Will higher unemployment drive economic relocalization and cultural renaissance?

The global banksters appear to be outsmarting themselves, or over-reaching.

1. Here in the US, they centralized the economy and fostered massive dependence on non-productive, paper shuffling jobs in government and business. From social workers to newspaper delivery people (advertising deliverers), the jobs we are accustomed to are non-productive. There’s a hell of a lot of “make-work” that “makes” a very nice middle class salary.

2. Now they cannot sustain this, and we will have a higher average unemployment. See Unemployment, the New Norm.

3. Government manipulation of employment, creating lots of well paid “make work,” cultivated an idle, undisciplined, inexperienced, and impractical workforce. To be sure there is a section of the population that is very good at things like construction and auto repair. But for every one of those, there are several “idlers.” Also, “social security disability” is a way out from able bodied Americans to “collect crazy checks,” and let the Mexicans do the manual labor.

4. The Government engineered laziness, idleness and mental dullness, is not economically sustainable. Both “benefits” and the “make work jobs” are going to be cut at the same time. From “Unemployment; the New Norm.”

Even as the economy recovers, the days of 5% unemployment may be gone for good.

A chorus of economists and labor market observers say that the “natural” or “structural” rate of unemployment has shifted up, meaning that Americans looking for work should get used to having a harder time finding it. The unemployment rate is currently 9% and could take until 2016 to reach the natural rate.

The cultivated laziness and idleness has created a “skills mismatch” which will exacerbate the unemployment rate:

“Businesses are looking to hire, but the workers they are looking to hire are not there in the abundance that they want them to be,” Vitner said.

Slightly more than half of U.S. businesses are having trouble finding the right candidate for open jobs, according to a survey released today of 1,322 U.S. businesses by global recruitment firm ManpowerGroup. In 2010, only 14% of respondents had similar gripes.

“There’s a talent mismatch,” said Jeff Joerres, CEO of ManpowerGroup. “That, coupled with the fact that demand in most industries is not so robust that [firms] need to compromise, means companies are able to wait to find the right people.”

So far the cornucopia is holding up. The crazy checkers and the slackers have not felt the bite of hunger. But when they do, things will change quickly. There will be a drive both to learn marketable skills to get a job, and to produce food locally.

The necessity to focus one’s attention on practical things will force millions of people to “grow up.” It will be a radical change in the culture. I think this will be a change for the good—we will have a healthier culture.

After another “Great Depression” the cornucopia may come back for a while, and some people may then slack off again. But what we need to do during the Great Depression II time is make sure that we create our own elite and our own folkways that we are ready to fanatically promote and defend, like the Muslims. I predict that in the coming Troubles, we will create a religion that will defend our Folk.

Myrtle Beach Sun: Crime exploded during Black Bike Week.

The Myrtle Beach Sun just ran the fantastical headline “Police saw no rise in calls during Myrtle Beach area bike rallies.” However the headline was intentionally misleading. They meant no increase over last year.

The hard facts in the article then show that crime indeed exploded during Black Bike Week. However, crime explodes during black bike week each year. So you could say that crime didn’t increase over last year’s event.

There are two bike rallies. The nine day Harley Davidson Rally, followed by the three day “Black Bike Week.” The media however, has started using its own made up names for black racial events as a new tactic to conceal black crime. Websites for the event still call it “Black Bike Week.”

According to the Myrtle Beach Sun…

Horry County officials reported 129 cases with fines or bond amounts totaling $19,151 during the nine days of the Harley Davidson rally from May 14 to May 22, according to reports.

During the three-day Atlantic Beach Bikefest [more commonly known as Black Bike Week] on Memorial Day weekend, Horry County officials recorded 180 cases and $29,350 in daily fines or bond amounts.

This year in Myrtle Beach during the busy Harley rally weekend of May 20-22, officials recorded six felonies, 385 misdemeanors and 391 traffic-related incidents, according to records.

From May 27-30 during the Atlantic Beach Bikefest, Myrtle Beach police recorded 15 felonies, 937 misdemeanors and 952 traffic-related incidents.

So for each day of the regular bike event, their were 14 incidents in Horry County per day. During Black Bike Week, there were 60 incidents per day. That is an increase of over 400% during the all black event.

During the two busiest three day periods we see that felonies increased 250% and misdemeanors increased 239% during Black Bike Week over regular bike week. Traffic related incidents increased 243%.

Now, the police do not list the number of incidents that were locals vs. tourists. However the numbers alone strongly indicate an explosion of crime during Black Bike Week.

The Lights Are Going out in the Nation’s Capital

In August 1914, at the beginning of World War One, Sir Edward Grey said, “The lamps are going out all across Europe; we shall not see them lit again in our lifetime…” In our nation’s capital, the lights are going out as well, but it isn’t due to war; it’s copper wire thieves.

WTOP.com reports: “Copper thieves possibly posing as road crews are causing parts of the District to go dark. The D.C. Department of Transportation says thieves have stolen copper wire installed in underground conduits at least four times in recent weeks. Officials say in some cases the thieves may be posing as road contractors at staged work zones in order to commit the crime. They may even be detouring traffic. One wire theft caused an illuminated Interstate 295 sign to go dark on northbound Kenilworth Avenue between Polk Street and Eastern Avenue. Thieves also have taken wire that powers sidewalk lights along Kenilworth Avenue in Northeast between Foote and Hayes streets, and copper additionally has been stolen at North Capitol and Irving streets and at South Capitol and Potomac streets. In the 295 and Kenilworth Avenue incidents, officials say the wire was located between manholes in a grass median. The thefts come as scrap metal dealers are paying nearly $3 per pound for copper wire.”

It’s not just the cost of replacing the repeatedly stolen copper wires; crime will soar whenever the street lights go out in the bad neighborhoods of DC. When the power is cut to alarm systems, massive looting could take place.

America is beginning to cannibalize itself now. There is barely any maintenance of infrastructure. A major bridge collapsed in Minneapolis in 2007 killing 13 people and injuring 145. That bridge was ranked better than 10 percent of the bridges in the US by the way. It should be remembered that prior to fall 2007, the US economy was in fairly good shape. If politicians were neglecting infrastructure prior to 2007, imagine how much infrastructure is being neglected now that tax revenue has taken an enormous hit.

The rot is appearing first in the large stretches of urban areas which are controlled by blacks and Hispanics, such as Detroit, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New Jersey, Philadelphia and other big cities. New Orleans still has not been able to rebuild completely after Hurricane Katrina because the black city establishment lacks the competency to do so and seems to have stolen or wasted most of the tax money allocated for that purpose.

This story about copper thieves may sound like something that happens in the Third World, but America has 100 million Third World people within its borders. One day you’ll be driving through a big city as the street lamps and traffic lights suddenly lose power –hopefully you’ll be able to get back to the good part of town before any rioting or before someone tries to carjack you. This is what comes from a multi-racial society and we can expect things to get a lot worse as the number of minorities continues to increase.

Here’s negro atrocity report #15,234,289 since the beginning of racial integration in this country. Or thereabouts. This particular negro atrocity was committed against one of their own kind, a month-old infant.

A recent news article reports: “An Ohio woman convicted of killing her month-old baby daughter in a microwave oven was spared the death penalty and sentenced Friday to life in prison without parole. Prosecutors say Arnold intentionally put 28-day-old Paris Talley in a microwave and turned it on after a fight with her boyfriend. The defense argued that someone else was likely responsible for the baby’s death.”

And who would that be? The infamous serial baby-killer of Dayton, who sneaks into people’s homes and microwaves their babies? Obviously someone else must have been responsible, since blacks are never responsible for any of these horrible things, right?

The article goes on “Medical experts testified that the baby died quickly after her temperature reached between 107 to 108 degrees Fahrenheit. They said she probably was in the microwave for more than two minutes. ‘She died because she was overheated,’ said Dr. Marcella Fierro, retired chief medical examiner for Virginia. ‘She was cooked.’ ’’

What will happen in this country when the states can no longer afford to lock up all the serious black criminals? The Supreme Court just ordered the state of California to release 46,000 prisoners. How many baby micro-wavers do you think are among those criminals?

What will happen when there is no White law and order left at all and these creatures can literally run wild across the land, like they do in Africa?

Well, take a look at Africa today. Disease, mass machete murders, starvation, chaos, and reversion to the Stone Age. That is America fifty years from now if we don’t act. I won’t be around, but do you have any children or grandchildren who might be? Don’t you think you might want to consider doing something about all this?

Voodoo in America

The New York Post reports: “A monster mom tried to soften her tale of setting a six-year-old daughter on fire in a voodoo ritual even as she pleaded guilty to the ‘barbaric’ crime today — but a Queens judge would have none of it as he coaxed the truth from her and then sentenced the woman to 17 years behind bars. Marie Lauradin, 29, pleaded guilty to assault last month for setting little Frantzcia Saintil on fire in a ritual called Loa. But in a pre-sentencing report she changed her story, saying she was merely ‘rubbing [Frantzcia] down with alcohol because she was sick with fever when a nearby candle fell and set her on fire.’ Lauradin originally told police that she was cooking rice on the stove inside her Queens Village home on Feb. 4, 2009, and when she was moving the pot to a back burner as Frantzcia approached her from behind and hit her hand, causing her to spill the pot of boiling water on the child, according to prosecutors.”

Blacks have both drug problems and tendencies toward violent outbursts. When you combine these two traits, you occasionally get a dead or severely injured Black baby or toddler. In Africa and Haiti, voodoo rituals often involve severing body parts from infants. Boiling a child or setting one on fire is something I’ve never heard of before. White American mothers should be aware that a Haitian voodoo witchdoctor might want to kidnap a White baby for some of their rituals.

The article notes “Little Frantzcia’s horrific injuries — some of them permanent — didn’t match her mother’s story. Lauradin’s mother, Sylvenie Thessier, 70, stood by while 25 percent of her granddaughter’s body was covered with second- and third-degree burns — including her face. Thessier pleaded guilty to reckless assault earlier this year and was sentenced in April to 1 to 3 years in prison. The mother and daughter duo both face deportation to Haiti upon completion of their sentences.”

Our treasonous two-party government has allowed people from Haiti to come here. Imagine the medical cost of saving the Black baby’s life and of arresting the mom and grandma and then putting them on trial and then imprisoning them and then deporting them. And these were Blacks, who were allowed to immigrate here.

We’ve got a total of 100 million Third World people inside the US, who are committing crimes, injuring each other and tying up our court system and emergency rooms. Each day we are getting closer and closer to bankruptcy thanks to the financial burden from America’s Third World population. The only way to reverse this trend and reestablish a prosperous America is to start expelling Third World people from America.

Stars and Stripes publishes story bemoaning lack of Black military heroes

We write about the military a lot here. From G.I. Joe to Top Gun, from SEALs Team 6 to discussing articles that claim the officers of the United States Military are “too white,” we point out how our military has been completely swamped with the pernicious infection known as Black-Run America (BRA).

Always remember this quote, and you’ll understand the thinking pervasive in the highest echelons of not only the military, but in corporations, academic institutions and the government in America:

A reader sent this article in from The Stars and Stripes newspaper that tragically captures the concept of BRA and how Steve Sailer’s sardonic post that “Congress prepared a study for the military that too many white men die in combat” has far more truth in it then even he could imagine.’
Stars and Stripes has actually published a cover-story asking, “Why do blacks (sic) receive fewer valor medals?” (Why aren’t there more profiles of black heroes?):

There aren’t a lot of black faces in this year’s Heroes special section. Unfortunately, that’s not a surprise.

Every year, we try to present a diverse selection of battlefield stories, to best reflect the makeup of the military. We seek representatives from each of the services. And we want to make sure that every hero we feature isn’t a white male.

And, in most respects, this section succeeds in that. We rarely have to search for Hispanic troops to profile. We’ve had trouble finding women, but that’s not unexpected given the Defense Department’s prohibition against women in combat.

But finding African-Americans who have received valor awards has often been difficult. It has meant scouring other newspapers and blogs looking specifically for black heroes. It has meant tactless last-minute calls to public affairs officers asking for help identifying “troops with heroic stories, but they have to be black.”

Since we began publishing the Heroes special section seven years ago, we have included profiles of 21 black servicemembers and veterans — just over 10 percent of the total stories.

This year, we tried to figure out if there’s a reason why those stories of extraordinary heroism by African American troops seem hard for us to find.

The Defense Department does not track racial data on valor awards, and has no central database of all the troops who have received those honors. So there is no empirical way to determine whether black servicemembers receive proportionally fewer valor awards than their counterparts.

But broad demographic shifts in the military over the last decade suggest that one of the main reasons we’ve seen fewer battlefield awards for African-Americans is because there are fewer African-Americans on the battlefield.

According to figures from the Defense Manpower Data Center, today there are more than 241,000 African-American active-duty troops in the four services, and nearly 130,000 more in the Guard and Reserve.

But those numbers have dropped significantly in recent years. In 2000, one out of every four soldiers was African-American. In 2010, it was less than one in five. The Marine Corps saw the proportion of blacks drop from nearly 16 percent to about 10 percent over the same span.

Moreover, even fewer blacks are serving in front-line positions, in the kind of combat units where most valor awards are earned.

In 1994, blacks comprised nearly 25 percent of all Army infantry units. By 2009, that figure had dropped to 10 percent. Today, there are four times more blacks serving in administrative or supply positions in the Army than in infantry posts, according to service statistics. Marine Corps statistics show similar trends.

“That doesn’t surprise me at all,” said Edwin Dorn, an assistant secretary of defense in the 1990s and now a professor of public policy at the University of Texas. “That’s in line with trends we’ve seen in the past. In an ideal world, you’d like the distribution of [racial] groups to be close to the rest of the military, but that’s the ideal.”

Why are fewer African-Americans electing to serve in combat units? Dorn said it’s a combination of factors, most pointing toward why many African-Americans are drawn to the military in the first place.

“Some of it has to do with racial trends in society,” he said. “[African-Americans] join the military because they see it as a place they can get a leg up, with more opportunity than the civilian economy. So they think about it as a career, or think about the kind of jobs that can translate into a civilian job later on.”

That means gravitating to administrative jobs that provide a long-term career track or are easier to translate into resume-friendly job skills.

John Sibley Butler, author of several books on race in the military, said the overall decline in the number of blacks in the military is not unexpected, given that college enrollments among African-Americans have increased in the last 20 years. That has brought the military’s racial composition closer to the country at large.

There’s also a long-held perception inside the black community that more minorities were forced to the front lines during the Vietnam War than their white counterparts, Butler noted.

African-Americans comprised roughly a third of Army combat infantry ranks during that conflict, according to Butler’s research. Thus, parents who have encouraged their children to join the military in the last 20 years have also pushed them to seek jobs outside of combat specialties.

“So, while Vietnam was fought disproportionately by blacks,” Butler said, today’s wars “are being fought disproportionately by whites.”

In fact, only about 9 percent of the troops killed in Iraq and Afghanistan have been black, even though they make up more than 17 percent of the total active-duty force. In contrast, Hispanics make up roughly 10 percent of the active-duty force and 10 percent of the deaths from the current wars.

Andre Sayles, director of the Army’s Diversity Strategy and Integration office, said the decline in the proportion of African-Americans serving in combat roles has raised eyebrows within military circles. Numerous service-wide studies – including a recent report from the Military Leadership Diversity Commission – have noted the falling combat numbers as a potential area of concern.

“If we are to maintain an all-volunteer army, we must consider all the factors, to include any barriers that may impact lack of African-American service in the combat arms branches,” he said in a statement to Stars and Stripes.

But those are just the statistical explanations. Tyrone Williams, chief operating officer at the outreach group Black Veterans for Social Justice, asserted that African-American troops are receiving fewer valor awards because of lingering racism in the military.

“There is still some institutional racism out there,” he said. “It’s better than in the past, but we still see a lot of bad paper for black veterans, more bad discharges or mistakes with paperwork than with white veterans. It’s still a problem.”

Williams can’t point to any hard data, but he said veterans he works with believe that blacks have to work harder to get recognition and receive services from the military.

And because issuance of a valor award depends entirely on recommendations from commanding officers, the process is vulnerable to human biases.

