Obligations Of Obedience

Obligations Of Obedience

As our country continues its transition from liberty toward tyranny, we are going to have to face questions that have, traditionally, been alien to Americans. These questions will concern the extent of our loyalties, the demands for our obedience, and the extent to which we will honor these demands.

Like all Americans who have served in our military, upon induction I swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. And, I have always understood that this oath has no expiration date. By implication, this oath also requires me to support and defend the government of the United States of America. For years, I have accepted this implication. However, given the current direction of our government, I now amend my commitment to support, defend and obey the U.S. Government to be binding only to the extent that that same government acts is strict accordance with the Constitution, as written.

Stated differently, I have never sworn any oath nor do I acknowledge any loyalty to any arbitrary rule or to any “government”, legitimate or otherwise. Two basic principles are essential to the successful operation of a constitutional republic – as America was intended to be:

The first is that all citizens of the republic are governed with and by their own consent, freely given. What we usually call “government by the consent of the governed”.

The second is that those who make and enforce the laws of the republic are chosen by their fellow citizens and that, despite their election or appointment to an office of authority, they remain fellow citizens, as fully subject to the laws of the republic as those who have not been elected or appointed. That is, in a functional republic, no one is above the law, regardless of office, employment or wealth.

I hereby assert that the republic known as the United States of America no longer qualifies as a valid and functional constitutional republic. I further assert that its government no longer operates as demanded by its constitution and that it no longer operates with the consent of a majority of its citizens.

According to our original founding document, the Declaration of Independence, people are prone to tolerate abuses by governments so long as those abuses are tolerable. And, once such abuses become intolerable, it is up to the citizens to abolish the abusive government and establish an new one better suited to the protection of their natural rights.

I hereby assert that the government of the United States of America now operates in a fashion that poses a direct threat to individual life, liberty and property. I further assert that, in posing such an ever-increasing threat, it has now passed the threshold of tolerance and that the time has come for the people to band together for a renewed Declaration of Independence.

Rulers, Makers, Takers and Useful Idiots
The current state of our nation divides us into three principal groups:

A Ruling Class of elites who, to a large extent, directed the activities of the “elected” officials who supposedly work for the electorate. This Ruling Class is based, primarily on an international financial cartel.
The Makers who produce (and consume) the goods, services and overall wealth of the nation , including the wealth that ends up in the hands of the financial cartel.
The Takers who consume far more than they produce (it, indeed, they produce at all).
The Useful Idiots who live in a totally artificial world and who know little or nothing about the real world of the Makers. Because of their detachment from reality, these Useful Idiots are prone to support emotion-driven ideas that have no rational basis. This group is made up primarily of those who operate in the realm of subjectivity (usually entertainers of various types including many so-called journalists) – a realm where definite conclusions are rarely possible – as opposed the the realm of objectivity where results can be known and measured.

The news media and their allegedly honest polls would have us believe that a large percentage of our population (mostly Takers and Useful Idiots) actually prefers to live under a dictatorship. I don’t believe this. What I do believe is that a large percentage of our population have allowed themselves to be convinced that government can give them (or someone else) something that they did not earn. Well, lately it sure must seem that way to many of us because all the Takers need do is hold out their hands, moan and whine a bit (with supporting moaning and whining from the Useful Idiots), and, voila, some politician promises them any and every thing they could possibly want or need.

For the Ruling Class

All I can tell you is that you will be destroyed. Your kind always are although, like the mythical phoenix, your replacements will inevitably arise again, proving yet again Lord Acton’s maxim. We could spend pages exploring your existence and its root causes but that is fodder for another rant.

For the Takers

I now want to speak directly to the Takers – those of you who live off the labor of your fellow citizens: What you fail to consider is that government does not produce anything. So, anything the Ruling Class (via their puppet government) has to give to you must first have been taken from someone else.

But, says you, why should you worry, they only take it from the “evil rich”. Well, I ask, just who are these “evil rich”? Might they simply be your fellow citizens who just happened to be more productive than you? Might they be the very ones who are producing the things you require for your continued existence? Things like food, shelter, clothing, medical care, etc.? And, after these “evil rich” have been drained, their enterprises destroyed, then what? Let me tell you what. Those “evil rich” will have been changed into Takers, just like you. So, what happens after all the “evil rich” have been converted to Takers – what then? Well, we all know what “then” – only “then” will occur long before all the rich have been drained.

What will happen is that the dictatorship established by the Ruling Class, in order to get the production it must have in order to continue, will enslave all the Takers. Yes, even you. Does it still sound like a promise of a perpetual good life? Did they not explain to you that, in becoming a Taker, you were trading your precious liberty for a future as a slave?

Maybe you let yourself become convinced that you were somehow enslaving the “evil rich”? After all, they expend an ever-increasing amount of their effort working for your benefit. Is that not the very definition of slavery – to be forced to toil for the benefit of another? Let me clarity things for you. You haven’t enslaved anyone because you lack the means to do so. What you have done is helped created a surrogate slave master to do the enslaving for you. This surrogate slave master is the puppet government operated by (and for) the Ruling Class. And, let me assure you, they are “equality opportunity” slave masters. For sure, like any plunderer, they will strike first where the plunder is richest. But, as they plunder our wealth, they destroy the means of replacing that wealth. As the means of replacing wealth diminishes, more people must be enslaved to make up the difference.

The Ruling Class must think you are stupid not to have seen through their long-term plan for you. Indeed, for us all. Might it be time for you to quit believing in fairy tales, start looking at the situation realistically, and begin taking some responsibility for your own future?

