Heeding the advice of Gen. David Petraeus, Barack Obama has committed 17,000 more troops to Afghanistan and will keep 50,000 in Iraq after U.S. combat operations end in August 2010.

But are U.S. vital interests more threatened by what happens in Anbar or Helmand than in the war raging along our southern border?

Prediction: After all U.S. troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and Korea have come home, there will be a U.S. army on the Mexican border. For this is where the fate of our republic will be decided, as the fate of Europe will be decided by the millions streaming north from the Maghreb and Middle East, sub-Sahara and South Asia.

Last year, 6,000 Mexicans died in drug-related killings in a war where the tactics are massacre, murder, kidnapping and beheading.

President Felipe Calderon has ordered another 5,000 troops and 1,000 police to the border. Primary target: Ciudad Juarez, across the Rio Grande from El Paso.

Some 2,500 federal troops are already in Juarez, where in 2008 there were 1,600 drug-related murders. Gun battles occur every day. Nationally, 45,000 army troops and police are committed to this war that Mexico is not winning. For, according to the March 3 Washington Times, the Pentagon now estimates the cartels field more than 100,000 foot soldiers.

The chief of police of Juarez just resigned after a cartel threatened to kill an officer even 48 hours if he did not. To prove its seriousness, the cartel murdered four cops, including the chief’s deputy. Last year, 50 police officers in Juarez were murdered.

“The decision I am taking is one of life over death,” said Chief Roberto Oduna. The chief would seem to have a point. In January, his predecessor’s head was found in an ice cooler outside a police station. The mayor keeps his family in El Paso, as they have been threatened with decapitation.

Friday, the State Department declared, “Corruption throughout Mexico’s public institutions remains a key impediment to curtailing the power of the drug cartels.” Calderon retorts that, while the murders may be committed in Mexico, the cash and guns come from the United States.

With oil revenue down since the price dropped $100 a barrel, and remittances down from Mexican workers in the United States as the U.S. economy tanks, tourism, too, has begun to die. Beheadings in and around Acapulco have not helped. Warnings have been issued to U.S. college kids to avoid Mexico on spring break, as kidnappings for ransom are rampant. Restaurants and bars in Juarez that catered to folks from El Paso and soldiers from Fort Bliss are shutting down.

In February, in the resort town of Cancun, a retired army general sent to create an elite anti-crime unit was kidnapped, tortured and shot. Mexican troops raided Cancun’s police headquarters and arrested the chief and dozens of his officers in connection with the murder.

Add a collapsing global economy to a losing war with drug cartels, and Mexico is at grave risk of becoming a failed state, a narco-state, with a 2,000-mile border with the United States.

How does one win a drug war when millions of Americans who use recreational drugs are financing the cartels bribing, murdering and beheading to win the war and keep self-indulgent Americans supplied with drugs?

There are two sure ways to end this war swiftly: Milton’s way and Mao’s way. Mao Zedong’s communists killed users and suppliers alike, as social parasites. Milton Friedman’s way is to decriminalize drugs and call off the war.

When Richard Nixon declared the War on Drugs in 1972, Milton, writing in Newsweek, objected on ethical grounds:

“On ethical grounds, do we have the right to use the machinery of government to prevent an individual from becoming an alcoholic or a drug addict? For children, almost everyone would answer at least a qualified yes. But for responsible adults, I, for one, would answer no. Reason with the potential addict, yes. Tell him the consequences, yes. Pray for and with him, yes. But I believe that we have no right to use force, directly or indirectly, to prevent a fellow man from committing suicide, let alone from drinking alcohol or taking drugs.”

“Am I my brother’s keeper?’” asked Milton, answering, “No.”

Americans are never going to adopt the Maoist solution. For the users of drugs are all too often classmates, colleagues, friends, even family. Indeed, our last three presidents did not deny using drugs.

Once, a Christian America outlawed and punished homosexuality, abortion, alcohol, loan-sharking and gambling, all as criminal vice. Now, homosexuality and abortion are constitutional rights. Gambling and booze are a rich source of government revenue. And loan-sharking is done by credit-card companies, and not just the Corleones.

Will we raise the white flag in the drug war, as well?

Which is the greater evil? Legalized narcotics for America’s young or a failed state of 110,000 million on our southern border?

Some choice. Some country we’ve become.

The United States of America and its citizenry has been assessed, warned, plotted against, and sold out by internationalists in government, business, and the banking industry. Its workforce has been decimated, its standard of living shredded and its working people made financial slaves through unjust taxation, socialist government practices, rules and regulations at all levels in society that would make any communist dictator grin with envy.

Our role as partners in governmental affairs has been reduced to a whisper that is not heard by any elected official anywhere—with very, very few exceptions. Our representative government has become 535 regional dictators who live a life of luxury, self-importance and as arrogant master over the populace. The congress of the United States has carefully exempted itself from virtually all repressive laws they choose not to adhere to and have given themselves retirement pensions, health care and other perks, the rest of us can only dream of. They have become the Duma (Soviet Parliament) types who exemplify nothing other than crass selfishness at the expense of every American working citizen.

The past and present Administration has been pursuing a blending of Canada, America and Mexico into the “North American Union.” They have done it under the cover of governmental darkness. They have been running a race as to how fast they can manipulate our great nation into a “no going back” strategic position with these other two nations. The president and his cabal of sell-out White House/Congressional turncoats have intentionally kept the American people in a state of confusion (war on terror, etc.) so that organized resistance to this national sovereignty killing plan can not be formulated. Business and banking interests are salivating at the thought of trillions of dollars in “free trade” being exchanged throughout North America.