So the medals problem could be due to hidden prejudice against black servicemembers. And it could be due to shifting demographics.

And it could be, as Williams noted, “that you just need some better sources to find the ones that are out there.”

Medal problems could be due to a hidden prejudice against black service members? Really? Just as racism is blame for the fact that less than two percent of the Air Force fighter pilots are Black? Racism is obviously the culprit behind the United States Special Forces being a haven and refuge from affirmative action policies, thus attracting only the best and reflecting a much different military then the one Gen. Casey would strive to portray.
Those enlisting for the United States military happen to be primarily white, and those capable of passing the entrance exam tend to be white (and those failing tend to overwhelmingly Black) which could be a reason that so few Black people have the opportunity to be heroes:

Nearly one-fourth of the students who try to join the military fail its entrance exam, painting a grim picture of an education system that produces graduates who can’t answer basic math, science and reading questions.

The report by The Education Trust found that 23 percent of recent high school graduates don’t get the minimum score needed on the enlistment test to join any branch of the military. The study, released exclusively to The Associated Press on Tuesday, comes on top of Pentagon data that shows 75 percent of those aged 17 to 24 don’t qualify for the military because they are physically unfit, have a criminal record or didn’t graduate high school.

This is the first time ever that the U.S. Army has released this test data publicly, said Amy Wilkins with The Education Trust, a Washington, D.C.-based children’s advocacy group. She said the organization worked with the U.S. Army to get raw data on test takers from the past five years.

The Education Trust study shows wide disparities in scores among white and minority students. Nearly 40 percent of black students and 30 percent of Hispanics don’t pass, compared to 16 percent of whites.

Recruits must score at least in the 31st percentile on the first stage of the three-hour test to get into the Army or the Marines. Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard recruits must have higher scores.

The average score for blacks is 38 and for Hispanics is 44, compared to whites’ average score of 55. The scores reflect the similar racial gaps on other standardized exams.

Nearly 40 percent of black students and 30 percent of Hispanics don’t pass, compared to 16 percent of whites.

But don’t worry, the United States Missile Defense Agency (just like the Intelligence agencies) is committed to promoting a diversity that a paucity of battlefield heroes can’t provide:

A nation that frets over the lack of opportunity for Black people to be placed in military conflicts that will present the chance for them to become Real American Heroes – when 40 percent of Black applicants to the military can’t pass the entrance exam – is fucked; Fucked in ways that that word doesn’t accurately encapsulate.

Then again, the Naval and Coast Guard Academies have lowered qualifications in a furious bid to augment the Black enrollment at both formerly prestigious institutions, so you just have to wonder how many Chinese generals are laughing at us right now.

White people in America are little more than Flavius Aëtius, the Roman General who was imprisoned and only released to put down Attila the Hun. When that task was complete, he was killed, no longer of any use to the dying Republic.

You should begin to see why Hollywood is called upon to provide Black Fictional Images that constantly depict heroic acts perpetrated by Black actors that have no basis in reality.

That SEALs Team 6 movie of the Osama killing is going to be hilariously inaccurate, just as any war movie made over the last 30 years that shows Black actors portraying “heroes” happens to be. Courtesy of Stars and Stripes, we are painfully aware that the only heroes being produced in our current military engagements are “too white” for the tastes of those in power in BRA.

Whites dying protecting a flag that no longer represents them is of little concern to Black-Run America; that not enough Black heroes are being produced, and far too many Alvin Greene’s, is the real travesty of our current military engagements.

Richard Lynn on “The Perils of Diversity”

Byron M. Roth, The Perils of Diversity: Immigration and Human Nature. Washington Summit Publishers, 2010, 577 pages.

Dr. Byron Roth, Professor Emeritus of psychology at Dowling College on Long Island, has written an important book on the damage that has been done to the United States and Europe by the large scale immigration of non-European peoples that has taken place in recent decades.

Roth begins The Perils of Diversity by documenting how elite opinion-makers in academia and the mainstream media almost all assume that the peoples of all races are similar, and therefore that they can all be accommodated in the United States and Europe. The principal “debate” is between those who advocate assimilation and those who advocate multiculturalism. While acknowledging that different racial groups can sometimes be in conflict, assimilationists argue that these ethnic problems can be solved through “the magic of assimilation,” in which all races and religions are gradually transformed into Americans or Europeans. The multiculturalists argue that we should let the immigrants keep their culture, beliefs, and practices; this can be accomplished, they say, peacefully, and different communities can live in social harmony. They blame the intolerant attitudes of the host populations in the United States and Europe for the discord that is frequently present: It is the fault of the indigenous American and European peoples, who do not do enough to accommodate immigrants.

Roth argues that both the assimilationists and the multiculturalists fail to understand human nature.

Assimilationists believe that all races have the intelligence and values required to maintain Western civilization, while multiculturalists believe that all races and cultures can live together in social harmony. These beliefs are, Roth argues, seriously incorrect in the light of historical experience and scientific evidence.

To sustain these beliefs, the academy, the legal profession, and philanthropic foundations ignore and suppress the scientific evidence that has shown that genes have a major impact on both individual and racial differences. But academics who state that there are genetic racial differences come in for tremendous criticism and punishment—they are deemed “racists” are run out of the academy. Dr Roth describes the fate of Chris Brand, who was fired from the University of Edinburgh, as well the attacks on Bruce Lahn of the University of Chicago, and on James Watson, who was forced to resign from the research institute at Cold Springs Harbour. All of these scientists were punished for suggesting that there are race differences in IQ.

Discussion of these issues is further suppressed in a number of countries by “hate speech” laws that prohibit public debate on race and intelligence. It is effectively illegal to publish a book criticizing immigration on these grounds in Canada, and publishers are highly reluctant to do so in Europe.

Philanthropic foundations sponsor publications and conferences on race, but do not invite anyone who might make the case for genetic racial differences. They also give huge sums for studies of “racism” to pro-immigration groups, including The National Council of La Raza, as well as Hispanic lobbies that have advocated the return of the southern states to Mexico.

Roth notes the vested interests of many of those that favor mass immigration. Business leaders often like open borders because immigrants provide cheap labor. Liberals and leftists favor mass immigration because they care little about the preservation of Western civilization and have adopted a form of racialized Marxism, in which Whites have effectively taken the place of Marx’s bourgeoisie and non-Whites, the proletariat. They regard the Europeans as the oppressors and non-Europeans as the oppressed.

In making his case, Dr. Roth outlines human evolutionary history—that is, “Big History” of the past tens of thousands of years. Early man lived in bands of some 50 to 100 close relatives. These bands were, in many ways, altruistic, and each member participated in reciprocal co-operation (what is often called “inclusive fitness.”) On the other hand, each band typically had relations with outside bands in varying degrees of hostility. This in-group/out-group dual code, as the British sociologist Herbert Spencer described it in the 19th century, has evolved as human nature. The remaining hunter-gatherers that survive in the Amazon basin and elsewhere typically make frequent attacks on neighboring bands; the victors pass on their genes for hostility to out-groups.

In multiracial societies, the integration of ethnic groups is hard enough when the groups have the same abilities; the strains on social harmony are much greater when the abilities of the groups differ widely. Dr Roth has three chapters explaining racial differences in ability and the effect that climate has had on selecting for intelligence. He summarizes the numerous studies that have shown the existence of race differences in intelligence. The essential facts are that with the average European IQ set at 100, the North East Asians have an average IQ of approximately 105, Hispanics have an average IQ of approximately 89, South Asians and North Africans, an average IQ of approximately 84, and sub-Saharan Africans, an average IQ of approximately 70. These racial differences present difficulties for multiracial societies.

Furthermore, because (apart from small numbers of Chinese, Japanese, and Koreans) the immigrants into the United States and Europe have lower average IQs than the European peoples, the IQs of the populations will decline. As their numbers increase by further immigration and higher fertility, the average IQ in the United States and Europe will fall further and this will seriously impair the economic and intellectual world leadership of the European peoples.

Additional problems are that all multiracial societies are stratified by ability such that the more intelligent races achieve more power and wealth. The groups with lower IQs resent this and lobby for legislation and “affirmative action” to redress the perceived inequity. In Indonesia, for example, the ethnic Chinese have an average IQ of approximately 105, while Indonesians average around 87. The Chinese are approximately 3 percent of the population but control about 70 percent of the private economy. This generated resentment among the Indonesians, who in 1998, killed about 2,000 Chinese and looted and burned their homes and businesses.

Roth gives an account of how it has come about that non-European immigrants have flooded into the United States and Europe in the last few decades. The first American immigrants came mainly from Northwest Europe. Between 1881 and the early 1920s, larger numbers came from Southern and Eastern Europe, particularly Italians, Poles and Jews. In 1924, an immigration act was passed that imposed quotas restricting the numbers from Southern and Eastern Europe, in order to preserve that the Northwest European ethnic identity and culture. There were no restrictions on immigration from Latin America, but at this time few Latin Americans arrived.

By the 1960s, the American elites viewed immigration restriction as what Roth describes as “morally compromised” and “inconsistent with American ideals.” The Immigration Act of 1965 was passed that abolished national preferences favoring Northwest Europeans. The act set a total limit of 290,000 admissions per year, but also admitted immigrants’extended families outside the quota. It was this act that opened the floodgates of non-European immigrants, who, together with Blacks, are projected to become a majority of the population by around the year 2042. From 1965 onwards, numerous illegal immigrants entered the United States. In 1986, amnesty was granted to 3.1 million illegal aliens who had arrived in the country before 1982. By this time, about 600,000 people were entering the United States legally every year, so in 1990 Congress raised the quota to 700,000.

The flow continued to increase, reaching approximately one million a year in the 1990s. Only about 16 percent of the immigrants were now coming from Europe or Canada.

 

Roth documents similar mass immigration of non-Europeans into Western Europe after the Second World War. The two main reasons for this were the shortage of manual labor and immigration from former European colonies.

Germany brought in large numbers of mainly Turkish “guest workers” to help rebuild the country in the 1950s. Many of these workers brought in their families, and there are now over three million Muslims in Germany (most of them being Turks.) These newcomers do not do well by any social measure, and a government survey in 2004 found that they are becoming increasingly alienated from German society. Mosque attendance is rising, and a survey [PDF] has shown that a bout 40 percent consider “the use of physical violence as a reaction to the threat presented to Islam by the West is legitimate.”

Nearly two-thirds of those aged 14 to 18 report having few or no German friends. Immigrants from former colonies have come in large numbers to Britain, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Portugal. In France, Muslims from Africa are estimated at 5.7 percent of the population.

Muslims have high rates of crime throughout Western Europe. In Britain they are overrepresented in jails by a factor of 3.67; in France by four to five, and in Germany by six to seven. In Denmark, where they constitute only 4 percent of the population, Muslims have been convicted for more than half the rapes, and these are almost always of non-Muslim women.

 

In the last chapter Roth discusses the likely future of the West and the world. He estimates that the average American IQ will decline from 98 to 95 by mid-century. This may seem a small drop, but it will have dire effects for elites, because the percentage of Americans with an IQ of at least 120 will fall from 7.1 to 4.8. In the United States and Western Europe, there will likely emerge a rich White-and-Asian elite and a Black-and-Brown majority. This demographic transformation will profoundly impair their economic and military strength and their intellectual world leadership.

China will likely emerge as the new world superpower. Over the next 40 years, the number of well-trained Chinese with IQs over 120 will outnumber their American counterparts by about eight to one. Roth writes, “The upshot is that the gap in the potential for innovation and economic growth between China and the U.S. will grow enormously and begin to have its effects in the very near future.”

Roth also predicts an American fiscal disaster that will produce high inflation and an inability to fund social programs. This will lead to a political conflict between the productive, mostly White part of the population threatened by inflation, and the less productive, mostly non-White part threatened by the loss of welfare handouts.

Roth is even more pessimistic about Europe. He regards the European Union leaders as left-wing authoritarians who aim to turn the European Union into a centrally controlled unified state. The higher fertility rates of Muslims will likely produce Islamic majorities throughout Western Europe by the end of the present century.

Byron Roth has done a terrific job setting out his gloomy but indisputable analysis of the future of the European peoples in his closely argued book. When we reach the end of book, we can only reflect that we are living in a unique moment in human history, in which the European peoples are complacent about the destruction of their genetic and cultural heritage brought about by the invasion of alien peoples.

One is reminded of the Chinese curse—“May you live in interesting times.”

The Post American Vision

We can all say with absolute certainty that economic collapse is certain, all indicators point towards collapse, without any doubt, and more then likely this event will occur in the next few years or sooner. I’d like to speculate on the world that will unfold in the years post an economic collapse of the American nation, and its effect globally.

Let’s get started, the American homeland will suffer through a depression never before seen in the industrialized, starvation, crime, governments at all levels will have either collapsed, or in the process of collapse. Major cities will erupt into urban warfare zones, as police struggle to maintain law and order. The economy will have all but destabilized, and unemployment will skyrocket to 50-65% range. Crime will be rampant, and armed civilian check points common.  Most communities will be segregated along ethnic border lines, and inter ethnic violence growing exponentially. Governments will be forced to cut entitlement spending, and resulting civilian ethnic warfare will bring the nation to a standstill. Mexico’s civil war will bleed into the american southwest, we expect most Mexicans to return home during this time period due to lack of opportunities and unavailable employment in the united states. Cities will continue to separate themselves by race, and states will also separate themselves based on core identity. The federal reserve will be declared insolvent, and the federal government ineffective, federal armed forces will mobilize to protect cities wherein they reside, and major bases will become safe zones, but otherwise the army will lack the manpower to enforce law and order on Americas 315 million people, they will play a wait and see campaign, combined with support missions for overseas units.

States with standing guard units will abolish the federal power structure within their respected states, and move to secure there own interests. High population states like new York and California will collapse into violence, while states like Oklahoma and north Dakota will unify under the banner of freedom from federal tyranny. Effectively the federal government will have collapsed at this point, military commanders overseas will attempt to redeploy to the homeland to support efforts to stabilize major cities, although this will prove ineffective in the end. A reorganization of the government, a constitutional convention, and a rebuilding effort will be undertaken by the surviving population. We expect tens of millions of deaths, possibly a hundred million if the collapse lasts more then a year, either way the nation will be changed forever, new ideas, an emphasis on the community an one’s own ethnic kin will become common place.

Its during this time a second war with Mexico will be fought, primarily a war of occupation that will evolve into a war of ethnic cleansing as new the American government seizes power, and total extent of Mexico’s complacency in Americas fall from power is revealed to the remaining American population. Conflict will last no more then a couple weeks as Mexico’s government will have already fallen from internal threats. The new ideology of America will determine the fate of central america, including Mexico’s fate, but occupation and annexation is certain for the territories to the south, it remains to be seen the fate of its population.

Inter nation conflict and civil unrest will be occurring in every european nation as nationalists and socialists battle over control of europe.  Two camps will eventual remain, the islamist’s transplants and the pro-european nationalists, but a war between britain and france is highly likely.  Russia will likely be battling its own internal islamic threats as well as its nationalist elements, destabilization and reorganization will likely occur. Eastern europe will also be involved in internal conflicts ranging from civil unrest to full rebellion as we have seen recently in greece.  

Most of South america will formally unite under the banner of socialism, and a new socialist union of states will be formed, eventually American nationalists will also engage in warfare with these nations , a gorilla war and puppet government campaign will result as US interest will become the priority, and allowing a new enemy state to develops in our hemisphere would not be tolerated. Occupation and ethnic cleansing is expected.