For the Makers

Just as you are called on to produce the goods and services we all depend on, likewise, if we are to be saved, you will called on to be the saviors. To this end, I urge all of you to arm yourselves, just as we were urged to do by our Founders. However, I do not advocate the use of such arms for anything other than defense. Our basic response to further predations on the part of our now illegitimate government should be simply to say NO. To refuse, individually and in groups, to submit to further demands for the fruits of our labor or for the surrender of any of our property, including arms. I make this recommendation on the realistic understanding that isolated groups of fed-up citizens stand no chance in pitched battles with government thugs. However, the lack of our production can surely starve the beast.

If they come for your arms, simply say NO, even though they will probably arrest you.

If the come to demand tribute (in the form of taxes), simply say NO, even though they will probably arrest you.

Remember, there are very definite limits to the number of us the government thugs can arrest and imprison. Plus, the more they attempt to do so, the greater damage to the production that they require from us. Also remember that the start of mass arrests will do much to help convince our more timid fellow citizens that the time to stand up for our rights is upon us.

If, however, they come to do you physical harm, defend yourself, your family and your property in any fashion you can.

I can hear many of you thinking that I am probably crazy, that the situation is not nearly this bad, and that, even if it were, what I propose would never work. My response is that, yes, I may well be crazy, that the situation is even worse than I make it seem, and, while what I propose might not work, on the other hand, it just might.

However intimidating it may sound to you, consider the consequence of continuing to do nothing.

For All

Whether you are a Maker or a Taker, please think about this.

For sure, the coming dictatorship does promise one thing than many of you might think is good – equality. The only problem is that we will all be equally enslaved.

We still have a chance to survive. But the odds against us increase with each passing day. With each day that we do not stand up enmasse and demand a return to the constitutional government of a fully functional republic, the odds of success diminish. Failing that, there is then a lesser chance that a dedicated group of patriots might actually prevail in a civil war and eventually restore our liberty. But, neither of those is the path we are currently on.

And, please, don’t any of you try to tell me again that you are just “too busy” to be concerned about your own liberty and that of your offspring. The people at Valley Forge also had other things to do, other places to be. So did those on the beaches of Normandy and Iwo Jima. So did those who spent so much time founding this nation that they neglected their own fortunes, and, for the most part, lost them in the process.

Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask not what you can do for your country. Ask instead what you MUST do for yourself.

When Elites Depart

When Elites Depart

globalguerrillas.typepad.com/globalguerrillas/

One of the benefits of having a son that is a scholar of ancient warfare, from Alexander the Great to the Byzantine Empire to the Mongols, is that we can have wide ranging discussions on very deep topics.  Of perennial interest to us:  why do complex societies/civilizations collapse?

One of interesting working theories we have is that while complex societies can be in decay for a long period of time, they only collapse when its favored elites abandon it/betray it.

Here’s an example from Roman history written by Joseph Tainter:

The Collapse of The [Western] Roman Empire

One outcome of diminishing returns to complexity is illustrated by the collapse of the Western Roman Empire. As a solar-energy based society which taxed heavily, the empire had little fiscal reserve. When confronted with military crises, Roman Emperors often had to respond by debasing the silver currency (Figure 4.2) and trying to raise new funds. In the third century A.D. constant crises forced the emperors to double the size of the army and increase both the size and complexity of the government. To pay for this, masses of worthless coins were produced, supplies were commandeered from peasants, and the level of taxation was made even more oppressive (up to two-thirds of the net yield after payment of rent). Inflation devastated the economy. Lands and population were surveyed across the empire and assessed for taxes. Communities were held corporately liable for any unpaid amounts. While peasants went hungry or sold their children into slavery, massive fortifications were built, the size of the bureaucracy doubled, provincial administration was made more complex, large subsidies in gold were paid to Germanic tribes, and new imperial cities and courts were established. With rising taxes, marginal lands were abandoned and population declined. Peasants could no longer support large families. To avoid oppressive civic obligations, the wealthy fled from cities to establish self-sufficient rural estates. Ultimately, to escape taxation, peasants voluntarily entered into feudal relationships with these land holders. A few wealthy families came to own much of the land in the western empire, and were able to defy the imperial government. The empire came to sustain itself by consuming its capital resources; producing lands and peasant population (Jones 1964, 1974; Wickham 1984; Tainter 1988, 1994b). The Roman Empire provides history’s best-documented example of how increasing complexity to resolve problems leads to higher costs, diminishing returns, alienation of a support population, economic weakness, and collapse. In the end it could no longer afford to solve the problems of its own existence.

A more recent example of this is how the bureaucratic elites of the former Soviet Union, turned on the system and quickly gutted it through privatization, when their privileges were reduced.   An accelerant of the process was the availability of an external financial system to deposit the newly looted wealth.

The big question for those of us in the US/EU is whether we are seeing this process at work in our system.  Are the government/business elites turning against the system?

Race Wars

Race Wars

So….Zimmerman will be charged with second degree murder.

What’s next?

Remember this?

And this . . .

and this…

The same template is being played out.

  • Violence against a black person behaving badly
  • Media suppression of the full story and/or fabrication of facts (or tampering with the entire jury pool on a national level)
  • Race hustlers play on stereotypes to whip up hatred and anger
  • A certain demographic expects death for the accused threatening “no justice, no peace”
  • The jury cannot reach the “correct” verdict
  • Mass riots happen
  • The accused will be hauled into court again and again until the “correct” outcome is determined
  • It’s an election year

Oh wait, was that waaaaacist to actually say that if the verdict doesn’t go a certain way that there will be riots?  Well, when you’ve got a Community Organizer In Chief that springs to the defense of someone like Robert Gates, Jr.-saying that the police acted stupidly, yet sits on the New Black Panther Party voter intimidation in 2008 and is silent on the $10,000 dead or alive bounty placed on Zimmerman’s head, what do you expect?