The cultures of Canada and Mexico are not that of the United States and its citizens. A disaster of Biblical proportions is on its way WHEN this plan is forced upon our nation. It is only one of several scenarios that are nearing completion and will spell the absolute end of the United States as we know it. Some will argue that the USA needs drastic overhauling and that this is the natural result of “planned obsolescence” in American culture. There are huge problems that must be addressed now by the American public, or the last opportunity to do so under “open and free” conditions will be lost. There is no more time to talk this sorry state of affairs to death. Decisive and uncompromising action must be taken. Here is what I suggest to my fellow victims:

TAKE THIS BULL BY THE HORNS AND PUT IT ON ITS BACKSIDE

Unless you accept that this country is in its LAST days, you will continue to shake your heads and laugh at all who have written week after week on this and other web sights to help you realize just how much will SOON be lost to our nation forever. You will be counted among those who were as responsible as the complicit socialist Washington government for our national demise precisely because you were intentionally ignorant. The power through information written by authors of brilliant and inciteful backgrounds has given a massive amount of data that could have and should have made a difference in your lives, your interest in government actions, and a marvelous treasure chest of debate justifications when you discuss these issues with others.

There is NO TIME LEFT for you to take the luxury of non-involvement. You will face a time when you will give an account to your family as to why you couldn’t or wouldn’t take the time to educate yourself about your nation’s sacred history. You will stand alone as the verdict comes in that you were negligent in NOT preparing to protect and care for your family and friends during military government (Martial Law) because of a “terrorist” attack, financial/stock market collapse or any other number of possibilities real or contrived that gives the government the justification for arrest and indefinite incarceration in detention camps already built for you and your loved ones. THEY ALREADY EXIST!! These detention/ re-education camps are for those who aren’t willing to submit to the new global order that is about to be established.

Precisely because you are uninformed and intentionally ignorant, you will blindly board the truck that takes you to your likely last destination. You will trust the government to help you one last time. Some of you will stumble around the camp looking for your welfare check, prescription drugs or how you can contact the nearest legal defense or ACLU attorney so that you can take the camp commander to court for mistreatment. You, who I have just described, deserve a detention camp. “…..may your chains rest lightly upon your wrists.”

All of us MUST take responsibility for what is coming. Many of us have adamantly fought against the rising tide of a police state government. We are losing badly. NOT because we don’t care, NOT because we haven’t tried, and certainly NOT because we haven’t committed to resisting this complete sell-out of the Founders dream for this nation and its people. We are failing because YOU have not protested at the school board meetings, the city council chambers, the county commission boards and the state and federal legislatures while you still have freedom of speech. Because, out of indifference or fear, you have not stood up to this criminal neglect and criminal actions against our constitution, these elected sell-outs have sensed your negligence and have had the boldness to give America away to the highest bidder.

You have allowed the Federal Reserve to “regulate” our currency into a mountain of debt and steer the dollar into oblivion. You have allowed Congress to abandon gold and silver and encouraged the mighty international consortium of bankers to call every political policy in Washington. You have allowed presidents and representatives to subvert our constitution to the point of irrelevance because many of you who were constitutional experts would not challenge these republic killing “laws” at their source or in the courts. Above all, you have allowed yourself to be compromised when serving on the jury, a good example is how a brainwashed jury convicted 2 innocent border agents for shooting an illegal drug smuggler.

Many of you in the medical field have believed your own myth building lifestyle that suggests you are some type of god that sells pharmaceuticals like snake oil to unsuspecting people who can neither understand nor challenge your control of their lives, let alone afford the drugs that they “needed.” You have refused to endorse less expensive, natural remedies that could have made the critical difference for some or avoided the pain and expense of chemo “cures” for cancer in others that in most cases only prolonged the agony of those buying in to your version of medicine. There is a movement to ban natural vitamins and you are silent there, as well.

You business owners who scammed the public or charged obscene prices for your products, and then squeezed the worker and his family into poverty, take a short second place in shame to America’s bankers. The oldest professions in the world are not prostitution or politicians, but bankers. You alone shoulder the responsibility along with the Federal Reserve for bankrupting America’s families and our nation’s financial system. Jail for individuals mentioned here is kind compared to a hangman’s noose in my view.

Regardless of the cause or the effect, America is on her knees. She is a haggard old woman unable to understand who she used to be. No longer are the strong arms of brave young men and women able to help her to her feet. There are few left who knows this original America or cares.

What can we do

Well, let’s agree to stand together as necessary and in the manner in which our nation requires us to stand. Not government politics nor embedded traitors dictates, but the needs of our constitution, our Declaration of Independence with its new relevance for our time, and for the dedication of hundreds of thousands of soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, coast guardsmen, merchant marines and police officers at all levels who have answered the call and given their all so that you and I, our children and grandchildren could be free. Fellow Americans, we are ALL needed NOW. Get involved, NOW. Call these arrogant self-serving, liberal bureaucrats and DEMAND change NOW. Show up at the city and county meetings where your community is being fenced in around an Agenda 21 model that will kill private property usage and ownership. Don’t be fooled into accepting an unelected, unaccountable county manager who doesn’t represent you, but rather serves the good-ol-boy system. Keep your county commissioners, who are elected and accountable to we, the people.

Winston Churchill said it best when he declared in a speech to the British Parliament in 1943, “you may have to fight knowing that there is absolutely no chance for success and you will surely not survive, but to live on as a slave is a far worse fate.” Let’s do all that we can now before government moves against its people to institute martial law or implement a “North American Union,” or sign on to the United Nations World Government, will you let our communities and beloved homes be sold to international elites? My heart says NOT EVER! What does yours say?

Israel’s Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai has provoked outrage after threatening Palestinians with a “holocaust,” but the same media who obsessed about Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s “wipe Israel off the map” misquote are scurrying to defend Vilnai’s disgraceful comments.