The main war for this global conflict will be in asia. We know china is preparing to challenge America militarily, so conflict with china is also certain, but not likely until no other choice is available, and they are militarily ready to challenge our armed forces, and supporting allies in the region. Such a scenario is likely to occur only after America has been weakened militarily through massive budget cuts, overly extended campaigns across the globe, and economic collapse. This scenario has a high degree of certainty that it will be fulfilled within the next 10 years. The conflict will involve japan, south korea, Taiwan, india, most south east asian nations, all in an alliance with the United States.  China will be allied with pakistan, north korea, and various islamic nations in opposition against allied forces.  This conflict will be the second time, nuclear weapons are used against civilian populations, india, pakistan, china mainland, will be hit the hardest with causalities in the hundreds of millions. Mainland japan, and US also should expect losses in the tens of millions, this depends on the effectiveness of missile defense systems, and if china is capable of deploying nuclear subs within reach of the US mainland.  This war will involve all sides deploying ground troops mainly in asia/india, and various islands in south china sea, ground troops on allied sides should expect use of advanced robotic systems to support human soldiers. UAV, robotic ground units, stationary robotic suppression systems, and other technologies should be expected in wide use during such a war. Heavy fighting within urban areas, and gorilla warfare in surrounding combat zones of conflict, china should also expect internal threats in addition to external.

In the initial stages of the war we can expect south korea to be overrun by the north, Taiwan to fall within a matter of days, and japan to lose partial control over some of its islands. We also expect crimes against humanity during this war. Americas ability to engage in this war initially will be limited to naval air power and its various bases in asia, although china will target these location in a first strike nuclear exchange resulting in heavy loss by the United States. As the war unfolds, indias ability to fight a war on 3 fronts will be challenged, as pakistan forces launch attacks from the west, china attacks from the north, indian enemies to the east, and internal threats destabilize the nations major cities along ethnic-religious lines. India will suffer massive losses also in the hundreds of millions. It is also certain nuclear detonations will destroy most of India’s cities.

Japan will also suffer initial losses but American bases should minimize these losses. Taiwan will also suffer major losses, and will primarily be fighting for its independence from china’s occupation forces, same goes for south korea, all sides will be involved in a gorilla warfare campaign throughout asia. 

This global war will peak with Russia entering on the side of America along with Iran and most of Europe. The global conflict will involve fronts, in south america, asia, europe and the middle east. We expect islamist nation to declare war on israel, and america to support israel economically, but not with military forces. War in europe will involve either the united states at war with Brittan or France. Most major cities around the world will be destroyed during world war 3. The planets human population will be depleted to just over 4 billion, starvation will become common place, and all nations will be unable to assist in the rebuilding of anything other then their own nations, so most nations will remain in a state of ruin for decades to come.

We expect the world will reorganize with a new euro-centric alliance between America, Europe, and Russia. Much of the globe will return to a pre industrialized state. Trade, technology, information, will be restricted, to the new global super power, “northern alliance.” A Euro-American-Russo alliance. Other than japan and small parts of asia, most of the planet will be unable to rebuild.  In a world destabilized by diversity, free trade globalism, and entitlement spendings, no such place will exist for them post collapse. Tribalism will be the new law of the land, the UN will have been found useless, liberalism ignorant of the reality of human differences, a new order for the ages will have been founded.

George Washington: Politically Incorrect

George WashingtonGeorge Washington, the father of our country, has become politically incorrect. In November, the New Orleans School Board voted to remove Washington’s name from an elementary school because he was a slaveholder and thus a bad example for children.

As reported in an Associated Press article, a Black civil rights leader in New Orleans, Mr. Carl Galmon, commented that “to African Americans, George Washington has about as much meaning as David Duke.”

It was inevitable. On the free speech soapbox twenty-seven years ago at LSU, I predicted that the passing of America from a White to a non-White nation would devastate our American heritage. I did not think then that it would happen in so short a time. America is still a few decades away from Whites becoming a minority in our nation, but already Black political power asserts itself in attacks on America’s most hallowed icons. In many of the ninety-five percent Black public schools of New Orleans, students now pledge allegiance to the red, black, and green, Black Liberation Flag, rather the Stars and Stripes. They sing a Black Liberation Anthem rather than the Star Spangled Banner. Not limited to New Orleans, this apostasy goes on in schools from Detroit to Atlanta and Miami to Kansas City.

Make no mistake, the vilification of George Washington is not the work of just a few Black radicals. Its perpetrators were a publicly elected school board, including a couple of craven Whites. To avoid being called racists, the Whites quietly acquiesced in the degradation of America’s greatest hero.

In a nationally syndicated column by Black writer, Leonard Pitts, he praised the renaming of the school and wrote that Blacks justifiably think of Washington as man of low character “who held human beings by chains.” Liberals are now telling us that George Washington was a hypocrite, who espoused the “rights of man” while practicing slavery.

Since the Second World War, Americans have been repeatedly told that our founding fathers were racial egalitarians. Anyone who opposed the Black civil rights movement were represented as un-American. Of course, it was all a big lie. Washington and Jefferson, as well as the other founding fathers were not hypocrites, they were completely consistent. The truth is that when Washington and Jefferson spoke about the “rights of man” they clearly were speaking about White men, not Blacks whom they viewed as a primitive form of humanity. Thomas Jefferson in his Notes on the State of Virginia wrote that White women who cohabited with Black males should be “outside the protection of the laws,” meaning that he believed that those who acted violently against them should not be prosecuted. The Constitution equated Blacks as three-fifths of a person. Even the Supreme Court of the United States dared to state clearly in a major decision that America was created “by and for White people.” Racial integration, Black voting, and racial intermarriage were opposed by most Whites until late in this century.

I oppose slavery for the same reasons espoused by General Robert E. Lee. He described slavery as a despoiler of both slave and master. He believed its greatest evil was not perpetrated against Blacks, for he felt that they found a considerable advantage in American rather than African slavery. To Lee, the real damage was being done to White society. Lee was, of course, correct. The importation of millions of Blacks into America has had tragic consequences. Racially aware Whites today oppose the institution just as vehemently as racial egalitarians.

Slavery had a pernicious impact on White people in America, corrupting those classes who owned slaves and harming those Whites who did not. Whites who owned no slaves, almost eighty percent of the South’s population, had the value of their labor diminished. Family farmers found it difficult to compete in agricultural markets with the cheap labor provided by slaves on the plantations. Even in many semi-skilled professions, it became difficult for independent White craftsmen to earn a decent wage competing against inexpensive slave labor.

Today, it is easy to see the destructive role of slavery, but those who condemn the founding fathers have no real understanding of history. Slavery was a socially accepted institution for ninety-nine percent of the history of mankind. In many cultures, from the most primitive ones in darkest Africa, to the enlightened ones of Greece and Rome and right up to our own early American republic, families of wealth and prestige often owned slaves.

Even the most loving person who ever walked the earth, Jesus Christ, never uttered a word against slavery, an institution which was prominent all around him. At one point in the scriptures, at the request of a slaveholder, Christ heals his slave. Did Christ instruct him to free the slave? No, he just praised the slaveholder and expressed the wish that all people should have so great a faith. (Luke 7) For his tacitly accepting slavery, will the school board members who attend church also want to extirpate Jesus Christ from their sanctuaries? Will they propose to burn the New Testament because escaped slaves are told to obey their masters and that slaves must be returned to them if they escape.? (1 Peter, 1 Timothy, 2 Titus, Ephesians) The strongest admonishment of the New Testament toward slaveholders is for them simply to treat their slaves kindly.

How does Mr. Pitts reconcile the debasement of George Washington by Black historians while they eulogize African tribal leaders who murdered tens-of-thousands of Blacks, and who without compunction enslaved and sold thousands of Blacks to the slavetraders? According to the new political correctness, White leaders in history who owned slaves are moral lepers, but Black historical figures who did so are “great Black men.”

Hollywood characterizes slavery in the American colonies as a suffering unique to the Black race, yet as researcher Michael Hoffman has shown, contrary to modern notions, many thousands of Whites were slaves in the early colonial life. Many more hundreds-of-thousands of Whites faced the slave-like existence of indentured servitude, where under a limited contract, many were worked to death. Their masters often sought to extract every morsel of work from them before their contract expired. One should not forget that slavery permeated the entire world and all continents. In antiquity, slavery was once the terrible price paid by most nations defeated in war. Countless millions of our White ancestors knew the lash of the slavetrader, the pain of the loss of liberty, and the ignominy of a forgotten death. Slavery was certainly not a suffering unique to the Black race.

In North America, slavery was unique only in the fact that it was the kindest expression of it on earth. American Whites treated their Black slaves far better than African Blacks treated their own Black slaves. For this are Whites to be condemned?

On Sunday, November 30 of this year, Sixty Minutes had a program that revealed to a mostly ignorant public, the fact that slavery flourished in Africa long before the White man came and that it continues to this very day. The story depicted an environment of poverty and brutality that would make colonial slavery seem benign in comparison. In Africa today a Black can be born a slave, in America, he cannot.

One illustration of the difference between Whites and Blacks on the question of slavery, is that while historically both Whites and Blacks practiced it, resistance to it has always been led by Whites. In America, Whites composed ninety-five percent of the underground railroad, while in Africa there were no known Black crusaders who rose up with moral indignation against the institution. Africa never had, nor has today, an underground railroad. The observant cannot help but notice that there is no world-wide Black crusade to free their enslaved brethren. Compare that lack of zeal to Black and liberal hysteria against Apartheid South Africa, a society where there was no slavery and the best quality of life for Blacks in all of Africa.

In many of my media appearances with Black leaders, I point out how that if they are to condemn the White race for slavery when only ten percent of the American people practiced it for a period of about two hundred years, how do they feel about their own race which practiced it in Africa from uncounted thousands of years to the present. A black child today in America has far greater chance of having an ancestral slavemaster, than does a white child.

Madison Grant, the great naturalist who had a pivotal role in the conservation efforts of early twentieth century America, grew painfully aware of the need to preserve and nurture the founding stock of our nation. He viewed such as just as vital as preserving its flora and fauna. He said that America “sold its birthright to solve a labor shortage.”

While a small class of planters and slavetraders amassed great fortunes, the average Southerner suffered an economic bondage born of slavery. Ultimately, slavery drove the two regions, North and South toward the most terrible of American wars, the War Between the States; the greatest loss of life and property ever sustained by our nation. Not only did it take the grievous toll of a million lost lives, the war cost our people billions of our best genes. They were the genes of genius and honor, of self-sacrifice and bravery, of strength and beauty. Most of the causalities were too young to have passed on those precious traits to the generations ahead. The war erased many thousands of the best of our kind from our gene pool. It incurred a genetic debt that we still pay for today and perhaps will feel forever in our genetic makeup.

Into the vacuum left by the loss of the prime manhood of the nation, came the great waves of immigrants who began to gnaw at America’s foundations. Although most eventually assimilated, the process weakened the homogeneity and bonding of America. As the peripherally European, tired and hungry masses came in over the next half of a century, they encouraged America to turn its eyes back to the old world conflicts, and helped America become embroiled in the two great wars of the twentieth century. Such set the pattern of drawing us into the conflicts of the rest of the world, especially the Third World. As America went into those nations, so those nations are now in us. The conquered absorbs the conqueror.

Slavery is the great tragedy of America, and it is still the source of our greatest problems. All this has nothing to do with its morality as an institution. Unjust institutions can be reformed or abolished, and a nation can survive, even prosper afterward. Its real damage has been that it placed a people in our midst who as a group have little aptitude for our technology, no empathy with our culture, no adulation for our history and heroes, and no love for us, only resentment for perceived past wrongs. We notice the racial attitude gap most readily on racial litmus tests, such as in reactions to the O.J. Simpson verdict, or the extirpation of George Washington from our schools.

The stark reality is that the rift cannot be healed. There is a chasm between the races as genetically determined as the color of our skin, the formation of our skull, and the very brain itself. Forged by a hundred thousand years of icy winters faced by our ancestors, and eons of the easy living tropics for theirs, the differences are burned into the architecture of our natures. There is no remedy for the division. There is no cure. It may be mollified for a while, but the inevitable approaches.

America will split asunder as the unassimilable minorities take over the political landscape and remake it in their alien image, or there will be a great revolution in which Whites will regain the nation of their forefathers. I believe that American Whites will awaken from their lethargy in the early years of the next century, and act decisively to save both their heritage and their nation- reclaiming their birthright.

The history of mankind is one long repeated story of great migrations of tribes, races, and nations. Movement of millions of people created the present realities of America, and future migrations of masses of people will occur again, driven by their dreams and their destiny. Blacks will eventually have a land they can call their own, theirs alone. It will be a society of their own making in accordance to their racial soul. It will judge itself by its own vision, not by that of the Western world. It will not be a land in which I would choose to live. Certainly, it shall be alien to our European nature, but it will be a society in which they will find harmony with their own kind and their own evolution.

Our people too shall have our own homeland. Our people have already fought and bled for it, cultivated it, and built our civilization upon it. It will remain ours. We will rediscover the things that are truly important to us. Our society will reflect our nature, our spirit, our science, our eventual evolution to a higher man, who, once having the earth firmly beneath his feet, will turn his eyes to the heavens.

Our people have passed through the stone age, the bronze age, the iron age, the steam age, the nuclear age. We have entered simultaneously the early part of both the computer age and the genetic age. Our people approach the next great step in their long evolution, a process that will accelerate their development many times faster than a millennium ago. The power of our people’s will and their genius put our footsteps on the moon. As we use our talents to unlock the secrets of the genes, we will usher in a higher mankind that will cross the universe.

Our great adventure into the cosmos will not be launched by men who devalue our forefathers in the name of multi-racial political correctness. It shall be done lovingly by men and women who revere our ancestors, who treasure our heritage, and who are committed to our security on this planet, our evolutionary progress, and our destiny in the stars.

In saying that to Blacks, George Washington has a much meaning as David Duke, Mr. Galmon is accurate. Non-Whites view Washington and all our founding fathers with the same trepidation that they currently view me. The truth is that unless White people begin to listen to me, and those in political life similar to me, their children will someday walk as strangers in their own land.

May 15, 2011 | Rock guitarist Carlos Santana may have reached a new low in hate speech against American workers when he took to a microphone on the field before the Atlanta Braves-Philadelphia Phillies game yesterday.

In response to being given a civil rights award, “the Beacon of Change Award,” Santana indicated that unemployed Black, Hispanic and White Americans who want jobs held by illegal aliens are as “racist” as those who turned the hoses and dogs on Martin Luther King and civil rights protesters in the 1960s.

His voice echoing through the stadium sound system, Mexican-born Santana told the pre-game baseball crowd in Atlanta that they should be ashamed of themselves for allowing their state officials to enact a law that requires businesses to use E-Verify to ensure that jobs go to legal workers.

I represent the human race. The people of Arizona, the people of Atlanta, Georgia, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Santana met with media after the game started and expanded upon his hatred of unemployed Americans. He said Georgia’s new E-Verify law is based on racism and economic anxiety.

This is about fear, that people are going to steal my job. No we ain’t. You don’t clean toilets and clean sheets, stop shucking and jiving.

Wow! First, I’m impressed that he uses the “we” to identify himself with the illegal foreign workers. And he uses the “you” to address the Black, Hispanic and White Americans who are unemployed and are complaining about an estimated 425,000 illegal foreign workers and dependents in Georgia competing in the labor market.

But Santana, like most pro-illegal-immigration activists, doesn’t have the slightest idea about the reality of American workers.

He doesn’t know that the majority of hotel housekeeping employees are Americans. He doesn’t know that the majority of custodial workers are Americans.

Santana is like most bigots who speak, not from knowledge or facts, but from the emotional hatred stuck in their guts.

Let’s take a look at the Americans Santana is calling racist for wanting laws to keep employers from keeping Americans unemployed by hiring illegal foreign workers.

Of young American adults aged 18-29 with only a high school degree:

  • 40% of all these young adults don’t have a job.
  • 43% of the Hispanic-American young adults don’t have a job.
  • 50% of Black Americans of this group don’t have a job.

But Santana says these Americans don’t deserve any sympathy because, according to him, they are just “shucking and jiving” when they complain that they should have jobs instead of the illegal foreign workers.

About Georgia’s mandatory E-Verify law, Santana said:

It’s an anti-American law. it’s a cruel law, actually. If you all remember what it was like here with Martin Luther King and the dogs and the hoses. It’s the same thing, only its high tech. So Let’s change it.

The dogs and hoses were about keeping AMERICAN CITIZENS who were black from enjoying full rights, including full participation in the ECONOMY.

Georgia’s new law is about protecting AMERICAN CITIZENS, who disproportionately are black, from being barred from economic participation by employers who prefer illegal foreign workers.