You think Eric “My People”, “Nation of Cowards” Holder is going to get in the way of that train that his boss is driving?  Eric Holder is nothing more than a Whitney Houston bodyguard (link) to Obama-or a doctor for Michael Jackson if you like.

The job for most handlers is not to protect the celebrity from himself/herself.  The job is to protect the celebrity from reality around them.  Shield them from consequences of their own reckless and stupid actions as well as from any unwashed masses who might touch the hem of their garments.

You are about to witness Rules for Radicals, #13 (Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it) being applied with the full force and weight of Leviathan against one man.  From where he lives, to what he drives, to where he works, to if he is allowed work in certain places, to where he shops, to whether he has any money with which to shop, to where he keeps what little money he will have left, to his church, to his family, to his very soul. They will never forgive him for living and they won’t be satisfied until Zimmerman self-immolates like Thomas J. Ball

Remember me?

And don’t forget the most important point, it’s an election year.  Most candidates for office might consider running on their record, if they actually have one.  Obama’s record is dismal and the country is teetering.  What do they have left?  Just like the Gabrielle Giffords rally, fear and smear.

But now it’s time to draw contrasts to 1992 template. After all, it is not 1992.

In 1992, the National Guard, the Army and the Marines were eventually sent into L.A. to calm the riots.

“Never let a crisis go to waste”, may also be correctly interpreted as, “Don’t solve the problem too soon.  Wait until it’s big enough to be worth solving.”  Proof?

In 2010, Barack Obama did everything that he could to hinder the repair and cleanup of the Deepwater Horizons oil mess in the Gulf of Mexico.  That BP was able to finally resolve it at all was irrelevant to Obama.  You remember as well as I do how The Regime handled the symptoms, the problem, and the principals involved.

With that in mind, do you see Obama being the kind of guy who would send in the US Army or Marines to quell rioters in Sanford, Florida-or anywhere else?  Or would it be more in character for him to shackle any and all efforts by police or private citizens to defend themselves and/or restore order?  Would it be more in character to wage lawfare against any and all efforts that are moderately successful at defending persons, property, or restoring order?

Team Obama will do everything that they possibly can to incite, expand, and perpetuate the unrest wherever it begins in America.  And they will do everything they can think of to hinder an end to such unrest.

Oh…and then there’s this blurb,

“As (U.N.) High Commissioner for Human Rights, I call for an immediate investigation,”

It’s pretty rich of the U.N. to be concerned for human rights violations in America given the way that so many other countries treat their people.

So if it goes to riots and streetfighting, if Obama directs his attention against those who wish to restore order-thus extending the crisis and worsening the damage, then it makes a nice scenario for the blue helmets to suggest that maybe they could “help out”.  Just saying. . .

Remember what Gandalf says, “They are coming.”

Updated:
Continuing to contrast 1992 with today, it’s also worth considering that “climate change” has occurred.  The cry wolf of “racism” and “racist” have been used so many times since 1992 that a good number of Americans simply shrug their shoulders at it and blow it off.  Who could blame them?

Consider this visit by Quannell X and the NBPP to the Houston area in 2007 and the results.

Presumably, X, broadcast his intentions beforehand and folks responded with a “peaceful” rally in support of then 61 year old Joe Horn.  I wonder how it would have gone for folks had the NBPP decided to try and carry out the threats they repeatedly make?

Consider the change in the tools and thoughts of Americans since 1992 or 2007.  Another set of Rodney King Riots may happen again, but the outcome could be very different.

Bill Cosby’s opinion on guns in Trayvon Martin case

Anti-gun group says celebrities

should share in monopoly of

violence

David Codrea's photo

“Bill Cosby’s opinion on guns in Trayvon Martin case shows hypocrisy of elites,” Gun Rights Examiner demonstrated on Monday, juxtaposing the comedian and actor’s condemnation of citizens carrying guns against reports that he had obtained one of New York City’s rare concealed carry permits, conspicuously awarded to the well-heeled and connected.

That news did not bother the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, founded as the National Coalition to Ban Handguns. The Days of Our Trailers blog posted a Twitter exchange between CSGV and the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association.

“So, because Bill Cosby is a celebrity, his life is worth more than that of a taxi driver or bodega owner?” the pro-gun group asked.

“No, because he’s a celebrity, he’s far more likely to have stalkers & other people actively trying to do him harm. Documented threats,” the gungrabbers replied.

They make this assertion with no supporting evidence of any threat to Cosby other than undefined risks of  fame, despite the fact that celebrities don’t even register on the scale for “most dangerous jobs in America,” but taxi drivers do. That’s no surprise to longtime observers of the brainless, cavalier way anti-defense zealots shrug off reality.  Nor is the fact that they once more contradict their own public policy recommendations, to wit, their fanatical adherance to the state monopoly of violence doctrine.  We now have those who wish to ban handguns to all but state actors welcoming celebrities into the ranks of the exalted.

That the left embraces media figures who are exploitable for their various subversive causes is also no surprise.  Somehow, the demand to eat the rich gives a pass to useful idiot celebrities—it does not seem to occur to actress Olivia Wilde that she occupies the top of the 1% as she stumps for solidarity with the cop car-crappers.  And  multimillionaire “entertainer” Roseanne, with her commie uniform and AK, who unfortunately confessess she’s too stupid to use Twitter, nonetheless urges a French Revolution solution for bankers—did I mention she’s the Green Party Black Caucus-endorsed candidate for president, and that they, naturally,  “support the ‘Brady Bill’ and thoughtful, carefully considered GUN CONTROL”?

