never letting a good crisis go to waste” is cited as the moment when the wicked Democrats’ mask began to slip…

Both Mark Levin and Glenn Beck have traced Obama’s economic policies back to the infamous “Cloward-Piven strategy,” a scheme named after two tenured leftists who, writing in The Nation in the mid-‘60s, proposed that community organizers purposely overload New York’s public welfare rolls with immigrants, bums, and layabouts in order to bring on a municipal funding crisis. Presumably, this would force the federal government to enact a “guaranteed national income.”

This vision of Obama as “Icebreaker of Revolution” is highly implausible on a number of levels, the foremost being political. As mentioned above, Obama has bet his career on the 2009 Stimulus “working”; moreover, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, acting as the government’s “economic expert,” penned a New York Times op-ed with the Onion-esque title “Welcome to the Recovery.” (The media — particularly the financial media, which can’t imagine living in a world without an equities bull market — has lapped it all up.)   The “recovery” might be fallacious, but Obama has been making the case nonetheless. The Crash of 2008 sealed John McCain’s fate, and Obama surely doesn’t want to face something similar. (Generally speaking, political regimes prefer it when voters are content, passive, and hopeful for the future, not mad and disillusioned.)

Moreover, as distressing as this might sound to people who rely on common sense, the idea that the government can do good things for Americans through artificially low interest rates, money printing, and deficit spending is taken seriously by academic economists. To say that Obama is consciously trying to wreck the economy is to imply that he secretly reads F. A. Hayek in his spare time, agrees with his theories, and is extending unemployment insurance out of pure malice. The simpler answer is that Obama, and everyone surrounding him, think that these kinds of policies will actually work.

The “Obama as diabolical” theory is implausible on another level as well, one that brings us to the reason that I believe the Treasury desires — and requires — an equities crash.

Leftists in the mode of Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven generally believe that socialism is a matter of will power: in their view, America hasn’t eliminated poverty because it hasn’t wanted to hard enough, or because the masses are deluded by religion, or because evil rich corporations are allowed too much influence in political campaigns. What’s overlooked is that wealth and production must be created before they are redistributed; and, to the point of this article, the government must be funded before it can do anything.

The federal government funds itself through taxation and the selling of Treasury bills, notes, and bonds. (It doesn’t necessarily need to issue debt, of course, but it has funded itself thusly for as long as anyone can remember.)

Over the past twenty years, especially the past decade, the market for such “sovereign debt” instruments has been nothing short of stellar.

(In the bond market, when the yield line slopes downward, that’s good.)

Demand for bonds, particularly from foreigners, has steadily increased; interest rates have steadily fallen. Whatever investors might think of the future of the U.S. economy, they apparently expect great stability in the U.S. dollar and inflation to stay well under four percent over the next 30 years.

In the early ‘90s, Bill Clinton’s political strategist James Carville quipped that he wanted to be reincarnated as the bond market, so incredulous was he at the power investors had over governments that operated on deficits. If demand for U.S. bonds collapsed, and interest rates soared, healthcare initiatives, say, or Washington’s massive overseas empire would swiftly evaporate. An enticing prospect…

As is often the case with such things, the frothy bond market has been a blessing and a curse, for over the past quarter century, Washington has become the greatest (if that’s the word) debtor in the history of mankind. In brief, the well know figure of 13 trillion in debt, owed mostly to thrifty and productive Asians, is only the tip of the iceberg; unfunded liabilities, especially Social Security, Medicare, and unending military commitments, bring the number upwards of 70 trillion. Add to this sum future bailouts of banks and state pension funds, and total liabilities likely approach 100 trillion!

Whatever the number, Washington’s debts can never be repaid. They grossly exceed global GDP and could not be settled on their current schedules if every cent of every corporation’s profits and every individual’s income were confiscated. Some might dream of endlessly turning over U.S. debt — taking on new debt to pay the interest on the old, ad infinitum – but such Ponzi financing always reaches its breaking point.

Washington essentially has two choices: it can renege on its debt and entitlements to its citizens (highly unlikely, in my mind, for a number of reasons) or it can monetization both (that is, print money to pay off debts.)