The people of Georgia who supported and pressed for the new mandatory E-Veriy law were operating in the best traditions of the Civil Rights movement and should have been given the civil rights award at the baseball ceremony.

Instead, the ceremony was dominated by Santana who shamed himself and tarnished the civil rights tradition with his hateful diatribe against the most vulnerable members of our national community.

The 63-year-old native of Mexico, who became a U.S. citizen in 1965, used the opportunity of receiving the Beacon of Change Award to scold Arizona and Georgia for passing legislation aimed at undocumented immigrants and was subsequently booed.

66% Say Private Sector Employees Work Harder Than Government Workers

 

Most Americans still believe government workers work less and make more money than those employed by private companies. Yet while the majority also thinks government workers enjoy more job security, they’re less convinced of that than they were a year ago.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that only 11% of Adults think those employed by the government work harder than workers in the private sector. Sixty-six percent (66%) say those employed by private companies work harder. Twenty-three percent (23%) are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Still, that’s a little less negative view of the government work force than Americans have expressed in the past. Seventy-one percent (71%) felt those in the private sector work harder in December 2009.

Fifty-two percent (52%) now think the average government worker earns more annually than the average private sector employee, down from a high of 61% last April. Twenty-six percent (26%) disagree and say government workers do not earn more, while 22% are not sure.

Sixty-three percent (63%) of Americans also believe that government workers have more job security than those employed in the private sector, a number that’s been trending down from 77% in surveys since April 2010. Fifteen percent (15%) say government workers have less job security, and 14% say the level of job security is about the same.

Fifty percent (50%) of government workers agree with 71% of those employed by a private company that the latter work harder. But while 57% of those who work in the private sector think government employees earn more than they do, government workers are narrowly divided on the question.

Seventy-one percent (71%) of private company workers feel government employees have more job security, too. Sixty percent (60%) of government workers share that view.

Investors believe more strongly than non-investors that government workers don’t work as hard and have more job security. Just over half of both groups agree that government workers are paid more.

Sizable majorities of Republicans and adults not affiliated with either major party think government workers are better off than private sector employees in all three areas. Just over half of Democrats agree that government workers have more job security and don’t work as hard, but they’re closely divided over whether there is a pay difference between the two groups.

Most voters continue to feel that tax cuts and decreases in government spending help the U.S. economy. Only 25% of voters prefer a government with more services and higher taxes over one with fewer services and lower taxes.

The government released a report on Friday showing surprisingly little job creation in May and an increase in the unemployment rate. Nearly one-out-of-three Americans (31%) predict that the unemployment rate will be even higher a year from now. Thirty-four percent (34%) believe it is good for the economy if the government hires more people. But 40% think more government hiring is a bad economic move, while 15% say it has no impact.

The Rasmussen Employment Index, which measures workers’ perceptions of the labor market each month, increased in April and May, with confidence back to its level at the beginning of the year. Still, 19% of working Americans report that their firms are hiring, while 23% say their firms are laying workers off. It has been nearly three years since the number reporting that their firms are hiring has topped the number reporting layoffs.

Support remains high for requiring voters to show photo identification before being allowed to cast their ballots. An increasing number of states across the country are putting that requirement into law.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 75% of Likely U.S. Voters believe voters should be required to show photo identification such as a driver’s license before being allowed to vote. Just 18% disagree and oppose such a requirement. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Eighty-five percent (85%) of Republicans support a photo ID requirement at the polls, as do 77% of voters not affiliated with either major party and 63% of Democrats. But then support for such a law is high across virtually all demographic groups.

Supporters of photo ID laws say they will prevent fraud at the polls; opponents insist the laws will discourage many including minorities and older Americans from voting.

By a 48% to 29% margin, voters think that letting ineligible people vote is a bigger problem than preventing legitimate voters from casting a ballot.

A plurality (46%) of Democrats thinks it’s more common for eligible voters to be denied their right to vote. Seventy-two percent (72%) of Republicans and a plurality (44%) of voters not affiliated with either party, on the other hand, believe that illegal voting is more prevalent.

Only one percent (1%) say they have ever been illegally denied the right to vote.

Just after last November’s elections, 17% of voters believed large numbers of people were allowed to vote who were not eligible to vote. Forty-three percent (43%) said that wasn’t the case, but nearly as many (40%) weren’t sure.

Support for showing photo ID prior to voting has ranged from 75% to 82% since June 2006.

The  Political Class, however, is not so sure. While 84% of Mainstream voters believe voters should be required to show photo identification before being allowed to vote, those in the Political Class are evenly divided on the question.

Similarly, while most Mainstream voters (54%) say it’s more common for people to vote illegally than for legal voters to be denied their right to vote, the Political Class is evenly divided.

Just 54% of voters now think American elections are fair. Fifty-three percent (53%) feel most members of Congress get reelected because election rules are rigged to benefit incumbents. Only 17% believe most congressmen get reelected because of the good job they do representing their constituents.

One-in-five Americans believe individual states have the right to break away from the country, although a majority doesn’t believe it will actually happen.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 21% of American Adults think individual states have the right to leave the United States and form an independent country. Most (64%) believe states do not have this right, while 14% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Belief in the right of individual states to secede has been creeping up from February 2010 when only 14% agreed.  In June of last year,  18% said states have this right.

However, only 29% of adults feel it’s at least somewhat likely that some states will try to leave the United States over the next 25 years or so. This finding includes 13% who believe it’s Very Likely. But 62% say it is not very or not at all likely that some states will secede from the union. These findings are nearly identical to those found last year.

Just 19% believe it’s at least somewhat likely that the United States will split up into regional groups of states in the next 25 or so years, down from 23% a year ago. Seventy percent (70%) say this outcome is not likely. These results include eight percent (8%) who believe it is Very Likely the country will break up into regional groups and 27% who say it is Not At All Likely to happen.

Seventy-three percent (73%) think it would be bad if the United States split up into regional groups of states. Just eight percent (8%) feel that would be a good thing, while 19% more are not sure.

Men are more than twice as likely as women to believe states have the right to secede. But there’s virtually no disagreement between the two over the likelihood of states breaking away either individually or in regional groups.

Republicans and adults not affiliated with either major political party believe more than Democrats that states have the right to secede and that some are likely to do so in the next few years. But, still, a majority of all three groups view secession as unlikely.

There’s also little partisan disagreement that it would be a bad thing if the United States split up into regional groups of states.

In the midst of the legal battle between the U.S. Justice Department and the state of Arizona over the latter’s new immigration law, 67% of Likely U.S. Voters said a state should have the right to enforce immigration laws if it believes the federal government is not enforcing them.  However, voters are still divided over whether the federal government or individual states should be the primary enforcers of immigration laws.

Polling in April found that 41% of Likely Voters believe the federal government should establish a single standard for all health care regulations. However, slightly more voters (45%) say states should be allowed to establish their own individual standards for health care regulation.

More voters than ever oppose the new law’s requirement that every American must have health insurance and think states should have the right to opt out of some or all of the health care law.

In April 2009, a comment from Texas Governor Rick Perry was widely interpreted as suggesting voters in that state might consider secession “if Washington continues to thumb their nose at the American people.” At that time, 31% of Texas voters said the state had a right to secede from the union and form an independent country. But if put to a vote, 75% preferred to remain in the United States.

There is an unfortunate adage for the unemployed: The longer folks are out of a job, the longer it takes them to find a new one.

CBS News correspondent Ben Tracy reports that the chronically unemployed face the hardest road back to recovery, and that while the jobs picture may be improving statistically on a national level, it is not for them.

Tinong Nwachan, for example, has far too much time on his hands. When CBS News met the former truck driver he had been out of work for two years.

“I don’t really tell too many people this but I’m not ashamed or nothing, I’m homeless,” Nwachan said.

 

His day job is looking for work at a jobs center in Hollywood. He has plenty of company, including Fabian Lambrecht, who wonders when the economy’s improvement will affect them.

“They’re saying there are more jobs. I’m just wondering where those jobs are,” Lambrecht said.

About 6.2 million Americans, 45.1 percent of all unemployed workers in this country, have been jobless for more than six months – a higher percentage than during the Great Depression.

The bigger the gap on someone’s resume, the more questions employers have.

“(Employers) think: ‘Oh, well, there must be something really wrong with them because they haven’t gotten a job in 6 months, a year, 2 years.’ But that’s not necessarily the case,” said Marjorie Gardner-Cruse with the Hollywood Worksource Center.

The problem of course is the economy, but some industries, especially certain manufacturing jobs, are not ever expected to come back. Experts say unemployed workers need to be prepared to change careers.

“That person has to realize that, discover what field they want to work in, become trained and find a job in that field,” said Jerry Nickelsburg, Sr., an economist at UCLA.

Here’s another problem: more than 1 million of the long-term unemployed have run out of unemployment benefits, leaving them without the money to get new training, buy new clothes, or even get to job interviews.

“If you have been unemployed for 6 months or more, it takes a much deeper toll – not just on your personal finances and your career prospects – but on your emotional well-being,” said Paul Taylor, an executive vice president with the Pew Research Center.

Tinong Nwachan said no matter how hard it’s been, he isn’t giving up on his search.

“I’m taking everything one day at a time. Eventually I know I’m gonna find something,” Nwachan said.

All he says he’s hoping for is a job that will take more of his time, and take him off the streets.

I’ve thought a lot about the direction of this blog over the weekend. There are some areas which I am very satisfied with and others I think we could spend a lot more time on.

In particular, I think we have produced some awesome material about African-Americans and their role in Black Run America. The analysis here could be a lot better though if it was balanced by devoting more of our time to exploring what life is like for White people under the present racial caste system.

White people are the real subject of this website, not African-Americans.

Who are White people? Does anyone know? As strange as it sounds, White people are a sorely neglected subject in the racially aware community. They are commonly thought of as “lemmings” or as some type of vague idolized racial abstraction.

We tend to pay a lot more attention to what African-Americans, Hispanics, or Jews are up to in America than to what White people are thinking and saying in this country. It recently occurred to me that we barely know White people and this hinders our ability to relate to and connect with the White community.

There are well known sites which focus exclusively on Jews and African-Americans. I don’t believe there is a pro-White website though that really draws attention to White people and discusses their social problems with the appropriate level of analysis. We hope to take up this burden and carve out a little niche for ourselves here in the process

What kind of social problems are typically White?

(1) Suicide – Suicide is the one form of violence that is monochrome in Black Run America.

In 2007, there were 34,598 suicides in America. Of those, 28,897 suicides were White. 2,394 suicides were Hispanic. 370 suicides were Indian. 878 suicides were Asian. 1,916 suicides were African-American. 1,248 suicides were were other.

83.5 percent of suicide in Black Run America is White. Now there is a racial gap you never hear described as a moral crisis that in anyway discredits the present system or warrants any kind of compelling explanation.

In case you were wondering, there were 5,512 White homicide victims in 2007, but there were 28,897 White suicides. Also in 2007, there were 8,746 African-American homicide victims, but only 1,916 African-American suicides.

If African-Americans murder each other in Black Run America, White people usually kill themselves because they find their lives meaningless and unbearable in our society.

(2) Political Pessimism - Giving up on America is another typically White activity.

According to the latest Rasmussen polls, 52 percent of African-Americans believe that America is heading in the right direction, but just 22 percent of Whites agree.

8 percent of Americans believe it would be a good thing for America to split up and think that it is very likely to happen. 19 percent of Americans believe the dissolution of the Union is likely to happen in the next 25 years.

29 percent of Americans believe it is somewhat likely that a group of states will attempt to secede. From February 2010 to June 2011, the number of Americans who believe that states have a right to secede from the Union has risen from 14 percent to 21 percent.

53 percent of Americans see the federal government as more of a threat to their rights than a protector. 33 percent of Americans believe the federal government is more of a protector and 14 percent are unsure and cannot make up their minds.

46 percent of African-American adults see the federal government as a protector of their rights. 56 percent of Whites see the federal government as more of a threat to their rights.

69 percent of Americans consider themselves “angry” with the federal government. 39 percent of Americans believe we live under a constitutional government. 28 percent of Americans believe the federal government has the consent of the governed.

41 percent of Americans see a difference between patriotism and being a good citizen. 57 percent of Americans would rather be good citizens than patriots. 27 percent would rather be patriotic.

Who do you suppose wants to secede from Black Run America? Who do you think believes the federal government has no legitimacy?

(3) Economic Pessimism – Whites are sour on the economy.

89 percent of American adults believe that college graduates will have a hard time finding a job in this economy. 56 percent claim it will be very difficult.

Among families with kids who are graduating high school or college, 95 percent say it will be difficult to find a job including 75 percent who believe it will be very difficult.

According to Gallup’s “2011 Economics and Finance poll,” 64 percent of non-Whites are in favor of “wealth redistribution” as opposed to 44 percent of Whites.

(4) Racial Anxiety – Ronald Brownstein has yet another article out that discusses rising White racial anxiety about changing demographics.

53 percent of Whites told the National Journal that “the demographic trends are troubling because they are happening too quickly and will change America’s fundamental character.”

39 percent of Whites told the National Journal that “the demographic change continues the American tradition of welcoming immigrants and will strengthen society and the economy.”

By a 2 to 1 margin, Whites believe that Obama’s agenda is reducing their opportunities to get ahead in society.

Over 2/3rds of Asians and African-Americans and 3/5ths of Hispanics believe that they enjoy more opportunities than their parents did at the same age.

Among Whites, 36 percent say they have more opportunities than their parents to get ahead in society. 36 percent of Whites disagreed. 25 percent say they have about the same amount of opportunity.

The most striking racial difference that separates Whites from non-Whites is how they see the future: 24 percent believe their children will have more opportunity to get ahead, 26 percent believe they will have about the same amount of opportunity, and a stunning 43 percent see less opportunity for their children to get ahead.

57 percent of African-Americans, 56 percent of Hispanics, and 37 percent of Asians think their children will have more opportunity to get ahead when they are their age.

(5) Beached White Males - In “Language of Rebellion,” we saw that the White working class was the most pessimistic and alienated group in American society, with White men and White women both entertaining the same deeply negative view of the future.

According to the latest National Journal poll, college educated White men believe their children will have less opportunity in the future by a 5 to 1 margin.

It is time to hold the official funeral for the lemming. White people are rapidly losing faith in Black Run America. They do not trust the government or believe the lies about progress which are peddled by the mainstream media.

In the Obamanation, White male professionals, White male small business owners, and White male factory workers (seen most vividly in the suicides below) are all for once thinking on the same wavelength … we are headed in the wrong direction, the future will be worse than the past, and our children will likely inherit a world that is poorer and worse off than our own.

They are convinced that something has to be done about this. The race crisis has been perceived by White people even if its magnitude has not been fully grasped yet.

This is the second installment in OD’s investigation into the crucially important and neglected topic: Who Are White People?

In recent weeks, the term “Boomerang” has entered our lexicon and we have been using it ever more frequently in our analysis of Black Run America.

A “Boomerang” is a White Millennial who attended college in the Bush/Obama years and who was probably an Obamaniac in 2008. After graduating from college and entering the workforce, the Boomerangs discovered that there wasn’t much of a job market that matched their education and skills.

The Boomerangs moved back home to live with their parents like 85 percent of college graduates now do these days in the Obamanation. Lots of Boomerangs now find themselves unemployed, working part time jobs, putting off getting married and having children, and burdened with student loan debt they have no hope of ever repaying.

Half of last month’s job growth was provided by McDonald’s. White Millennials went to college and mortgaged their lives to big banks to work at McDonald’s for Barack Hussein Obama, Our Great Leader.

Last year, I poked fun at a triumphalist book called “Permanently Blue” which forecasted a permanent Democratic majority largely on the basis of White Millennial support for Obama in the 2008 presidential election.

I sensed at the time that the “youth vote” for Obama was probably more of a sign of desperation and economic frustration than anything else. It wasn’t a real verdict on Obama or Democratic policy positions.

I also pointed out the irony that White Millennials were being counted as solid Democratic voters on the basis of one election cycle when the “Greatest Generation” and “Boomers” which created postwar America – most strikingly, the White working class, which was once the base of the Democratic Party – had turned so sharply against it and had evolved into the Tea Party.