So does Olivia qualify for CSGV’s celebrity need-based gun permit?  How about Roseanne?  And any guesses where the government dispensing things according to need originated?

How do we figure where the cut-off is?  Do former celebrities count?  What about famous people from other professions? Just what are the criteria and metrics, anyway?

Ain’t it something?  The Bizarro regressives who pretend to speak for the masses are all for privileges and immunities for the elites that they would deny to we commoners.  These poseurs “for the people” are all about de facto titles of nobility.

And the people who aren’t rich and famous, but who nonetheless insist rights belong to all humankind, regardless of race, religion, orientation…?

Oh, that’s easy. We’re teabaggers and racists.

Emergency Items: What Will Disappear First

Emergency Items:

What Will Disappear First

http://readynutrition.com/resources/emergency-items-what-will-disappear-first_11112009/

Do you ever wonder if a major emergency situation occurred what would disappear first?  Due to the overwhelming nature of prepping for a emergency situation, many do not know where to even began, let alone think of emergency situations they would need to prepare for.  Having a ready supply of food, water and batteries are a good start, but not enough.  There are many more items to have on hand besides beans, band aids and bullets.

When planning for an emergency, especially a sudden and long term emergency, think about the worst situation imaginable.  For those that need some help – think of mass chaos of people running into grocery stores to get as much food and supplies as possible, gas lines that run out into the street, highways at a virtual stand still, banks not giving out money, looting, fires, the health of the elderly deteriorating due to not being able to get needed medicines, babies crying because that have no formula to drink.  It’s not a pretty picture when you allow yourself to imagine it.  Having supplies on hand can put a person way ahead of the game.  While many who are unprepared for such a grim reality will be battling the lines at the grocery stores, those that have prepared accordingly could be packing their items up and headed for hills before many have even attempted to.

This author came across some advice from someone who has experienced a long term emergency first hand.  This advice could help a person prepare not only for their well being, but also mentally prepare them for getting through the nightmare of a long term emergency.

Advice From a Sarajevo War Survivor:

Experiencing horrible things that can happen in a war – death of parents and friends, hunger and malnutrition, endless freezing cold, fear, sniper attacks.

1. Stockpiling helps. But you never no how long trouble will last, so locate near renewable food sources.
2. Living near a well with a manual pump is like being in Eden.
3. After awhile, even gold can lose its luster.  But there is no luxury in war quite like toilet paper.  Its surplus value is greater than gold’s.
4. If you had to go without one utility, lose electricity – it’s the easiest to do without (unless you’re in a very nice climate with no need for heat.)
5. Canned foods are awesome, especially if their contents are tasty without heating.  One of the best things to stockpile is canned gravy – it makes a lot of the dry unappetizing things you find to eat in war somewhat edible.  Only needs enough heat to “warm”, not to cook. It’s cheap too, especially if you buy it in bulk.
6. Bring some books – escapist ones like romance or mysteries become more valuable as the war continues.  Sure, it’s great to have a lot of survival guides, but you’ll figure most of that out on your own anyway – trust me, you’ll have a lot of time on your hands.
7. The feeling that you’re human can fade pretty fast.  I can’t tell you how many people I knew who would have traded a much needed meal for just a little bit of toothpaste, rouge, soap or cologne.  Not much point in fighting if you have to lose your humanity.  These things are morale-builders like nothing else.
8. Slow burning candles and matches, matches, matches

The Government Parasite- For Us To Survive, The West Must Die!

The Hard Working American vs.

The Government Parasite

http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com

Which lifestyle choice produces better results – being a hard working American or being a government parasite?  Actually, when you look at the cold, hard numbers they may just surprise you.  In America today, we deeply penalize hard work and we greatly reward government dependence.  If you live in a very liberal area of the country and you know how to game the system, it is entirely possible to live a comfortable existence without ever working too much at all.  In fact, there are some Americans that have been living off of “government benefits” for decades.  Many of these people actually plan their lives around doing exactly what they need to do to qualify for as many benefits as possible.  America is rapidly turning into a European-style socialist welfare state and it is destroying our nation socially and financially.  Ever since the “war on poverty” began our debt has absolutely exploded and yet now there are more poor people in this country than ever before.  Obviously something is not working.

Now don’t get me wrong.  I deeply believe in having compassion for those that are going through tough times and having a safety net for those that cannot take care of themselves.  We should not have a single person in this nation going without food or sleeping in the streets.

But in America today it is absolutely ridiculous how many people are climbing aboard the “safety net”.  At this point, an astounding 49 percent of all Americans live in a home that receives some form of government benefits.

So who pays for all of this?

The people that drag themselves out of bed and go to work each day pay for it all.

For a few moments, let’s examine how the lifestyle of a typical hard working American compares to the lifestyle of a government parasite.

In America today, the median yearly household income is somewhere around $50,000.  About half of all American households make more than that and about half of all American households make less than that.  When you break it down, it comes to about $4000 a month.

So how far does $4000 go in America today?

Unfortunately, it doesn’t go very far at all.

First of all, a hard working American family will need some place to live.  Unfortunately, the vast majority of the decent jobs are near the big cities, and it is more expensive to live near the big cities.  Let’s assume that an average family of four will spend about $1000 a month on rent or on a mortgage payment.