King Philip II of Spain owed his creditors silver ducats, the current Greek government, Euros; when faced with national insolvency and uncontainable debts, both reneged and restructured. The U.S. government, on the other hand, pays its obligations in currency that itself creates a virtually no cost. The temptation to print is nearly impossible to resist.

The force — the only one, really — preventing Washington from going down this course is the bond market. If investors, especially the big ones like China and Japan, got the inkling that Washington were going to print its debt away (and thus cause massive inflation), then demand for bills, notes, and bonds would collapse and interest rates, soar. The government, and the currency underlying it, would deconstruct.

This perilous situation is heightened by the fact that, as of this writing, around a quarter (20-30 percent) of U.S. debt is in short-term Treasury bills, which mature in less than one year. (Clinton’s Treasury Robert Rubin (formerly of Goldman Sachs) can lay claim to developing this financing arrangement, which came to bear his name.) If the market expects monetization, then in order for the Treasury to roll its debt over, interest rates would have to be increased every three months. A classic Vicious Cycle. And rates wouldn’t actually have to go to stratospheric levels for Washington to be doomed. If they simply returned to where they were in, say, 1980, the Treasury would pay close to a trillion each year just to service its debt.

The prospects for monetization would be much improved, however, if the Treasury could lock investors into long-term Treasury debt, bonds that don’t mature for decades and which investors would have a difficult time exiting from.

This is where the equities crash comes in.

The Crash of 2008 was notable not only for the steep decline in stocks and commodities, but the dramatic increase in the demand for “cash” — that is, liquidity in the form of the U.S. dollar as well as Treasury debt of all sorts. Visible in the graph above, in the gloomy days of November, long-term interest dipped below 1 percent — short-terms yields went, absurdly, negative! Investors were hurdling headlong into Treasuries.

The Crash of 2008, along with the two years of “deflation” that has followed, has amounted to the Great Treasury bailout. The department’s interest payments were reduced by billions, the prices of its issuances pushed to excessive levels, and investors who would have otherwise put their money into productive enterprises, flocked to U.S debt.  Best of all, this “bailout” was enacted without anyone objecting or Treasury officials having to seek the approval of Congress.

But it wasn’t nearly enough.

I take the view that equities are (over)due for a major correction regardless of what happens in the bond market. What’s at issue here is that the Treasury Department desires another crash, requires one even, so that enough investors will get spooked and again herd themselves into the “safe haven” of long-term government debt.

Later on, more authoritarian measure might be pursued, such as government’s “guaranteeing” of the two to three trillion sitting in Americans’ 401ks accounts — and billions more in IRAs and state pensions — by converting them into “safe” federal annuities.

What’s important is that the lemmings get locked into long-term government debt so the Federal Reserve can begin to print — and print and print and print — away federal obligations.

Crash or not, investors seemed to be headed that way anyway. The New York Times recently reported that investors have removed some 33 billion from domestic mutual funds, the majority of the money going into “low risk” bond funds. As with the dot.com and housing bubbles, whenever retail investors become certain that they’ve found a “sure thing,” it’s time to run for cover.

One would think that a blogger at SF Weekly would be well disposed to locals protesting a movie that exalts populist racial violence and presents crude stereotypes of their ethnic group. But not, of course, when the protestors are White (in this case, AltRight’s friend Andrew Yeoman). That doesn’t fit the script.

A group of white nationalists will protest the new Robert Rodriguez movie Machete — which depicts a Mexican renegade attempting to assassinate an anti-immigrant senator played by Robert DeNiro — at Bay Area cinemas this week. This gets even more interesting: The protesters will show up “armed” with machetes. Jessica Alba and Lindsay Lohan, beware.

Frequent readers of this site may recall the Bay Area National Anarchists — BANA for short — the white nationalist group that showed up at the May Day immigration reform rally at Civic Center Plaza to instead show support of the Arizona “papers please” SB 1070 immigration law. BANA founder Andrew Yeoman and two other members were allegedly beaten while leaving the rally by black bloc anarchists, two of whom are now charged with misdemeanor assault.