In 1984, Ronald Reagan won 49 states in a landslide election. I’m not drawing attention to this because I have any particular love for The Gipper. The point is that you could never have predicted the 1984 election result on the basis of the Boomers involvement with the 1960s counterculture.

I said at the time:

“What makes progressives think the Millennials won’t turn on them as well? If anything is true, the White Millennials are even more likely to turn on them, and far more radically, as they and their children will be the ones who inherit the Minority-Majority, decades of racial conflict, and a bankrupt Third World America.

The Millennials are now graduating from high school and college. In a few years, they will be in the real world and outside the indoctrination centers, trying to establish independence from their parents. Let’s see how racial harmony fairs in the long run in Depression conditions and a zero sum game of racial conflict over scarce resources.”

Looking into the future, I predicted that White Millennials would emerge from their college cocoons and find themselves in a Great Depression world. It actually turned out to be worse than the Depression.

The children of White Millennials will inherit a world that it even poorer, marked by even greater racial strife, and where Whites feel even more imperiled than this one.

The Boomerang Future

The key insight is that the economic future of White Millennials will be radically unlike the conditions which led to the creation of Black Run America.

In the 1960s, Americans walked on the moon and declared a war on poverty. They watched the Jetsons on television and imagined themselves living in space by now. In the 2010s, Americans are going to space for the last time and the poverty rate is soaring.

Historically speaking, the liberalization of White racial attitudes in the United States has been driven by three critical factors: conflict with a White foreign power like the Soviet Union, the assurance of white supremacy, and economic prosperity.

Correspondingly, White racial attitudes have tended to harden in historical conditions when the reverse is true: long periods of peace with other White nations, when Whites feel threatened by social revolution from below, and in times of scarcity and economic decline.

I have believed for years now that energy scarcity and the systematic mismanagement of the American economy would one day recreate something like the Jim Crow world in the American South.

By that I mean the federal government is too corrupt and incompetent to effectively respond to its terminal problems (future White historians will find the Paul Krugman archive to be a goldmine) and that the long term result of this will be a slow economic decline and the gradual reemergence of a rural agriculture based economy in this area.

I can envision a world which has somehow has managed to combine abandoned Wal-Marts and deteriorating suburbs being torn down for salvage with cell phone service with sharecropping. I can see our descendants getting to town on trains, motorcycles, and small electric vehicles.

Having seen a preview of the future on Black Memorial Day 2011, I don’t believe for a second that our present racial illusions (in which we pretend that African-Americans are just like us and pay them off with EBT cards, African-American studies programs, and TANF welfare to keep quiet) will survive this transition.

Changing Boomerang Attitudes

It is way too early to make any long term projections, but there are already clear signs that economic anxiety is beginning to influence White Millennials in the positive manner which we have described.

(1) There is a new Heartland Monitor poll which contains an interesting result that inspired this article: Barack Obama has lost more ground with White Millennials than with any other White demographic.

Obama’s support among White Millennials is down a full 10 points from the 2008 exit polls. He is down 3 points with Whites over 65, down 2 points with college educated White men, and down 3 points with White Boomers.

Without the support of White Millennials, Obama would have lost Indiana and North Carolina in the 2008 election. Combined with the souring of White elderly and middle aged voters, Obama would have lost Florida and Ohio as well.

(2) This poll was taken on May 18-22 and comes fresh on the heels of the death of Osama bin Laden. It shows an 8 point surge in approval among Republicans and other White demographics which all reflect the bounce from this good news.

But still, only 22 percent of Whites believe that Obama is increasing opportunity for people like them, which is his lowest rating ever among Whites on the economy. It is very interesting that such a huge foreign policy success had so little impact upon White Millennials who were seen on television celebrating at the White House and Ground Zero.

We predicted at the time that the euphoria would fade and that reality would quickly set in. It took less than two weeks.

(3) The New York Times is reporting that Obamamania has cooled even at such unlikely places as Oberlin College in Ohio, the first integrated college in America, and which has been a trendsetter and bastion of leftwing utopian lunacy for over a hundred and fifty years now:

“In a conversation after the symposium, he spoke of a love affair that, to a palpable degree, had wound down. “It started hot and heavy,” he said. “And with extremely idealized notions. Then a reality dawned in the way that a once charming laugh becomes an irritating giggle: He’s a politician who no longer corresponds to the grand ideas that many students had in their heads about him. And that’s deflating and disheartening for them.”

If Oberlin students are shrugging their shoulders and becoming politically disengaged, the hardcore vanguard of the progressive left, then how much more disillusioned must White Millennials be on campuses like the University of Wisconsin or the University of Virginia which are crucial to an Obama victory in 2012?

Final Thoughts

The lesson of this article is that people change.

White America is changing before our eyes. White people are losing hope about the future. They are losing faith in the ability of their elected representatives to improve their lives and even to represent their views in Congress.

The status quo is bankrupt. The federal government and the mainstream media have lost their legitimacy to govern and guide public opinion.

White racial attitudes are lagging behind these other changes, but we have polling data and many other lines of evidence which indicates that racial resentments are there and could burst out into the open in the right historical conditions.

We have to be in a position to take advantage of these changes. White people are changing and we are going to have to change to join forces with them. That means shunning people like Alex Linder who spit on the people we ought to be reaching out to.

America is on the brink of a devastating cascade failure.  Its proximate cause will be economic.  Monetary instability, spiraling taxation, and budgetary insolvency at every level of government will result in America’s third world enclaves descending into third world depravity.  The federal government – pinned between its aggravated creditors and dependents – will resort to desperate measures to delay the implosion of its ambitious social engineering experiment.  The bubbles of malinvestment which have kept places like Los Angeles, Detroit, and New York City from descending into martial law will implode.  The modernist delusions that Americans have been operating under for several decades will implode with them.

While the trigger will probably be economic, the root cause of this impending disaster isn’t.  The root cause lies in matters of demographics, heritage, and national sovereignty.  Our monetary pyramid scheme has bought us several decades of deceptive prosperity.  It has allowed us to believe that we can replace our American people with third world invaders and still have a first world country.  It has allowed us to believe that we can export our factories and jobs and still have a first world economy.  It has encouraged us to drift away from our Western and Christian traditions, and toward a Utopian delusion of globalist hogwash.

The cascade failure may come as the greatest fools in the pyramid scheme, the People’s Republic of China, realize that the financial instruments that they’ve been receiving in exchange for manufactured goods are worthless.  Our nation would have had to come to terms with its decline in vitality and productivity decades ago had it not been for the international bankers and global corporations pulling off the biggest confidence scam in human history. With its implosion, the delusions that have existed inside the bubble will implode with it.  We Americans will have to adjust to a new reality.

In this new reality, America has been splintered by reckless social experiments.  Our federal government has become a weapon of the international bankers.  Vast regions of America have become so overwhelmed by third world invaders that they’re unrecognizable.  In this new reality, the last will be first and the first will be last, with states like California and New York descending into martial law and states in the heartland retaining the human resources and natural resources to rebound.

This book is for Hoosiers who either live in the new reality or have the foresight to see it coming.  It’s a celebration of our unique heritage and a roadmap for finding our way back to safety, sovereignty, and righteousness.  It explores who we are, what makes us who we are, and how we can retain our heritage in the coming struggle.  The Hoosier nation isn’t an alternative to the American nation; it’s an attempt to rescue what’s left of it.

Hoosier Nation – Traditional America

 

Traditional America is the nation that the silent majority of us inhabit.  It’s the nation that our forefathers envisioned when they wrote the Declaration of Independence.  It’s the nation that our forefathers carved out of the wilderness.  It was an ocean away from Europe, but it was distinctively European in both the heritage of its founders and the principles they stood for.  It’s a nation which is overwhelmingly White, Western, Christian, and rural.

Many of us are nervous about referring to our racial heritage, but our European roots are integral to our nature, our temperament, and the kind of civilization we’re inclined to design.  But it’s even more specific than just “White”.  We are largely descended through both blood and tradition from three populations within Europe: the British, the Scotch-Irish, and the Germanic peoples of Western Europe.  Our embattled constitutional republic is merely the latest manifestation of an ancient tradition among our people of open, just, and limited government which predates the Magna Carta, the Hellenic democracies, and even the “thing assemblies” of our tribal ancestors.

The country was founded on shared principles by people of a shared heritage.  They demanded equality, not in the Marxist egalitarian sense, but in the more important sense that they all deserved justice and dignity.  They demanded freedom, not in the modernist sense of irresponsibility and licentiousness, but in the more important sense that they all deserved freedom of expression and the pursuit of happiness.  They demanded a just and accountable government, one carefully balanced to keep justice and democracy from contradicting one another.

While several Christian (and some secular Enlightenment) traditions thrived in this new country, the Protestant denominations proved dominant in both numerical strength and cultural influence.  The Protestant work ethic, with its humility and its emphasis on honest dealings, had the natural consequence of spawning the world’s foremost economic powerhouse.  Through industriousness, they created capital.  Through simple living, they saved and invested that capital in productive enterprises.  Through honest dealing and respect for the rule of law, capital and goods were able to flow freely and smoothly without the bribes, shakedowns, and fraud which are endemic throughout the rest of the world.

There were many streams of men which were poured from Europe and into the traditional American melting pot.  They were, however, from Europe, and they did melt into the pot. The overwhelming majority of contemporary immigrants are a different breed altogether, gravitating toward the major cities and aggregating into inassimilable exclaves of their foreign lands.  The true test of an immigrant population is whether it’s inclined to integrate into the small towns in America, into the folk of the nation.  This is a test that only immigrants of European heritage have proven capable of passing.

While it had its faults, America was a nation which fostered a healthy, productive, and open society.  But, most of all, it was our nation.  We inherited a heritage and a tradition worthy of being proud of, worthy of defending.  But our traditional American nation which was once so defiant, confident, and hopeful, has been duped into accepting a worldview which embraces and celebrates our decline and eventual extinction as a moral crusade.

The globalists are importing third world populations by the tens of millions, populations which are reproducing at an alarming rate with government assistance while our own families struggle to have any children at all.  The government projects that we’ll be a minority within a couple decades at the current rate of replacement, but the rate is sure to increase as those populations grow in political strength and leverage that power to accelerate their conquest.

Steadily and quietly, we’ve been forced out of our major cities.  Increasingly, we’re forced out of the suburbs – into “exurbs” and beyond.  Our cost of living has grown dramatically and our tax burden is growing.  We are relegated to the back of the line for the decreasing number of available jobs.  We’re being squeezed from every direction.  Politically, socially, economically, and demographically, we traditional Americans are being marginalized.

Most disgracefully of all, we remain utterly voiceless and complicit in our marginalization.  We accept the lexicon of our opponents and their rules of engagement.  We have to call it Affirmative Action rather than racial discrimination.  Paradoxically, we accept that we’re being bigots for even objecting to that racial discrimination.  We have to call it illegal immigration rather than a hostile invasion, and we are only allowed to frame the debate in a legal context – as if the only problem with tens of millions of third world invaders is that they’re not filling out the proper forms before invading us.

The other America, Global America, is the televised America, the institutional America, the multicultural, multiracial, multinational America.  It’s unified by neither heritage nor creed. When they do state their principles, their statements are vague and largely reactive.  Their “American Dream” is to come here and get money.  Their common creed is tolerance for all things except for those things unique to the traditional American nation.  Their common vision is a vague and soulless global amalgamation.

If we traditional Americans don’t snap out of the habit of apologizing, backpedaling, and slipping farther and farther out into the wilderness, we’ll reach a point after which we no longer have the ability to defeat them.  From door-to-door and from state-to-state, we must light a fire of defiance in the hearts and minds of traditional Americans before it’s too late.  We have to return to our Christian roots, our founding principles, and our Anglo-American heritage as rallying points.

We were once the strongest and most admired people in the world, and we can be so again. But to do so requires a return to first principles, a return to our heritage, and an awakening of national spirit.  We need to awaken the fiercely independent, uncompromising, industrious, and humble spirit of our pioneer forefathers.  But we must not only awaken, we must act!  Being awake is pointless if you never get out of bed.  One person at a time, one state at a time, we need to awaken traditional Americans to their heritage and mobilize them to defend it.

Hoosier Nation – Hoosier Heritage

 

The origins of the word “Hoosier” are contested.  Different stories have been passed down, some with more plausibility or credibility than others.  Some popular variants rely on the proposition that there was a Mr. Hoosier working on some project, whose men happened to be from Indiana.  According to these variants, the men on these projects proved uniquely hardy and industrious and the name stuck for people from this area.

One story goes that rivermen in Indiana were very good at “hushing”, a pugilistic competition.  It is from these “hushers” that the word Hoosier allegedly derived.  Another story goes that the frontiersmen of Indiana would cry out “Who’s here?” upon encountering another person, which sort of sounds like Hoosier.  One legend goes that our ancestors were so rowdy and our bar fights so vicious that people would have their ears bitten off, prompting people who found the severed ears to ask “Whose ear?”

A more likely (if perhaps less amusing) explanation is that the word derives from the Old English word “hoo”, which means highlands.  Hoosier would be synonymous with highlander, with all of its connotations of roughness and independence.  While most contemporary Hoosiers regard the word as a benign demonym, it’s likely that the term began with negative connotations and retains them for most non-Hoosiers who are familiar with the term.

Derogatory stereotypes often have a grain of truth to them, and I am convinced that we have more than our share of hermits with cars up on blocks outside of their trailers.  We lack the social graces of Southerners and the refined idealism of Yankees.  A Hoosier isn’t appropriately described as a redneck, as redneck implies identification with Southern heritage and customs.  A Hoosier is, to borrow a derogatory term, a hillbilly.

While contemporary Indiana hosts several populations, the founding population overwhelmingly originated from Appalachia.  These primarily Scotch-Irish pioneers, descendants of the highlanders of Europe, changed very little from their ancestors.  Just as in their homeland, they were fiercely independent, restless, and clannish.  While the English and Continental settlers clung to safe and fertile settlements, entertaining cosmopolitan concerns about the Native Americans as “noble savages”, our ancestors fought with them as uncivilized warriors – on roughly equal terms – and steadily advanced Westward.

To say that they “settled” Appalachia and the Midwest would be misleading.  Our ancestors weren’t the settling type.  Even today, in Indiana, the descendants of the Scotch-Irish pioneers who arrived through Appalachia more frequently dwell in rusted trailers and small shacks while the business of establishing businesses and building affluent communities has been left to those of English and Germanic descent who followed behind us.  Even today, when there’s no frontier left in America, we remain restless, standoffish, and fiercely independent – out of sync with a very settled, mild, and codependent age.

As civilization advanced from the Middle East and throughout Europe, the mountainous periphery of Europe, the highlands, hosted the last remnants of pre-civilized Europeans. While Babylon, Greece, Rome, and London were developing increasingly organized and refined civilizations, our ancestors were still wearing face paint and battling amongst themselves in the idyllic forests of Western Europe.  We are innately less civilized, and I believe that this is not only cultural. I believe that civilization eventually affects the blood, cooling the warrior spirit and replacing the uncompromising warrior mentality with a more subdued, patient, and meek mentality.

The specialists, craftsmen, and proprietors of the small towns and cities strengthen a nation in a way that the highlander can’t.  They establish industry, build schools, supply munitions, and foster a strong economy.  However, the advent of the global city brings with it the advent of the rootless cosmopolitan.  Oswald Spengler aptly describes this phenomenon in The Decline of the West:

Long ago the country bore the country-town and nourished it with her best blood. Now the giant city sucks the country dry, insatiably and incessantly demanding and devouring fresh streams of men, till it wearies and dies in the midst of an almost uninhabited waste of country.

… In place of a type-true people, born of and grown on the soil, there is a new sort of nomad, cohering unstably in fluid masses, the parasitical city dweller, traditionless, utterly matter-of-fact, religionless, clever, unfruitful, deeply contemptuous of the countryman and especially that highest form of countryman, the country gentleman.