The government parasite, on the other hand, has a whole host of federal, state and local housing programs to take advantage of.  During the recent economic downturn, more Americans than ever have been turning to the government for help with housing costs.  For example, federal housing assistance outlays increased by a whopping 42 percent between 2006 and 2010.

Once you have a place to live, you have to provide power and heat for it.  For the average hard working American, this is going to probably average about $300 a month, although this can vary greatly depending on where you live.

For the government parasite, there are once again a whole host of government programs to help with this.  For example, LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) assists low income households in paying their home heating bills.

Most average hard working Americans are also going to need phone and Internet service.  Let’s assume that the hard working family of four in our example is extremely thrifty and only spends $100 a month for these services.

For the government parasite, cell phone service is not a problem.  As I have written about previously, those that “qualify” can receive a free cell phone and free cell phone minutes every single month from the federal government.  In addition, in some areas of the nation low income families can qualify for deeply subsidized home Internet service.

In order to earn money, our hard working family is going to need to get to work.  In most households, both parents have decided to work these days so both of them will need cars.  Let’s assume that the family is very thrifty and that both cars were purchased used and that the car payments only total about $400 a month.

The hard working family will also need auto insurance for the two vehicles.  Let’s assume that both parents have a great driving record and that they only pay a total of about $100 a month for car insurance.

The cars will also need to be filled up with gasoline.  The average U. S. household spent $4155 on gasoline during 2011, but let’s assume that our family is very, very careful and that they only spend about $300 on gas each month.

So what about the government parasite?  Well, the government parasite does not need to go to work, so this expense can potentially be eliminated entirely.  But since most other things are paid for by the government or are deeply subsidized, in many instances government parasites are actually able to afford very nice vehicles.

In addition, a new bill (The Low-Income Gasoline Assistance Program Act) has been introduced in Congress that would give “qualifying” households money to help pay for gasoline….

Low-Income Gasoline Assistance Program Act – Directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to make grants to states to establish emergency assistance programs to pay eligible households for the purchase of gasoline.

A hard working American family is also going to need health insurance.  Well, we all know how expensive health insurance has become.  In fact, health insurance costs have risen by 23 percent since Barack Obama became president.  But let’s assume that our hard working family has somehow been able to find an amazing deal where they only pay $500 a month for health insurance for a family of four.

For the government parasite, health insurance is not needed.  If there is an emergency, the government parasite can just go get free medical care at any emergency room.

And of course there is always Medicaid.  Back in 1965, only one out of every 50 Americans was on Medicaid.  Today, one out of every 6 Americans is on Medicaid, and things are about to get a whole lot worse.  It is being projected that Obamacare will add 16 million more Americans to the Medicaid rolls.

So what about food?

Everyone has to eat, right?

Well, the hard working family in our example is faced with an environment where food prices are constantly rising but paychecks are not keeping up.  Let’s assume that the hard working family in our example clips coupons and cuts corners any way that it can and only spends about $50 for each member of the family on food and supplies each week.  That comes to a total of $800 a month for the entire family.

So what about the government parasite?

Government parasites need to eat too.

Well, that is where food stamps come in.  Right now, there are more than 46 million Americans on food stamps.  Since Barack Obama became president, the number of Americans on food stamps has increased by 14 million.  Food stamps have become so popular that rappers are even making rap videos about using food stamp cards.

Okay, so after all of this where do we stand?

Well, the average hard working family so far has spent $3500 out of the $4000 that they have to spend for the month.

We still need to find money for clothing, for paying off credit card debt, for paying off student loan debt, for dining out, for entertainment, for medications, for pets, for hobbies, for life insurance, for vacations, for car repairs and maintenance, for child care, for gifts and for retirement savings.

But wait.

There is actually no money left at all because we have forgotten one of the biggest expenses of all.

Taxes.

When you total up all federal, state and property taxes, our average hard working family is going to pay at least $1000 a month in taxes.

So that puts our average hard working family in the hole every single month.

Meanwhile, the government parasite does not pay any taxes because he or she does not earn enough money to be taxed.

Are you starting to get the picture?

In many ways, life can be so much easier when you are constantly taking from the government instead of constantly giving to the government.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie recently put it this way….

“We’ll have a bunch of people sitting on a couch waiting for their next government check”

Once again, I am not dumping on those that have been through all kinds of nightmares because of this economy.  As I have written about so frequently, the U.S. economy is simply not producing enough jobs for everyone anymore, and this is creating major problems.

Just about everyone needs a helping hand at some point, and we should always be compassionate to those that are in need.

However, there is also a growing number of Americans that are content to simply give up and live off of the government, and that is fundamentally wrong.

It is not the job of the U.S. government to take care of you from the cradle to the grave.  What the U.S. government is supposed to do is to make sure that we have a well functioning economy that operates in an environment where hard working individuals and small businesses can thrive, and sadly the U.S. government has failed miserably in that regard.

We desperately need the U.S. economy to be fixed, but I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for that to happen.

As economic conditions get even worse in this country, millions more Americans are going to turn to the government for assistance and at some point the safety net is going to break.

What is our country going to look like when that happens?

19 Signs Of Very Serious

Economic Trouble On The Horizon

Most Americans have no idea how much economic trouble is heading our way.  Most of them just assume that everything will eventually “return to normal” just like it always has before and that those running our economy “know what they are doing” and that we should trust them to do their jobs.  Unfortunately, these beliefs are being reinforced by the bubble of false hope that we are experiencing right now.  For example, it is being reported that weekly unemployment claims in the United States have fallen to a four-year low.  That is a very good thing.  Let us hope that unemployment claims go even lower and that the current period of stability lasts for as long as possible.  We should enjoy these last fleeing moments of tremendous prosperity for as long as we can, because when they are gone they won’t be coming back.  As I noted the other day, all of this false prosperity in the United States has been financed by the 15 trillion dollar party that we have been enjoying.  We are adding about 150 million dollars to our debt every single hour so that we can continue to enjoy an inflated standard of living.  Unfortunately, nobody in the history of the world has ever been able to keep a debt spiral going indefinitely, and our debt bubble will burst eventually as well.