BANA is also known for showing up to protest the Folsom Street Fair. But they will be doing a warmup act from Friday to Sunday at movie theaters showing the slasher film in the city, North Bay and East Bay, Yeoman says, “along with like-minded individuals and grassroots organizations nationwide.” He even started a Facebook page to promote the protest.

“We feel that this is an explicit threat to white folks,” Yeoman wrote on the far-right blog Occidental Dissent, “and that it is necessary to send a message to moviegoers and the producers of this film that threatening people because they happen to be white is unacceptable.”

Ms. Smiley treats all this as ridiculous or beneath her (the story is captioned “The nationalist doth protest too much, methinks…”). The thing is, despite a cleaned-up trailer, Machete is very much about an angry Mexican taking his revenge, and leading a violent Latino uprising, against Perfidious Albion. According to Alex Jones, who was leaked a script, Machete includes scenes of gringos crucifying Mexican Catholic priests and Mestizo mobs worshipping Machete as their savior.

It’s worth noting that Machete was produced, in part, with tax-payer funds, via the Texas Film Commission, which operates out of Gov. Rick Perry’s office. Lest Texas Whites subsidize their own slaughter, let’s hope that the scenes depicted in Machete remain on celluloid.

STOP MACHETE!

On Friday evening September 3rd, we will be protesting the release of the film Machete. This film is an explicitly anti-white blood-bath that encourages Latinos to attack, maim, and kill whites with impunity.

We feel that this is an explicit threat to white folks and that it is necessary to send a message to moviegoers and the producers of this film that threatening people because they happen to be white is unacceptable.

I have attached a flyer produced for this action and have started a facebook group at www.bit.ly/stop_machete I would encourage you to join and network with others so that you can have a bigger impact where you live.

Please let me know if you are available for the protest on Friday, we are expecting heavy media interest in this action. If you get involved in your local community do not interfere with anyone walking into the theaters—do not threaten them or anything, even jokingly.  I at least will be protesting this film all weekend.

An Acid Test: Why the Bad Guys Win in Our World

In movies, the antagonist never has a sympathetic motive to justify their perfidious actions and villainy. They epitomize evil and they must be stopped. A good film (or story) requires equilibrium though, so the criminal must have a protagonist to battle who will ultimately vanquish them into perdition.

We all love happy endings and novels, movies, and myths provide us with this required denouement, the hero conquering all odds and defeating his mortal enemy. Cue triumphant, orchestral music and end credits.

The real world is far different than the stories one reads and watches. All around us are real life incidents of the scoundrel, the criminal and the thug. Absent are the heroes, those predisposed to eradicating evil and fighting its every manifestation.

The state of our world has never been more thoroughly analyzed than in the film Last Action Hero. In the movie, a magic ticket has allowed characters from film to enter into our world. Whereas the bad guy is always stopped in movies, the villain points out the opposite occurs in our world:

Benedict: Gentlemen. Since you are about to die anyway, I may as well tell you the entire plot. Think of villains Jack. You want Dracula? Dra-cool-la? Hang on
[takes out the ticket]
Benedict: , I’ll fetch him. Dracula? Huh. I can get King Kong! We’ll have a nightmare with Freddy Krueger, have a surprise party for Adolf Hitler, Hannibal Lecter can do the catering, and then we’ll have christening for Rosemary’s Baby! All I have to do is snap my fingers and they’ll be here. They’re lining up to get here, and do you know why Jack? Should I tell you why? Hmm? Because here, in this world, the bad guys can win!

Recall the Joker in the 1989 version of Batman: Using his knowledge of chemicals, he decides to disfigure women with acid in an insane plan to reinvent the definition of beauty.

His plan is ultimately foiled. In the real world though, the bad guys win:

A 28-year-old woman severely burned when a stranger threw an acid-like liquid in her face was listed in serious condition in a Oregon hospital.

Bethany Storro, of Vancouver, Wash., was getting something out of her car in downtown Vancouver when the attack happened Monday evening, her mother Nancy Neuwelt told The Oregonian.

Neuwelt said a young woman walked up to her daughter, said: “Hey pretty girl, do you want to drink this?” and tossed a cup of liquid in Storro’s face.

“I’m a nice girl and I don’t know why this happened,” Storro, 28, said Tuesday in her hospital room in the Oregon Burn Center at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, The Columbian newspaper reported….

Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said doctors and authorities were trying to determine what kind of substance caused Storro’s facial burns.

Police said the assailant was described as a black woman between 25 and 35, who wore a green shirt and khaki shorts, The Columbian reported. She had medium-length black hair that was pulled back.

The bad guys win in this world. The indifference of good men ensures this eventuality, everywhere:

However much she would like to forget them, the details of how she lost her dreams, her identity and very nearly her life will stay with Katie Piper for ever.

They are burned into both her memory and her face. Katie, 26, has remained fearful and anonymous in the 18 months since the man she met on the internet attempted to destroy her, so few will recognise her name.

But the facts of the case – the rape, the vengeful boyfriend Daniel Lynch, the cup of industrial-strength sulphuric acid – are all too familiar, a cause of anger and revulsion when they were revealed in court earlier this year.

It was an added cruelty that Katie’s world had revolved around her beauty. She modelled for catalogues and magazines, presented television programmes and had dreamed of a full-time career in the media.

In our world, the bad guys win. It’s only in movies, books and stories that heroes rise to fight villainy and work tirelessly to eradicate it.

And it will only get worse, before it starts to get better.

A Southern Strategy for the 21st Century

Bruce Springsteen’s song about constantly living off of past achievements in the present comes to mind when the story of Julious Threatts is considered:

A 21-year-old man impersonated a 14-year-old by playing in a youth football league and attempted to enroll at a Hillsborough County Middle School, according to league and school district officials.

Julious Threatts, 21, used the name Chad Jordan to register and play for the Town N’ Country Packers on Aug. 21, said Packers athletic director Ray McCloud. The Packers are made up of 13- and 14-year-olds and play in the Tampa Bay Youth Football League on Aug. 21.

On Tuesday, he attempted to enroll at Webb Middle School at 6305 Hanley Road, again under the alias, Chad Jordan.

Steve Hegarty, Hillsborough County School District spokesman, said Threatts showed up alone and without the proper paperwork at Webb. Threatts told administrators he was homeless.

Hegarty said the Department of Child and Families was called in, while Threatts waited in the cafeteria where he was given a snack.

According to Hegarty, Webb Principal Marcos Murillo walked through the cafeteria at that point and saw Threatts. Hegarty said Murillo told him, “He looks too old to be in middle school.”

It has been argued here that sports offer the only positive image of Black people in America and that it was sports which allowed the construction and erection of Black Run America (BRA). Without the need to constantly appease Black athletes by keeping them happy and content for the fear that they might boycott an academic institution and fail to provide entertainment and winning teams, BRA would never, ever have become the law of the land.

One Southern school can’t run away from its heritage fast enough, for fear that no Black athletes will grace the Oxford campus if they don’t stamp out all memories of the past.

It’s too late to stop BRA now, much too late. Every institution and entity in America is under the power and omnipotent influence of BRA, whether it is the conservative movement, the financial industry, the fast food franchises, the airlines, education and, of course, the government.

Interesting that on a day the story broke of a 21-year-old trying to prolong his football career by impersonating a middle schooler, St. Louis announced incentives to keep kids in school by paying them money:

Stacey Wright had more than a dozen choices when it came to enrolling three of her children in an elementary school, from charters to magnets to traditional public schools in every corner of the city.

She chose Jefferson Elementary School, the brick St. Louis public school across the street. And for that, she may get $900.

For the first time, a local organization is offering parents a cash incentive to enroll their children at Jefferson. The money is limited to students who didn’t attend the school last year. To get it, the kids must finish this semester with near-perfect attendance and receive no out-of-school suspensions; the parent must attend three PTO meetings. The program is being offered to families in three mixed-income housing complexes surrounding the school, where most of the students live.

We pointed out before that a career in professional sports is the dream vocation for most young Black males and how few of these individuals have any other dreams to fall back upon. This must explain why Julious Threatts went back to school in the first place:

“I brought him into this room with seven of our board members and coaches and said, Come on now, tell us the truth, who are you?” Ray McCloud, one of the youth coaches, told MSNBC. “He looked me right in the eye and said, ‘I swear I am who I say I am. I’m Chad Jordan.’