“The more Qassam (rocket) fire intensifies and the rockets reach a longer range, they (the Palestinians) will bring upon themselves a bigger holocaust because we will use all our might to defend ourselves,” Vilnai told the Army Radio on Friday.

However, in a Reuters report, despite the fact that the rest of the statement was translated into English, the incendiary word “holocaust” remained in its original Hebrew version – “shoah”.

Why Reuters would choose to print the rest of the statement in English yet cherry-pick one word to remain in Hebrew is obvious – they don’t want to draw any attention to the fact that Vilnai is threatening the Palestinians with a holocaust.

Vilnai’s spokesman has attempted to diffuse the controversy by claiming Vilnai was speaking in terms of a “disaster” and not a holocaust.

But you can’t have your cake and eat it.

When Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad allegedly called for Israel to be “wiped off the map,” the media blindly repeated the quote ad infinitum, and it became second nature for them to carelessly drop it into any propaganda piece intended to hype Iran’s supposed threat to Israel and the world.

Barely a day goes by that Israeli, American and British warhawks don’t spew the phrase like a broken record in an attempt to create a catchy cliché and brand market the next jaunt of imperial blood-letting.

No matter that, according to numerous different translations, Ahmadinejad never used the word “map,” instead his statement was in the context of time and applied to the Zionist regime occupying Jerusalem. Ahmadinejad was expressing his future hope that the Zionist regime in Israel would fall, not that Iran was going to physically annex the country and its population.

To claim Ahmadinejad has issued a rallying cry to ethnically cleanse Israel is akin to saying that Churchill wanted to murder all Germans when he stated his desire to crush the Nazis. This is about the demise of a corrupt occupying power, not the deaths of millions of innocent people.

On the other hand, even as Reuters is forced to admit, Vilnai’s use of the word “shoah” is intrinsically allied to the context of “Discussions of the Nazi Holocaust of Jews,” adding, “Many Israelis are loath to countenance its use to describe other contemporary events.”

So will the media make reference to one of Israel’s top minister’s expressing his wish to inflict a Palestinian “holocaust” in all future reports about Israel’s geopolitical motives, just as they do with Ahmadinejad’s supposed call to wipe Israel off the map?

There’s more chance of Yasser Arafat and Menachem Begin coming back from the dead to broker a peace settlement.

Through its various agencies and treaties, the United Nations seeks to undermine individual, as well as national sovereignty. It has been almost 15 years since President Clinton signed on to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The U.S. remains one of the last holdouts as the treaty lies dormant, yet to be ratified. The UNCRC grants children new civil, social, cultural and economic rights that could override parental decisions. Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), is pushing for a vote as there is a real sense that under an Obama presidency, the UNCRC could finally be ratified.

Under the guise of human rights, the UN agenda is to further breakup the family.

If the UNCRC is ratified, parents could be prohibited from homeschooling and spanking their children. It undermines parental authority and gives more power to the state to further dictate how children are raised. It grants children dangerous new rights thus encouraging more rebellious behavior. The truth is that in many cases, children do not have the wisdom and maturity to make sound decisions. The treaty also gives children the mechanism by which they could dispute any parental judgment. The UNCRC transfers more parental authority to the state while granting children radical new rights.

Under the UNCRC, an 18-member committee has been established to review children’s rights and any other disputes that might arise. In many cases, we are already bound by international treaties and the UNCRC gives unaccountable UN bureaucrats the power to make decisions concerning our children’s well-being. Parents are being demoted to simple caregivers, while the state assumes the role of the prime authoritative figure. The UNCRC is an assault on parental authority and is essentially a blank check for governmental interference in family matters. It is meant to further promote child autonomy and freedom from parental guidance.

In the U.S., homeschooling numbers continue to rise as a growing number of parents look to better control their child’s moral instruction. Under the UNCRC, homeschooling could be interpreted as a violation of a child’s well being. Some states have tried to ban and outlaw homeschooling and the UNCRC could make it a UN-sponsored activity. Public school education is designed to correct any perceived errors in rearing and home training. The ideology of globalism and world government is at the very core of the educational system. The UN seeks to undermine parental authority, traditional values and biblical principles. They wish to gain more control over our children’s upbringing and education.

At recent meetings held in Mexico City, United Nations Population Fund representative, Arie Hoekman, told participants that high divorce rates and out-of-wedlock births were not a social crisis, but instead a triumph for human rights. Traditional values and principles instilled by parents, are being manipulated and pushed aside. The breakdown of the family is bringing about a rise in new values. Children’s love and loyalty to their family and country is being systematically destroyed. Under a new global order, there is no room for nationalism or individuality and a strong family unit represents a threat to this system.

Being a parent is a huge responsibility and undertaking that should not be taken lightly. Parents are not always right and some may be unfit. The reality is that children thrive in an environment where there is love and structure which includes consequences for their behavior. The UNCRC infringes upon parental authority and represents a massive intrusion by the state into family affairs. It has the potential to radically alter parent-child relationships. The UN definitely has no business telling parents how to raise their children and neither does the government unless there is evidence of neglect or abuse. The UN is a morally bankrupt institution with a horrible record of protecting human rights around the world and the U.S ratifying the UNCRC will not change that.

I used the word Oriental in reference to Kazakhs when discussing Borat (he used Romanian gypsies instead of real Kazakhs).

Someone wrote in response: “are kazakhs rugs? maybe you don’t know any better…….the word is asian…..”

So I figured to use this as an opportunity to push our agenda in a non-traditional venue where politics is never discussed. Ok, ok, I wrote about the race of Kazakhs vs. gypsies and used the term Oriental knowing that I would provoke a liberal so that I could respond to him. But I think we should use various venues to fight PC.