Sadly, when you attempt to end (or even slow down) a debt spiral the consequences can be extremely painful.  Just look at what is happening in Greece.  Several waves of austerity measures have been implemented, the Greek economy has been plunged into a full-blown depression and Greek debt is still going up.

The rest of the nations of the eurozone are also now implementing austerity measures, and most of them are also starting to fall into recession.  The economic pain in Europe is just beginning and it will go on for quite a long time.

And eventually the United States is going to join the pain.  Right now the U.S. government can still borrow trillions of dollars at super low interest rates thanks to games being played by the Federal Reserve.  But it is simply not possible for this Ponzi scheme to last too much longer.  When it ends, the pain will be extremely great.

And even in the short-term there are some extremely troubling signs for the U.S. economy.

The following are 19 signs of very serious economic trouble on the horizon….

#1 According to one new survey, approximately one-third of all Americans are not paying their bills on time at this point.

#2 The U.S. housing industry is bracing for another huge wave of foreclosures in 2012.  The following is from a recent Reuters article….

“We are right back where we were two years ago. I would put money on 2012 being a bigger year for foreclosures than 2010,” said Mark Seifert, executive director of Empowering & Strengthening Ohio’s People (ESOP), a counseling group with 10 offices in Ohio.

#3 The Citigroup Economic Surprise Index, a key indicator watched by many economists, is on the verge of heading into negative territory.

#4 We are supposed to be in the middle of an economic recovery in the United States, but bad news just keeps pouring in from major companies.  For example, Yahoo is firing thousands of workers and Best Buy is closing dozens of stores.

#5 Richard Russell says that the “big money” is starting to quietly exit from the financial markets….

“My guess is that this is the big money that has been holding off as long as it decently can — and then dumping their goods just before the close. I don’t think the big money likes this market, and I think they have been slowly exiting this market, as quietly as they can.”

#6 Goldman Sachs is projecting that the S&P 500 will fall by about 11 percent by the end of 2012.

#7 All over the country, local governments are going into default and we have not even entered the next recession yet.

#8 The U.S. government will add more to the national debt in 2012 than it did from the time that George Washington became president to the time that Ronald Reagan became president.

#9 The Federal Reserve is desperately trying to control interest rates.  The Fed purchased approximately 61 percent of all government debt issued by the U.S. Treasury Department in 2011.  This is the only thing that is keeping interest rates in the United States from soaring dramatically.

#10 German industrial production is falling at a pace that is far faster then expected.

#11 Italy’s debt-to-GDP ratio is now up to 120 percent.

#12 The Spanish government admitted on Tuesday that Spain’s debt-to-GDP ratio will rise by more than 11 percent this year alone.

#13 Yields on Spanish bonds are rising to dangerous levels.

#14 The Spanish government is projecting that the unemployment rate in Spain will exceed 24 percent by the end of the year.

#15 Unemployment in the eurozone as a whole has risen for 10 months in a row and is now at a 15 year high.

#16 In the aftermath of a 77-year-old retiree killing himself in front of the Greek parliament in protest over pension cuts, the economic rioting in Greece has flared back up dramatically.

#17 At this point, Greece is experiencing an economic depression with no end in sight.  Some of the statistics coming out of Greece are really hard to believe.  For example, one port town in Greece now has an unemployment rate of approximately 60 percent.

#18 The IMF is asking the United States to contribute more money for European bailouts.

#19 At this point, even some of our top scientists are projecting economic trouble.  For example, researchers at MIT are projecting a “global economic collapse” by the year 2030 if current trends continue.

But the truth is that we will experience a “global economic collapse” long before 2030 comes rolling around.

Let us hope that we still have at least several more months of economic prosperity in the United States before things really fall apart.

The truth is that the vast majority of Americans need more time to prepare for what is coming.

Sadly, most Americans are not preparing.  Most Americans have blind faith that those in positions of power are going to fix everything and set us on the path to even greater prosperity than ever before.

Unfortunately, all Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and Barack Obama have been doing is kicking the can down the road and making our eventual collapse much worse.

As many of us have painfully learned, you can run from debt for a while, but you can’t hide from it forever.  Eventually debt catches up with you, and when it does it can be very cruel.

The 15 trillion dollar party is coming to an end, and the consequences of decades of very foolish decisions are going to fall on this generation.

Read This First Before You Decide That Preppers Are Crazy

Do you believe that preppers are a few cards short of a full deck?  Do you assume that anyone that is “preparing for doomsday” does not have their elevator going all the way to the top floor?  Well, you might want to read this first before you make a final decision that all preppers are crazy.  The information that you are about to read shook me up a bit when I first looked it over.  To be honest, I had no idea how incredibly vulnerable our economic system is to a transportation disruption.  I am continually getting emails and comments on my websites asking “how to prepare” for what is coming, so when I came across this information I knew that I had to share it with all of you.  Hopefully what you are about to read will motivate you to prepare like never before, and hopefully you will share this information with others.

Originally, I was going to write an article about the rising unemployment in Europe today.  Did you know that unemployment in the eurozone is now at a 15 year high?  It has risen for 10 months in a row with no end in sight.