“This guy had us all fooled. I mean this guy acted just like a little kid. Everything about him was a little kid. He’s a total scam artist.”

Not only did Threatts’ story include his own acting ability, it came with documentation. According to media reports, Threatts had a falsified birth certificate as well as a detailed scouting report from a high school recruiting scout alleged to be from Rivals.com. The report analyzed Chad Jordan and said that he is “a very special prospect” who “hasn’t signed” but has “offers from USC (University of Southern California), Texas and Florida.”

It seems that Julious Threatts doesn’t need prison as much as he needs a good psychologist. Some people will go to dramatic lengths to re-create their youth, and I am curious as to whether or not Threatts truly accepts or realizes that he is no longer a 14-year-old.

I once recall speaking to a young black male who was 20 years old and still in high school. He was dropping out soon, since he’d failed so many grades that the school no longer desired his presence on campus. He was completely illiterate and unemployed. I asked the young man what he wanted to do with his life, and he said, “I want to be a football player.”

This isn’t the first time that a Black person has pretended to be younger than they really are so that they could extend their high school days, reliving glory days long passed. It happened just three months ago in Texas. Interestingly, Dallas recent passed a law that would not allow high school students over the age of 21 to attend classes, citing the gross disparity in age that represents.

Taking off the SBPDL hat for a second, I must state something that many might find shocking: the South must be abandoned. It took the integration of sports to topple the last holdouts to the Civil Rights era legislation and as this Web site has shown, once that wall came down Black Run America was built in its place.

We have shown that the future of the South is one where more than 50 percent of the young people come from families dependent on the government for sustenance; where the major cities are in shambles economically and harboring a large percentage of criminals that disqualify them from as areas worthy of putting down roots and raising a family; and how one major disaster spells doom for those unlucky enough to be in a geographic area that contains 54 percent of the nations Black population. Plus, Black people are moving back to the South from areas they helped make inhospitable and unattractive to outside capital and investments:

Discouraged by the avalanche of foreclosures around them in Detriot, Mona Ramsey and her husband started looking at states where they would move.

They considered North Carolina, Florida, Texas — and finally tacked Tennessee to the end of their list. In 2007, they moved to Nashville.

“I was even doing eeny, meeny on whether to pick San Antonio or Austin,” she said. “I had a friend call, and I had an interview with the state of Tennessee. As God would have it, we moved here.”

Ramsey represents not only continuing strong black migration to the South but also the trend’s economic and cultural impact. Ramsey started an online business, Sole Sista Shoes, to appeal to a black clientele, and continued running the makeup company she launched in Michigan, Phenom Cosmetics.

Demographers noted a growing trend of black families resettling in Southern states, reflected in the 2000 census. The region had gained about 3 million black residents since the 1990 count. It added nearly 2 million more from 2000 to 2008, U.S. Census Bureau figures released this month show, by far the largest gain in black population of any region.

In the 1990s, many black, college-educated professionals wanted to leave the worsening economic conditions in the urban North while some wanted to move closer to family, a report by the New York-based Schomberg Center for Research in Black Culture shows. Others moved with companies relocating in the South.

It was a reversal of the decades-long flow of Southern black residents leaving for opportunities in Northern urban centers.

The South is held captive by a morbid fascination with sports. College football is king in the South, and the majority of the stars and starters for these schools are Black. Thus, the South – though colleges and universities are majority white – is held captive by Black college football players.

This won’t change. See here for a video explaining this captivity.

Once, the Republicans took power by utilizing The Southern Strategy, an idea they have abandoned and even apologized for, since it meant pandering to a logical constituency.

Now it is time for a 21^st Century version of The Southern Strategy: leave it behind.

Bruce Springsteen’s song Glory Days fits the bill for the South. Demographically speaking, its glory days are long gone and the South is unlikely to rise again anytime soon.

A new Southern Strategy: move away.

We have shown here that no peace will ever be made; no amount of groveling will ever be enough to make up for the original sin of the 21st century (being born white) and put an end to the question And then?; so it is time that those clinging to the glory days of the South leave it behind permanently.

And don’t look back.