Leftists do it all the time. Their ideas are pushed in math and science classes, at corporate conferences, everywhere. So no reason why we shouldn’t do the same.

Come on! Every day PC words change … people only embrace PC in order to make themselves feel better… why don’t you just write, “I am better than you”.

An Asian is a person who lives in Asia. South Asians are also Asians, as are Arabs, Turks, Israelis, New Zealanders (I think it counts as Asia) and half of the Russians.

Asia is enormous with the most diverse populations of any continent.

Indigenous Europeans are of the same race, as are native Americans and Africans.

Asians are radically different. Look at Syrians and look at Koreans. Do they look the same to you?

So if I were to say that Kazakhs look Asian, what would that tell you? How would that help someone understand what they look like?

The term Asian says absolutely nothing except the place where the person lives.

Oriental is a term that’s easy for everyone to understand. When I say it, you know that it means East and Central Asian. Your goal however wasn’t to make sure that people understand what I am saying, but rather to make yourself feel superior to me.

The whole move towards Political Correctness is to make sure that nobody understands what you are saying because it supports ideas that go against all common sense.

Thus, instead of using the word “special” for gifted people, we use it for the disabled. And so on, so forth. What crazy religionists used to do with sex, the forces of political correctness now do with genetics and evolution.

PC was invented by Russian Communists precisely because they realized that by changing words, one can destroy people’s psyche. It’s a typical form of brainwashing that is meant to destroy the way people think and re-structure it the way that you would want them to think. You should read up on the roots of political correctness before you embrace it.

Interesting: Another person wrote that Borat should be referred to as “Asian-American”. Asian… umm… American?! Really? I missed his citizenship swear-in ceremony. Must’ve been when I went to get pop corn.

Apartheid was the cause celebre of the latter half of the last century. It was the only one which united all moral and principled people. Opposition became a kind of morality play by which we could all demonstrate our worthiness. In my case I gave up eating Outspan oranges (replacing them with an Israeli variety) while others made even more draconian sacrifices to bring down the hated regime.

And of course the wheels started falling off in the late eighties and the system collapsed entirely in 1994.

The common image of SA was that of a violent seething cauldron with the lid kept on only through the means of a highly militarized police state. Gun-toting police and soldiers on every corner no less, whites fearfully barricaded behind multiple layers of security. If true, this would indeed have represented a damning verdict on the system.

However, it was not true.

In fact it grotesquely misrepresents the real situation. SA in fact, even in the latter decades of apartheid (the most violent time) had a police/population ratio of about 1:2000. This was lower than in most other countries, including advanced Western ones such as the USA, France and Germany. Military spending as a proportion of GDP was also lower than in most Western states. It’s anecdotally indicated that most whites left their doors unlocked at night until well into the eighties.

And by the way, since ‘freedom’ was gained in 1994 there have been an incredible 300,000 murders, despite a huge ramp-up in the numbers of police. Just like India has become an outsourced destination for call centres, SA has become one for crime management. It now stands proudly as an international centre of excellence for money laundering, international prostitution rings, drug-trafficking and child pornography services.

So how bad was apartheid?

Well, it should first be realized that South Africa as a state was the creation of (white) European immigrants. It was run for their benefit, blacks were seen as a source of cheap labour, to be kept out of sight and sound as much as possible. They were not permitted to own land outside designated areas and were of course effectively excluded from the political system. They were deprived of various other rights, frequently humiliated and subjected to rough justice.

None of this was nice, but in terms of cosmic injustice it doesn’t even register. Comparatively few people were directly killed by way of the system. Sure, executions of blacks were at a rate which made GW Bush’s Texas seem almost liberal, and then there was the infamous Sharpeville massacre.

Let’s talk about Sharpeville. 69 people killed. Let’s assume that they were all killed in cold blood (they weren’t, in fact). But how in God’s name has this become a byword for state terrorism and criminality? Leave aside the tens of millions killed by the systems of Hitler, Stalin and Mao. Four million have been killed in the Congo. When Robert Mugabe sorted out Matabeleland in the early eighties (well after Sharpeville) he, within the space of six weeks, killed more than 2000 civilians. Most of the dead were killed in public executions involving between one and 12 people at a time. And he was a hero to us in the West at this time. I could in fact list 1000 other examples incomparably worse than Sharpeville or anything else under apartheid.

It should also be borne in mind, as I’ve mentioned in other posts, that nobody – nobody – treats, or treated Africans worse than they do themselves. It was the first thing that hit me when I went there. Africans themselves know that, which partially explained why they flooded into apartheid SA at every opportunity and at great personal risk.

The only ones, in terms of lousy treatment of Africans, to give the Africans themselves a close run are the Arabs. Arabs see, and treat, Africans as lesser humans. And they don’t make any apologies for it (their ‘holy’ book justifies it, by the way). And they still do it. Associates of mine in Abu Dhabi recoil in horror at the thought of allowing blacks into the UAE. They believe deep down that they should be treated as slaves.

So why then, given that its offences in comparative terms were small beer, did apartheid and SA draw such odium? Let me think. No, can’t think of any reason, seems no logic to it.

Ha wait! Of course – the South Africans were white! Silly me. I forgot, only whites are racists. Same reason why the Israelis get such attention while non-whites can continue slaughtering away in peace.

Yes, that mesmerizing mass purveyor of aspiration, desire and self-awareness regularly airs commercials these days that show Americans of different races and ethnicities interacting in integrated schools, country clubs, workplaces and homes, bonded by their love of the products they consume.

Ads like these are part of a subtle, yet increasingly visible strategy that marketers refer to as “visual diversity”—commercials that enable advertisers to connect with wider audiences while conveying a message that corporate America is not just “in touch,” racially speaking, but inclusive.