But I have written dozens of articles about the economic crisis in Europe already.  So before starting on that article I started thinking of all the “preparation” questions I have been getting lately and I went over and checked out one of my favorite preparation websites: shtfplan.com.

Well, an article had just been posted over there about a report put out by the American Trucker Associations entitled “When Trucks Stop, America Stops“.

I went and found that original report and I was stunned as I read it.

The truth is that our “just in time” inventory and delivery systems leave us incredibly vulnerable to a nationwide disaster.

You see, it is very expensive to hold and store inventory, so most manufacturers and retailers rely on a continual flow of deliveries that are scheduled to arrive “just in time”, and this significantly reduces their operating expenses.

This is considered to be good business practice for manufacturers and retailers, but it also means that if there was a major nationwide transportation disruption that our economic system would grind to a halt almost immediately.

Once store shelves are picked clean, they would not be able to be replenished until trucks could get back on the road.  In the event of a major nationwide disaster, that could be quite a while.

So what could potentially cause a nationwide transportation shutdown?

Well, it is easy to imagine a lot of potential scenarios – a volcanic eruption, a historic earthquake, an EMP attack, a solar megastorm, a war, a major terror attack, an asteroid strike, a killer pandemic, mass rioting in U.S. cities, or even martial law.

If something caused the trucks to stop running, life in America would immediately start changing.

So exactly what would that look like?

The following is an excerpt from the report mentioned above put out by the American Trucker Associations entitled “When Trucks Stop, America Stops“….

*****

A Timeline Showing the Deterioration of Major Industries Following a Truck Stoppage

The first 24 hours

• Delivery of medical supplies to the affected area will cease.
• Hospitals will run out of basic supplies such as syringes and catheters within hours. Radiopharmaceuticals will deteriorate and become unusable.
• Service stations will begin to run out of fuel.
• Manufacturers using just-in-time manufacturing will develop component shortages.
• U.S. mail and other package delivery will cease.

Within one day

• Food shortages will begin to develop.
• Automobile fuel availability and delivery will dwindle, leading to skyrocketing prices and long lines at the gas pumps.
• Without manufacturing components and trucks for product delivery,
assembly lines will shut down, putting thousands out of work.

Within two to three days

• Food shortages will escalate, especially in the face of hoarding and consumer panic.
• Supplies of essentials—such as bottled water, powdered milk, and
canned meat—at major retailers will disappear.
• ATMs will run out of cash and banks will be unable to process
transactions.
• Service stations will completely run out of fuel for autos and trucks.
• Garbage will start piling up in urban and suburban areas.
• Container ships will sit idle in ports and rail transport will be disrupted, eventually coming to a standstill.

Within a week

• Automobile travel will cease due to the lack of fuel. Without autos and busses, many people will not be able to get to work, shop for groceries, or access medical care.
• Hospitals will begin to exhaust oxygen supplies.

Within two weeks

• The nation’s clean water supply will begin to run dry.

Within four weeks

• The nation will exhaust its clean water supply and water will be safe for drinking only after boiling. As a result gastrointestinal illnesses will increase, further taxing an already weakened health care system.

This timeline presents only the primary effects of a freeze on truck travel. Secondary effects must be considered as well, such as inability to maintain telecommunications service, reduced law enforcement, increased crime, increased illness and injury, higher death rates, and likely, civil unrest.

*****

Earlier in the report, the reasons why America’s water supply would be in such jeopardy are described in greater detail….

According to the American Water Works Association, Americans drink more than one billion glasses of tap water per day. For safety and security reasons, most water supply plants maintain a larger inventory of supplies than the typical business. However, the amount of chemical storage varies significantly and is site specific. According to the Chlorine Institute, most water treatment facilities receive chlorine in cylinders (150 pounds and one ton cylinders) that are delivered by motor carriers. On average, trucks deliver purification chemicals to water supply plants every seven to 14 days. Without these chemicals, water cannot be purified and made safe for drinking. Without truck deliveries of purification chemicals, water supply plants will run out of drinkable water in 14 to 28 days. Once the water supply is drained, water will be deemed safe for drinking only when boiled. Lack of clean drinking water will lead to increased gastrointestinal and other illnesses, further taxing an already weakened healthcare system.

Can you see why I always recommend that you make sure that you and your family have access to fresh water and a way to purify it?

This report should be very sobering for all of us.

What would you and your family do if you had no food, no clean water and the stores were shut down because their supplies were gone?

An article by Tess Pennington entitled “Emergency Items: What Will Disappear First” contains a list of 100 things that are likely to disappear from store shelves first.  The following are the first 10 things on her list….

1. Generators (Good ones cost dearly. Gas storage, risky. Noisy…target of
thieves; maintenance etc.)
2. Water Filters/Purifiers
3. Portable Toilets
4. Seasoned Firewood. Wood takes about 6 – 12 months to become dried, for home
uses.
5. Lamp Oil, Wicks, Lamps (First Choice: Buy CLEAR oil. If scarce, stockpile
ANY!)
6. Coleman Fuel. Impossible to stockpile too much.
7. Guns, Ammunition, Pepper Spray, Knives, Clubs, Bats & Slingshots.
8. Hand-can openers, & hand egg beaters, whisks.
9. Honey/Syrups/white, brown sugar
10. Rice – Beans – Wheat

You can find the rest of the list right here.

Most Americans just assume that they will always be able to run out to the supermarket or to Wal-Mart and buy anything that they need.

But if the trucks stop running that will change almost overnight.

After reading the information above, does anyone out there still believe that preppers are crazy?