It’s not that folks from the trailer parks of Orange County or the isolated shacks of Crawford County are less intelligent than the Germanic citizens of Dubois County.  A cursory review would certainly lead one to conclude as much, but the variance is one in temperament, not intelligence.  The hillbilly is sharp enough, but he’s less patient, less focused.  This served his ancestors well in a more impulsive and violent past, but manifests as a handicap in a civilized present that rewards patience and punishes passion.

While the Hoosier may be less well-mannered than the Southern gentleman, he’s also less restrained by protocol and less tolerant of taking orders.  While the Hoosier may be less patient with abstract theories and ideals than the Yankee, he’s also less vulnerable to being brainwashed.  The English and Germanic Americans may have been the primary drivers of American economic and cultural achievement, but they wouldn’t have had a continent upon which to settle were it not for our heroic and uncompromising conquest of the frontier.

This is not to say that we Hoosiers don’t have culture, it’s just more primal in nature.  While the civilized citizens of the coasts and cities conducted masterful symphonies, our forefathers crafted crude dulcimers and banjos from the wilderness around them and created powerful folk music.  While the citizens perused their classics, our ancestors studied our bibles.  While the citizens held elaborate and fanciful banquets, our ancestors got together on random occasions to party, play their backwoods instruments, sing their backwoods songs, and drink their backwoods moonshine.

The conditions we live in would be unacceptable to your typical New Yorker, our table manners would frighten your typical Georgian, and our parties wouldn’t be tolerated in Western saloons.  But for all of its faults, our heritage may be unique in America because it’s the least vulnerable to the challenges we face.  Unlike Southerners, we won’t follow our leaders to oblivion out of deference to class and protocol.  Unlike Yankees, we can’t be duped by ideologues with their byzantine logic games into handing over the country our ancestors fought to win.  It’s very possible that we, and we alone, hold the power to rescue the American nation from the brink of destruction.

But to accomplish this, we have to lead the way, setting an example for other Americans to emulate in embracing their own heritage.  We have to stop and reflect on our Hoosier identities, celebrating what we retain of our heritage and reviving what we’ve lost.  If you pronounce “wash” as “worsh”, continue to do so.  Embrace your Hoosier twang and resist the popular culture which equates our accent with inferiority.  If you live in a mobile home and drive an old truck, save that money you were going to spend to buy “respectable” things and start respecting yourself for a change.

Many Hoosiers live in nice homes, drive late-model sedans, and have never pronounced “toilet” as “turlit”.  Indiana was settled by a variety of traditional Americans, and the objective is to embrace your tradition.  If you’re one of the many people in Indiana who has been raised in the city or among cosmopolitans, you’re in the enviable position of being able to embrace whichever traditional American identity you prefer.

The point isn’t to accomplish some anachronistic equivalent of a Renaissance Fair, but to truly revive our traditional identities.  Just as the Renaissance artisans and philosophers reached back to the Classical Era to reawaken the spirit of Western Civilization, we need to reach back to the founders and pioneers to reawaken the spirit of America.  Luckily, we only have to look back mere decades.  Better yet, we can take the time to visit the elderly and isolated folks who continue to exemplify traditional America.

Tune out the trash being poured in from the coasts and turn up the local culture.  Listen to (classic) John Mellencamp with the windows rolled down.  Better yet, buy a dulcimer and learn to play traditional folk songs.  Attend a high school basketball game.  Better yet, get some of your friends together and shoot some hoops at a basketball goal nailed to an old barn.  Spend time with your friends and family.  Better yet, challenge your friends and family to a euchre tournament.

If you have children, or interact with children throughout the day, expose them to Hoosier heritage.  When they’re being persistent, tell them about Johnny Appleseed.  When they’re exploring new places, tell them about Daniel Boone.  Capture their imaginations with stories about Davy Crockett, jokes told by Ben Franklin, and feats accomplished by Paul Bunyan.  Even tell them about the courage of Tecumseh.

We must reconnect future generations with our traditional worldview.  Otherwise, they’ll have little choice but to absorb the one pushed in their public schools, in their morning television, and in their children’s books.  They’ll learn to admire the plagiarizing womanizer MLK and the corrupt kleptocrat LBJ.  They’ll learn to reflexively frown on their own ethnic pride as “fascism” and smile upon the ethnic pride of others as “civil rights”.  They’ll dismiss Jesus Christ as a pernicious myth and accept human perfectibility through social engineering as a sacred truth.

Some of this process will be academic, requiring one to sit down and figure out what a Hoosier is.  But most of it will be natural.  When we stop assuming that our own worldview and way of life is inferior to the cosmopolitan worldview and way of life, the rest comes naturally.  When we turn off our televisions and start engaging with fellow Hoosiers who cherish their heritage, then the Hoosier identity will be reinvigorated with little deliberate effort.

Hoosier Nation – Hoosier Families

 

No man is an island.  The proposition that humans can be or should be truly autonomous and independent entities is intoxicating in its simplicity and internal consistency, but it is inconsistent with mankind’s social nature, circumstances, limitations, and survival.  The libertarian logic of individualism is an erroneous abstraction and a dangerous distraction, one which robs us of our very humanity.

Families, communities, and nations aren’t parasites upon the individual.  If anything the individual is a parasite upon them.  Our roles within these institutions aren’t merely “social constructs” to be deconstructed; they’re products of our natural roles, roles embedded in our spiritual, biological, psychological, and external circumstances.  Women are meant to be wives, mothers, daughters, and sisters.  Men are meant to be husbands, fathers, sons, and brothers.  To “liberate” yourself from your natural duty is to abdicate your responsibility – to betray your family.

When the institution of the family suffers, so too do the individuals within the family.  Additionally, the communities and nations which rely upon those families suffer.  All of them are interdependent.  The traditional gender roles, customs, and institutions are functional (if imperfect and fluid) systems which, contrary to cosmopolitan opinion, have a logic that is too subtle, organic, and complex for us to carelessly engineer without jeopardizing our very survival.

All of this is not to say that free will, autonomy, and individual dignity are to be discounted.  In fact, the Western traditions of independence and equality are themselves traditions, organic traditions with roots buried deep in our tribal European past.  Therein lies the apparent paradox.  If we replace the Anglo-American tradition of individualism with the individualist sophistry of ideological libertarians, Ayn Rand, and the global capitalists, then we’ll replace an individualist tradition which has been proven to work for millennia with an individualist fantasy which corrodes and vilifies the national and traditional institutions upon which sustainable individualism has been attained.

Women in the West, and in America in particular, have received more autonomy, options, and dignity than they’ve received in any other society.  They were, however, bound by custom to fulfill their natural roles as mothers and wives.  Western men have had more freedom of speech, thought, and behavior than men elsewhere, but were also bound by custom to fulfill their natural roles as fathers and husbands.  These roles, roles that men and women are innately suited toward and typically most fulfilled within, are both natural and necessary roles.

Far too frequently, traditionalists blame women for pursuing careers, refusing to have an abundance of children, and behaving promiscuously.  While multicult indoctrination is certainly a factor, traditionalist males would do well to examine our own complicity.  Over the last few decades, males within our society have descended into a malaise of video games, booty calls, quickie marriages, quickie divorces, fraternal childishness, and masturbatory self-gratification.  The kind of man that a traditional woman can truly depend on is an endangered breed.

Our transition from a family-oriented society to a money-oriented society has relegated the role of nurturing a family to that of a burden – a burden which biology places more heavily on women than on men.  Nurturing a family has been displaced to the periphery of contemporary life, a phenomenon which is evidently corrosive and unsustainable.  A people who fail to breed, feed, and lead future generations will either go out with a whimper or a bang – but they can only go out.

New Harmony, along the bank of the Wabash River, hosts the ruins of the Harmony Society, a communal religious order organized by the charismatic evangelist George Rapp.  It’s no mystery why their social experiment lies in ruins.  The members chose, for reasons of religious purity, to maintain their chastity.  If we continue down the course we’ve been led down, then future civilizations will find the ruins of our own civilization, a civilization which chose the equally unsustainable lifestyle of material excess.

Rather than blaming contemporary women for their feminism or contemporary men for their decadence, we need to start with ourselves as individuals.  Do we as men have the self-discipline and integrity to inspire obedience and fidelity in our wives?  Do you as a woman inspire and demand the best from your husband?  Are you truly putting your family first?  Have you called your mother?  Are you doing everything you can do for your grandmother?  Are you preparing your children to succeed as future husbands, fathers, wives, and mothers?

While many folks pay lip service to the importance of family, their choices frequently expose their true priorities.  Children who are raised by their own mother in a mobile home are more enriched than children raised in daycare so their mom can pursue her career and live in a McMansion.  Children whose fathers spend time teaching them how to repair their own cars and grow up to be independent men and women are more enriched than children raised by a distant and distracted father who pays for their college and buys them a late-model car on their sixteenth birthday.

If your brother’s a drug addict, don’t settle for the excuse that he’s an independent adult.  Adult independence is a legal construct, not a moral construct.  Be your brother’s keeper.  Get up in his personal business.  Intervene.  Sometimes there’s only so much you can do, but don’t rest until you’ve done exactly that much.  In the traditional America, family members, friends, and even perfect strangers within the community understood and acted on the necessity of mutual support.

We can only foster genuine and sustainable independence by fostering familial and community interdependence.  We won’t need government welfare when our neighbors reach out to help.  We won’t need a stable monetary system when we have the ingenuity and social networks to innovate our own trade and commerce.  With tight families and cohesive communities, we can become a truly sovereign state of truly free individuals.

Hoosier Nation – Hoosier Tribalism

John Mellencamp croons in his heartland rock anthem “Pink Houses” that “There’s a black man with a black cat / Livin’ in a black neighborhood” / Who “[thinks] that he’s got it so good.”  The image conjured of a peaceful and humble old man is heartwarming.  It’s also true.  Millions of Blacks in America are honest, respectful, and respectable ladies and gentlemen.  Many Blacks in America are small farmers.  Many are happily married with children.  Unfortunately, this is only part of the truth.

For every admirable Black man in America, how many thugs, gang members, and wretches are there?  For every Black man in America who is independent, how many are hopelessly dependent?  For every Black man in a little pink house, how many Black men are rotting in prison?  How many Black men are drug dealers?  How many Black men are pimps?

Honest appraisals of racially sensitive topics are hard to come by.  Realistic and compassionate solutions to racial problems are even harder to come by.  To even state the problem is taboo and to propose that we solve the problem conjures frightful imagery of Nazi concentration camps and Southern lynch mobs.  Naturally, any solution which is either genocidal or relies on terror is a terrible one which defies our moral convictions and spills innocent blood.

Yet the problem continues to get worse and worse.  While the state of Indiana is still overwhelmingly White, ethnic ghettos of Blacks and Hispanics have turned sections our largest and most promising cities into third world “No-Go” zones.  The financial costs of supporting these slums have only worsened as those slums have grown.  Their astronomical rates of rape, murder, and theft have shattered thousands of Hoosier families.

Their presence has also driven us in a different direction from where we planned to go as a people.  Who would have thought, only decades ago, that Indiana would be sending a leftist Muslim to represent our state in congress?   And yet he stands there in our nation’s capitol, negating virtually everything that we stand for and believe in.

Additionally, their presence is no longer only felt in our large cities.  There are neighborhoods in the town of Jasper where English is of little use.  Even my own small and economically depressed hometown of Paoli sports a Mexican restaurant and a Mexican grocery store.  While that vanguard may seem benign, their people will follow behind them and Paoli will assuredly suffer from the negative effects of Hispanic immigration (both legal and illegal).  Even Johnny Appleseed’s gravesite memorial in Fort Wayne is covered in abhorrent graffiti scrawled on its walls by the Black Gangster Disciples.

None of these groups wish to become Hoosiers, and it’s doubtful that they’re even capable.  They have their own heritage, their own ideas about what their communities are to look like, and their own plans for the future.  Even the so-called “model minorities” like the East Asians and Indians have their own visions and attitudes which are different from our own, visions and attitudes that they are that much more capable of realizing because of their abilities.

Failing to realize the corrosive effect that Black migration to Indiana has had on the state requires willful self-deception.  Presuming that this wave of Hispanic immigration will seamlessly integrate into America’s traditional folkways requires a failure to realize that none of the dozens of generations of Hispanic immigrants to America could be bothered to do that.  Failing to realize that the gifted elites we’re shipping in will do what gifted elites do (manipulate and control the peasantry) is inexcusable.

This subject is very uncomfortable to most contemporary Americans, even to those who are familiar enough with the situation to recognize the dangers we face.  We’ve been trained to associate asking questions about our fate as a people with the most pathetic, ignorant, shameful, and disastrous things.  But it is imperative that we begin to frankly and openly discuss issues of identity, sovereignty, and destiny.  If we fail to assert and defend our identities and our communities now, then the traditional American ethnic identity will soon be lost altogether.

Naturally, the best way to avoid these problems is to never introduce them in the first place.  This is the idea that Indiana’s leaders surely had in mind when penning Article XIII of the Indiana State Constitution:

Section 1. No negro or mulatto shall come into or settle in the State, after the adoption of this Constitution.

Section 2. All contracts made with any Negro or Mulatto coming into the state, contrary to the provisions of the foregoing section, shall be void, and any person who shall employ such Negro or Mulatto, or otherwise encourage him to remain in the State, shall be fined in any sum not less than ten dollars, nor more than five hundred dollars.

Section 3. All fines which may be collected for a violation of the provisions of this article, or of any law that may be passed for the purpose of carrying the same into execution, shall be set apart and appropriated for the colonization of such Negroes or Mulattoes, and their descendants, as may be in the State at the adoption of this Constitution, and may be willing to emigrate.

This position of our forefathers (repealed now) is so terrifying and humiliating for contemporary bureaucrats that it’s impossible to find it at the state’s historical websites.  But imagine how Indiana would look if it had been honored.  Imagine Gary and Indianapolis as cities where it’s safe to raise a family, where the schools don’t need police officers, and where the streets are safe to walk.  Imagine the untold millions in law enforcement, imprisonment, repairing vandalized buildings, and attempting to “revitalize” deteriorating neighborhoods that would be back in our pockets.

Hundreds of thousands of Hoosiers have been forced to migrate to suburbs like Carmel and Crown Point as disastrous social engineering projects targeted their children for forced “integration”.  Thousands have been murdered, raped, or burglarized and thousands more have suffered the depressing presence of the graffiti, vandalism, and general decadence endemic to these ghettos.  This is a burden that they’ve accepted with silence, the great problem which everybody knows about but only speak about with hushed whispers among trusted friends.

To hear the elites in the media, government, and academia tell it, the whole problem is our fault.  This is despite the fact that Indiana as a state rejected slavery from the beginning.  This is despite the fact that Hoosiers were overwhelmingly descended from classes and groups which had no part in slavery.  This is despite the fact that many Hoosiers are themselves descended from indentured servants.  This is even despite the fact that nearly 75,000 Hoosiers were killed or wounded in a Civil War which freed the slaves.

Ironically, White elites in America were the ones who owned the slaves, the ones who enriched themselves in shipping them here, and the ones who now blame an innocent Midwestern White working class for the problem without the slightest compunction.  When these moral prophets grace our television screens, our podiums, our pulpits, and our lecterns to cast blame on White Americans for the racial problems in America, they’re neither pointing the finger at themselves nor placing the consequences on themselves.

They can afford to move to gated communities, communities within which they still frequently have immigrant nannies and gardeners in various states of abject servitude.  If there’s anger (“hate” in the contemporary parlance) to be assigned, it’s most properly assigned to our own leaders, our own politicians, our own professors, our own preachers, our own priests, and our own businessmen.  To become angry at the minorities themselves for their corrosive impacts on our communities is as sensible as becoming angry at the rainwater dripping on your head while your brother is tearing holes in your roof.

The obvious solution to the hole we’ve been placed in is to stop digging.  Unfortunately, our elites consider it critical to their continued dominance and central to their warped sense of morality to dig this hole until it caves in on us.  Only a grassroots groundswell from working Hoosiers to reclaim our sovereignty over our state and our state’s sovereignty over itself can solve this problem.

