Part of California Wants to be New State

South California

A CBS news article reports: “Is the state of California about to go South? Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone apparently thinks so, after proposing that the county lead a campaign for as many as 13 Southern California counties to secede from the state. Stone said in a statement late Thursday that Riverside, Imperial, San Diego, Orange, San Bernardino, Kings, Kern, Fresno, Tulare, Inyo, Madera, Mariposa and Mono counties should form the new state of South California.”

In other words, “Get us the hell away from that cesspool in Los Angeles, those homosexuals in San Francisco and those corrupt, incompetent bastards in Sacramento!” Ironically, when people hear the expression “southern California” they think of L.A. which is one of the disaster areas that South California would be divorcing itself from.

Most people don’t know that illegal aliens invading California like to go straight for Los Angeles where they can disappear into the millions of other illegal aliens already there. San Diego, near the border, is a smaller city with fewer opportunities for illegals, and psychologically, many illegals may not want to be that close to the border, fearing that it’s easier to be deported there. Believe it or not there is a secondary check point run
by the border patrol on the I-5 freeway about 50 miles north of San Diego on the way to L.A.

CBS goes on: “The creation of the new state would allow officials to focus on securing borders, balancing budgets, improving schools and creating a vibrant economy, he said. ‘Our taxes are too high, our schools don’t educate our children well enough, unions and other special interests have more clout in the legislature than the general public,’ Stone said in his statement.”

Mr. Stone did not, of course, use the terms “race” or “illegal immigrants” or “democrats,” but it’s obvious to anyone with two brain cells to rub together that’s what he was talking about.

More CBS: “He unveiled his proposal on the day Gov. Jerry Brown signed budget legislation that will divert about $14 million in 2011-12 vehicle license fee revenue from four new Riverside County cities. Officials fear the cut will cripple the new cities of Eastvale, Jurupa Valley, Menifee and Wildomar. Stone said he would present his proposal to the Board of Supervisors July 12. The new state would have no term limits, only a part-time legislature and limits on property taxes.”

It’s a pity that this movement for a new state is based on money, but it’s at least a step in the right direction. The reason California is spiraling toward bankruptcy is the crushing burden of the illegal aliens ($13.1 billion per year) combined with the cost imposed by state union workers, who got insanely lucrative contracts from Democrats, who were buying their votes with public money. When leftist hacks in Sacramento were making hysterical statements condemning Arizona’s new immigration law SB1070, the White people in south California were thinking SB1070 is a great idea, which could easily become law there if they were only a state.

I’m tempted to say the Federal government will never allow this new state, and Obama of course won’t, but suppose Obama and the Democrats get turfed out in November 2012 and a Republican president and Congress gets in? The new state of South California could happen then.

A new state like that would virtually guarantee two more Republican senators and create a healthy prosperous state, reducing the size of liberal California and reducing the magnitude of the disaster that will result when liberal California inevitably goes bankrupt.

It would also create a new border state that would be interested in stopping the flow of illegal aliens into the US, which would be something the Tea Party Republicans would strongly support.