It wasn’t always like this. For much of the past century, “minorities were either invisible in mainstream media, or handed negative roles that generally had them in a subservient position,” says Jerome Williams, a professor of advertising and African-American studies at the University of Texas at Austin.

These “multiculti” ads may be evidence of the vitality of assimilation, America’s distinctive, master trend. To advertisers, though, they’re simply smart business—a recognition of a new cultural mainstream that prizes diversity, a recognition that we are fast approaching a day when the predominant hue in America will no longer be white.

“Going forward, all advertising is going to be multicultural by definition, because in most states, majority ethnic populations will no longer exist,” says Danny Allen, managing director at SENSIS, an ad agency in Los Angeles that specializes in reaching multicultural audiences through digital and online media.

And yet, some critics wonder if depicting America as a racial nirvana today may have an unintended downside—that of airbrushing out of the public consciousness the economic and social chasms that still separate whites, blacks and Latinos.

Even on Madison Avenue, which is generating the inclusive messages, recent studies find few nonwhites in decision-making and creative positions within the advertising industry itself.

Are multiculti ads, then, an accurate barometer of our racial progress, a showcase of our hopes in that direction—or a reminder of how far we still have to go?

Whites still hold most of the economic clout in the United States—85.5 percent of the nation’s annual buying power of $10 trillion, according to a 2007 study by the Selig Center for Economic Growth at the University of Georgia.

In recent years, though, marketers have been revising old assumptions and campaigns in anticipation of profound shifts in the nation’s demographics, and in reaction to changes already under way in what the Selig Center describes as “The Multicultural Economy.”

They note that:

_African-American buying power has risen from $318 billion in 1990 to $845 billion in 2007—a 166 percent gain. Whites’ buying power rose 124 percent during that period.

_The combined buying power of African-Americans, Asians and Native Americans was $1.4 trillion in 2007, a gain of 201 percent since 1990. Meanwhile, the economic clout of Latinos rose by 307 percent, to $862 billion, over that span.

_The number of black-owned companies rose 45 percent from 1997 to 2002—4 1/2 times faster than the national average—and their receipts grew slightly faster than all others. Native American-owned businesses increased by 67 percent, Asian firms 24 percent, Latino companies 31 percent.

If current trends continue, demographers say, nonwhites will be in the majority in America by 2042—a prospect not lost on advertisers, says Melanie Shreffler, editor of Marketing to the Emerging Majorities, an industry newsletter.

The ads may play well now, but Carter [Karl Carter, chief executive of the Atlanta marketing agency GTM Inc. (Guerrilla Tactics Media)] wonders how long they will be effective—particularly as America “beiges” and race becomes less essential to how individuals self-identify. Over the long run, advertisers would do better, he says, to focus on a cultural approach with versatile images and campaigns easily adapted to highly individualized tastes. Put another way: How do hip-hoppers feel? What are the common desires of surfers, or skateboarders, or kayakers?

“Advertising has to reflect reality, to some degree,” she says. “So, now that the president is African-American, I think companies that were once afraid to put members of multiple ethnic groups in their ads might see a chance here to go ahead and take a risk, or even see it as necessary.”

This 2008 spot is clever not only for its humor, but because it gingerly tests one of several racial boundaries most advertisers are still loath to cross: The presentation of interracial courting or romance.

Other no-nos?

There aren’t many ads depicting multiracial families or biracial couples interacting normally at home, whether having supper or watching a movie. And in ads that depict professional settings, people of color rarely appear in charge—as CEOs, say, giving presentations to their board of directors.

One reason that racial distortions persist may be the relatively low numbers of blacks in the $31 billion advertising industry, and a dearth of blacks in positions of power.

A report released in January by the Madison Avenue Project, a coalition of legal, civil rights and ad industry leaders, found dramatic levels of bias in the industry, with African-American professionals lagging in pay, hiring, promotions and assignments.

Some findings:

_Black college graduates earn 80 cents for every dollar made by their equally qualified, white counterparts, and salaries of $100,000 are disproportionately less likely for African-American managers and professionals.

_Sixteen percent of large advertising firms employ no black managers or professionals; in the overall labor market, 7 percent of companies are without blacks in those positions.

_Blacks are only 62 percent as likely as whites to work in the powerful “creative” and “client contact” functions.

And yet, might today’s ads also be implanting false assumptions that our race problems have been fixed, that all Americans are living comfortable, upper-middle-class lifestyles in racially harmonious settings?

“If you were to come down from another planet and watch TV, you’d think that all of these human beings share a lot of intimacy, regardless of the way they look,” Gallagher [Charles Gallagher, chair and professor of the sociology department at La Salle University] says. “But the reality is, people of different races don’t share social space like that.”

About 80 percent of whites live in neighborhoods in which 95 percent of their neighbors are also white, and census data shows 90 percent of the neighborhoods that were predominantly or exclusively black in 1990 remained that way a decade later.

“My students always say to me, ‘Isn’t it better to have these ads? It’s kind of a fake-it-‘til-you-make-it kind of thing,’” Gallagher says. “The problem with that, I tell them, is that distortions and false impressions never do anyone any good.”

Confirmation of what we’ve long known.

While much of this is done to deliberately put a positive perspective on interracial interactions, Mad Ave needs to push the envelope to get attention. They are ads out there that show ambiguous relationships between black men and white women (are they a couple or just sitting in close proximity?). Soon, it’s going to be front and center.

Yes, these corporate advertisers are “faking it,” pretending that this is just one big, happy national family, instead of acknowledging the ethnic and racial tensions that always accompany a polyglot society — especially one as large as the U.S. Their desire to depict an “America as it ought to be” rather than an America as it really is, I believe is the real reason for the multi-culti commercials — not a belief that this is the most effective way to sell the product.