As things stand right now, our focus must remain on cleaving to our own tribe and its traditions, convincing fellow Hoosiers to join us in our nascent uprising, and gathering strength to depose our overlords and reclaim sovereignty.  Once this is done, the entire infrastructure of incentives for invaders to be here will vanish and most of the invaders will vanish with it.  If a handful of kind Black folks remain in little pink houses after all of the egregious welfare, Affirmative Action, and forced integration policies are discarded, then we’ll wave at them with sincere Hoosier hospitality as we drive past.

Hoosier Nation – Hoosier Politics

 

The practical and independent spirit of Hoosiers in political matters was epitomized by the Copperhead movement during America’s Civil War.  This movement, pervasive in the Midwest and most prominent in Indiana, has been largely forgotten in the narrow and biased historiography of our contemporary textbooks.  A large swath of Hoosier farmers were refugees from slave states, bringing with them a bitter contempt for wealthy aristocrats and a familiarity with Blacks.

Many saw the secession as an opportunity to rid themselves of the South and its intractable problems.  Few shared the interests of the Northern industrialists in subjugating the South and fewer still entertained the idealistic delusions of the Yankee abolitionists.  They were guided by a simple and organic libertarianism typical of subsistence farmers and hillbilly hermits.

Senator Daniel W. Voorhees, perhaps Indiana’s truest statesman, epitomized not only the spirit of Indiana during the Civil War, but the very essence of Hoosier politics.  Kenneth Stampp describes him poetically in the following excerpt from his book, Indiana Politics During the Civil War (1949):

There was an earthy quality in Voorhees, “the tall sycamore of the Wabash.” On the stump his hot temper, passionate partisanship, and stirring eloquence made an irresistible appeal to the western Democracy. His bitter cries against protective tariffs and national banks, his intense race prejudice, his suspicion of the eastern Yankee, his devotion to personal liberty, his defense of the Constitution and state rights faithfully reflected the views of his constituents. Like other Jacksonian agrarians he resented the political and economic revolution then in progress. Voorhees idealized a way of life which he thought was being destroyed by the current rulers of his country. His bold protests against these dangerous trends made him the idol of the Democracy of the Wabash Valley.

Indiana has certainly changed a lot since then, and one can only imagine how frightened and outraged our contemporary senators would be to hear a country gentleman stand before them and represent the honest and true interests of his constituents.  The “tall sycamore of the Wabash” may have died long ago, but the spirit of the Wabash Valley lives on, however muddied and muted, in our apartments and our trailers, in our family farms and our factory floors.

If one can envision Voorhees confronting McCain, one can begin to understand what happened in the 2008 presidential election, one in which Indiana surprised the nation by abandoning its “Red State” tradition.  While Democrats would like to claim that Hoosiers had a dramatic change of heart, the statistical data confirms that we lost heart.  The cosmopolitans, foreigners, and Black underclasses of Indianapolis and Gary came out in force for their messiah and the Hoosiers treated John McCain like a pariah.

But after decades of being openly betrayed and insulted by McCain, how were they supposed to react?  This is the same McCain who dismissed evangelical Christians as “agents of intolerance”.  This is the same McCain who has made it his personal mission to grant amnesty and citizenship to tens of millions of illegal invaders.  This is the same McCain who angrily dismissed supporting family farmers as “pork” while vowing to continue sending the sons and daughters of those farmers to die in the desert for Israel for the next hundred years.

Rather than learn an obvious lesson from the Democrats who had effectively rallied their base to victory, the Republicans earned their nickname “The Stupid Party”.  They appointed some random Black guy, Michael Steele, to lead the party in a craven attempt to embrace diversity.  Steele has supported Roe v. Wade, gay marriage, an unconstitutional ban on assault rifles, and (of course) Affirmative Action.  The GOP has made it very clear that they would just rather not have Hoosier votes, and are making strong efforts to reach out to the Hispanic invaders and hip-hop thugs who are rapidly replacing traditional American voters.

Every Hoosier must make a private decision as to whether to try to revive the GOP or embrace an alternative like the Constitution Party, but they must resist the impulse to abandon political activity.  Engaging in political activity does not even require either voting or joining a political party.  There are some fine organizations, like the Council of Conservative Citizens, which enable us to organize and make a difference without compromising our principles.

Our options for defending our way of life through peaceful means are growing fewer and fewer with each passing year, which is why it’s imperative that we begin organizing on a local level immediately.  The science is in, the statistics are freely available, and our opponents are openly working to replace our America with its globalist cosmopolitan regime.  The time has passed when Hoosiers could plead ignorance.  The only explanation for inaction at this point is cowardice.

Hoosier Nation – Hoosier Economics

 

America’s economic foundation was originally built on agriculture, industry, and innovation.  Over the last century, this foundation has been steadily eroded.  The family farm gave way to agribusiness.  The manufacturers went overseas.  Rather than the practical and technological innovations of Henry Ford and William Shockley, America now innovates the financial instruments of Michael Milken and Bernie Madoff.  Where we were once the world’s creditor, we are now the world’s debtor.  Where we were once the world’s exporter, we are now the world’s importer.

While our trading partners have jealously protected their industries, America has been held hostage to the dogma of “free trade” and globalism.  Even industries which are vital to our national security are carelessly shipped off to our rivals.  Even our farms are now tilled by third world invaders at the behest of global corporations.  We once enjoyed the independence and security that only working off of the land or earning an honest day’s wage for an honest day of work allowed us.  Now we are more and more frequently resigned to working multiple service jobs as we struggle to avoid foreclosure and repossession.

Millions of American workers have been forced to trade in their overalls for fast food uniforms.  Millions of Americans who once truly owned land now either rent apartments or pay mortgage payments to the faceless global conglomerates that actually own everything.  Even those who truly own their land are bled dry by spiraling property taxes.  The theft of our country is not some abstract thing.  Chances are that your home, your car, and much of the rest of what you “own” is only yours at the discretion of the money changers who wield the ability to seize it from you as soon as you fall on hard times.

Americans are inclined to fall back on their Protestant instincts, blaming themselves for becoming decadent, not working hard enough, not saving, investing, and scrimping diligently enough.  There is some truth in this, and it is true that our predicament is ultimately our fault.  But our culpability originates in our failure to defend our monetary system and our treasury from opportunistic financiers.  Even our new “consumer culture” can be largely traced back to enticements and propaganda bought by the parasites to induce more bleeding.

When our country signed on to the Federal Reserve Act in 1913, we put the welfare and ultimate fate of our nation in the hands of private banking interests.  Since that fateful decision, our monetary system has been driven away from honest money in the form of commodities and toward debt currency.  Steadily and patiently, the moneychangers have lured us into a system which is bleeding us dry.

We must now work at a feverish pace just to pay the interest on the trillions of debt amassed by previous generations.  We must now borrow trillions from our rivals, increase taxes, conjure up new taxes, and inflate the money supply just to escape the threat of foreclosure on a global scale – a crushing depression.  We are encouraged to fork over tens of thousands to get college degrees because it’s harder to support your family without a degree.  Then the bar is raised even higher, and even a four year degree no longer guarantees a decent living wage.

There is, however, a way out.  If Indiana secedes, repudiating the federal deficit and switching over to honest money, then within a matter of years, we can recover.  By returning to our founding principles, we can very rapidly regain both liberty and prosperity.  Contrast the wise counsel of Ben Franklin, of avoiding unnecessary spending and patiently investing with the counsel of the international bankers and their Keynesian stooges who claim that excessive consumerism, consumption, and credit are the solution.

In fact, Ben Franklin claimed that the American Revolution was largely propelled by the same situation Indiana now finds itself in relative to our federal government –

The colonies would gladly have borne the little tax on tea and other matters had it not been that England took away from the colonies their money, which created unemployment and dissatisfaction. The inability of colonists to get power to issue their own money permanently out of the hands of George the III and the international bankers was the PRIME reason for the Revolutionary War.

There are multiple valid perspectives on every sizable issue, and it’s inappropriate to entirely frame our predicament in strictly economic terms.  However, our capitulation to debt slavery is a primary cause of our current financial misery.  Moreover, it is the primary source of funds for our opponents to wield in the other fronts.  It’s the primary reason why piles of books, hours of cable news shows, and reams of print media are produced in defense of their institutionalized embezzlement while patriots like Dr. Ron Paul have to rely on YouTube videos and volunteers to try to reach people with the truth.

Hoosier Nation – Hoosier Religion

Much of America’s founding population had fled to the New World to escape the oppressive and degenerate quasi-religious bureaucracies of Europe.  It’s no accident that our founding fathers, a group with a diverse range of religious perspectives, designed this nation with religious freedom in mind.  America in general and Indiana in particular served as a Petri dish of religious expression.  Most of the experiments, like the New Harmony community in Southern Indiana, failed – but others have proven quite durable.  While some, like the Peoples Temple of Jim Jones ended in disaster, others, like the Amish and Mennonite communities that are flourishing here, may ultimately prove more durable than the society around them.

Two defining characteristics of religiosity in Indiana are its universally Christian character and its liveliness.  Religion throughout Europe and among the cosmopolitans in America has been relegated to a status of lifeless ritual, struggling to remain relevant by cravenly following the modern trends.  An uncompromisingly Christian worldview remains, however, throughout much of America’s heartland.

This worldview is embattled in Indiana, as it is elsewhere, by the dual forces of scientific discovery and modernism.  Scientific discovery, with its emerging portrait of an Earth randomly positioned in the Universe which is billions of years old, apparently contradicts the vision of a recent creation of mankind.  Modernists feign an alliance with science, but it is an uneasy one at best, since research threatens to topple their own idols of human interchangeability, environmental determinism, racial nihilism, Keynesian economics, and Freudo-Marxist Utopianism as surely as it threatens a literal seven day interpretation of Genesis.

Progress depends on our steadily working to reconcile our faith with our knowledge.  This does not necessarily imply compromise and does not necessarily imply capitulation to a godless and reductionist worldview.  It certainly does not, as the cosmopolitans confidently declare, imply a rejection of God in favor of their barren humanist platitudes.  If anything, research shows that the most traditional and faithful populations are the most sustainable and content.

While a casual stroll through a nursing home followed by a visit to a high school cafeteria shows a seismic shift in Indiana’s people from traditional folks to “citizens of the world”, Indiana’s transformation has been slower than most states.  Behind the superficial facade of chain restaurants, strip malls, and ranch homes smolder the warm embers of the once-vibrant core of Jacksonian democracy, of a unique and distinct Anglo-American ethnonational spirit.

Biographer William Manchester borrows from David Riesman in defining three general types of people in “American Caesar”, a biography of General MacArthur…

“The world may be explained in sociological terms. David Riesman describes three basic social personalities in The Lonely Crowd. ‘Other-directed’ people pattern their behavior on what their peers expect of them. Suburban America’s men in gray-flannel suits are other-directed. ‘Inner-directed’ people are guided by what they have been trained to expect of themselves. [General Douglas] MacArthur was inner-directed. The third type, the ‘tradition-directed,’ has not been seen in the West since the Middle Ages. Tradition-directed people hardly think of themselves as individuals; their conduct is determined by folk rituals handed down from the past.”

While Riesman is generally accurate about the decline of the tradition-directed type in Western Civilization, he fails to recognize that specimens of this category remained in the rural periphery of Europe, particularly among the Scotch-Irish highlanders, into contemporary times.  Their disappearance from the record is merely an artefact of their invisibility to the city dwellers who document these matters.

In their “Appalachian granny magic”, their folk rituals, folk remedies, and folk tales, these last practitioners of European tradition survived throughout Appalachia and the Southern Midwest up until very recently.  Luckily, much of this has been recorded in the popular and informative Foxfire series of books, books which explain how to hand-craft a mountain dulcimer, how to plant by the signs, and how to live a traditional life with the plentiful resources available in America’s rich wilderness.  Interviews with faith healers and other mystics dwelling in the hills and hollers of the forest provide an insight into a worldview which has gone from ubiquity to near extinction within a couple generations.

Our world is now one in which man looks outward to his fellow man when seeking to improve his condition and downward toward material progress when seeking hope and faith.  We were once a truly Christian nation, one which looked inward toward our own sinful nature when seeking to improve our condition and upward toward the heavens in matters of hope and faith.  Christianity as we know it is unlikely to survive in this spiritual vacuum, replaced by a humiliating spectacle of youth pastors beat-boxing for Jesus and “Christian Zionist” warmongers invoking God and scripture to lend gravitas to their bloodthirsty campaigns of imperial aggression.

Returning back to our traditional and religious roots will likely require turning our backs on our contemporary religious institutions.  To the extent that they read into scripture dangerous notions of globalism, humanism, and imperial warfare, they are hostile to our Christian republic and its foundations.  Many of them, converted to a monetary worldview, fight obsessively to end financial poverty in the far corners of the globe while turning a blind eye toward the moral bankruptcy festering in their pews.  It would be great if they would serve as uncompromising sanctuaries for their congregation instead of sanctuaries for hostile foreigners for a change.

This question of faith and worldview is not merely an academic or sentimental one.  America’s military strength lied in its vanguard of Scotch-Irish warriors whose traditional worldview and religious conviction propelled them into battle.  America’s economic strength lied in its Protestant work ethic and its Christian aversion to wastefulness, usury, and debt.  America’s diplomatic strength lied in its status as a light unto the other nations.  Perhaps even God’s favor, which appears to have granted us two centuries of blessings and safety, may be withdrawn as our government and its minions turn their backs on him.

Hoosier Nation – Hoosier Sovereignty

 

We’re not leaving America, America left us.  This federal government, with its colonies of cosmopolitans and third world slum dwellers, never did share our founding principles. It’s openly hostile to the traditions of the founding nationality from which those principles emerged.  This regime not only ignores our constitution, it assails our constitution.  This regime not only ignores its constituents, it is engaged in a plot to abolish the electorate and appoint a new global constituency.

This chapter is titled “sovereignty” and not “secession” because it is sovereignty, and not necessarily secession, which we must rally to defend and must not compromise.  If we can persuade the federal government to honor the 10th Amendment right to govern ourselves then secession will be unnecessary.  Since that prospect is very unlikely, secession will almost certainly be our only alternative to subjugation.  Self-governance is our right under the laws of God, nature, international law, and our constitution.

Skeptics and opponents will tell us that the Civil War changed all that, that it meant that states are no longer what they were envisioned to be by our founders, but are now merely administrative districts of the federal government.  Might doesn’t make right, and a deeper investigation of history shows that hundreds of nations throughout history have managed to throw off the yokes of their overlords and become independent.  Within the last couple decades, the powerful military machine of the Soviet Union failed to thwart several states declaring and receiving their independence from Moscow.  Even starving and powerless Africans managed to defy their European imperial overlords and assert independence.

Our federal government appears invincible at the moment, but this is superficial.  Its apparent strength is built on the most unstable foundation conceivable.  It relies on borrowing the greatest amount possible from increasingly impatient foreign governments against empty promises for unlimited usurpation of the unlimited wealth of future American workers.  It relies on taxing hundreds of millions of Americans to the very limits of what they can bear.  It relies on the threadbare fiction retained by its subjects that it’s both legitimate and stable – and it is neither.

Only time will tell how or when the bubble will burst.  It will not endure.  Like all bubbles of speculation and subterfuge heaped upon speculation and subterfuge, it relies on the illusions in the hearts and minds of its participants.  When this illusion is compromised, the foreign investors will come after the trillions they’ve already lent and shut off the trillions which were required to pay the compounding interest on the trillions it already borrowed.  What additional debt it will be able to amass will be much less, and at a dramatically higher cost.

While money is just money, this nation has become an asylum.  It requires trillions in imprisonment, policing, capital infusion into third world enclaves, and multicult propaganda just to hold off a descent into martial law.  If the welfare checks pouring into Detroit started to bounce, or the currency which they rely on became totally debased, millions of third world gangsters would become desperate and radicalized.  If our prisons experience a cascade failure, our streets will flood with the MILLIONS of deviant wretches that our federal government has worked so diligently to hide from us.

This doomsday scenario is not something which merely could happen, it’s something which is imminent.  California is leading the nation in both fiscal insolvency and the staged unraveling of government services which threatens to snowball into anarchy.  Assuredly, Washington won’t let California burn, and will call upon its creditors and the other 49 states to bail the state out.  It must be understood that California cannot be saved.  The state government cannot save itself.  Demographic and social forces much larger and more important than a mere state budget guarantee that California, and several states like it, will become entirely dependent upon federal aid to stave off implosion.