The truth is that there are good, solid reasons why millions of Americans have been storing up food, water filters and other supplies.

Our world is becoming increasingly unstable, and all of us need to get educated about how to prepare for the difficult years that are coming.

One nightmarish event can change everything that we take for granted in a single moment.

Just remember what happened after Hurricane Katrina.  Even though that was only a regional disaster, millions of people had their lives completely turned upside down by that tragedy.

Don’t make the mistake of assuming that just because the U.S. has always known tremendous peace and prosperity since World War II that things will always be that way.

Our lives will only continue to be “normal” as long as the trucks continue running.

When the trucks stop running in America, there will be mass chaos.

Are you prepared for that?

For the Memory of Brittany Watts, the second battle of Atlanta begins

The Derb’s firing has intensified the promise I made to myself back on July 5th of 2011.

There is evil in this world, and it’s the indifference of good men that allows it to exist.

Tomorrow, it’s time to wage the war the existence of which I’ve been denying for years. If you’ve enjoyed SBPDL before, buckle up. The ride is just beginning.

Finishing Escape from Detroit: The Collapse of America’s Black Metropolis was exhausting, but it was a book that needed to be completed. Other books are coming.

So is the “Don’t Get Detroit-ed” series. So is more on Negro Fatigue. At the precise moment (for maximum impact), the I Can See Campaign starts.

Never forget that Freedom Failed. Never forget that Disingenuous White Liberals (DWLs) have no hesitation, no qualms, no compunction in turning every American city into a Detroit. And never, ever forget that Eunuchs Masquerading As Conservatives (EMACs) only desire to enrich themselves in their role as officially designated mouthpieces of acceptable opposition in Black-Run America (BRA), laughing all the bank as yet another city gets Detroit-ed.

Laughing all the way to the bank as the value of your home plummets.

So tomorrow, The City too Busy to Hate moves from the on-deck circle and into the SBPDL batter’s box. Detroit witnessed the collapse of America’s Black Metropolis; Atlanta will be the city that sees the death of Black-Run America (BRA).

“Obama’s Son” Nkosi Thadiwe Targeted Brittany Watts for Being White

“Obama’s Son” Nkosi Thadiwe Targeted Brittany Watts for Being White

http://stuffblackpeopledontlike.blogspot.com/

Obama’s Son: Nkosi Tadiwe. Targeted three white girls for being white, reports WSBTV

Brian Nichols wanted to start a race war, believing that Black males were being unfairly incarcerated by an evil society bent on maintaining white supremacy. In actuality, it’s just Black people’s – primarily Black males’ –predilection for breaking the law that sees them incarcerated in such disproportionate numbers.

It appears that the accused killer of Brittany Watts (who also targeted two other white females) had delusions of racial grandeur similar to those of Nichols (Court records show race may be motive in shooting rampage, WSBTV. April 9, 2012):

Channel 2 Action News has learned new information about a possible motive in a deadly midtown shooting from last summer.

Police said a woman was killed and two others injured when a security guard went on a shooting rampage in a parking lot. Channel 2’s Dave Huddleston obtained the 43-page lawsuit from the case that was filed in state court April 5. The documents show that race may have played a role in the shootings.

The sound of gunfire echoed off midtown buildings July 15. When it was over, marketing executive Brittany Watts had been shot in the neck and killed. Police said the shooter, security guard Nkosi Thadiwe, took off in Watts’ car and fired a gun, randomly shooting two more – Lauren Garcia, who was paralyzed, and Tiffany Ferenczy.

Nine months after the shooting, lawsuits have been filed against the defendant, the security company he worked for, Allied Barton, and the owners of the building where the shooting took place.

They said Thandiwe demonstrated an intensely negative attitude toward another race, which was unnamed. About a month prior to the shooting, Thandiwe had an altercation with a visitor with the parking garage.

Documents state he assailed a visiting courier with racial epithets and had to be physically restrained by company personnel from striking and causing harm to visitors.

Company officials, lawyers and shooting victims declined to comment on the matter.

But attorney Musa Ghanayem, who is unaffiliated with the case, gave his legal perspective.

“I saw where there were a couple of instances prior where they have red flags come up; that Mr. Thandiwe has some issues as a security guard,” Ghanayem said.

Thadiwe is still in Fulton County jail. His defense team has asked the court for a mental evaluation. According to documents found before the shooting, there was another act of violence, Huddleston reported.

Black Rage killed Brittany Watts. No one cares nor marches with “hoodies”
For those wondering, Thadiwe is a Black man. He looks like Obama’s hypothetical son.

Watts is dead and no one cares (save Nick Stix). The story of the murder of Brittany Watts has been buried in the Black hole that is Atlanta in much the same manner as are the continuous assaults on white Georgia Tech students by Black people.
The story of Watts being gunned down hit me hard.

And now, the second battle of Atlanta begins. This time, we wage war with a pen.

Brian Nichols hoped to start a race war, yet this was not covered by the Mainstream Media (MSM). Thadiwe targeted three white girls in Midtown (Atlanta) because of their race, and the silence of that same MSM – even the Atlanta press – while outrageous is tragically expected.

The privilege of being white indeed.

Brittany Watts will never have the chance to enjoy being a wife; a mother; a grandmother. How many other voiceless, now lifeless, citizens of Atlanta are in the same position?

She could have been any white girl who grew up in the metro Atlanta area, safe in one of the Whitopia’s that surround the Black Mecca of America. Moving to Atlanta to start her career and family, her life was taken in a moment of racial hate that doesn’t fit the politically correct narrative for a “hate crime” in Black-Run America (BRA).