But I also believe that TV commercials nowadays aren’t nearly as “integrated” as this AP article would like us to believe. For instance: Notice how the ads almost always depict a “warm, loving family” as black — despite the 70 percent illegitimacy rate among blacks. The black father, especially, is always played by an actor who is tall, well-built and handsome.

A White father, on the other hand, is likely to be portrayed by an actor who is chubby, balding, and acts like a doofus. In fact, that description fits most of the White male actors who appear in TV commercials nowadays — no taller than medium height, overweight, losing their hair, acting as if they’re afraid of their wives. That gives away the mindset of those who make the commercials: Yes, they want to sell the product. But on a social level, they also want to help undermine what they view as the dominant position of White males in this society. What better way than making them seem physically unimposing, not very bright, and hen-pecked?

I have to so agree. I see commercials where black, brown, white an oriental people are together on college campuses, in restuarants, at various events of all kinds, and so on. Now some of these situations might exist in special circumstances, like for instance, company meetings, company outings, occasionally school rallies, and that’s about it. The claims of libeal progressives aside, the truth is the truth.

Some of these commercials border on the absurd. It’s nothing more than the usual multicultural liberal progressive attempt at brainwashing the American public. Now some of these situations might exist at company meetings, a few school rallies, or maybe some company outings, and those are about the only situations in which I have seen black, Chinese, White, Hispanic, Indian, and what have you, people, all playing, congregating, etc. together.

I am so sick of this garbage.

What kind of fantasy land is this country living in?

I just did a job in NYC with a crew from Paris. The soundman brought me a few magazines : Paris Match, Le Point, Marianne.

Right now the French press is talking alot about the “unrest” in their territories in the Caribbean and elsewhere (Guadeloupe, Martinique, La Reunion). They are much more bold than the US press would ever be, though they do still dance around the issue of race rather spinelessly (but nowhere near like here in the US).

But what truly blew me away in these French magazines, and was an incredible breath of fresh air in an otherwise bleak and depressing week (visiting NYC after reading Amren daily for two years can be an eye-opening and disturbing experience), was their near total lack of the relentless 24/7 non-stop in-your-face diversity that is force-fed to us over here in advertising.

In ALL of the big ads in Paris Match, for ALL of the big-name French companies like Chanel or Peugeot, the people depicted in the ads are typical Frenchmen, period. NOT the gaggle of opposite racial types perpetually depicted as living side by side in perfect harmony as seen in EVERY SINGLE ADVERTISEMENT featured here in the USA.

I have posted here before about how this same phenomenon – lack of contrived artificial diversity on tv and in advertising (or should I say instead: “Accurate portrayal of demographic realities in ads and on tv”?) – exists on your local Spanish-language cable channel. Last time I watched a movie (the beautiful “Anita no pierde el tren”, 2001, set in Spain) on Telemundo, I was SHOCKED to see not a single black face, either in the film itself, or on any of the commercials during the breaks, NOT A SINGLE ONE.

I am so aghast at what is happening in this country that sometimes I can barely think straight: all of the wishful thinking of the social engineers that you see, plain as day, in print or on tv, the dishonesty and untruthfulness of the propaganda simply staggering, that’s without even mentioning the MIND BOGGLING fraudulence of this thing in the White House, this invention of the left, a mere seven years after 9/11….

Sometimes I want to start planning my emigration out of the US, a lot like the remaining Afrikaners in SA.

Somebody please: suggest something. Something needs to happen and it needs to start happening soon.

I’m surprised the white baby in the E-Trade ad is the one who seems to know the most. More often we see blacks who are the one in charge or the only one with any sense.

Of course they are trying to suggest to people that blacks are just like them, maybe better. But then we hear about the education gap, and how blacks are sent to prison so much more ofter. To the average idiot who these ads target, it must be confusing. On one hand they are being told that blacks are doing well, and on the other they are told that they still need to step back and let a black person ahead of them for a job since blacks still need help to level the field.

That young people see nothing wrong with interracial romance show how successful these sorts of campaigns are. Of course maybe the kids do see it as wrong, but they know that they are never allowed to let anyone know that they think that way.

That’s like it is in the TV markets of my native St. Louis and my current Cape Girardeau-Carbondale-Paudcah — you’ll see TV commercials advertising these fly-by-night “colleges” where you learn to be a criminal justice expert in three weeks. The images you’ll see are of black cops arresting white criminals, and of black scientists working in labs, fast forward to white criminal being sent to prison.

On these same channels, the news will almost always (in the case of St. Louis), or on occasion (in the case of Carbondale) have black criminality predominate its first segment, the images you will see are of white cops arresting black criminals.

In their lust for money (and ironically, the protection it might buy them from the “multiculti” realities of life,) they foolishly foster a kaleidoscopic fantasy world via the idiot box. In this, we see that their greed and stupidity merges together to produce an arrogance, that reduces them to abject absurdity.

After all, should the “cultural mainstream” suddenly change for the better, might not they be fed to the pigs?

My mother who is in her early 70s and not at all racially aware said to me the other day, “there sure are a lot of black people on TV nowadays, I hardly ever see a commercial with white people.” There it was a 70ish year old woman noticing a distinct increase or over representation of blacks on TV.

TV commercials are a great source of information about the mental condition of Americans. It’s important to consider when analysing commercials, always to note the product being advertised as well as the program and time slot. This will fairly well indicate the demographics of the audience. For example: The commercials, shown in conjunction with auto racing, do not denigrate White men. Commercials shown with soaps for electronic products show White men as unpleasant or ineffectual.

The most memorable and truly humorous of these types of ads was one I remember from the early eighties, for Bic pens.