But it won’t actually stop the pain.  It will only transfer that pain onto those states and communities which haven’t been entirely inundated with hostile and unproductive invaders.  At some point, Americans in general, and Hoosiers in particular, will grow increasingly hostile and unproductive themselves.  They’ll grow to resent what little wealth they can create in these difficult times being plucked from their fists just to buy some time before the inevitable implosion of the federal government’s social experiments.

But while the wholesale implosion of the federal government is imminent, we can’t be premature in our reaction.  We can’t act until the average Hoosier realizes that secession is our only option.  At the time of this writing, the federal government is still omnipotent, the federal fiction is still believed by the majority of Hoosiers, and the federal government has managed to avoid inflicting pain in the form of outrageous taxation.  Sure, taxes and inflation are painful right now, but they’ll be stunningly worse in the near future.

Our task now is not to begin seceding, but to work to awaken our friends, family, and neighbors in Indiana to the situation.  Even if they don’t believe you, even if they look at you like you’re crazy, tell them anyway.  What will appear crazy to them at the moment will appear prophetic to them when these events unfold.  Loan them a copy of this book, as a mere novelty for their amusement.  At the very least, offer them some inkling of awareness of our existence and our message, so that they’ll know what to do and who to listen to when they do have ears to hear.

Hoosier Nation – Hoosier Survivalism

 

Assuring the survival of your family and your countrymen requires first and foremost that you assure the survival of yourself.  Effectively resisting the federal government requires that you learn how to survive independently of it.  Much of this work is hard work, unrewarding work, secretive and difficult work.  It is, however, essential work, more important than any other work you can do.  Our cause absolutely requires that we in its vanguard survive and remain free.

If you don’t already live on your own plot of land in the country, try to do so.  Living out in the wilderness offers a degree of insulation from whatever madness is unfolding in the towns and especially in the larger cities.  It offers a degree of privacy as you take steps to assure your survival which the federal government fears.  It also offers access to the land, which you may need to live off of if the federal and corporate infrastructure disintegrates.

At the very least, prepare a “bug-out bag” for yourself and your family members.  Create a backpack for each of you which contains enough food, water, and supplies to last for a couple days in the event of a crisis.  If you have friends or relatives who live in the country, this bag can hold you over until you make it to their home and ask for refuge.  If you find yourself pursued by federal agents for violating one of their intrusive regulations, this bag can allow you to survive on the lam.  If a job loss and spiraling inflation ruin you financially, this bag can be something to turn to when you’ve exhausted all of your alternatives.

Stock up on firearms and ammunition.  This is wise for a few reasons other than the obvious reason of empowering you to defend yourself and your loved ones.  Ammunition and firearms hold a relatively stable value even in times of peace, and become much more valuable as barter items in times of uncertainty and danger.  While gold and precious metals will almost certainly prove wise stores of value if the federal fiat currency becomes worthless, weapons and ammunition will prove to be more practical exchange items in the critical first few days and weeks of a nightmarish unraveling of polite society.

While owning land, having a bug-out bag, and stocking up on some weapons and ammo are things that nearly everybody can and should do, those are really the bare minimum.  There are a few great books on the subject of survivalism, books which are very practical and detailed, which delve into the details of food storage, gardening, livestock production, and surviving “off-grid”.  Bear in mind that even my warnings prove to be entirely baseless, there’s an exhilarating sense of empowerment that comes from assuring the welfare and independence of yourself and your family.

Turn off the television, but don’t settle for boredom.  Buy a mountain dulcimer and download folk songs off of the web to play for your friends and family.  Learn how to play euchre and host a weekly night of playing euchre, playing Cornhole, and jamming with folk instruments.  Don’t throw away your television altogether, but stock up on the classics, the old Disney animation classics for the children, the Westerns, and the legendary films like Passion of the Christ.  Take the steps necessary to assure that this transition is as welcome as possible by investing time and energy in superior alternatives.  Whatever you do, avoid imposing boredom and risking demoralization for your loved ones and yourself.

Perhaps the most effective propaganda of all is realizing true independence in your lifestyle and habits.  Your living of a simple, enriching, and independent life which is immersed in family and tradition can only gnaw at the threadbare patience of your friends and neighbors who remain on the soul-sucking hamster wheel of modernity.  Nothing persuades folks that something is possible and desirable more than accomplishing it yourself and enjoying the fruits of your accomplishment in plain sight.

Hoosier Nation – Hoosier Activism

 

Becoming an angry citizen is a start, and inspiring an angry mob is a next step, but it takes more than awareness and numbers to become a movement.  Countless groups have risen up, only to be crushed by the superior designs or brute force of their opponents.  Countless groups have gathered, only to become stuck, descending into infighting and irrelevance.  Transcending the pitfalls and becoming a successful movement (rather than a “stuckment”) is both a science and an art, one which is frequently propelled to success by chance and timing.

To defeat the enemy, one must first define him, then one must defy him, and finally one must destroy him.  While the federal government is the largest and most omnipresent threat, it’s merely an institution which is controlled and manipulated by the enemy. One difference between a cat and a dog is that when you throw a stick in its direction, a cat will look at the stick, while the dog will look at you.  We must be more like the dog, looking past the effects, seeing through the symptoms, and finding the root causes.

This process can be intellectually exhausting, as each layer appears to conceal yet another layer beneath it – like a Russian doll.  Focus on the brick and mortar institutions which exist within and operate within Indiana for now.  These are merely tentacles of a much larger squid enveloping the entire world, but an exploration beyond this level threatens to spiral into a thesis more befitting a Dan Brown novel than this brief introduction to Hoosier sovereignty.

The academic, media, and financial institutions are the cornerstone institutions which serve as bases of power – power over our overclass, our underclass, and our political class.  Through our academic institutions, they control public thought, dictating the dichotomies and paradigms within which our people are to think.  Their admissions processes explicitly limit the number of traditional Americans which are allowed to participate, subject those who enter to years of indoctrination, then appoint the most gifted and the most compliant to occupy their tenured sinecures.

The media institutions perform essentially the same function, only toward a more general audience and with a more specific political impact.  Rather than relying on government largess, tuition, and secretive sponsors, the media relies on advertisers, subscribers, and secretive sponsors.  Rather than manipulating the thinking class, the media outlets spoon-feed the middle class.  Through this choke point, they can exert a tremendous influence on which issues receive attention and which issues disappear down the memory hole, which politicians are elected and which politicians are disgraced (or ignored).

The financial institutions are perhaps the most difficult to understand and the most influential.  Basically, our monetary system is founded on a process of institutionalized embezzlement.  Our stock markets are merely a storefront for a vast underworld of “derivatives” which we cannot regulate or participate in.  We can only suffer the seismic effects of the trillions of dollars in wealth which have been siphoned from the legitimate economy.  Our role as Hoosiers is to be squeezed between an inflating currency, an increasing tax burden, and dwindling options.

Sometimes, we have an opportunity to catch a rare glimpse into the underground economy, as was the case with Bernie Madoff when his Ponzi scheme unraveled in broad daylight.  Not only did it become apparent that the most powerful and influential men of Wall Street are irredeemable crooks, it became apparent that the beneficiaries of this zeitgeist are a swarm of tax exempt ethnic lobbying organizations and leftist political groups which are themselves machines behind what are perceived to be legitimate political organizations (of both the left and the right).

Taking on these wealthy and powerful institutions seems impossible.  They have salaried activists while we have amateur volunteers.  They have national media campaigns while we have self-printed flyers.  They hire lobbyists to wine and dine representatives while we can only write a letter or make a phone call.

The odds are stacked against us.  If we play by their rules and use their methods then we’ll continue to fail.  But we do have some advantages and there are some proven rules for effective cultural activism that we can follow to capitalize on those advantages.

Our first advantage is that we’re right.  The vision we’re attempting to sell isn’t as glossy, but it’s compatible with what people see in their daily lives.  People see that the Affirmative Action hire isn’t as good at his job as Joe used to be.  People see the faces on the crime stories in the local news.  People see that the immigrants are taking their jobs.

People see the double standards.  They see that they’re discouraged from acknowledging their heritage while others are encouraged to wear theirs on their sleeve.  People see that the representatives say one thing while campaigning then do another thing in office.

People see many of the dots, but are discouraged from connecting the dots by pervasive brainwashing and intimidation campaigns.   But intimidation campaigns don’t always stop people from connecting the dots; they just silence those who do.

Our message is also innately more appealing to people.  Americans generally prefer liberty over government control.  They generally prefer national sovereignty over globalism.  They generally prefer traditional American communities and schools over the hostile and chaotic multicultural bazaar.

To reach people with our message and start achieving victories at the local level to build on, we have to become “community organizers”.  We have to combine proven techniques and new ideas with real social activism.  “Be bold, and mighty forces will come to your aid.”

Gordon Baum, the CEO of the Council of Conservative Citizens, has summarized an effective general strategy in his list of “Five Rules for Effective Cultural Activism”.  These rules are practical and proven guidelines for bypassing the media filter, championing winnable issues, and forcing politicians to support us on those issues.

Rule 1: All politics are local.

While our opponents work down from the top, we must work up from the bottom.  We have to begin at the kitchen table, working our way through the neighborhood and up to the community.  We can have the biggest effect by aggressively campaigning at the local and state level on issues that actually effect people in their daily lives.

We have to market ourselves as what we are – the only folks who are actually working to protect our jobs, our schools, and our neighborhoods.  The best way to do this is to actually be working to protect those things at the local level.

Principles and national politics are important, but what people actually care about in their daily lives are the issues that directly impact them.  These are often the issues that we can directly impact.  Frequently, these are local issues, issues too “small” for our opponents to be bothered with.

The benefits of beginning with the community are greater than merely increasing our opportunity for success.  We also differentiate ourselves from other groups that preach a lot of big ideas and sip a lot of coffee but don’t actually hit the pavement and make a stand.  When Hoosiers are ready to fight for national change, they’ll trust the folks who’ve been in their homes and at their city council meetings fighting for change – not armchair ideologues.

Rule 2: Let your politicians know you can help them or hurt them.

The path of least resistance for the typical politician is to parrot the “populist” script when on the trail, and then obey the lobbyists and party hacks when on the committee.  While it would be dandy if politicians held themselves accountable, that responsibility rests on us.

Politicians, especially at the local level, can be influenced by the voters – but only if the voters prove themselves organized, persistent, and prepared to hold them accountable.  When they work for us, we work for them.  When they work against us, we work against them.

A well-orchestrated local campaign to raise awareness of a politician selling out his constituents can have a great long-term effect.  The politician loses support, support that he can recapture by reprioritizing.  Other politicians take note.

Rule 3: Choose your issues carefully.

We have fewer resources than our opponents.  If we don’t choose our battles wisely, we’ll continue to be steamrolled.  We need to focus on the issues that folks talk about at the dinner table and care about in their daily lives.  By doing this, we establish ourselves as the organization fighting for them and mobilize them to join that fight.

The winnable issues are out there.  They’re frequently the ones that politicians attempt to pass without the public learning about them.   The media’s not going to alert the people to what the lobbyists and politicians are up to.  That’s our job.  Our job is to keep track of the issues and focus our finite time and resources on the winnable ones.

There’s the obvious benefit to winning a battle in the fight for traditional conservative values.  Winning also increases morale, attracts talented people, and attracts the support of people who want to invest in an organization with a proven record of success.  While we can’t win every issue, we can improve our odds of success by strategically focusing our resources.

Rule 4: You need to control the controlled media and bypass them completely whenever you can.

Most of the mainstream media operates through national and regional outlets.  At the community level, we can lead and direct the public debate in a way that’s far more difficult when we’re on the enemy’s turf (national politics).

But to lead and direct the public debate, we have to have the right tools, we have to know how to use those tools, and we have to use those tools in a consistent and coordinated way.  We have to have templates for flyers, know how to use radio, know how to use the local paper, and know how to use alternative media.

Issues-based campaigns are fought and won in a manner similar to how elections are fought and won.  The marketing has to reach as many people as possible from several media.  Yard signs need to be put up, websites offering full details on the issue have to be created, phone banks have to be staffed, and hands have to be shaken.

Rallies or protests may be appropriate.  These can often empower us to “make our own news” by attracting the attention of the local media.  While local newspapers and radio stations are often sympathetic, we can’t expect them to cover our press releases, protests, or letters to the editor.  Tape and photograph the event.  Don’t rely on the media to cover the event fairly, if it even covers it at all.

Rule 5: Get the best people you can to support you.

Successful movements are driven by a core of dedicated leaders.  These respected, self-disciplined, motivated, and intelligent individuals are the vanguard of political activism.  While it’s obviously important to prod and persuade the apolitical masses, these masses require natural leaders if they are to accomplish anything.

When you have the best people, the rest of the people are more inclined to associate themselves with your movement.  It’s simple human nature to be attracted to winners.  They also self-motivate, unlike the apolitical masses, which require regular reminding that they’re fighting an uphill battle to preserve their way of life.

Network with folks who are already politically active.  Even people who are apparently politically incompatible can often find common ground if they scratch beneath the surface.  A fervent Democrat might be so because he sees the Democratic Party as the party of the working man.  Many liberals are against the war, or at least they were until Obama became the designated warmonger.

It’s important to understand the difference between politics and principles.  Political activities are merely means to the end of supporting our principles.  Collaborate with parties and movements when they share a common goal, but only toward that goal.  None of the major political parties precisely aligns with our goals and we can’t afford to be taken for granted as a voting bloc.

Our mission is bigger than bigger than petty partisan politics.  It’s bigger than “liberals and conservatives”.  We are in this current system and will deal with it, but we’re not “of” this system.  The fate of our traditional American way of life may depend on the focus and courage of a handful of dedicated patriots.

Hoosier Nation – Conclusion

 

Those who were expecting a detailed explication of how Indiana is to become a sovereign country may be disappointed.  But where there’s a will, there’s a way.  Our task at this point is to stoke the will.  The details will resolve themselves if the determination is there.  While the unraveling of empires and imploding of speculative bubbles are things which can be confidently predicted, the precise nature which a people liberate themselves is too circumstantial, too dependent on future situations which have yet to unfold.

If anything, the urge to seriously reflect on the details of secession at this point is a temptation to be resisted.  Perhaps a larger “Middle American Republic” will take shape.  Perhaps the Chinese will invade to restore order and secure our weapons of mass destruction when the bubble bursts.  Perhaps a righteous and resurgent Russia will force our weakened federal government to abide by its constitution.  Pondering on all of these possibilities can be an amusing exercise for the active mind, but it shouldn’t be mistaken for the serious business of uniting our people with a common goal of survival and freedom.

Life can be frustrating for some of us who have been aware of these threats to our survival and freedom.  How do you play the role of Paul Revere when fewer and fewer Americans even know who he was or what he did?  At best, we appear like a confused Chicken Little, and at worst their minds flash with visions of Nazis marching, Southern mobs lynching, and skinheads stomping.  But one must bear in mind that decades of conditioning have guided them to dread a traditional American revolution as surely as Pavlov’s dogs salivated.

Worldviews, once ingrained, can be difficult to dislodge.  This one is especially difficult to dislodge, given that the economic bubble has flooded our enemies with cash to silence us, cash to buy off our politicians, cash to appease the “sheeple”, and cash to hide the problems under the rug.  But once they realize that their currency is utterly worthless and the social problems start unraveling from every direction, sentiment could snap in our favor within weeks.

To be the vanguards of that revolution, we must do more than merely awaken, we must prepare.  We must awaken others.  We must offer a clear path back to safe harbor.  But we must also be discrete, shrewd, and patient in our work until the time is ripe.  We will need to be like Johnny Appleseed, humble and persistent as we plant the seeds of Hoosier sovereignty.  We will need to be like Daniel Boone, prepared to survive in the wilderness.  We will need to be like Davy Crockett, prepared to fight to the death for our liberty and our heritage.

We will need to become true Hoosiers again.