The catch-phrase was “Go with the flow”. One of the sequences showed three white guys and one black man, all named Thomas and all apparently partners in a legal firm. The camera panned from one to the next, with the black man last. All three white men wore identical horn-rimmed glasses and conservative suits; the black man was in a flashy outfit.

The three white men stated their names in identical monotones while holding up a Bic pen: “Thomas”, “Thomas”, “Thomas”

The camera then pans to the black man: “And THOM-ASSSS, ARE GOIN’ WITH THE FLOOOOOW!!!”
It was genuinely hilarious, but probably someone in the NAACP complained. I only saw the ad a couple of times.

I get angry at the advertizers who depict the false illusion of racial harmony in their ads and I get VERY angry at these same airheads who depict whites as incompetent boobs who need a non white to come to their rescue in their ads. And Mr Advertiser I am putting you on notice that I am a white who refuses to buy your product if you in any way insult my race, heritage or culture. This has been my practice for years. Whites hold more than 85 percent of American consumer buying power. And you expect us to purchase your products after insulting the hell out of us, while praising minorities as our superiors at the same time? No thank you. My money will not be enriching you. My father said recently that if you judged America only by looking at TV, you’d think 90% of the country was black. I’ve also noticed what others have, that every white male on american tv is shown as a big overgrown child, dorky, fat and balding and too dumb to tie his shoelaces unless a black is showing him how. White females are often shown either as frumpy dorks or as some blonde sexpot whispering seductively at you. Blacks and every other minority however, male or female, are shown as being smart, attractive, capable and upper class in every way and giving whites clear instructions on everything from how to do their taxes or which car to buy.

That’s a big IF. A lot can happen between now and then to totally change things. However, if America does become majority non-white and made up of various ethnic groups, it will simply cease to exist as it is today. It will be just another 3rd world country in a globalized economy. Madison Ave. advertisers won’t have much to advertise because the country will be made up of a small ruling class of elites with widespread poverty and economic depression among the mostly non-white masses.

First of all, the group of Americans that have the highest annual income is not whites but asian-americans. If America were “racist” this would not be. Blacks/Latinos make less money because they are more likely to drop out of school, less likely to go to college despite the fact that they can get government aid easier then whites, are more likely to be single parent families and have kids out of wedlock and they have more kids.

Actually these ads work in our favor. They lead to a phenomenon known as “cognitive dissonance.” That’s what happens when there’s a huge disconnect between fictional beliefs and harsh reality.

The smart black person who solves the “stupid white guy’s” problem is the fiction shown on TV. What ordinary people experience on the street, in the store, and in the company office day in and day out is the exact opposite, the facts of daily life if you will.

Eventually something’s got to give. Either the reality of daily life will give way, producing a schizophrenic person who lives in a total imaginary world, or the fiction of TV will be seen for what it is, sheer fiction with no foundation in reality. A person who figures that out then becomes immune to the propaganda, as most people posting on this site have become. The sheer contrast between the fiction and fact is thus actually maximized by these shows and commercials.

Still it is annoying to have all that anti-white racism shoved in your face all the time, but there is a remedy: the on-off button on the remote. Click off the TV and spend your quality time doing something else. Or be wise and rent movies and shows online that you know will not have this in-your-face propaganda.

NOLA – I hear you loud and clear. It’s frustrating. This insanity will forever change the country in an awful way. I don’t know if we will ever take a stand. We may just be mimicking Rome, only much quicker. I find myself looking at other countries also, but Europe seems busy destroying its indigenous populations. Argentina looks nice,demographically speaking, as well as Uruguay.

I don’t believe people just decide to no longer exist. Who is pulling the strings here?

It is not racial harmony but the goofy white guys and the smart black guys that make up the advertising narratives. Look for future Madison Ave. & Hollywood productions of white girl swept off her feet by cool black guy.

Race mixing has no sales value. Whites don’t need blacks using products to convince them to buy. Common sense would tell you white people want to see white people enjoying the product.

Maybe the minorities, who do sense their inferiority, want to see themselves mixed in with white people, but as Attorney General Eric Holder pointed out white people don’t want to mix.

Advertising is supposed to sell products, not sell multiculturalism. Multiculturalism runs against the grain of basic human instincts. Advertisers are experts at manipulating the unconscious. Yet there is a universal conformity for this counter productive behavior. One is forced to conclude that a powerful force is behind the race mixing in advertising and Hollywood productions.

My adult children express their consternation at my reminders of the non-white take over of America. Although they don’t consider minorities’ life threatening to our culture, they do see them as drag on it. After all there is really nothing they can do about. My sons, the best sons in the world, like the TV show Burn Notice. I recorded an episode and saw something odd. In the background of a scene a blond woman and black man walked by together. A minute later another blond woman and black man heading in the same direction stop and kiss. Slow motion revealed it was the same couple.

Nothing is haphazard in commercials or movies. The writers, directors, and producers carefully stage every foot of film. Since our aversion to other races is deep in the unconscious the anti-white elites must attack it on that level even more aggressively than on the conscious level.

A picture is worth a thousand words. I did get a positive reaction after the kissing revelation. My sons are now conscious of the anti-white subliminal message sent. Now if they would only stop watching the NBA.

I too have noticed that white men are usually portrayed in commercials as clownish, inept men. One reason for this is whites are the only racial group not allowed to organize for their own racial self-interest so no one cares if whites are ridiculed. However, if blacks or latinos or American Indians were habitually presented as losers and clowns in commercials, their civil rights groups would protest and even file suit.

The other reason for our being poorly depicted is that those who dislike whites are jealous of our accomplishments and annoyed by our perceived status. They want to denigrate us while simultaneously raising up all other ethnic groups to our former level of dignity.

Our youth are being subliminally brainwashed that to be a white male in multi-culti America is to be a loser. Every other group, including white women and children, dominate white males in commercials. We all know that alpha white males exist, but they are rarely shown in commercials. Instead, we are habitually shown alpha black males, alpha latina females, alpha every ethnic group, but always an emasculated, goofy white male to provide comic relief.

One more point: Isn’t something like 70% of all burglaries in America perpetrated by blacks and mestizos? Yet in all the ads for security services they feel the need to show a white burglar lurking in the bushes, never a black or mestizo. I am insulted.

Suppose it were announced that blacks had fallen from 13% of the population to 10%, and it is further expected in another 40 years that they will be only 5%.

Suppose it were also announced that X% of jobs that were traditionally held by blacks are now held by Hispanics and other immigrants. And that further “progress” is expected to continue in this area.

Would blacks be expected to welcome that news and even “celebrate” it?

It is only shortsighted: greed, stupidity, and arrogance, that guides today’s “advertisers!”
In their lust for money (and the protection it might buy them from the “multiculti” realities of life,) they foolishly foster a kaleidoscopic fantasy world via the idiot box.

After all, should the “cultural mainstream” suddenly change for the better, might not they be fed to the pigs?

They are shortsighted indeed. Do they really suppose that this country can undergo a racial transformation, and yet they and their companies will magically float above it all, remaining untouched?

That is fantasy! EVERYTHING will be changed…. including their positions and their wealth. Nothing will survive and be the same as it is today. Somehow, they foolishly think that they can sell out everyone else, but still preserve themselves. Not likely!

The absolute worst ads have to be the ones for the alarm and protection companies. Always always whites casing or looking to break into a house. The only saving grace is that I have not seen any with whites looking to break into a house occupied by blacks. The next worst are some dumb ads with a lawyer interviewing his client inside a jail or prison. Care to venture a guess as to the race of his client? Just an aside, has anybody kept score on how many black champs Jeopardy has? This I think really calls for an investigation by that guy Holder.

Can you spell P-R-O-P-A-G-A-N-D-A?

I mean what else would you call these asinine commercials depicting Black researchers, Black ‘experts’ that seem to have all the answers for their befuddled White associates?

I always get a laugh out of these artificial universes depicted in sitcom-like commercials… the White families with the obligatory best friends… who just happen to be Blacks. About as true-to-life as a Mickey Mouse cartoon. By definition, my wife and I are midd-class, White-collar types. A decent income, decent education. Yet neither we, nor ANYONE I know have Blacks for friends.

Why on earth would we choose to socialize with Blacks? Granted we all buy more or less the same consumer products (within our respective financial reach). With that, communality ends. We’re WHITE, they’re BLACK. No communications. No interest in each other. You might have Black faces at work… after hours, you go separate ways. Interracial fraternization? Thank you, but NO THANK YOU!

Granted, the youngsters, particularly girls get pressured with the “am I too Black for you” garbage. The pigs end up breeding mulatto babies; the sensible ones fend off unwanted advances. So who really would take those ludicrous commercials seriously? An artifical life in an artificial universe. I’d venture a guess not even Blacks fall for that unrealistic picture.

When our kids became teenagers, they were made to understand very emphatically… A Black boyfriend is unacceptable. Marry or have sex with a Black and the price will be losing your family. FOREVER! The choice is yours. Make the wrong one and be disowned and rejected by us the rest of your life! No turning back, EVER!

Sure it’s hard. Call it “tough love.” But the only way to make your teenager understand. That too many families are too gutless to take a firm stand is the reason for the many mulatto faces you encounter daily. The grandmother with a mixed-breed child in the supermarket parking lot. The tweny-year old White girl with a mixed-breed brat. Draw your own conclusions.

The multicult advertisements are a self-fulfilling prophecy. They program you and your children every time you watch them. You may think that awareness makes you immune, but it doesn’t – bit by tiny bit, they reprogram your brain’s definition of normalcy. The conditioning that is effected by this programming, is a significant contributor to the meek reaction of Whites to being displaced in their own nation.

50 years ago, Whites would not have accepted the conditions we accept in our nation today. What was different then? They were not programmed 24/7 to be accepting of multiculturalism. Their descendants however have bought into the notion that they need to be entertained every moment of the day, and voluntarily inject the programming directly into their consciousness.

It’s time to throw off the programming, and WAKE UP. You don’t HAVE to watch those good Black / bad White TV dramas, or allow your kids to buy rap music, or purchase products from companies that are forcing miscegenation into your world. Turn the tables on them – when you see adverts for products that feature traditional White families, buy those products and spread the word to your friends and family.

Most importantly, contact the companies that you champion as well as the ones you boycott, and TELL THEM exactly why you aren’t buying their products. Let’s start using that #1 buying power clout to OUR advantage, instead of our opponents.

On the one hand, I agree with advertisers who want to show things in a positive light, and we do have to get along until such time as we have our own. On the other hand, it is best for whites if they have as little as possible or nothing at all to do with nonwhites, kind of like what the old south was said to be like, simply ignoring then whenever it’s possible. At some point you have to do what’s best for yourself.

I never thought of myself a HATING anyone I Just find it very hard to understand where a group of people who seem to have a penchant for crime, perverted sex (see CDC reports on hiv/aids) and what seem to be an aversion to helping ANYONE including themselves can have picked up so much power and exposure? Then I realized its NOT them pushing this AGENDA it’s our own white race that is raising these people up to the level of demigods? WHY is what I would like to know WHY? I for one avoid buying any product advertised using this all black or black with a blonde female, who is always so excited and proud to be with him, mix. They are under 14% of the population and that should be their representation on TV, etc. And the power these muslims seem to exert over our schools and public arena’s far exceeds anything a Christian or Jew has ever been able to exert. Will we EVER say enough is enough already and take back what is Our Country?
